Very long rant

Just expressing my love for these slashers dw

I think none of you understand how bat shit crazy I am about Asa/Arkin and Preston/Jesse. Because- look, I’ve been all over them since 2020 okay? And for the past 3.5 years, I think about them daily. I think about them during meals, while I’m studying, in class, folding laundry- I CRY OVER THEM FFS. Istg I’ve been crying over them in silly angsts situations that I make up in my mind before I go to bed for the past years. I cried to the point that my old pillow cases literally got tear stains stacking and mold underneath bc of how damp it got. My crying got so severe that bawling my eyes out while thinking about them for 1 or 2 hours straight is normal. I cry about them almost every. Fucking. Night. If it’s mild, it’s 10-30 minutes. If it’s worse, 1-2 hours. If it’s severe, 3-4 hours. I cried so much I had to take water breaks, I cried until my head hurts and my eyes swollen. My nightly-crying streak record is 12 DAYS straight- where I cried over them every night. I can make myself cry on the spot if I think about them for too long. Sometimes they’d creep up inside my thoughts and I suddenly wanted to cry in public. I even shed a few tears during class bc I thought of them. They occupy my thoughts like a plague, I think about them so much that I just casually slip an “Arkin.” or “Preston!!” out loud- because I was repeating a scenario in my head. I even have a little self-insert to squeeze in there.

Once I got introduced to C.Ai, I got even worse because I literally cried from 11pm to 5AM while acting out the angstiest scenarios with the Jesse ai bot while rp-big as Preston. Don’t get me even fucking started on how many tears I shed over Asa ai bot while setting my persona as Arkin ( and vice versa ).

I’m so fucking obsessed I bought a black turtleneck bc I thought of Asa the moment I saw it. I always envisioned Asa as a cat. So now every time I see a video or pictures of cats meowing, abandoned cats or cats suffering, searching for their absent owners I just get sad then immediately get reminded of Asa. I compared Preston to a pigeon so now whenever I see any type of birds at all, I immediately think of Preston. I headcannoned Arkin to like fishing, so now IM interested in fishing. I have a ginormous amount of brain rot over these 4 mfs that- me and a mutual of mine, have texting back and forth all of our brainrot almost daily for THE PAST 7 MONTHS (since last June)- AND WE STILL HAVENT RAN OUT OF SHIT TO SAY YET.

AND- by the time I’m writing this it’s 5:45AM in my country, and I’ve just finished another crying session (over Jesse/ Preston this time) that lasted for over hour. Is this normal?? I don’t think it is. Idk what kind of autistic am I but DAMN-

TUMBLR TIPS – GOING BACK IN TIME (ON YOUR DASHBOARD)

Say you've been scrolling your dashboard on Tumblr, and stop at a particular point. You go to bed, and the next day you want to get back to scrolling from where you left off.

If you copied the URL, you can just paste it back in your address bar, and you will be taken to the same spot in the chronology.

But what if you forgot to copy the URL? Well there's a way to go back in time.

If you click on the Home icon, you'll be taken to the latest post on the dashboard. The URL in the address bar is always:

https: //www.tumblr.com/dashboard

Hit the right arrow on your keyboard. This is the shortcut to take you to the previous page. (For a handy list of this and other keyboard shortcuts, make sure you're in Dashboard View – the usual view when you open Tumblr – and then click on the keyboard icon at the bottom right of the webpage.) Alternatively, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the button that says 'Next' to go to the previous page.

The URL should look like some version of this:

https: //www.tumblr.com/dashboard?max_post_id=731568565951643648

On my dashboard, this URL is for a webpage with the latest post timestamped 9:15AM 19 October 2023. (If you cut and paste this URL into the address bar in another window or tab, Tumblr will bring you back to the same webpage showing that post on the dashboard.)

The long number at the end of the URL (731568565951643648) indicates that webpage's place in your dashboard chronology. (Google reads this number out to me as "731 quadrillion 468 trillion 565 billion 951 million six hundred and forty-three thousand six hundred and forty-eight.") The bigger the number, the later the date.

If you make this number smaller, Tumblr will take you back to an earlier point on the dashboard.

Changing the digits toward the end of the number doesn't do much. You need to change the first few digits to make things really move.

Using the above URL as an example, if I type directly into the address bar and change:

731568565951643648

to

731468565951643648

Tumblr brings me to an earlier point in the chronology (more than 24 hours back), to a webpage whose latest post is timestamped 6:45AM on 18 October 2023. (In case you can't see the difference in the numbers above – I changed the fourth digit to a smaller one, replacing the '5' with '4' so '7315…..etc.' becomes '7314…..etc.')

