Busy morning but managed to do some overtime this morning (7-10) while in bed and then spent time with my mum doing one of our yearly traditions around this time of the year and stayed dry despite the miserable weather!

We popped to a garden centre, picked up a couple plants and then planted them in her garden in memory of my dad! Its a silly thing but it lets me spend time with my mum and a way to mark his anniversary!

I'm talking to too many people right now, I'm not interested in a single one of them but I keep trying to force myself to put in effort and put myself out there.

They're all wildly different from each other. Some really hot, some really confident, some meat heads, some nerds, scientists, skinny little men, stunning women, men that are all muscle.

The thing they do however have in common is that talking to them makes me feel the depth of my loneliness without him.
