Courtesy, professionalism, and respect: Those are the three things the New York Police Department promises all of us, the phrase emblazoned on the Dodge Chargers and Chevy Tahoes and Ford Transit vans (and even the dinky little parking enforcement Smart cars) that officers use across the five boroughs.
Yet NYPD officers regularly fail to be courteous, respectful professionals. Instead, they look at their phones all day, decorate their offices with threatening posters, rack up millions of dollars in settlement fees from beating up protestors, detain vulnerable individuals like a grandmother and a Yorkshire terrier, lie, point guns at unarmed people—I could go on. And that's just the stuff we've had time to report on…which brings me to the point of this column.
Every two weeks, we're going to be combing the headlines for a new column called "New York's Finest": a roundup of arrests, firings, settlements, disciplinary board rulings, and anything else we can dig up that involves cops in New York City and the rest of the state breaking the law, harming the people they ostensibly serve and protect, or just being fucked up and weird. At a time when crime and public safety dominate the conversation about life in New York, spurred on by our ex-cop mayor and other right-wing political forces, we think it's important to keep an eye on the people who make up an agency that gets billions of dollars in taxpayer funds every year—are they really making the city a safer place to live?
In this first edition of New York's Finest, we've got knife-wielding cops, Israeli cops, a cop killing a man with a cooler, a cop's death by friendly fire captured in body-worn camera footage, and more:
On August 12, off-duty NYPD officer Elisamuel Samboy was arrested and charged with strangulation after a fight with his girlfriend at the end of July.
On August 16, Gina Mestre, an ex-NYPD officer who left the force in 2022, was charged with racketeering. The former Bronx-based cop fell in love with the leader of a gang called the Shooting Boys, then helped him flee to the Dominican Republic while assigned to a task force dedicated to capturing him. (OK, I have to admit it—that's kind of romantic.)
On August 17, NYPD officers shot a 17-year-old in the thigh in one of Brooklyn's designated "summer violence reduction zones" after he fled the scene of a fight on a Razor scooter. Cops say the teenager was reaching for a gun he dropped out of his pocket when they caught up with him. "These officers…stopped an innocent person from getting shot with that gun," NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said at a news conference. Maybe!
On August 21, the Civilian Complaint Review Board released a report that showed complaints about police misconduct increased by 40 percent from 2022 to 2023 and stop-and-frisk complaints jumped 87 percent in the same timeframe. "More enforcement means more unwelcome interactions with the public,” a source told the New York Daily News. "It only makes sense the complaints would go up."
On August 23, ProPublica dropped an investigation into the NYPD's handling of the friendly fire death of police officer Brian Mulkeen, who was killed in 2019 after he pursued and killed a man with an illegal handgun—which raised a bunch of very good questions about how the NYPD's Force Investigation Division (FID) investigates police shootings. How does the FID decide when, and how thoroughly, to review body-worn camera footage? How do they decide what parts of that footage to release to the public? Why didn't they press officers who lied about how far they were standing from Mulkeen when they shot him? Surprise, surprise: No one even tangentially related to the NYPD gave comment for the story.
Also on August 23, off-duty NYPD traffic cop Kerrielyn Gugliada was arrested on Staten Island after she threatened a man with a kitchen knife, and Eric Adams took some time to drool over Israeli police drones while on his tour of the country.
And finally, 30-year-old Eric Duprey died in a motorcycle crash August 23 when NYPD Sergeant Erik Duran hit him with a bystander's cooler that was full of soda and water bottles as, cops say, Duprey fled a drug bust on his bike. (Duprey's mother disputed this account in an interview with the Associated Press: "He wasn’t fleeing. He wasn’t fleeing. He was just on the motorcycle talking to me on the video chat. And he passed by that place when all of a sudden the call cut out," she told a reporter in Spanish.) Truly gruesome video footage shows Duran picking up the cooler and swinging it into Duprey, sending the rider tumbling off the sidewalk, over a metal barricade, and onto the street, hitting a Jeep Cherokee. "The use of force here is not consistent with our guidelines," an NYPD official told the Daily News, and clarified that the department "[doesn't] train officers to pick up something and throw it at a suspect." Duran—who has racked up 17 CCRB complaints, one substantiated, over the course of his 13-year NYPD career—has been suspended without pay, and Attorney General Letitia James has opened an investigation. According to the New York Times, which obtained an internal NYPD memo, "the police are preparing for a possible public backlash."
On August 25, the New York Civil Liberties Union shared data with Gothamist that showed that of all the people stopped and frisked during the Adams administration, only five percent were white.

An Atlanta man was arrested for a crime in a city he never visited. Why?
youtube
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - “I swear to God I ain’t never been to Louisiana.”
