To satisfy our own sexual desire – it can be one reason to drive ourselves to creation. Whatever we may create however, we will have to overcome such desire to complete it, I guess. If we stop after we are sexually satisfied, we would need to change the style to get involved in creation?

19/09/28 くもり 寝ても寝ても夢にうなされて飛び起きる。仕事は楽しい。やるべきことは明確だし、やり方もだいたい見えているし、何より一人ではないから。やればやるだけ前に進めるのは楽。だけど頭の中が目の前の課題とその解決策で常にいっぱいだと、気づかぬうちに息ができなくなっていく。昨日は転がり込むように新幹線に乗り込んで、慌ただしく北に向かった。つかれた顔をしているね、と心配してくれたその人の顔も、しっかりと疲労の色を見せていて、お互い様だった。 数年前に波にさらわれた街に向かう。真新しい建物が思いのほか多いのは、その地に元々あったものが無くなってしまったからだということに、少し考えなければ気づけなかった。通りを抜けて、川辺に腰を下ろす。海が近いからか、潮の香りがする。カラスの鳴き声と、橋を渡るバスの振動が、水底に沈んでいく。想像すらできないほどの苦痛がこの地には染み込んでいるのだということを、日々の中ではいとも簡単に忘れる。今日も平気で生きていることに、一抹の罪悪感を覚える。それでも生きていかないといけないから、せめて何かを、と思う。 橙に縁どられた姿に向かって、シャッターを切る。あなたが撮った写真の中では本物よりも美しく存在できる、ということを言われたことがある。ゼロから何かを生み出す力は私には無いから、それはたしかにそこにあることの証明。あなたが美しいだけ。私はそれを、あの手この手で写し取っているだけ。
