Presentation expected next year The current eighth-generation Volkswagen Golf has been available since late 2019, but it took the Mk8 body almost two more years to reach the United States exclusively in GTI and R variants. New photos of the updated VW Golf, which is already being tested, have appeared on the Internet. [caption id="attachment_84738" align="aligncenter" width="780"] Volkswagen[/caption] The new Golf 8 facelift prototype is similar to the base version, which has received some new components. A new bumper is visible at the front, similar in shape to the bumper of the new VW Passat. While this prototype doesn't have camouflage, the bumper is covered in black and white tape that hides the more intricate design details. The headlights and DRLs are identical to the current model, but the production model's headlights may be redesigned. The Volkswagen Golf has never looked more like a Passat. New photos have appeared The rest of the Golf's exterior looks very familiar, with few noticeable differences between it and the current model. This prototype features a new set of taillights that are expected to include updated LED graphics, although this design is hidden by decals. [caption id="attachment_84739" align="aligncenter" width="780"] Volkswagen[/caption] While the exterior of the new model won't be much different from the previous one, the interior will be. The previously spotted prototype featured a large central touchscreen in the center of the dashboard, which was similar to that of the electric ID models, but was even larger and had slightly thinner bezels. The manufacturer is expected to make improvements to the existing range of mild hybrid engines, which includes 1.0 eTSI and 1.5 eTSI petrol units, as well as 2-liter diesel variants. [caption id="attachment_84740" align="aligncenter" width="780"] Volkswagen[/caption] Volkswagen is expected to introduce the updated Golf Variant next year.

First Look: The Volkswagen Touareg R - Plug-in Hybrid
Volkswagen is set to add a range-topping new premium model to its flagship Touareg line – the Touareg R. The versatile model’s 340 kW (462 PS) plug-in hybrid drive offers an innovative blend of superlative performance and electric efficiency. When the battery is sufficiently charged, the new SUV always starts in the all-electric E-MODE for zero emissions. The battery capacity is designed so that the Touareg R can cover the average daily commute under electric power. Like all Touareg models, the new R version comes with permanent all-wheel drive (4MOTION) as standard. 4MOTION and the powerful drive system (700 Nm of torque) means the Touareg R has also been homologated for a maximum trailer weight of 3.5 tonnes. The premium model can cope with this maxi- mum trailer weight even in E-MODE. As the first plug-in hybrid SUV in the world, the Touareg can also be fitted with the trailer maneuvering system Trailer Assist. And yet another first: the Touareg will be available with Travel Assist for the first time. The premium model will be the first Volkswagen to boast assisted driving (automatic longitudinal and lateral guidance) up to a speed of 250 km/h.
First R model with plug-in hybrid. The new flagship model was designed by the Volkswagen R performance brand, which traditionally develops the sportiest models in the Volkswagen range. The Touareg R represents a paradigm shift – it is the first Volkswagen R model to feature a plug-in hybrid drive. It is also the first time a hybrid model has been the most highly-powered Volkswagen. The extremely well appointed Touareg R, which features the Black Style exterior design package along with 20-inch alloy wheels & R-Line interior trim (including Vienna leather), is set to enter the market in the second half of 2020.
Intelligent electric performance. The Touareg R is the third plug-in hybrid model in Volkswagen’s European product line, following in the wheel-tracks of the Golf and Passat. The Touareg R is the first all-wheel drive model in Volkswagen’s PHEV range, and is also another milestone in the realignment of Volkswagen R that started in 2019. Jost Capito, managing director of the Group’s in-house performance brand, explains: “We are currently vigorously expanding the Volkswagen R range. Following the compact CUV models – T-Roc R1and T-Roc Cabriolet R-Line2 – Volkswagen R is introducing another sport utility vehicle within a very short space of time – the Touareg R, which has a quite unique position and unrivaled charisma.” The Touareg R is synonymous with a new and intelligent level of electric performance in segment of large touring SUVs.