On Nov. 25, 2022, Dekalb County police stopped Randal Reid, 29, along a stretch of I-20. Reid was wanted out of Louisiana, according to a background search officers ran on him during the traffic stop, after two Bayou State jurisdictions accused him of stealing purses.
“You got two theft warrants,” a DeKalb officer told Reid. “They’re both in Louisiana. Who would use your name? Who would get you involved?”
“I don’t even know nobody in Louisiana,” Reid responded.
At the time of Reid’s arrest, neither he nor DeKalb police knew Louisiana law enforcement used facial recognition technology (FRT) to ultimately issue the warrants. Reid’s attorneys now say Louisiana law enforcement used FRT to link him to crimes he did not commit. Reid was released from jail on Dec. 1, 2022.
youtube
FRT is software that analyzes facial features and compares one image to another, to confirm a match or offer a limited set of results with similarities. But as more law enforcement agencies use the technology, the search for suspects is leaving behind a trail of new victims.
Several recent studies show using facial recognition technology may contribute to greater racial disparities in arrests.
‘They made a mistake, it’s OK’
youtube
Using facial recognition, police in Detroit linked Robert Williams to security video. The video shows a Black male pocketing watches from a Michigan jewelry store.
Williams, his wife Melissa and attorneys have filed a lawsuit in which they accuse detectives of failing to thoroughly investigate beyond using FRT.
“There was no questioning, no asking for an alibi,” Melissa Williams said.
“Arresting me for absolutely no reason other than whatever you seen on a picture, that’s just not real,” said Robert Williams, who now wants the technology banned.
Atlanta News First Investigates obtained body camera footage which shows police arriving at Williams’ home in Farmington Hills, just outside of Detroit, waiting to arrest him. His wife and kids watched from the driveway as he was arrested.
Robert Williams can be heard, saying, “They made a mistake. It’s okay. I’ll be back in a minute.” He did not come back for at least two days.
‘Where did you get all this from?’
In February 2019, police in Woodbridge, New Jersey, questioned a man in a Dodge Charger parked outside a hotel. The suspect was accused of stealing from the hotel’s gift shop.
As officers are questioning the driver, he cranked up his engine. “Cut it off now, don’t move, we’ll shoot,” officers yelled. They repeatedly told the driver to stop and put his hands up. The driver eventually struck a car and came close to striking an officer.
Court documents revealed police later used FRT software to run the actual suspect’s fake driver’s license through its system. The results linked Parks, who still describes the charges in disbelief, to crimes he did not commit.
“Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shoplifting, eluding... My jaw just dropped. I was like, where did you get all this from?”
In the cases of Reid, Williams and Parks, all three Black men were jailed and all were falsely matched.

Studies show racial disparities
A national study found using facial recognition technology “contributes to greater racial disparities in arrests.” The author, Dr. Thaddeus Johnson, is a professor at Georgia State University and also a former police officer.
Had FRT been available to him during his time as a police officer, Johnson said he probably would have used it, but not to make a final determination in a case.
Johnson’s study examined FRT deployment in about 1,100 cities and subsequent arrests in 2016.
The results illustrate agencies that used FRT had a 55 percent higher arrest rate for Black people and a 22 percent lower arrest rate for White people, compared to agencies that did not use facial recognition. An Atlanta man was arrested for a crime in a city he never visited. Why?
“Bias can be embedded on the very front end,” Johnson said.
According to the report, the contributing factors in racial disparities included:
Black people are “overrepresented” in image databases, like mugshots, so they carry a “greater risk of being misidentified.”
A lack of racially diverse software programmers and photos used to train or build algorithms.
Absence of federal guidelines on interpreting results
The psychological effect of “workers relying more heavily on shortcuts for time-sensitive, high stakes decisions.”
Meanwhile, more recent data by the National Institute of Standards and Technology reveals FRT has a “wide range in accuracy across developers.” For example, systems created in China have more accuracy in identifying Asian faces, according to the study.
But among U.S. systems, the highest false positives were among people of color. “We can use this technology, but we can’t do it at the expense of inequity and discriminatory policing, whether we mean to or not,” Johnson said.
youtube
Atlanta News First Investigates confirmed the facial recognition company in the arrest of Randal Reid. A spokesperson said their company encourages law enforcement to develop policies and treat results like a lead or tip, not as a deciding factor in a case.
But some agencies don’t have clearly defined policies, the subject of part two in this special investigation.

It’s rare that it reaches 100 degrees in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon.
Even rarer still is the presence of an all-gold Dodge Challenger, its reflection giving the appearance of a bejeweled shooting star pulling into the parking lot.
This one also has a vanity license plate – “Sammyy” – that enhances the car’s extraterrestrial appearance.
