gladly! this is gonna be a long post

this was my first car, she was a 1984 mercedes 300D turbodiesel. her name was clifford, named after a button on the dash from a defunct security system. in-line five diesel engine, sounded like a truck, was built like a truck, LOVED this car. i paid $600 for her in 2016. she had 308k miles when i bought her, and she went to the scrapyard with 314k the next year when the hood latches broke while i was on the highway and sent the hood into the windshield. i was okay but the repairs were just too much for a $600 car. she was awesome though, a real head turner even with her peeling clearcoat and plumes of diesel smoke

then there was the corolla! 1999, manual transmission. the best car i’ve ever owned. not my favorite but definitely objectively the best. bought off a friend also for $600, around 210k miles. surprisingly fun to drive, very reliable. drove from north carolina to massachusetts in that car, and then across massachusetts every week. her name was wanda, which carried over from the previous owner. drover her for a little over a year before the brakes failed and i rear ended someone

i replaced the corolla with an ‘05 mazda3 i called the tick, after the cartoon character. also bought from a friend. kept it through early 2021 i think, drove it through most of early quarantine. i didn’t love this car personally, in large part because the transmission and starter both went out on me within the first two months of ownership and the friend i bought it from was entirely unsympathetic. i sold it to my shitty roommate lol

and then for some reason my mom gave me a sports car. she bought a new honda civic and handed down her 2004 subaru wrx wagon, with the manual transmission and everything. she’d named it the millennium falcon so i called her falcon. this car was a blast to whip around. that turbo boxer engine sounded amazing and this thing RIPPED on the highway. the biggest issues with it were that it really didn’t have all that much character on the road, and it took premium gas, so fill ups were EXPENSIVE. i sold her after having her for a few months because the clutch went out and i was quoted $2k to replace it because that’s what happens when you have a sports car. sold it as is to a guy with two other wrxs who wanted to fix it up and use it as a work car

this is the current baby! bit of an older picture because she looks uhhh worse these days but this is clifford jr the 2001 jeep cherokee xj. i’ve learned so much with this car, done a bunch of the work on her myself. she’s a fixer upper im reaching my limit on but she’s served me remarkably well and is my favorite car i’ve owned. not fast, not good on gas, but god she’s got some character. just rolled over 256k miles

like i said i’m reaching my wits end with the jeep, every time i fix something two more things break, and i can’t afford for her to keep being a money pit. so i’m starting to save for something else, ideally a late 80s honda or toyota, or a panther body sedan, like a ford crown victoria or mercury grand marquis

Hey guys! Just wanted to apologize for my absent due to doing some stuff as you may expected, but this time is that I'm getting done with my latest 👨‍👦👔Father's Day artwork from yesterday and should be ready as my next DeviantArt post by next week soon. Though it will be other stuff that I'll be encounter like I did promised to my P-Pal I can have free time for our secret art trade and I should've bring my latest E3 announcement post from Nintendo. Need least to say, it was not easy to check my listings. 😥

Nevertheless, glad to know of what I finished my Father's Day artwork from yesterday and I can have free time I wanted....for now at least. I still be busy through my P-Pal's posts to cover first and this one was really huge for him playing his favorite game ever since he got from last year's 🎅Christmas: Gran Tursimo Sport! It happened back in June 5th, 2021 where he shows his racing progress in three posts that I decided to show three links of it. Hoping my P-Pal will be okay with this reblog post that I'll be doing, but had to tell ya it worth knowing. There's so many details to explain so I wanted to take time to say my thoughts down below. Anyways, let's get started for the first one.

Part 1

I really like his recording video where he revealed his first gift car of the 🚗Honda Civic Type R. It'll be wrong that he can't enter without his starter car to earn first. It was thankful when the game have him as a gift to get started his racing career for GT Sport.

🐰🖌Maxwell: Yeah! Also it was cool to see its starter menu that really had history of cars and other famous people who been driving with it. ☺👍🏼Gonna say it was interesting; especially with its intro that was epic and the music only 🐱���Noteson can love.♥️

Part 2

After checking a preview for my P-Pal bring us their "Brand Central"; which is a car line up of all brands and manufacturer from all around the world was impressive one. Though knowing from comparison with Gran Tursimo 6's that it had so much than Sport's. Even so, I went to their wiki site to learn how much did GT6 have: 1, 279 cars and 111 manufacturer.

🐰👊💥May: Now compared to GT Sport after we look into another wiki site was 337 cars. We understand that GT Sport had less vehicles than from previous racing games. At least knowing also this game giving the cars fully details. 🙂👌🏼

Part 3

And now finally here's the third one that I'll stop it here, but I'm promised I'll get into more of my P-Pal's GT Sport racing progress posts later on. So stay tuned. Anyways for the third part, it was a nice easter egg reference from developers they put to remind that will never forget the past history of other Gran Tursimo games. Listening the remix version from 🏁🏎🎮Gran Tursimo 2 theme song is one example and it really does have nostalgic feelings in tunes. In which my P-Pal been playing his racing game for some long time. Now it looks like this song now available for GT Sports when my P-Pal enters the campaign mode more often. Nice! ☺👍🏼

🦊⚽️Sam: Indeed it will, A-Pal! By the way, did you forget to mention since hearing Gran Tursimo 7 will not only coming to PS5, but also the recent PS4 Consoles as well?

Yeah. It was an unexpected news for it been announced already and could be good thing since the PS5 consoles could be tricky to find in stores. Not to mention they're much expensive that cost some pretty penny, but sadly most of all was gotten hands of scalpers who's been getting those PS5 consoles quickly online. Which is unfortunate news for 🐘🎮🧹Jumbo was just looking forward to get one sooner this year....I'm hoping it would end soon if that happens. 😔

Anyways, here's to hoping if Gran Tursimo 7 is coming to PS4 so my P-Pal will try it out; with slightly turn down graphics from the PS5 version.