Authentic, avant-garde, practical. Volkswagen R is responsible for the visual and technical configuration, and with it the conceptual direction of the new model. The Touareg R is based on the third generation of the product line launched in 2018, which in turn was an evolution of the model first introduced in 2002. All current Touareg models feature a dynamic and elegant design, maximum safety and long-distance comfort, state-of-the-art connectivity and a largely digitized cockpit. The overall concept is also designed with a high level of everyday usability in mind. Some 60% of all Touareg owners in Germany and 40% in Europe also use their SUV as a towing vehicle – remarkably high figures. The Touareg is often driven by sporty, active people who value the utmost safety, outstanding driving comfort, intuitive control and cutting-edge connectivity. The new Touareg R has been designed specifically for this extremely tech-savvy customer group. For the first time, they now have a performance model that can be driven temporarily in all-electric mode with zero local emissions. The new Touareg com- plies with the Euro 6d-TEMP-EVAP-ISC emission standard.
Extended powertrain range. The SUV product line is currently available with one turbocharged petrol engine (TSI) and three turbocharged diesel engines (TDI). The V6 TSI engine delivers a power output of 250 kW (340 PS)3. As a V6 TDI, the Touareg is available with two output levels: 170 kW (231 PS)4 and 210 kW (286 PS)5. The current most powerful Touareg is a V8 TDI with 310 kW (421 PS)6. Volkswagen is adding a range-topping model in the form of the new Touareg R.
Top R dynamic performance. As a typical Volkswagen R model, the Touareg R provides ultra-dynamic performance. Like at the touch of a button, the driver just has to press the accelerator to access the full output of the electric motor (100 kW/136 PS) and the turbocharged V6 petrol engine (250 kW/340 PS) as required. The two drive systems can then be combined in a boost function to use the vehicle’s dynamic reserves – for instance to over- take another vehicle quickly and safely – and to exploit the full system power of 340 kW (462 PS). The maximum system torque is 700 Nm.
All-wheel drive hybrid. The hybrid drive of the Touareg R essentially consists of a 2,995 cm3 V6 turbocharged petrol engine, the electric drive motor and a lithium-ion battery (energy capacity of 14.1 kWh) built into the luggage compartment underbody. The power electronics convert the direct current of the battery into alternating current for the electric drive motor. An 8- speed automatic gearbox (with Tiptronic) and a transfer box transmit power to the front and rear axles (4MOTION permanent all-wheel drive). A center differential lock with asymmetric dynamic torque distribution (Torsen traction) acts as a transfer box for the flow of forces between the front and rear axle. A maximum of 70% of the drive force reaches the front axle and up to 80% reaches the rear axle.
All-electric drive up to 140 km/h. When first started, the Touareg R uses only the electric motor if the battery is sufficiently charged. This ensures that the SUV comes as close to zero emissions as possible, especially on short journeys. This hybrid strategy also provides the greatest savings potential. The Touareg R can be driven in all-electric mode at a speed of up to 140 km/h; above this, the V6 TSI is activated automatically – or at any time using kickdown. The maximum speed of the SUV is electronically regulated at 250 km/h.

THE 10 BEST 2020 VEHICLES ACCORDING TO CAR AND DRIVER
Every year, Car and Driver magazine publishes its list of the 10 best vehicles of the year. For the 2020 vintage, you’ll find everything. Here are the 10 products identified as the best by the publication… with our little grain of salt.
1 — Chevrolet Corvette
With a revolution in configuration, it would have been surprising not to find the Chevrolet Corvette among the cars of the year. With the engine moving from the front to the center of the car, the entire handling of the car was changed, taking performance to a new level. And, as always with the model, the price compared to what you get is pretty fabulous.
The arrival of more sporty variants will also be something to watch out for, but we’re already talking about a classic.
2 — Honda Accord
The Honda Accord has always been a benchmark in its class. While it’s certainly been a great sedan for generations, it’s still an extraordinary sedan. Its style may not be universally acclaimed, but behind the wheel, it’s hard to take it for granted.
Its solid chassis allows for even sportier driving, although most buyers will prefer its comfortable side to its playful character. And when it comes to fuel consumption, it remains a benchmark. All it lacks is all-wheel drive to combat SUVs.
3 — Jeep Gladiator
Car and Driver makes an interesting analogy about the Jeep Gladiator in Rubicon version, mentioning that the latter is the off-road equivalent of a Chevrolet Corvette on a track.
The Gladiator pickup isn’t described as the best in its segment, but it’s certainly the most fun to drive. It can be transformed into a 4X4 to face the worst conditions or a convertible to enjoy the best days of summer. The availability of a manual transmission is also praised, a rarity in the industry today.