The Challenger’s occupant exits and joins me at a table. As she takes a seat across from me, a group of 20-somethings not too far away becomes intrigued.
More stares start to accrue from the outdoor mall goers. Next up is a young couple pushing a stroller, followed by the employees at the coffee shop I had just exited.
A minute ago, neither myself nor the table I was at seemed to warrant much, if any, attention.
You can get the sense that “somebody” just entered the premises, even if they’re not quite sure who that somebody is.
I can tell that the attention phases me more than my recently-arrived guest. Despite the now fishbowl-like dynamic between the two of us and the mall-goers, she seems to barely notice.
Then again, when you have more than 2.5 million followers on instagram and nearly half a million more on Tik Tok, being recognized by random passerby doesn’t come as a surprise like it would for most.
Rockstar? No, influencer
I distinctly remember the plethora of classmates I graduated high school with who promised to one day grow up and become “rockstars.”
Unsurprisingly, I haven’t heard from any of those classmates since. What is surprising is how anachronistic the notion of being a “rockstar” has become.
The reality is that “rockstar” should probably be replaced with a new term – ”influencer.” Sure, it’s not quite as catchy, but it’s far more accurate when describing the world’s latest (and perhaps most enviable) celebrity class.
These days, very real rock stars have nothing on the modern day Influencer.
Influencing by the numbers
What little data on the subject tells us is that, in 2016, social media influencing was just under a $2 billion industry ($1.7B, for those with a penchant for exactness).
This figure grew to $3B in 2017, and $4.6B in 2018.
In 2020, estimates tell us that the sector is likely to surpass the $10B mark.
While that may not seem like a lot of money, think of it this way – in a little under 4 years, the size of the influencing industry grew 500%.
Should the industry continue on its current growth trajectory, it will become a $50B industry by 2024.
To put this in perspective, Goldman Sachs estimates that the total value of all recorded music streaming will grow to about $30B by 2030. That means that it will take some years for music to reach just half of what influencing brings in annually.
By some metrics, influencers have become more relevant as celebrities than their musical counterparts. It’s happened quickly; adults who use social media religiously often can’t see it.
But real professional influencers are out there. As a crowd begins forming near our table, I begin to witness firsthand what these ridiculous financial statistics truly mean.
Who is Sammyy02k?
Since 2014, Samantha Krieger has gone by a number of different names. These days, she’s known as Sammyy02k.
Despite her reluctance to do in-person interviews, she’s agreed to be the subject of an Artvoice feature on the rise of social media influence.
And while Krieger can exercise her massive reach with just a few taps of a smartphone, a lot of misinformation about her continues to circulate.
As part of her agreement to the interview, I offer to help clarify the basics about just who exactly she is.
Samantha Krieger, AKA Sammyy02k
Samantha Krieger was born in Portland, Oregon. For some years, she was no different than you or me, working tedious retail jobs and driving a non-gold car.
At Lakeridge high school, she was dealt with taunts from wealthy classmates. It’s likely these experiences would activate whatever latent stardom was already within her.
After graduating from Portland State University in 2014, Krieger had a vision.
She suspected, correctly, that it doesn’t take much to at least get started as an influencer.
You need photos and/or video, sure… but given the prevalence of acceptable cameras on the backs of phones, finding a suitable recording setup was simple.
The second ingredient Krieger inferred was something less tangible – the courage required to be exceptional.
Despite her natural shyness, she had ambitions that extended beyond what she thought her bachelors degree would help achieve. Then, one day, it clicked.
“You could say I decided to become an ‘antisocial social media star.’”
“I did what I wanted to do, and I knew there was going to be a way to make it work for me.”
From 0 to 60 (thousand followers)
Like any new profile, at one point, @Sammyy02k had 0 followers.
Constant content and connection with followers helped drive things quickly, however.
A few hundred followers within a month turned into one thousand, and one thousand turned into tens of thousands in less than a year.
While impressive to most, Krieger knew there was more to be gained.
“Once I hit 50 or 60 thousand, things started to snowball. I hit the gas.”
@Sammyy02k posted more content, becoming more aware of her developing voice with every post.
At 500k followers, the contracts rolled in.
Brand building, Sammyy02k style
Krieger’s first contract of note was in Spring 2018, a lucrative deal with clothing brand Fashion Nova.
Now, instead of developing a brand on her own money and time, Krieger had companies competing against one another for the privilege of paying her to do what she loved.
The Fashion Nova contract was quickly followed by others, and within just a matter of months, Krieger’s lifestyle had changed dramatically.
She quit her last remaining part-time gig and moved into a luxury 2-bedroom apartment in Portland’s famed Pearl District.
With newfound status, however, came the need for significant soul searching.