Making the number even smaller takes you further back. For example, changing '7315…..etc.' to '6315…..etc.' takes me to a webpage with the latest post timestamped 2:18PM 10 October 2020.

And so on and so forth. You can actually jump backwards decades this way (I tried).

So if you can remember the approximate time you stopped scrolling the night before, change one of the first few digits in the number of the URL and Tumblr will show you a view of the dashboard closer to the last post you read. Once you get close, use the right arrow to move backward page by page.

One drawback though, is that you can't scroll forward after you've located the post you want. If you want to scroll forward from the located post, this is what I do:

First find the webpage of your dashboard containing the post you want (i.e., the last post you viewed) by following the instructions above and jumping back in time.

Then open a duplicate of this webpage on a second tab (right-click the mouse, and select 'Duplicate').

On this duplicate webpage, make the URL number larger to jump forward in time (say to post 'X').

Still on the second tab, use the right arrow (or the 'Next' button at the bottom of the page) to scroll backward to the last post that you viewed.

You can now scroll forward (on this second tab) as far as post 'X'.

Repeat the process to scroll forward beyond post 'X'.

Private space company, Rocket Lab, launched its 40th Electron mission on their lauded Electron rocket, dubbed “We Love The Nightlife”, on August 24th at 11:45am New Zealand Standard Time (August 23rd at 7:45pm EST), which also marks the 7th launch of 2023, all successful. The purpose of the mission was to deliver the next-generation Acadia satellite for Capella Space to a circular orbit above the Earth at 640 km (400 miles), which was executed flawlessly. Acadia is part of Capella’s synthetic aperture radar (SAR) constellation and is the first of four Acadia satellites that Rocket is currently contracted to launch for Capella. “We’ve been a trusted launch partner to Capella since 2020 and we’re delighted to deliver mission success once again,” Rocket Lab CEO and Founder, Peter Beck, said in an official statement. “Electron has played a crucial role in helping constellation operators like Capella deploy their spacecraft on time and on target, and we look forward to continuing building out Capella’s constellation with more dedicated launches this year.” After the successful launch, Rocket Lab crews successfully recovered the Electron first stage booster from the Pacific Ocean once it parachuted down upon stage separation. This marked the sixth time Rocket lab successfully recovered a booster from the ocean, and the third successful recovery in 2023. Rocket Lab has only attempted booster recoveries a handful of times, but this looks to be increasing since they’ve had three booster recoveries out of three attempts this year. The goal of booster recoveries is to enhance rocket reusability with the goal of decreasing launch costs. Along with increasing reusability of the Electron rocket, this latest mission also marked the first time Rocket Lab attempted to reuse one of its 3D-printed Rutherford engines, which performed flawlessly with the rest of Electron’s nine first stage Rutherford engines. Rocket Lab posted an image of the nine engines prior to launch on their X account (previously known as Twitter), with the reused engine standing out from the rest due to its darker color. However, Peter Beck’s private rocket company is currently working on the upgraded, and fully-reusable, Neutron rocket capable of listing up to 15,000 kilograms (33,000 pounds) to low Earth orbit depending on the launch configuration. For context, Electron can only launch a maximum 300 kilograms (660 pounds) to low Earth orbit and is only partially-reusable, as previously noted. Like Electron, Neutron will use nine first stage engines but called Archimedes, and they’ll be capable of much greater lift-off thrust. Chapter 17 - Christmas Day 2020, Part 2

(December 25, 2020 – 8:45am)

Bonnie immediately got two of her limousines together and, with Tightlips and 10 of her servants, headed out of her mansion. Following them was a truck that carried the five surplus turkeys.

Their first stop on the new Bonnie tour was Kim and Ron's house.

Bonnie was wearing her Club Banana dark denim overalls that she wore in her senior year of high school with a red and green cropped sweater from Country CB that she bought many years ago on one of her shopping excursions with Junior. She combined this with a couple gold necklaces and a couple of gold bracelets as well, followed with her with her fancy gold watch from Country CB. She completed the outfit with brown boots as well as a long pink trenchcoat to keep Bonnie warm.

The other servants were keeping warm as well through their coats and gloves.

To Bonnie's own surprise, the overalls were in very good condition and that they were still quite roomy for her. But the thing that astonished the servants even more was that she was wearing the overalls...with both hooks fastened to the buttons on the bib. In her senior year of high school, she normally wore them like the others with both straps unfasted with a belt to hold them up to prevent any Stoppable incidents.