The model is expensive and the brand’s history of reliability is frightening, but the charm comes into its own when you get behind the wheel.
4 — Kia Telluride
There were skeptics when Kia and Hyundai showed up with the Telluride and Palisade full-size SUVs. In the first case, a simple touch with the vehicle is enough to understand why it’s been winning awards everywhere since its inception. This SUV offers space to spare, an incredible level of equipment for the price, and a frankly impressive degree of comfort and soundproofing.
Car and Driver goes so far as to say that this vehicle will take Kia to another level in the industry, just like the Lexus LS400 and Acura NSX did for their respective creators a little over 30 years ago. It’s advanced, but it shows just how impressed they were with this product.
For our part, without mentioning a revolutionary vehicle, we see the Telluride as a model that not only confirms Kia’s solid position in the market, but also shows us the brand’s full potential for the future.
5 — Mazda CX-5
Compact SUVs abound on the market, but when it comes to driving pleasure, none come close to the CX-5. That’s what Car and Driver points out in its analysis, and we tend to agree with that statement.
They also point out that the CX-5 is not the most powerful or spacious of its herd. An imperfect product, therefore, but whose charm works enough to make it a must in its category.
6 — Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman
When it comes to driving pleasure, few vehicles in the industry come close to what the Boxster/Cayman duo offers. Porsche is quietly turning to electrification, which makes these models still powered by future collectible combustion engines.
However, sales have been dropping in recent years, since the switch to a 4-cylinder engine with most variants. Nonetheless, the balance of the model and the feeling it delivers to the driver remain really special.
7 — Porsche Macan S/Turbo
This is true with the Boxster and also true in the world of SUVs, while the Macan offers a unique driving experience in its segment. Better yet, with the two new turbo engines introduced in 2019, performance has been pushed to a truly impressive level. We’re talking 348 horsepower for the S version, 434 for the turbocharged one.
Car and Driver doesn’t praise the 4-cylinder engine variant, as Porsche didn’t provide it with one. In this case, a similar experience can be found with Audi’s Q5, and at a lower price.
8 — Ram 1500
As we know, the Ram’s reputation for reliability is not the most enviable. However, when compared to its rivals when new, it’s hard not to rank it as the best of its kind. The level of comfort offered by this pickup is truly impressive, as is the richness of the interior presentation, which has no equal in the automotive world.
Ram offers both great luxury and great capacity with its Ram 1500, not to mention an engine family that offers something for every taste. Car and Driver goes further. It calls the Ram 1500 not only the best vehicle in its class, but also one of the best vehicles in the industry. It’s a bit of a stretch, but it shows just how seductive this vehicle is.
9 — Toyota Supra
With only 300 units reserved for Canada in the first year of production, we don’t see many Toyota Supra’s on the road. However, you can take Car and Driver’s word for it, it’s a really fun experience. You can feel BMW’s DNA when you guide this car on the road or on the track, but the design is a Japanese affair that doesn’t leave you indifferent.
With a base price that’s quite attractive considering the level of performance offered, driving enthusiasts have a lot to get their teeth into with this model.
10 — Volkswagen Golf GTI et Jetta GLI
The Volkswagen GTI is a regular in this kind of charts, but Car and Driver is adding the Jetta GLI this year, which undergoes similar treatment to what makes the Golf GTI so unique and fun. Having guided this car through twisty roads when it was launched last year, we can confirm that we’re in the presence of a perfectly balanced creation.
In both cases, you get the perfect compromise between comfort, practicality, performance and reasonable price. Models to discover, really.

2019’s Top Rides: Part 3/Buick Regal GS, Subaru Ascent and Golf R
By Michael Hozjan
Buick Regal GS AWD: Buick gets it right
At 12, I wanted to be a car designer. Fate however had different plans for me. With an eye for automotive design, I grew up loving Buicks; from the ’57 Special to the ’59 Invicta, with the ’64 Wildcat stealing my heart time and again. Cadillacs took a close second, Fords were ok but I found Chevs too feminine. Buicks, were masculine with broad shouldered front fenders and creased lines, personifying the designing cues of GM greats, Harley Earl and Bill Mitchell.
Then came the Riviera. One snowy December afternoon as I headed to my post office, there on St. Lawrence Boulevard, with six inches of snow on the ground sat a ’65 Riviera. My heart skipped several beats and I must have studied its lines for what seemed like an eternity.