Overcoming obstacles, digital and personal
Not too long after inking the Fashion Nova deal, Sammyy02k was offered to do a paid appearance at a party in downtown Portland. While there, she got a call from the police.
A gray Dodge Charger registered in her name had crashed into a median in China Town. The driver had fled, and the car was totaled.
Krieger immediately had a suspect in mind: a reckless boyfriend who had started taking advantage of her recently-acquired celebrity status.
Boyfriends weren’t the only concerns that Krieger had to deal with – even some of her own friends had started to become jealous, the relationships turning toxic.
To her friends, Krieger was still known as just “Sam”. People in her circle had difficulty comprehending the controlled entrepreneurism required to run @Sammyy02k.
They’d ask for shoutouts or suggest off-brand posts, not understanding that the Instagram profile required attention to detail and discipline.
Old friends becoming enemies seems like an overplayed Hollywood trope.
For a young adult who now could command thousands of dollars for just a few minutes of work, it was reality.
The type of loneliness that hides in shadows of success began to stretch further and further into Krieger’s personal life. The totalled car was the last straw.
While on the phone with the police at her first paid party appearance, Krieger took a deep breath and decided that staying on her desired path would require serious changes.
“I saw this as an opportunity where I could come back, and make a statement.”
It turned out that ditching the car (and the boyfriend) would be one of her best career decisions yet.
A car is born
A few weeks after the incident, Sammyy02k returned from a luxurious all-paid overseas trip to the Seychelles with a new travel sponsor. Krieger decided that she “needed a new whip.”
By now, Krieger had registered an LLC in her name. Business was coming fast and steady, and it wasn’t uncommon for her to be recognized on the street – not only in Portland, but in Los Angeles and even cities as far away as Kansas City.
Krieger elaborates:
“At this point, I was really stepping into my role as an influencer. This is when I really refined my style, my brand, and my image.”
For you and me, “refining your style” might mean picking up a few shirts from a department store.
To Krieger, it meant buying a brand new custom Dodge Challenger R/T wrapped in metallic gold with scissor-doors, the kind you’ll find on a Lamborghini.
According to Krieger, the car represents the essence of her brand, and the luxury of travel. It’s now one of the most recognized facets of her style.
Sammyy02k all over the world
Sammyy02k’s influence, today, is international.
With sponsorship deals taking her to the Seychelles, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and beyond, she is now recognized in 4 continents.
She prides herself on showing her fans different places around the world. The path less traveled, the freedom to be everywhere, the luxury lifestyle that many in our always-connected society dream of.
“I feel connected to the road, and traveling to exotic locations”
The opportunities that sudden stardom has afforded her seem almost surreal, even to her. Normalcy is a mirage in the rear view mirror.
Responding to criticism
In mid-2019, Krieger was the main guest on a Portland Fashion Week panel. Already an influencer to influencers, she insisted that whatever secret ingredients success exist come naturally.
During a Q&A, she fielded numerous questions regarding her chosen career path. Not all of the questions were softballs.
Some questioned the materialism and sexuality often used by influencers.
The response was simple:
“Your opinions don’t pay my bills.”
Always on the go
With more followers pouring in every day, Sammyy02k stays busy. She recounts tales of distant travels, and the types of perks that I thought were originally reserved for a few select people who orbited high above in the LA movie industry.
Thirty minutes into the interview, I notice that a distant crowd has accumulated around our table like rings around Saturn.
Krieger barely seems to notice. A reminder goes off on her phone, a notification about another engagement she has back in the city.
After a polite exchange of thank yous and goodbyes, she heads back to her car.
I hear the exhaust note of the Challenger float away from the parking lot as I gather my notes and get up from the table.
As I glance up, the crowd has already dispersed. The only people left pay me no mind as they stare at their phones.

Our Work Never Ends
I originally called this Wayward Sisters, this just popped in my head. This is a rough that I’m allowing you to see. I will be editing it from time to time.
Just let me know what ya’ll think. Please.
[Couldn’t find the Empty version of Lucifer]
Summary: Two girls come together for a common cause. Find Dean.
Pairing: None
Set: Well after Season 15 (Assuming Sam and Dean die in the finale (which they better not, bitch I’ll riot…no jk, I’ll die from the heartbreak alone.)) a couple of years or so after.
Mobile Masterlist
A/N: Cassie Robinson x Dean (Season 1); Sarah Blake x Sam (Season 1) (Died in Season 8, has a daughter), just something.
~
Ever wondered, what happens to a man when he hears his wife died of natural causes, but when the information was being told to him, it didn’t seem natural. Not to him. After Crowley killed Sarah with a hex bag, suffocating her to death. Sam wanted to break the news to her husband Ian, with their daughter, who was turning 6 at the time that their mother was dead. Sam couldn’t bring himself to tell Ian a snot nosed lie. But he couldn’t tell the truth either.
