All-New 2025 Ford Fusion Sedan Exclusive Review
Tumblr media
With sedan sales plummeting and SUV sales soaring, Ford could combine the two vehicle sectors by reviving the Fusion nameplate for an all-new crossover-style station wagon. Unfortunately, the project was never completed. If Ford decides to move forward with this project, the Fusion Active will target the Subaru Outback. This suggests that the Fusion Active will have all-wheel drive, plastic body lining and a higher ride height. There is also a report accessible on Ford USA Cars Media Online on the 2024 Ford Fusion Sedan Exclusive that both hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains will be available.
The Ford Fusion, which was discontinued after the 2020 model year, may have been reinvented as a raised station wagon to better fit the brand's portfolio of nearly all SUVs. We've only seen spy pictures, and Ford never introduced such a car in the United States.
Price
The 2023 Ford Fusion Active is expected to cost between $35,000 to $41,000, depending on trim and options. When it goes into production, the Fusion Active will cost around $35,000. We don't know what trim levels will be offered, but we're confident they'll be consistent with other Ford models of the period.
SE$35,000 (estimated). SEL $38,000 (est.). Titanium costs $41,000 (estimated).
Engine, Transmission and Performance
We can only guess about the Fusion Active's engine and transmission options because there are no official details yet. We can almost guarantee that all-wheel drive will be available. There are also reports that Ford will offer hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains for the wagon. These two electrical installations may be identical or comparable to the installation that powers the Escape small crossover. This requires a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine combined with two electric motors. The Fusion Active could potentially receive the Escape's 250-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.
Interior, Comfort and Cargo
The Fusion Active's prospective interior design, passenger space and trunk volume are completely unknown. We expect it to look similar to Ford models at the time, such as the electric Mustang Mach-E crossover and mid-size Explorer SUV. These models show that the Fusion will have a fully digital gauge cluster, a vertically oriented center screen, and customizable internal storage. We also anticipate that the Fusion Active will offer a comfortable rear seat and ample cargo space to compete with the Outback.
entertainment and connectivity
The Ford Sync infotainment system will be available on the Fusion Active. We expect a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Likewise, built-in navigation and Wi-Fi hotspot will be among the alternatives.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features Ford never specified what driver assistance technology would be available in the station wagon, but we expect automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and lane keeping assist. It makes sense that the Fusion Active has Ford's BlueCruise hands-free highway driving mode as an option. Key safety elements may include:
Standard automatic emergency braking. Standard lane departure warning with lane keep assist. Available adaptive cruise control with hands-free driving mode.

The Best Movies on Netflix in India [February 2020]
Tumblr media
In its efforts to win Oscars and please its 167 million members, Netflix has been pouring billions into movies recently, including projects from or featuring the likes of Dwayne Johnson, Martin Scorsese, and Michael Bay. One of those — The Irishman — racked up 10 nominations for the streaming service at the 2020 Oscars, though it failed to come away with a single prize. Netflix has also expanded its film efforts in India in the past year, announcing projects from the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. For now though, the strength of its catalogue is still the acquisitions. With over 3,500 movies, Netflix offers more choices than any other platform in India. To pick the best movies on Netflix, we relied on Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, and IMDb ratings to create a shortlist. The last of them was preferred for Indian films given the shortfalls of reviews aggregators in that department. Additionally, we used our own editorial judgement to add or remove a few. This list will be updated once every few months if there are any worthy additions or if some movies are removed from the service, so bookmark this page and keep checking in. Here are the best films currently available on Netflix in India, sorted alphabetically. 12 Monkeys (1995) Inspired by the 1962 French short La Jetée, a prisoner (Bruce Willis) is sent back in time to learn more about the virus that wiped out nearly all of humanity. Terry Gilliam directs. 12 Years A Slave (2013) Duped into slavery on the account of a job, Steve McQueen's adaptation of a free New York black man's (Chiwetel Ejiofor) 19th-century memoir is an incredible true story, and an important watch. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) In Stanley Kubrick's highly-influential sci-fi film, humanity charts a course for Jupiter with the sentient computer HAL 9000, to understand the discovery of a black monolith affecting human evolution. It's less plot, and more a visual and aural experience.
