The thing about the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest is that they say it awards bad openings, but it is, let's be honest, mostly about making it funny. Yes, the entries have to be a bit florid, have no consistent tone even within one sentence, and you can't describe a character in a way that even approaches "normal", but it has to be bad in a distinctly entertaining way

Here's mine when I first got it back in 2019! I had no idea that there was a hamtaro revival going on at the time, and this plushie pulled me right back into my childhood obsession!

oreo cheesecakes are very expensive but!! they're also really easy to make. if you ever have the time and a little extra money to get the stuff for them, you should give it a try! I personally think they taste better when you make them yourself too! but that may just be bc I'm poor too and not paying a lot for something just makes everything seem better lmao

Unfortunately oreos here are very expensive too, but we do have a local oreo substitute that works well enough! But cream cheese is also very expensive :))))) Obviously not as expensive as an entire cheesecake but at the same time too expensive to justify buying it to satisfy a craving so unfortunately I'm stuck here pining

there was this local toy convention that started up in 2018 and then uh. had to cancel in 2020, said they hoped to be back in 2021, then went silent for a couple years BUT!!! I looked it up just now and TURNS OUT they'll be back in September!!! fuck yeah!!!

this is a movie about toxic people so I don't care in the scheme of things but I've noticed audiences online have been skewing towards art as being the best of the three, sometimes completely innocent even, due to his passivity and suggestibility but he really is Not for the people I'll say that much!!!

also if we want to get into it I really don't think the movie stresses enough just how sick and inconsiderate it is for a 6-time grand slam winner to enter a challenger tournament just so he can feel better. by mowing down unseeded players fighting to qualify in an open. art and tashi are so embarrassingly out of touch