Well into the ‘70s there were some noteworthy designs that came out of Buick’s design studios however, the last four decades have been anything but exciting. That has all changed with the launch of the Regal GS – the sexiest Buick to come out of Detroit in, well the last four decades.
The Grand Sport designation is nothing new to the Buick line up, having been associated with ‘70s era muscle cars but this is the first time that it has been used in a European sports sedan context. The stylish GS goes up against some well established rivals like the Acura TLX, Lexus ES, BMW 3 series and the like, a tough field to say the least. The Regal GS is more than just good looks, it’s a bona fide sports sedan. In fact a rebadged, German built, Opel Insignia, so the GS starts with the right genes. European engineered handling makes it the best tarmac gripping Buick ever.
Red Brembo brake calipers immediately tell everyone that this is not your typical Buick.
While different drive options/trim levels are available elsewhere around the globe, we Canucks get only one trim/drive option- also the most desirable one - the all-wheel-drive version motivated by the 310 horsepower DOHC, 3.6L V6 with variable valve timing punching out 282 lb-ft of torque through a 9-speed automatic.
Entry price is $44,045, my tester came with the Buick Experience Package ($3,495) that included the moonroof, a Bose premium 8-speaker sound system, wireless charging, an 8” touch screen, HD radio, LED leveling headlights, The Driver Confidence Package (yes you read that right) at $1,995 includes adaptive cruise, forward collision alert with automatic braking, lane keep assist, front pedestrian braking and heads up display. The Ebony Twilight Metallic paint was a premium option at $495.
The all-wheel-drive gets a torque vectoring rear axle, which only improves traction in slippery conditions and makes the Buick eat up the corners. Buick has also given us three driving modes to choose from, Touring, Sport and GS
Inside you’ve got one color choice, black. The supportive Recaros have a massage feature as well as being heated/cooled. Both driver’s and passenger seats have 14 adjustments to suit your body, including adjustable bolsters. Following with the German sport sedan traits, it includes a flat-bottomed steering wheel.
Rear seat passengers get ample legroom, but headroom is tight for taller occupants. With 30.cu.ft of space under the hatch with the rear seats up, with over 60 cu.ft with the rear seats folded, it betters many compact crossovers!
Is it perfect?
Non-functional air intakes in the front valance are mickey-mouse and a step backwards. Why not leave them open and help cool the brakes? No spare tire but a useless tire fix kit –that’ll help when you have a blow out or bend a wheel on Quebec’s pot holes. On the comical side, the audio system had mixed up the Cirius station numbers it’s 60s on 6 and not 660s on six….and the same could be said for 50s on 5 not 550s on 5, as well as 70s, 80s and 90s.
You can go through the gears manually with the console mounted shifter but paddle shifters would have been a nice touch to compliment the smooth 9-speed automatic.
Will the GS steal buyers away from BMW? I hardly doubt it but it does give of us a formidable option to keep our performance dollars with domestic manufacturers, and the GS buyer has nothing to be apologetic for.

Subaru Ascent: If at first you don’t succeed…
If you thought that Subaru already had a large SUV you’re right. The magic word here being had. The B9 Tribeca, later shortened to just Tribeca debuted in 2005 to, lets just say a less than stellar sales, and by 2014 had moved into the automotive history books of what once was.
It takes guts to admit that you were wrong, and it takes even big cojones to come back with a similar sized vehicle. Truth be told the SUV market has also changed over the last decade with SUVs growing increasingly larger, just like the population. Subaru appears to have been ahead of its time back in 2005 when 3-row SUV’s didn’t proliferate our roads, and minivans still reigned supreme for getting the platoon to school. But times have changed and so the new Ascent is the company’s answer to the latest trend.
The Ascent is also Subaru’s largest vehicle to date, with 142 mm longer wheelbase and 134 mm longer in length than the Tribeca, so yes passenger comfort has been greatly increased. The midsize SUV is built on the company’s Global Platform, a chassis that is easily adaptable; serving as the basis for everything from their Impreza and Crosstrek to the Ascent.
Available in four trim levels – Convenience, Touring, Limited and Premier - with the entry level 8-passenger Convenience starting at a meager $36,695. Regardless of trim, there’s a new 2.4L direct-injected, turbocharged boxer four cylinder dolling out 260 horses and 277 lb-ft of torque through the High-torque Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission).