Tumblr media
3 Idiots (2009) In this satire of the Indian education system's social pressures, two friends recount their college days and how their third long-lost musketeer (Aamir Khan) inspired them to think creatively and independently in a heavily-conformist world. Co-written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, who stands accused in the #MeToo movement. 50/50 (2011) Inspired by a true story, a 27-year-old radio journalist (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is diagnosed with spinal cancer and learns the value of friendship and love as he battles the rare disease. Aamir (2008) Adapted from the 2006 Filipino film Cavite, a young Muslim NRI doctor (Rajeev Khandelwal) returning from the UK to India is forced to comply with terrorists' demands to carry out a bombing in Mumbai after they threaten his family. American History X (1998) In a film that's more relevant today than when it was made, a neo-Nazi white supremacist (Edward Norton), who served three years in prison for voluntary manslaughter, tries to prevent his younger brother from going down the same path. American Hustle (2013) In the late 1970s, two con artists (Christian Bale and Amy Adams) are forced to work for an FBI agent (Bradley Cooper) and set up a sting operation that plans to bring down several corrupt politicians and members of the Mafia. Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Renner star alongside. Andaz Apna Apna (1994) Two slackers (Aamir Khan and Salman Khan) who belong to middle-class families vie for the affections of an heiress, and inadvertently become her protectors from a local gangster in Rajkumar Santoshi's cult comedy favourite. Andhadhun (2018) Inspired by the French short film L'Accordeur, this black comedy thriller is the story of a piano player (Ayushman Khurrana) who pretends to be visually-impaired and is caught in a web of twists and lies after he walks into a murder scene. Tabu, Radhika Apte star alongside. Apollo 13 (1995) Ron Howard dramatises the aborted Apollo 13 mission that put the astronauts in jeopardy after an on-board explosion ate up all the oxygen and forced NASA to abort and get the men home safely. Argo (2012) Ben Affleck directs and stars in this film about a CIA agent posing as a Hollywood producer scouting for location in Iran, in order to rescue six Americans during the US hostage crisis of 1979. Article 15 (2019) Ayushmann Khurrana plays a cop in this exploration of casteism, religious discrimination, and the current socio-political situation in India, which tracks a missing persons' case involving three teenage girls of a small village. A hard-hitting, well-made movie, though ironically, it was criticised for being casteist itself, and providing an outsider's perspective. The Avengers (2012) Earth's mightiest heroes — including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and the Hulk — come together in this groundbreaking Marvel team-up from writer-director Joss Whedon to stop Thor's adopted brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his alien army from subjugating mankind.
Tumblr media
The Aviator (2004) With Leonardo DiCaprio as Howard Hughes and Cate Blanchett as Katharine Hepburn, Martin Scorsese dives into the life of the aviation pioneer and film producer, who grapples with severe OCD while his fame grows. Awakenings (1990) Robin Williams and Robert De Niro lead the cast of this drama based on a 1973 memoir of the same name, about a doctor (Williams) who discovers the beneficial effects of a drug on catatonic patients, thereby gifting them a new lease on life. Barfi! (2012) Set in the 1970s amidst the hills of Darjeeling, writer-director Anurag Basu tells the tale of three people (Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and Ileana D'Cruz) as they learn to love while battling the notions held by society. Beasts of No Nation (2015) With civil war raging across a fictional African nation, this Netflix Original focuses on a young boy who's trained as a child soldier by a fierce warlord (Idris Elba), and the effects it has on him. Before Sunrise (1995) In the first chapter of Richard Linklater's long-drawn-out trilogy, two idealistic twentysomethings, an American man (Ethan Hawke) and a French woman (Julie Delpy), spend the night together walking around in the Austrian capital of Vienna. The Big Lebowski (1998) A guy known as The Dude (Jeff Bridges) seeks payback for his ruined carpet after he's mistaken for a millionaire with the same name in this crime comedy from the Coen brothers. Less about the plot and more about a way of living. The Big Short (2015) Starring Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt, a look at Wall Street's penchant for self-profit in a vicious loop that caused the 2007–08 global financial meltdown. Birdman (2014) Alejandro G. Iñárritu won three Oscars including Best Picture for this tale of a washed-up superhero actor (Michael Keaton) who struggles to revive his career with a Broadway play. Known for appearing as if it was shot in a single take, it also starred Edward Norton, Zach Galifianakis, and Emma Stone. Blade Runner (1982) One of the most influential cyberpunk films ever made is about a burnt-out cop (Harrison Ford) who reluctantly agrees to hunt down a group of fugitive “replicants”, synthetic humans with a limited life-span who aren't allowed to live on Earth. Blue Valentine (2010) Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams lead this drama that shifts between time periods to depict a couple's courtship and how their marriage fell apart. Das Boot (1981) One of the most authentic war movies ever made chronicles the life of a German submarine crew during World War II, as they go through long stretches of boredom and periods of intense conflict, while trying to maintain morale in a capsule 10 feet by 150 feet hundreds of metres under the surface. The Bourne trilogy (2002-07) Technically not a trilogy, but the first three chapters — Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum — starring Matt Damon in the lead as the titular CIA assassin suffering from amnesia were so good that they changed the longest-running spy franchise of all-time: James Bond.