Ian turned into a hunter, shortly after the news of Sarah. He wanted revenge. Avenge his wife’s death. But, having little to no knowledge under his belt. A werewolf was all it took to end his, short, hunting days. Beth was 13 when her father died.
-
Growing up in the south with a half black and half white mother can lead to bullying. But not for Kaylee. She had her dad’s blood in her veins and Cassie knew it.
Yet another call from the school about a fight she was yet again involved in, proved to her she was Dean’s daughter. Sure she did the DNA testing, months after he left to go hunting with Sam after saving her family from a racist ghost truck, she had something of his. A stray hair was all it took to confirm she was Dean’s daughter.
She had to tell her about her dad. She always asked when she was a kid about her daddy. So she decided to tell her about her dad. Dean Winchester. A hunter, who hunts monsters. She was 14 when she learned this.
-
Three years later…
The girls are not of age yet. But armed with pictures, one of her dad, and one of her mom. All it took was a topic about monsters and the supernatural to bring the two girls together.
Kaylee, now 17 years old, she’s on her way to turning 18, rents a room out for them. To chat in a more controlled environment.
“So, you’re looking for your dad?” Beth asked.
“Yeah. My dad,” she began. And shrugged. “My mom says he hunts monsters. Supernatural monsters, ghosts, demons that whole rep.” she said.
“My dad is looking for—well was looking for, a man by the name Sam Winchester. He told my dad about my mom’s death. He might help me about my dad’s.” she explained.
“Huh, my dad’s name is Dean Winchester. Maybe we’ll both get what we want if we stick together.” Kaylee suggests.
“Yeah. I agree.” Beth says.
-
The girls got up bright an early the next day, checked out and left. Kaylee having to hotwire and steal a car. A parked, police car, a 2019 Dodge Charger, solid black with police lights on top.
“We are so going to jail.” Beth groaned.
“Shut up, I know what I’m doing kid.” Kaylee said as she quietly pulled out of the parking lot unnoticed.
Pulling into an abandoned garage several miles away.
Thought it may look abandoned, but Kaylee is familiar with the area. Her ex-boyfriend dabbled in cars. Taught her how to fix them up, hotwire, steal even turn a cop car into a nonpolice car. This also happened to be her ex-boyfriends garage.
She managed, with the tools he had lying around, to get under the hood and gank the gps tracker attached to the engine. She even managed to unhook the dashcam and, ditched the plates, lights and siren. Destroying the important stuff. Like the trackers and cameras so no one would find them, hack into it and manage to get any kind of information from the trackers and cameras.
It was starting to get late in the day, night was soon approaching.
“We’re staying here for the night. I need to work on the car more.” Kaylee says.
“Where are we gonna sleep?” Beth asks.
“Over there, the mechanic always has a place to crash while working.” She says, pointing to a spare room in the garage.
Beth finds a small bed, all made up with some covers, dusty and old. She shook the sheets and blankets out and remade the bed. And got ready to go to sleep while Kaylee striped the paint and painted the car black and trimmed with chrome. Making it look spick and span, and brand spanking new by morning. No sign it was ever a police car.
The next morning, Kaylee managed to get done with the car in time. Beth got up, made the bed and got ready to go when Kaylee stops her.
“Do you have a license?” Kaylee asked tiredly.
“Yeah, why?” Beth asked.
“You’re driving.” Kaylee tossed her the keys.
“We broke how many laws in one day? And you ask me if I have a driver’s license.” Beth says with a bitchface to boot.
“Shut up.” Kaylee says, getting in the passenger seat.
“You’ll be fine, I put different plates on the car, got new tags. The car is now ours.” Kaylee says, getting settled in.
“And how’d you manage that?” Beth asks as she pulls out.
“Breaking the law.” Kaylee says. Pulling her beanie over her eyes, and falling asleep.
-
Weeks have passed, driving from town to town, asking people if they’ve seen the man Kaylee is looking for, or anything about him.
“Kaylee, we’re here.” Beth said pulling up to a house in Sioux Falls.
After a stop in Minnesota Sheriff Donna helped out a lot.
“I swear if this is another one of my dad’s friends I’m offing myself.” Kaylee groans.
“So what if Donna didn’t know Dean had a kid, I thought it was funny.” Beth said with a laugh.
Kayla mocking a laugh with Beth. Clearly not amused.
They knock on the door.
“Yes.” A voice answers from inside.
It was summer, this house was like one of many having two doors, the main door and a screen door. And just like any house after the long winter months, and having a day where it’s beautiful outside, the screen door is open letting in the fresh air.
