After a short conversation It got to a point and I asked the following, “ so, what you’re telling me is that you believe in one god in three persons, that Jesus is in fact God, that he is a part of God as God the son, as his own son?”, she admitted I had summed it up correctly. I went on “ up to now you have been mistaken in assuming I haven’t read the book you say contains evidence of God’s love and morality, in fact I have read your book and found the following, that the God of the Old Testament is a monster, a capricious, jealous, unjust, misogynistic, genocidal, racist, intolerant, unloving immoral monster who throws his teddy out the pram every time he’s upset at the smallest transgression of his list of sometimes moronic rules, rules that were written and venerated by scientifically ignorant Iron Age goat herders who thought the sky was a dome and the earth flat, and you want me to follow and worship a man who you claim is a third of that God monster?” Here our conversation ended, apparently I cannot be saved and will be going to Hell, where all who disagree with people like her, like two thirds of the planet, are going, see you all there.