Tumblr media
The Breadwinner (2017) This animated film follows a 11-year-old girl living under Taliban rule in Afghanistan, who disguises herself as a boy to provide for her family after the father is taken away without reason. Uses wonderfully-drawn vignettes to stress on the importance of storytelling. Bulbul Can Sing (2019) Three teenagers battle patriarchy and the moral police as they explore their sexual identities in Rima Das's National Award-winning drama — and pay for it dearly. Das writes, directs, shoots, edits, and handles costumes. C/o Kancharapalem (2018) Set in the eponymous Andhra Pradesh town, this Telugu film spans four love stories across religion, caste, and age — from a schoolboy to a middle-aged unmarried man. A debut for writer-director Venkatesh Maha, featuing a cast mostly made up of non-professional actors. Capernaum (2018) In the award-winning, highest-grossing Arabic film of all time, a 12-year-old from the slums of Beirut recounts his life leading up to a five-year sentence he's handed for stabbing someone, and in turn, his decision to sue his parents for child neglect. Hayao Miyazaki writes and directs. Chupke Chupke (1975) Hrishikesh Mukherjee's remake of the Bengali film Chhadmabeshi, in which a newly-wedded husband (Dharmendra) decides to play pranks on his wife's (Sharmila Tagore) supposedly smart brother-in-law. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan also star. A Clockwork Orange (1971) Set in a near-future dystopian Britain, writer-director Stanley Kubrick adapts Anthony Burgess' novel of the same name, commenting on juvenile delinquency through the eyes of a small gang leader who enjoys "a bit of the old ultra-violence". Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) Steven Spielberg's slow-paced sci-fi pic — which spent several years in development, being rewritten over and over — is about an everyday blue-collar guy (Richard Dreyfuss) whose humdrum life turns upside down after an encounter with an unidentified flying object (UFO).
Tumblr media

The Dark Knight (2008) In the second part of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, regarded as the greatest comic book movie ever, Batman (Christian Bale) faces a villain, the Joker (Heath Ledger), he doesn't understand, and must go through hell to save Gotham and its people. Dev.D (2009) Anurag Kashyap offers a modern-day reimagining of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's Bengali romance classic Devdas, in which a man (Abhay Deol), having broken up with his childhood sweetheart, finds refuge in alcohol and drugs, before falling for a prostitute (Kalki Koechlin). Dheepan (2015) Winner of Cannes' top prize, three Sri Lankan refugees — including a Tamil Tiger soldier — pretend to be a family to gain asylum in France, where they soon realise that life isn't very different in the rough neighbourhoods. Dil Chahta Hai (2001) Farhan Akhtar's directorial debut about three inseparable childhood friends whose wildly different approach to relationships creates a strain on their friendship remains a cult favourite. Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta star. Django Unchained (2012) Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, a German bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) helps a freed slave (Jamie Foxx) rescue his wife from a charming but cruel plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio). Drive (2011) A stuntman moonlighting as a getaway driver (Ryan Gosling) grows fond of his neighbour and her young son, and then takes part in a botched heist to protect them from the debt-ridden husband.