“Hi, are you Jody Mills?” Kaylee asked.
A middle-aged woman with pixie short hair appeared, coming to the door but not opening it.
“Depends on who’s asking?” She answers.
“Ma’am, my name is Kaylee Robinson, my mom knew a Mr. Dean Winchester, I’m looking for him.” Kaylee said.
“And how well did your mom know Dean?” She asked.
“So you are Jody?” Beth goes.
“No shit.” Kaylee groans at Beth.
Kaylee sighs. “He’s my dad.” She says.
Jody tried to hide the shock that filled her face, she too didn’t know Dean had a kid.
“He saw my mom again around January 2006, I was born September 26, 2006. And this girl, Beth, had a run in with the supernatural. We just want to find Dean and this, Sam character. Maybe they can help us.” Kaylee says.
“Help you with what?” Jody asks seriously.
“I wanna know who killed my dad and why.” Beth says.
“And my mom, died in a car accident…but it didn’t seem like an accident. It looked an awful lot like a case my dad solved when he was with my mom last.” Kaylee explained.
“Come in, you should know about this.” Jody says.
-
After a good long talk of the boys’ adventures…
“God?” Kaylee goes.
Jody nods. After telling them about the Winchester’s, demons, angels, and Jack and Cas and their bought with God Chuck.
“They died, protecting this new god?” Beth asked.
“Yeah, they couldn’t get away and well the power of Jack and Chuck overwhelmed them. Killing them instantly. They felt no pain.” Jody explained.
“So my dad’s dead too.” Kaylee goes, standing up.
“I’m sorry kid, I really am. Look, I wish there was a way.” Jody starts.
“What if there is?” Kaylee says.
“What?” Jody asks.
Beth remaining silent.
“You said before, they died and came back many times. What if, there is a way to get them back?” Kaylee asks.
“Sweetheart, they wouldn’t want that.” Jody says.
“How would you know?” Kaylee snaps.
“Lebanon, that’s where their base is right, I’m heading there.” Kaylee says, leaving.
“But, Kaylee, you and I know nothing about bringing the dead back to life.” Beth says after her.
“Dad and Sam figured it out, right?” she asked. “Well, I’m a Winchester too. Believe it or not. I’m sure I will figure out how to bring my dad and uncle back.” Kaylee says getting in the driver seat.
Jody couldn’t get out fast enough. By the time she gets to her truck they're gone. All she could do was to put out an APB on the car. As the days pass, no one sees the car or the girls.
-
A few days later…
They pull up a trail, seeing a tall building looming over head.
“Apparently hunters here knew Dean and Sam. That’s a good thing, right?” Beth asked.
“Well yeah, we would have been looking all over for this place…” Kaylee says. “Not that we would be looking to long. Lebanon isn’t very big.” Kaylee adds.
The door down remained unlock. As they walked in through the second door, a dark and musty room awaited them. They pulled out their cellphones, activating the flashlight.
“Whoa.” Beth goes.
“Son of a bitch.” Kaylee says.
“This place is huge, and your dad lived here?” Beth says.
“Apparently.” Kaylee says.
Kaylee looks around and sees the main power switches. She heads over and throws both of them, one at a time.
“Son of a bitch.” Beth says. Her gaze, off into the far distance.
Kaylee follows Beth’s gaze, seeing a huge library.
“Hey girl, I think we found the batcave.” Kaylee says.
“Well, let’s get to looking on how to bring your dad back.” Beth says.
-
The next morning…
“Kaylee, this place has everything, spell books, lore books, hell even a Manuel on being a hunter.” Beth says holding up the books.
“Alright, let’s not geek out okay.” Kaylee says.
“Geek out, really?” Beth goes.
“Well, don’t get me wrong, it all sounds awesome. But, I just wish it was an easy, ‘hey this book is on resurrecting the dead’.” Kaylee says, playing with the swords behind Beth.
“Yeah, well, we don’t have that. We have to do it the old fashioned way.” Beth says.
After a couple of hours of reading and scrounging, Beth found a lead.
“There’s a spell. All I need is blood, blood related to your dad and uncle. And since you have some Winchester blood in you, and Dean and Sam, you are related to them so, I need your blood.” Beth says, holding up the spell.
“But we got everything else. Sage, and something that belonged to them…” Kaylee says skeptically. As she looked at the pile Beth had, ingredients for the spell. Two flannels, a stick of sage and a bowl.
“Your dad’s stuff was still here so I figured his flannel would do.” Beth said.
“Does it have to be the whole damn shirt, just, here.” Kaylee says.
Grabbing a pair of scissors she cuts a piece from the collar.
“Look, there’s even hair. And we’ll do it on Sam’s too.” Kaylee says, doing the same to his flannel.