Talk to anyone who’s ever driven a Subie in less than ideal conditions and they’ll swear by the symmetrical full-time all-wheel-drive system. A new feature, X-Mode, pushes the traction envelope even further; at the push of a button, it monitors and controls four different vehicle dynamics, including engine, transmission, torque splitting and braking.
There’s a lot of standard driver-assistance technology in each Ascent without having to step up to trim levels, Items like automated emergency braking and lane-keeping assist through the company’s EyeSight system. The base model gets a 6.5 inch infotainment screen while upper trim buyers will see an 8 inch screen. GPS however is only available in the two higher end trims (Limited and Premier). Both Touring and Limited are available in either seven or eight passenger configurations with captain’s chairs taking up the second row. My tester, the Premier trim comes only with the second row captains chairs. While all trims get heated front buckets it’s only the two higher trims that pamper their second row passengers with heated outboard seats. The third row looks a lot more inviting than some of it’s competitors but it’s still on the tight side with limited leg room. Still bear in mind this is a mid-size seven passenger and the seats are padded and comfortable to keep the small fry happy for longer drives. Oh and a pair of third-row USB charging ports become available in the Limited trim and are in addition to the standard two you’ll find in the front and second rows.
Rear cover blind and tow loop are stowed neatly under the cargo bay’s floor, the latter an option on some pricier suvs
.
Whether you’re out in the boonies or negotiating city streets, the Ascent doesn’t feel like a large bulky SUV. With above average handling and a minimum of body roll for a three-row SUV, Subaru’s use of the boxer engine and its advantageous low center of gravity immediately become apparent. It’s stable, with a soft luxurious ride and is generally quiet during normal highway cruising. But it does get loud when pushed hard.
Is it perfect?
The drone of the CVT does get annoying but once you get passed that, the Ascent is typically Subaru; it does everything what it’s supposed to and does it well. I averaged 9.8L/100 km which is unprecedented in a 7-passenger sport ute. It may not be overly luxurious but you get what you pay for. I know my Subaru driving friends will all be looking at the Ascent when the time comes to turn in their current drives, and that alone will keep this big Subaru around for a long time to come.
Price as tested: $52,795*

Volkswagen Golf R: You’ll want one
If you’ve missed my installment of the Rabbit GTI, I urge you to scroll down the page and have a read.
Now take the GTI and turn it up a notch, or three. The formula for the Golf R is very simple; take one German built spacious hatchback that already has solid, tight handling, and add gobbs of turbocharged horses to a 2.0L inline four cylinder. How many ponies? Two eighty-eight to be exact – enough to propel you well past the posted speed limit in less time than it takes you to say posted speed limit. Now stir in all-wheel drive to put all that power to the ground. Slam it to the ground for added handling. Dress it up with killer 19” wheels.
Choose between the 6-speed manual available for $42,495 or the 7-speed dual clutch automatic with Tiptronic for $43,895. Now go have the most fun you can with your clothes on.
Doesn’t look like it but there’s nearly 300 horses in there
Quad exhaust tips tell you this is no ordinary Golf
The Golf R is everything you want in a performance sedan and then some. It makes no sense in a country with posted speed limits, but then neither do Porches, Ferraris and the like.

New Tesla, Audi & Volkswagen EV launches due in 2020
It’s very difficult for even a car lover to keep a track of every car and to know when they are going to launch, especially if you are a truly interested in Electric Vehicles (EVs). There are many EVs going to launch within the next twelve months despite the Global Pandemic – Coronavirus. So, it is worth knowing the details of few of these EV launches and their main features including price, launch date and performance.
Tesla Model Y
This model was revealed in March 2019, however it is not expected to be available for sale in US for another 6 months or and the UK even after that. It is the sister vehicle to the Model 3 will come up as a much-in-demand as a compact SUV with the alternative to include a third column – which could make it the go-to EV for big families. It share a common platform and powertrain with the Model 3, which will ideally accelerate Tesla’s capacity to deliver vehicles on schedule.
A much developed form of the company’s ‘supercomputer’ semi-automatic driving system is also anticipated, which will be an increasingly powerful performance variant.