Tumblr media
Dunkirk (2017) Christopher Nolan's first historical war movie chronicles the evacuation of Allied soldiers from the French beaches of Dunkirk in World War II, using his love for non-linear storytelling by depicting three fronts — land, sea, and air — in time-shifted ways. The Edge of Seventeen (2016) In this coming-of-age comedy, the life of an awkward young woman (Hailee Steinfeld) gets more complex after her older brother starts dating her best friend, though she finds solace in an unexpected friendship and a teacher-slash-mentor (Woody Harrelson). End of Watch (2012) Before he made a terrible sci-fi remake of his own film, writer-director David Ayer took a near-documentarian lens to the day-to-day police work of two partners (Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña) in South Los Angeles, involving their friendship and dealings with criminal elements. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) An estranged couple (Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet) begin a new relationship unaware they dated previously, having erased each other from their memories, in what stands as writer Charlie Kaufman's defining work. The Exorcist (1973) One of the greatest horror films of all time, that has left a lasting influence on the genre and beyond, is about the demonic possession of a 12-year-old girl and her mother's attempts to save her with the help of two priests who perform exorcisms. The Florida Project (2017) Set in the shadow of Disney World, a precocious six-year-old girl (Brooklynn Prince) makes the most of her summer with her ragtag playmates, while her rebellious mother tries to make ends meet with the spectre of homelessness always hanging over them. Tumblr media
John Wick (2014) In the first part of what is now a series, a former hitman (Keanu Reeves) exits retirement to find and kill those that stole his car and killed his dog. Less story, more action, with the filmmakers drawing on anime, Hong Kong action cinema, Spaghetti Westerns, and French crime dramas. Jurassic Park (1993) It might be over 25 years old at this point but watching the very first Jurassic film from Steven Spielberg — based on Michael Crichton's novel, which he co-adapted — is a great way to remind yourself why the new series, Jurassic World, has no idea why it's doing. Kahaani (2012) A pregnant woman (Vidya Balan) travels from London to Kolkata to search for her missing husband in writer-director Sujoy Ghosh's National Award-winning mystery thriller, battling sexism and a cover-up along the way. Khosla Ka Ghosla! (2006) After a powerful property dealer (Boman Irani) holds a middle-class, middle-aged man's (Anupam Kher) newly-purchased property to ransom, his son and his son's friends devise a plot to dupe the swindling squatter and pay him back with his own money. Dibakar Banerjee's directorial debut. Why the Chiefs can win the Super Bowl, and why the 49ers can
Tumblr media
The Super Bowl matchup is set, and Geoff Schwartz identifies one reason to believe in each team.
Wow, folks. I’m emotional. This is awesome. For those who don’t know, my brother, Mitchell Schwartz, is the starting right tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs. And he’s now in the Super Bowl. How cool. I’m so happy for him and for his team.
The Chiefs face off against a very complete San Francisco 49ers team. They are a beast. This is an exciting contest that either team can win, as evidenced by the early line, which opened with the Chiefs as a 1.5-point favorite.
At quick glance, let’s explore why each team will win.
Why the Chiefs can win: They have the best player on the planet
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is coming off a marvelous game against the Titans, going 23 of 35 for 294 yards and three touchdowns, along with a team-high 53 rushing yards and another touchdown. Mahomes saw the field from the start, and the Titans attempted to play a ton of zone coverage and drop eight when they could. They even put a spy on Mahomes, and it did little to affect him.
When no one was initially open, he’d move out of the pocket, avoid the spy, and find someone down the field (he dealt with multiple drops throughout the game as well). When no one was open, he’d use his legs to get yards.
The biggest moment of the game happened before the end of the first half. The Chiefs scored to cut the Titans’ lead to 17-14. The Titans got the ball back with roughly four minutes in the second quarter and needed a drive before the half to extend their lead, as the Chiefs had the ball out of the half. The Titans went three-and-out, but they had a good punt and it appeared they might’ve won the drive.
But nope, Mahomes drove the Chiefs down the field and then made the play of the game.
FLEX ON 'EM @PatrickMahomes just did THAT. #ChiefsKingdom #NFLPlayoffs : #TENvsKC on CBS : NFL app // Yahoo Sports app Watch free on mobile: https://t.co/x5sQRf24XS pic.twitter.com/o47eSpCcr4
— NFL (@NFL) January 19, 2020
Just ripped the soul from the Titans before the end of the half to put the Chiefs up for good.
These are the plays that make him special. He’s so big in those moments when his team needs him. Mahomes is now 3-1 in playoff games with 11 passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, and no turnovers. The Kansas City offense has way too many weapons to stop when Mahomes is dealing. He would be the reason the Chiefs win the Super Bowl.
Why the 49ers can win: Their pass rush is dangerous
The 49ers are the more complete team. We can talk about their offense, which was awesome again against the Packers. Jimmy Garoppolo only attempted eight passes (lol), but the Niners rushed for 285 yards and put this game away early. Their offense will be valuable in the Super Bowl, and coach Kyle Shanahan will work his usual magic.