“But problem.” Beth says.
“What?” Kaylee groans.
“Where are they buried?” Beth asks.
Oh.
Kaylee looked all over the bunker, for a clue to where they would be buried. And found nothing. But one clue that seemed odd.
“Jack, the same Jack told us is the new God. He used to live here.” Kaylee says, entering the library holding a journal.
“Yeah, same for Cas too. Did you know celestial beings don’t sleep?” Beth says.
“Kind of figured. But this journal, has my dad’s name in it. And another Winchester, John. Sounds like he was my dad’s dad.” Kaylee says.
“Yeah, that’s called a grandpa.” Beth says jokingly.
“What’s with the snarky comments?” Kaylee snapped.
“I’m bored.” Beth says.
“I wonder if praying works.” Kaylee says.
“Try it out.” Beth says.
“Okay.” Kaylee goes, sitting down, folding her hands and begins to pray.
“Alright, I have questions that need answering. And only this Cas and Jack can answer them. Can someone up there send their feathery ass’s down here, please and thank you.” She says.
“Really? That’s a prayer?” Beth says sassily.
“I don’t go to church.” Kaylee says.
“Hello” a voice is heard behind them. They turn to see a scrawny kid.
“And you are?” Kaylee asks.
“Jack.” He says.
“Jack, the same Jack that worked with my dad?” Kaylee asked.
“I am. And, before you ask, I have made a promise not to bring them back. Under any and all circumstance.” He says quickly.
“But Jack it’s important. We need answers.” Kaylee says.
“I’m sorry, but as far as I’m concerned, this place has all the answers you need. I can’t help you.” He says and vanishes.
“Well, son of a bitch.” Kaylee growls.
“Now what?” Beth asked.
“We’ll find a way; we don’t need no god to help us.” Kaylee says.
-
Remember Nick, Lucifer’s first original vessel? We were never shown what happened to his body, or his spirit since God’s destruction. And his many attempts to bring Lucifer back from the Empty. Let’s just say being a vengeful spirit has it’s perks. Going between worlds, even dipping into the Empty and waking up Lucifer.
The Empty Lucifer, and the spirit of Nick, resurrected Nick’s corpse.
After slipping past Death, getting Empty Lucifer out of the Empty and into the real world Nick and Lucifer were back in action. And more powerful than ever.
Winchester. He wanted the Winchester’s dead.
-
As the girls slept in the bunker, Kaylee couldn’t sleep. Her thoughts racing. Until she heard her friend screaming.
“Beth!” Kaylee shouted. Following Beth’s screams.
She found Beth, standing at a crossroads of hallways. She follows Beth’s gaze to find a man standing at the end of the hall. A dark gaze in his eye. Flashing red, a deep red.
Her mind screaming somehow. Lucifer.
Lucifer?
“Lucifer.” Kaylee whispers.
“What? How’d you know?” Beth asks.
“I don’t know, I just do somehow.” Kaylee says.
Lucifer vanished in a puff of black smoke.
And it happened again behind them. Turning to see Lucifer looming over them, he throws the girls down the hall. Causing them to roll to a stop.
“Something’s off about him.” Kaylee says. Getting up.
“How so? Wait? How would know something is off about him?” Beth shouts further down the hall from Kaylee. “You don’t even know him!”
“I don’t know okay!” Kaylee admits.
The girls notice their breath is showing.
“Didn’t your dad write something about ghosts showing themselves, the temperature would drop?” Beth asked.
A thought came to Kaylee, and she acted on it.
“Dad, is that you?” Kaylee asks.
A figure appeared behind her.
“Sam!” He shouted. Another figure showed up, behind Lucifer.
Lucifer stopped. Seeing Sam and Dean appearing before him.
“Dean!” Sam shouted.
Dean? Dean! Dad! Kaylee thought.
Sam used his ghost mojo to hold Lucifer in place.
“Kay, listen to me.” Dean says. Kaylee turns towards him.
“There’s a book, it’s a banishing spell. Try it.” He says.
“But, dad he doesn’t feel celestial in any way. I don’t think he’s an angel.” She says.
“I think Dean’s ghostly influence or whatever is giving you this knowledge.” Beth suggests.
“There should be an angel blade in my room, run and get it.” Dean ordered.
Before she could, Lucifer sent her flying further down the hall. Dean vanishes for a minute, and appears by Kaylee’s side.
“You okay?” He asked.
“Yeah, at least I’m not hitting a wall or anything.” Kaylee answers. “An angel blade, what’s an angel blade?” Kaylee asked. Dean vanishes. Only to hear a metallic blade slide out of his room.
