To celebrate "You're Losing Me" finally being added to streaming, co-writer and co-producer Jack Antonoff shared a new (old) personal photo of Taylor.
She happens to be wearing a charming sweater featuring a rainbow cookie that’s designed by Jack's sister - Rachel Antonoff.
This feels like a moment a very long time in the making to see Taylor wear one of her designs. To see it come to life captured in what’s clearly a very personal home moment ahead of writing one of her most vulnerable songs feels all sorts of soft.
“Oh that’s a while ago that picture. That is Mr. Styles, yes indeed. Yeah, by the bin. [interviewer asks what they were putting in the bin] Coffee cups I think.”
-Niall confirming he’s with Harry in this picture! (February 2021)
Ash Wednesday??(11th Century) "Remember you are dust and to dust you shall return" (Genesis 3:19)?!?!?! CANNOT BELIEVE the Catholic Church(about 30 CE) made a day based off of Mike Flanagan's(1978) hit TV show Midnight Mass(2021)... What's next? Easter(2nd Century)? Pfft. As if.
((I told my psychologist abt them and she asked me why his letters to her are so important to me, what I like about them? and I went OKAY WHERE DO I BEGIN-))
To any of my younger followers, I want you to know that doom scrolling is not activism. I know that most people online use social media as a way to get news about current events (please don't do this) but social media is not the end all be all.
Take a moment to ground yourself in reality, you are literally on tumblr dot com. A site in which you'll run into a post with 35k notes that say something like "sauteing my boy pussy for my gf!" and that's fine. Social media is the place we go to get a break. It's an escape from reality and to relax, which is something you are not only allowed to do but is something you should do.
Doom scrolling will keep you locked in a fight or flight mode that is very unhealthy. Take a break. Spending all day invested in the news and what other social media accounts have to say isn't helping anyone.
You also need to understand that social media isn't the only way to show support. People participated in activism when social media didn't even exist. Sign petitions, share donation links where you can, go to marches, send emails.