But, the Niners will win this game for another reason. That reason Is their pass rush, which MUST be elite against the Chiefs. Early in the Chiefs-Titans game, the Titans were able to get some pressure up the middle, and it made Mahomes uncomfortable. The Niners will need that to happen. And they have the players to get it done, with a defensive line that boasts five former first-round picks (Nick Bosa, DeForest Buckner, Arik Armstead, Solomon Thomas, and Dee Ford). The San Francisco defense has gotten nine sacks through two playoff games.
In the Super Bowl, they will have some favorable matchups, especially inside. The Chiefs’ weaknesses on their OL, which was outstanding Sunday, is inside and the Niners have Armstead and Buckner who can create issues when left with one-on-one matchups.
The 49ers will need to create pressure to stop the Chiefs’ offense. I do not believe their pass defense can hold if they don’t get that done.
The big game will be here in two weeks. I’ll be in the stands and just can’t wait for it to all start.

Obviously, these 2 designs share a lot of styling functions, such as fronts lights, yet additionally that ingenious C2 modular system that will be lighter in weight. As a matter of fact, the C2 system was first seen in 2019 Explorer. Nonetheless, bigger measurements of the 2021 Kuga are most likely the first thing that the followers will discover. Specifically, the brand-new Kuga will be substantially larger than its precursor, however, the spy pictures can not disclose whether we need to anticipate the 3rd row or potentially simply a larger freight location. Inside the 2021 Ford Kuga, attributes, as well as general layout, can once more be contrasted to a few other Ford’s versions. Nevertheless, its cabin appears mainly Focus-inspired. Because of its bigger measurements that we have actually currently stated, there will be a lot of clearance and also legroom for its travelers. Likewise, the firm will boost the products and also general layout and also convenience. The control panel will reveal some trendy and also contemporary appearance with great deals of state-of-the-art updates, however, it appears that the brand-new Kuga will give among the tiniest infomercial displays in its course. Nonetheless, it will supply attributes and also connection alternatives such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB ports, Apple Automobile Play as well as Android Automobile. The previous version has actually been recognized for its loud cabin as well as the absence of innovative safety and security innovations as common so we really hope that the upcoming Kuga will fix these troubles efficiently.
Power & Engine System

Ford has actually most definitely chosen to present even more crossbreeds and also plug-in crossbreeds in complying with years. 25 Feb 2020: What if a convenience store was a place to waste time? Supply chains & coronavirus. Digital culture & hiring.
Hello, this is the Co-op Digital newsletter - it looks at what's happening in the internet/digital world and how it's relevant to the Co-op, to retail businesses, and most importantly to people, communities and society. Thank you for reading - send ideas and feedback to @rod on Twitter. Please tell a friend about it!

What if a convenience store was a place to waste time?
Amazon’s next grocery shop format looks… quite conventional? None of the “just walk out” checkoutless technology seen in Amazon’s Go stores, but there will be digital shelf labels, and an area for order pickup (by customers and delivery partners) and returns. So perhaps this grocery store experiment is about where logistics meets digital.
You might think of retail changing along the dimensions of speed and visibility. Speed: Amazon makes things a bit slower (you have to wait a day or so). Convenience stores make things faster (the store is on your way home, and you’re in there for 5 minutes). Mobile phones make everything faster (immediate purchase) and slower (delivery the day after tomorrow).
Visibility: high street retail presents goods in your eye line. Ecommerce hides everything from you except the advertising call to action, the digital shopfront and the delivery person. And Argos moves the inventory out the back so they can stock a wider range.
Maybe shops could do both hidden and visible or both fast and slow at once: could you have a convenience store that also sold services, even if purchasing them took advice and time for consideration? Or could there be convenience shops that you wanted to waste some time in?
Supply chains and coronavirus
The COVID-19 coronavirus has two effects on retail. If the retailer has stores in China, you can assume they’re currently doing poorly. More importantly, if the retailer’s supply chain has production in China they’re also affected, or will be soon. And if you sell digital services, the effect is further delayed: bits aren’t made in China but the servers and circuit boards the bits need probably are.
“The city is essentially on the economic equivalent of life support – the only things that’re open are convenience stores, grocery stores, and pharmacies” - What the coronavirus forcing me in lockdown's taught me about cooking (nb has some salty language. And there’s a follow-up interview if you liked that.)
Satellite images show how coronavirus brought Wuhan to a standstill - emptied city.
An online course: COVID-19: Tackling the Novel Coronavirus.
Culture at scale and hiring digital teams
Scaling startups: How Monzo are evolving their culture - a good watch.