Tesla Roadster
Tesla Roadster is a leading sports car which is here to replace the original one – Lotus-based Roadster that announced Tesla to the world, the next-generation Roadster has been previewed extensively ahead of an official debut. As per Tesla it has a top speed more than of 250mph and can reach a speed of 0-60mph in 1.9 seconds, and it has a range of 620 miles which is due to its 200kWh battery pack which is the biggest in a production EV. Tesla has decided to price first 1000 cars at $236,466.42 and will be termed as Founder Edition Models. After that they have decided to make it around $188,865 once the general sales begin.
Audi E-tron Sport back
Audi will start the deliveries of its 2nd SUV at the end of the spring. So, just like any other e-tron model, Audi is offering two power variants for now: a 50 and a 55. These converts to 308bhp/398lb ft and 355bhp/413lb ft respectively. Customers can expect around 278 miles of range, as per the WLTP test cycle. Its power comes from twin electric motors that produce up to 402bhp which allows for a 0-60mph in just 5.7seconds.
Its price start at around $77640 for the base E-tron a 50 where as a 55 will be around $90481. If you will look it as a complete package, Audi’s E-tron is well thought out car to rock the roads in coming future.
Volkswagen ID 3
Planned and worked as an unadulterated electric vehicle (EV), the ID hatchback will be a decisive vehicle launch for Volkswagen (VW). It will be a close match to the Golf hatchback in size. Volkswagen is expecting to price it from $34000- or near to Golf diesel, making it one of the most reasonable EV than existing models.
It will be based on the integrated MEB platform, and offer different battery alternatives which falls within the range of 249 and 373 miles between charges. Girl of the Week: October 14th-20th 2019 - Denise & Audi RS3
If you're looking for a car that looks sharp, handles well, picks up like no others and has the braking power to stop a tractor trailer, with all the luxuries you'll ever need, Audi RS3 is the car for you. Powers great, handling is outstanding and the interior is both comfortable and nicely styled. It’s everything people are saying the RS is. It's so much fun to drive and looks and sounds awesome, basically the perfect choice for the new motor photoshoot of marvellous German car model and grid girl Denise. I guess God made some girls almost perfect, just like Denise, but there was something missing ... I think she found her missing piece, and it was this stunning silver Audi RS: blonde girls and Audi are a perfect combination, aren't they? Audi RS3, which landed in North America just two years ago despite being available overseas since 2013, is nearing the end of its current generation with an updated version for 2019. With a 400-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder under the hood, this sports sedan has the muscle to back up its menacing appearance. It boasts a redline of 6900 rpm, and the rip of its distinctive exhaust note sounds amazing the whole way there. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission routes torque to all four wheels; in our testing, the RS3 hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The Audi's most direct competitor is the Mercedes-AMG CLA45—a similarly nimble four-door with almost the same footprint—but managed a slightly slower 3.8-second run to 60 mph. The BMW M2, although only offered as a two-door coupe, is also a decent analogue to the RS3, but it needed 4.0 seconds to reach 60 mph in our testing. The RS3 feels razor-sharp, with responsive steering and an agile suspension. Its ride can be rough over pockmarked pavement—especially with the optional sport suspension—but if you're looking to maximize the RS3's fun potential, it tightens things up so you can really throw down. The RS3's interior is borrowed from the lower-powered S3 and the entry-level A3—which isn't a bad thing. It's a well-built cabin with plenty of tech features and more than a few surprises, such as the infotainment screen that rises out of the center of the dash upon startup or the optional digital gauge cluster with integrated Google Maps. Front sport seats are stylish, comfortable, and supportive and adults will easily find enough room in the first row. Back-seat occupants are treated to well-cushioned chairs but passenger space is tight. The RS3’s turbocharged five-cylinder engine will happily blast it from 0-62mph in a searing 4.1 seconds and on to a top speed of (if you pay extra to remove the limiter) 174mph – that’s serious sports car pace in a fairly practical five-door family car. Even more impressive is just how easy the Audi is to drive quickly. It soaks up bumps and potholes extremely well (especially with Audi’s optional adaptive suspension fitted), feels even more agile in tight corners and has seemingly endless grip thanks to its quattro four-wheel-drive system. Sure, it might not be quite as engaging as the no-holds-barred BMW M2 Competition on a racetrack, but the Audi’s still a real hoot to drive and mature enough to live with every day. It isn’t the most frugal five-door car on sale (even with a gentle touch on the accelerator you’ll struggle to better 25mpg) but it’s a doddle to drive, fairly relaxing at motorway speeds and safe – it’s based on the solid A3 Sportback, after all. Sadly, the RS3 still has one inescapable flaw – its price. It’s one of the quickest hot hatches on sale but it’ll set you back more than the M2 Competition, let alone cars like the Volkswagen Golf R and Honda Civic Type R. Still, head over to our deals pages to see how much you can save on one. #cargirl #fastcars #cargirls #carporn #RidinGirlsBlog #drivergirl #femaleriders #sexycar #AudiRS3 #AudiRS5 #Audi #luxurycars #carchick #suvlady #suv #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #carracing #truckgirl #sportcar #girlswhoride #richgirls #audilove #gridgirl #riderich #Audigirl #subarubrzpremium #brzpremium #AudiTT #RS3 #RS #AudiRS #coupe #sportcar #frankfurt

And with its AWD capabilities, it may become a popular alternative to the Golf. But before you decide to buy the new 2022 Taos, you should know a little bit more about it for more details learn more.