"But, Your Majesty, why did you choose that pair?" Tightlips asked. "You always tended to go for the ones with the buckles even 'accidentally' showed off your thong underwear during an interview and got fined $200,000 by the FCC a couple weeks ago! "

"Duh, Tightlips. This was the only pair out of 20 that did not have the buckles manipulated." Bonnie replied, "And trust me, I do not want an indecent exposure charge ito add to my rap sheet!"

"Point taken." Tightlips admitted before looking out the limo window.

"Hey, I think I see some people!" he exclaimed.

Bonnie also looked out the window.

"I recognize those people!" she shouted, "They're the carolers in those old-timey clothes! Chauffeur, and open the sunroof! I'm going to get the bullhorn"

The chauffeur obeyed and opened the sun roof.

There were indeed two of the 20 carolers that came to the Rockwaller mansion a couple of years ago that were pelted by produce and fruit. Their SUV was stranded on the exit interchange to the Rockwaller Mansion of Interstate 70 because they ran out of gas. Both of the stranded carolers were female.

"If you would've stopped at the Dinoco 15 minutes earlier, this would not have happened!" the first caroler argued.

"Says the person who decided to waste gas by nearly getting us lost in the eastern part of Colorado and nearly getting us killed at Sketchville!" the second caroler retorted.

Then they saw the familiar pink limousines coming up the on-ramp.

"Oh goody, look who it is!" the first caroler snarked.

"If it isn't Bonnie Rockwaller coming to torment us!" the second caroler growled. "Maybe she got her German shepherds to use our clothes as their chew toys!"

Bonnie took a police bullhorn, and got through the sunroof.

"Hey, you two!" she called through the bullhorn.

"What's it to you, Rockwaller? Are you going to have your servants throw snowballs at us?" the first caroler taunted.

"Or have your army of German Shepherds strip us to our undergarments?" the second caroler chimed in.

"Actually, do you two need any help?" Bonnie asked politely. "It is the spirit of the season affter all!"

The two carolers weren't certain.

"Are you serious about this, Rockwaller?" the first caroler asked.

All Bonnie had to do was quote a famed Stoppable.

"Note serious face!" Bonnie replied with determination, "Tightlips, do you have any emergency gas canisters?"

"We have two in the truck!" Tightlips called from the limo.

"Give one of them to the carolers." Bonnie ordered before turning back to the carolers. "There should be a Dinoco about three miles over at the next interchange!"

"But how can we pay for the gas?" the first caroler asked.

"We maxed out on both of our credit cards on Christmas Eve !" the second caroler added. "Spent around $7,000 apiece."

"I'll give ya $100 for the gas...and will deposit $10,000...no...$50,000 of my own money, and not a penny more, to your account at the bank so that you can pay it off!" Bonnie exclaimed.

The two carolers saw the look on Bonnie's face and realized that she was not kidding at all. She had indeed changed from the cold woman that pelted them with rotten eggs a few years ago at her mansion.

"Why...why thank you!" the second caroler exclaimed. "And a Merry Christmas to you too, Bonnie!"

"And Merry Christmas to you too!" Bonnie responded in kind to the carolers.

"So what do we do now?" the first caroler asked, convinced that Bonnie had turned over a new leaf.

"Once you fill your vehicle with gas, follow me to the Possible-Stoppable house!" Bonnie insisted.

1. Anime/Manga/Light Novels: Ever since I was in the 5th grade and playing around the house with my friend who then introduced me to the anime Inuyasha on Adult Swim I have always comfort and joy in those. (This was when I was 12 years old btw.)

2. Pepperoni/ Little Man: In 2020 on Nov 1st my sister called me at 3:30am on FaceTime and held up a very cold wet screaming kitten to the phone and said I've quote " I don't do the baby ones, come get now." So now I'm driving to on city over at 3:45am in flood season here to get my baby that I've had going on 4 years in Nov.

3. Luna My Car: (Important note here is my car I've had since 2010 when I graduated high school. She is a 2002 Chevy Malibu white.) She still runs I still got her she is mine that how my grandfather taught me.

4. My Inherited Home: Look I know some will call me spoiled but I don't care I've heard worse since my grandfathers passing in 2022.

I've lived here for 29 years on my 32 year old life.

If you believe in common sense you'd understand why I inherited it.

My grandfather new his time was limited when he was diagnosed with end stage renal disease and had a heart attack in 2021.

But thats not even what killed him.

He had a stroke on August 21st 2022.

He died August 28th 2022.

He got his affairs in order to keep any of his children from taking my home from me.

I pay my bills ( currently the water is shut off due to the water heater busting in the middle of the night got a 771 dollar bill I can't afford 😱) I try my best as he taught me.

But I love my home as it always has been.