But How Monzo hire product designers doesn’t seem so good: asking applicants to “design an app for a buttonless oven” constrains the hiring pool to those who can easily afford to set aside the time to work on it. Perhaps the hiring challenge is a trick - maybe they’re hoping applicants will push back and say “Hmm, doesn’t sound safe or easy to use - show me the user research, and have we thought about how we’d deal with all of the unintended consequences, like how you turn it off quickly if your hands are all foody, or how you pair the oven and the app safely, or what happens when your phone runs out of battery after you switched the oven on, or how your care worker can use the oven when they pop round to help you, or...” (If a reader sends the newsletter Monzo’s “design brief” for the oven, maybe we’ll find out.)
Ctrl-V for Larry Tesler
If you have ever copied and pasted, you can thank Larry Tesler, the computer scientist who invented them at Xerox Parc. He has died, and your ctrl-cs and ctrl-vs pay him tribute. How much time has been saved with copying and pasting?
Tesler also gave us a great law about software design, the law of conservation of complexity, in which every application has “an inherent amount of complexity that cannot be removed or hidden. Instead, it must be dealt with, either in product development or in user interaction. This poses the question of who should be exposed to the complexity.” While the idea had its critics, it is a useful way of thinking about systems as well as software. Where in this business or service should the complexity be moved to, that the greatest benefit can result? Where are the unintended consequences likely to be hiding, and what can we do about them?
Co-op membership password checks
An interesting question on Twitter about Co-op’s security: no, Co-op hadn’t been hacked, and yes, Co-op is doing something clever: when you login or create an account, “we check whether the password you are using appears in any lists of "known" passwords”, and here is more technical detail about why that check is safe. (Beloved readers, you are encouraged to use a password manager to store unique passwords for each service, and protect important email addresses with a strong password!)
Other news
“Q4 19 results which showed a 33% decline in revenues YoY driven by a 36% decline in customers. In this kind of business, this is a death sentence and HelloFresh is slowly but surely choking the life out of Blue Apron.” - mealkitco Blue Apron is really struggling.
“In other words, a couple of clicks in a bank's spreadsheet caused the biggest fluctuation in Britain's trade figures in modern history. At least that's the most plausible explanation. Tho it raises further questions: why? Is the bank in trouble? And who owns the gold anyway?”
“today in sharing economy struggles: our app powered car rental lost cell service on the side of a mountain in rural California and now I live here I guess” - when services don’t consider the (obvious) edge cases.
Here is a slide from a BP presentation, but the newsletter isn’t quite sure what it is telling us, maybe it is that BP’s *processes* for extracting oil and gas will get closer to carbon net zero? That’s great, thanks BP.

Everything We Know About the 2021 Ford Bronco PT. III: Final edition before reveal via /r/cars
Everything We Know About the 2021 Ford Bronco PT. III: Final edition before reveal
So with the Bronco unveil fast-approaching, I felt with recent information we should probably have one last thread about what to expect before the official unveil. (Timelines for that range between end of this year to the beginning of next year, so less than 6 months away!) Some of this is speculation, but I've only included the stuff that I've read from trustworthy sources on the Forums and linked sources when possible. Everything about the year, and new frame development came from this post on the Forum which has a lot of info. We'll start off with looks:
These two pictures are the only two that exist of the Bronco... the top image being the SHADOW, not the orange Escape-Based Ford Maverick. Every other image you see is a made-up fan rendering or the old prototype from 15 years ago. Ford has been INCREDIBLY tight-lipped about what it's going to look like, it is a complete skunkworks project. A very select few certain dealers have been shown a finalized Bronco prototype and "Those in the room said the SUV has a retro design, featuring a rectangular grille, round headlights and the word “Bronco” stamped across the front." A poster on the Bronco6g forum also just purported that "If you like the first-gen 1966-1977 Bronco you will not be disappointed. Rugged and retro is an understatement, it looks amazing and the Wrangler better be on high alert."
It will be a 2021 model year, not 2020. It was apparently never intended to be a 2020 model year, just that it was DEBUTING in 2020. The first ones will be rolling off the assembly line in late 2020 and in showrooms in early 2021. It was originally intended for a summer 2020 debut but it has been delayed a few months. The reason it seems so long is that UAW revealed the Bronco returning probably 2 years before Ford wanted to reveal it. Hence why it seems like such a long wait.
It will have V6 EcoBoost and 4 cylinder EcoBoost options. The hybrid system will likely be similar to the new Explorer, which offers pretty good performance with a 6 cylinder NA engine. Bronco may get a 4-cylinder with that hybrid system? This really isn't known. But a hybrid is guaranteed.