The 2022 Volkswagen Taos is a mid-sized SUV that's designed specifically for the U.S. market. It is not the first VW to target this market, but it is the first one that isn't made to compete with the Toyota C-HR, Subaru Forester, and Honda HR-V.
Unlike its predecessors, the Taos has a more stylish appearance than its European counterparts. Its raised roof rails and struts help keep the cabin surprisingly quiet, and the cab seats allow for a comfortable and roomy ride.
The Taos is bigger than the Kia Seltos and Ford Bronco Sport, but it's more compact than any of these vehicles. However, its higher trims have a rear spoiler and extended roof, which enhances visibility. There's also a wide trunk door and LED taillights. The exterior styling of the Taos is very attractive. It's a great choice for the urban commuter.
The Taos' exterior is a nondescript crossover with a sporty look. Its upscale interior is a bit more modern than the previous generation's, but there's a distinct character. Its lowered height makes it easier to maneuver, and the rear-seat backseats are spacious and comfortable. The rear seats are more spacious than the front-drive Taos, but they're still smaller than the Atlas and Ford Bronco Sport.
Like other cars in the same class, the Taos looks good. Its looks are a great combination of attractive design and solid technology. The interior is spacious, with a comfortable seat for five passengers.
And a large backseat for a subcompact SUV is impressive. Its cargo space is generous, and the rear view is good. The 2019 VW Taos has a strong engine and a smooth ride.

Tesla sales increase 80% in Germany ahead of Berlin factory boost
Tesla sales have actually jumped by greater than 80% in Germany in the very first quarter of 2021, contrasted to the exact same period in 2020, according to brand-new figures launched by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (FMTA). Germany is ultimately coming to the fore as a leader in the electromobility shift. Although it is still much behind Norway, currently the global leader by share where more than half of car sales in March were all-electric, Germany EV sales are improving the European market where nearly 750,000 EVs have been sold in the past twelve month. Much of Germany's EV sales can be credited to Volkswagen, whose new ID.3 electric hatch, e-Up! miniature cars and truck and also plug-in hybrid Golf (which is no more being made) lead year-to-date sales at 10,000 devices combined in February. But Tesla-- which will start making electric cars at its soon-to-be-completed Berlin manufacturing facility in coming months-- is not also far behind, having actually risen to second in February as well as has placed more than 6,000 brand-new automobiles when driving by the end of March. Tesla started exporting its "mass-market" Design 3 from The Golden State to Germany (as well as broader Europe) in early 2019, yet extra lately changed to importing the Version 3 from its Shanghai manufacturing facility. And it seems to be repaying given the jump in sales, as well as indicates maybe that German vehicle drivers are happy with the construct quality coming out of Shanghai although they will certainly quickly be making Tesla automobiles in Berlin them themselves. A lot more significantly, the Berlin gigafactory will certainly focus initially on the Model Y electric crossover, which it prepares to drain utilizing eight gigantic "Giga Press" casting equipments at a rate of 500,000 devices a year once it increases to full blast. It is currently available for order in Germany (unlike Australia) from EUR59,600 ($A92,900 converted), however Tesla does not register a sale till an automobile is provided.
