My motivation has been superrrr lowww for RR stuff lately and i originally wasnt going to do this contest

But i did it out of spite of art block

Dali's "The Persistence of Memory".

I'll be honest, this one is a tough one for me.

Usually I enjoy droopy goopy aspects in works. I do love the tones and colors. I love the implications of decay here with the clocks melting, the figure in the middle, the ants on the orange clock (?). I do love some swarming bugs in art. They thread the needle on grotesque and alluring for me.

However this one just feels so bland in all of these aspects for me. Simultaneously there is too much and too little going on. The edges of the figures are far too sharp for me too despite how they melt. Also the middle figure just vexes me too much, an un-erotic sort of bafflement.

0/10, not for me. I think it's just too pervasive culturally. I've seen it on too many classroom walls.

However!

Do you know about the Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory?

Despite sharing many similar qualities, I must prefer this one! The way everything falls apart, reality crumbling around us. The familiar is made something new. Melting clocks slip below the ground that fractures apart. And it does not fracture as we expect solid stone to, but instead in bricks! The dead fish too! The organic loo the figure in the middle now takes, semi-translucent.

Still, explanation evades me, but I like it a great deal more. 5/10

The kind of movie that requires a very specific audience. If you want to see Bela Lugosi in a contrived revenge murder plot involving aftershave and a scientifically giant bat, this is the movie for you. However, if you don’t like fun I’m sure you can google “Elevated horror” and watch whatever drivel comes up.

Hello user PriceAndAdvice! I rate thine Security a modest 5 out of ten, this is due to the lack of detail within the cameras themselves and my own lack of understanding of their support and movement capability. I like the over all aesthetic of this here creature, i certainly would assume thy are friendly.

all in all i forget that incredibox has a community now- i remember making silly beats on it almost 10 years ago! the whole sprunki stuff i cool, and i love seeing everyones mods and oc's for it. This guy is pretty neat :3

ok so this one requires a bit of context.

so, i had a dream where there was a new art trend on the internet.

basically, people would draw a chick and a fish, and caption it "that's chick and that's fish." because those are their names. but you had to draw them like this.

chick had to be a circle with two little stick legs, and fish had to be a circle with a triangle for a tail. you could not draw them any other way.

this does not leave a lot of room for variation or artist interpretation. but for some reason this went absolutely viral. everyone was drawing fish and chick.

so in that dream i decided to join in the trend, and make fish and chick my monsters for two days. i posted one monster called "that's chick", and then the next day i reblogged it with the next monster, named "that's fish".

so!