It will be the debut of the next-gen ranger platform. I think most people had thought prior to this new information that it was going to be on the T6 ranger platform, however, it sounds like the T6 cannot fit a V6 which is why they are debuting the new platform with the Bronco! So really the next-gen ranger will be based on the Bronco platform :)
The forum post confirms that it will have a 7-speed manual transmission, along with Jalopnik having an article about it... and also some new info that was in an article about the electric mustang crossover. Dave states that part of the "Ford Icon" program (Mustang, raptor, Bronco) they do intend to keep manual transmissions as a part of that legacy; I can only assume that's a hint towards the Bronco getting one!
It is going to have some serious off-road chops. It is not going to be a shitty crossover, it is going to be body on frame, with rear wheel drive, a real transfer case, and differential lockers. They are going to be trying to "Reclaim their rightful place as the off-road vehicle leader." which is a direct quote. Apparently they have been testing wrangler rubicons and are gunning for it in regards to performance off-road. This is supported by the test mule sporting 33” tires just like the wrangler rubicon, which is pretty darn big for a stock tire. In addition, It will have Dana axles however there has not yet been a leak about whether it will be solid front and rear or independent front/ solid rear. There were apparently prototypes for both, but I've heard whispers that it will be a solid front axle. Nothing to bet the mortgage on but a glimmer of hope for sure.
There will be both a 2-door and a 4-door. This is confirmed, the Ford-released picture is of the 2-door. We have also seen test mules for both 2 and 4 door.
It will have a removable roof and doors. This article also states that the bronco will have removable doors that fit in the cargo area, and that the mirrors don’t come off. Pretty sweet! Now we get into a bit of the speculative with this part... Ford has filed a LOT of patents that could relate to the Bronco. From quick-release doors and bumpers, to built-in tube doors with airbags, there is a lot. A lot of it will likely not come to fruition, but it sure shows they are thinking outside the box with this one! I'll link some of the patent articles here:
https://www.thedrive.com/news/29607/heres-every-removable-door-patent-ford-has-filed-ahead-of-the-2021-ford-bronco https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1124935_2020-porsche-taycan-2020-dodge-challenger-bugatti-chiron-this-week-s-top-photos https://www.autoblog.com/2019/04/02/ford-bronco-patent-application-roll-up-roof-canopy/
And last but not least... the debut. According to the Forums they just finalized the design in late 2018, and prototypes have been made with the final design and are being tested. They are under SUPER tight lock and key right now, with no spy shots allowed. Something that is detailed in the forum is that "spy shots" are 100% ok from the manufacturer, if they don't want people to see a vehicle then you won't see it. (Hence the Ford GT) So basically, Ford will not show it until they want to. Everything i've read has indicated prototypes will start showing up towards the end of the year with a possible EOY debut, or possibly early next year. Apparently there will be some teases leading up to the debut, but some Ford insiders have hinted it's coming sooner than we think.
If you can't tell. I'm excited.

Baldauf/SB-Medien Mercedes-Benz has redesigned its GLE, and the SUV is now bigger and bolder than ever. The increase in size has made it possible to bring back a third row, but thankfully this hasn’t upset the dynamics. This is still one of the comfiest SUVs on the market. Ford is almost ready to show us a redesigned Explorer, as the latest prototypes are wearing barely any camouflage gear. The new SUV will be one of the first models to ride on Ford’s next-generation platform for larger models. The platform will also appear in Lincoln’s revived Aviator due about the same time as the Explorer. Kia is giving the full-size sedan segment a second go with a redesigned K900. The price has been increased substantially with the redesign, but the new car is much improved over the soft and wallowy outgoing model. 2020 Ford Explorer Redesign, Release Date
2020 Ford Explorer Changes
2020 Ford Explorer
  2020 Ford Explorer
2020 Ford Explorer Review – The Ford Explorer is one of the best-selling SUVs in the United States and the most popular among families. It offers a very spacious cabin, an attractive design, and many modern features. In addition, it is also very good to drive and comes with an AWD system. There are also several engine options and IT offers better fuel economy compared to previous models. The new SUV Explorer was introduced at the Beijing 2018 Auto Show in China, but it was covered with a blue sheet. But despite the covers, we can conclude several updates and changes in the new Ford Explorer 2020.
First, the next Explorer will build on the new platform that is also used in the Lincoln Aviator. In addition, it will come with a reduced weight that will provide better fuel economy and performance. Visually, the new Ford will also be revised, but will still show the familiar square appearance. Under the hood, we are also planning updates and maybe the hybrid engine is available this time. In addition, the manufacturer also confirmed that the high-performance Explorer ST will also be offered.
  2020 Ford Explorer Design
The Ford Explorer 2020 will be based on the new Modular CD6, a rear-wheel-drive platform that is also compatible with the Lincoln Aviator SUV. In addition, the manufacturer will use more aluminum, which will reduce its weight and contribute to a better fuel economy.
The outer part of the new browser will be updated but will return with the same square aspect. The front panel will look smooth and the wheels will be larger than before and more rounded. He will have a shorter hood and will look more sporty. In the same way, the tailgate will also be more vertical.
Inside the cabin, it will maintain the same configuration of three-row seats and accommodate up to seven passengers. In addition, we could also see more improvements in technology.
  2020 Ford Explorer Spy
2020 Ford Explorer Engines and performance
The current version is available with 3 engines and we anticipate that the Ford Explorer 2020 must also provide the identical engines but updated. One is a 3.5-liter V6 capable of producing 290 horsepower and 255 pounds of torque. This unit is available in basic and XLT versions. With the front drive, you get 17/24 mpg while with AWD you have a power of 16 / 22mpg.
There is also a turbocharged 2.3-liter in-line engine that sits on the base, XLT, and limited molding. This engine has a power of 280 hp and a torque of 310 lb-ft. In terms of fuel economy, this engine gets 19/27 mpg connected to the front wheels, and the AWD version gets 18/25 mpg.
The last one is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. This is used in the Sport and Platinum models. It comes only with traction on wheels and has 16/22 mpg. All engines operate with a six-speed automatic transmission.
On the other hand, the new Explorer ST is also announced, which could replace the Sport version. However, we still do not have accurate information. In addition, it is very likely that the Explorer is also available with a hybrid engine.
Release date and price of the Ford Explorer 2020
The Ford Explorer 2020 is expected to be available in early 2019. The initial price is expected to be approximately $ 30,000, while the higher versions will reach $ 50,000.

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Specs, Changes, Redesign, and Price. Judging by the spy photos, the next generation of the Jeep’s three-row crossover SUV is on its way. We are talking about the upcoming 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This model should make its world premiere next year, at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The Fiat Chrysler car maker has finally given the much-needed redesign of the Grand Cherokee. The spy shots of this popular SUV show the new exterior styling. Precisely, the upcoming Jeep will look more conventional. The changes will include new headlamps, revised grille and some minor adjustments on the rear fascia. Inside, the Grand Cherokee is expected to remain pretty much unchanged. Under the hood, the Jeep should continue with the same engines as the current model which means that there will be several units available. The technology as well should be the same as in its forerunner.
Its main rivals will be Volkswagen Touareg, Land Rover Discovery. Ford Explorer and Toyota Forerunner.
2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee engines and performances
The new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be powered with several types of engines under its hood. Those will be the same units used by the outgoing model. The base engine will be a 3.6-liter V-6 with the output of 295 horsepower. The next will be a 5.7-liter V-8 unit which will be able to generate 360 horsepower. There will also be a 3.0-liter V-6 turbo diesel engine which will produce the torque of 420 pound-feet. The most powerful version will be a 6.4-liter V-8 drivetrain which will be capable of making 475 horses. All the engines will pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It will be available with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will use the supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine which will develop 707 hp and the torque of 645 pound-feet.
Design of exterior and interior
When it comes to exterior, the upcoming 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee will keep its recognizable look but it will feature more conventional appearance. For the 2021 model year, we can expect a redesign of the whole body, especially the front fascia. On the front, we will notice revised extended grille and new headlamps with LED daytime running lights. The front bumper will also be new. On the rear, there will be slightly restyled taillights.
Speaking of the interior design, the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee will most likely be the same as the current model. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable offering three rows of seats. Generally, the Grand Cherokee’s interior looks sophisticated and luxurious with quality materials including leather and soft plastics. The dashboard features an 8.4-inch touchscreen with infotainment system and a 7-inch digital cluster display. As for the equipment, some of the features will include navigation, Bluetooth, audio system, Uconnect voice command and so on.
Release date and price
The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee should be presented to the world sometime in the beginning of 2020. As for the pricing, there is still no any information. We assume that it should be slightly higher than the price of its predecessor.