She hurries to it, sliding to a stop and grabbing it. And she high tails it towards Lucifer. Who launches her through a closed door, Kaylee grunts in pain at the force of it all.
“Sorry kids, but, gotta run.” Lucifer growls. Vanishing, this time for good, in a puff of black smoke.
“You’re right, not an angel.” Dean says.
“Can you come back now?!” Kaylee asks, stumbling out of the room Lucifer just threw her in. Angel Blade in hand. “Jack said he wasn’t gonna bring you back because of some promise. Beth and I know nothing about hunting, we need you guys.” Kaylee begs.
“That spell Beth dug up, it will work. Just head up to the grave site. It’s the top of this hill up here.” Dean says.
“We can’t follow you up their unless you bring something that ties us to this plane.” He adds.
“Beth, my laptop. I'm tied to my laptop.” Sam says.
Beth runs into Sam’s room and grabs his laptop. Giving her a nod.
“Mine, oddly enough, is not in here. And after all this time I don’t know if she’ll run.” Dean says.
“What?” Kaylee asks.
-
Dean shows her his car. The black, 1967 Chevy Impala.
“I loved this car more than anything. She was my baby.” Dean says.
“Okay, can I drive her up there?” She asks.
“If you can get her to start, yeah.” Dean says.
She heads into Dean’s room, finding his keys and is back in no time. The boys fizzle in and out of view, one minute they're not in the car, the next minute they’re in the back seat behind the girls.
She turns the key, sounds like the battery is dead. And judging by the way her dad's car is parked, she can get her Dodge down here and give the Impala a jumpstart.
And that’s what she does. She manages to drive it in the garage, parking it so she can get out in the Impala but also jumpstart the old muscle car.
And a jumpstart was all it needed. Beth turns off the Dodge and gets in the Impala and the pair drive up the hill to the grave site they speak of.
-
It was almost dawn when they reached the hilltop. Finding three graves.
Beth heading over to said graves getting bowl ready, Sam helping her as best as he could.
Kaylee and Dean having a, ghostly, father, daughter bonding moment.
“Cas. Who was Cas?” Kaylee asked.
“He was, an angel friend of ours. A brother in arms. He died trying to save us but, obviously it wasn’t enough.” Dean says dryly.
“Did you ever loved my mom?” She asked.
“Of course I did, that’s why I left.” Dean answers. Almost offended by the question. “You know what I do--, what I did. I didn’t want that for your mom. Or you.” He said.
“Well, she died in a car accident, but in my mom’s old journal entry, how people were dying the same way she did.” Kaylee explained.
“I thought, having it cross hollowed grounds it would destroy it Sam.” Dean says, glaring at Sam.
“Guess I was wrong.” Sam says.
“When did this happen?” Dean asked.
“It was…around, early October 2019.” She answers.
“That’s when God opened up hell, probably even brought him back for kicks.” Dean said.
“And this is Chuck, not Jack, right?” She asks.
“Right, Chuck was just, all out bad.” Dean answers.
“Okay, Kaylee, I’m ready for the blood.” Beth says.
She turns back to Dean. Dean gives her a nod and a soft, sad smile.
Kaylee heads over to Beth’s spell making bowl and cuts her hand, squeezing a good amount of blood. And Beth saying the incantation.
‘Bout a short time later two hands, one from either grave shot up. The girls scream at the scene, backing off some.
First popped out Sam, gasping for breath. Shortly after, Dean popped out doing the same. Both looking like nothing happened, other than being buried. No injuries, no blood, just unharmed and fine.
“Well,” Dean says with a huff.
“Looks like we got more work to do.” Sam says, panting.

September 24, 2019: 4:45 pm:
September 24, 2019: 3:27 pm:
I just returned from socio-terrific doctor appointment in Medford, #SAGClubMed central HQ.
As usual, people were sneaking around my home yesterday and today.
I killed an intruder yesterday, who entered my home while I was in the restroom, The man had gone to my refrigerator, and was telling someone else about the contents of my refrigerator. The man had a sword, I took his sword from him, and ran him through with it, escorted him to the front door, and shoved him out of the door.
The door was locked with two locks and another safety device. The man was able to come inside even thought the door had two locks, and something extra.
I closed and locked the door again.
I believe the man's name was Robert, or, Rodger.
If his name was Robert, there is a good chance he was Rodger Hunter, a SDA terror solodier associated with a terror cell called “Medical Democrats”, and at the location 598 “MyStreet” is where he is specifically known to have lived for about 5 years. Rodger Hunter no longer lives at 598, some other Medical Democrats terror cell members live there now, Cynthia and Rick Manning.
The man could have been Manning. I don't know. I thought I already killed Rick manning when he attacked me with a Pit Bull by my mailbox a few months ago.
The receptionist at the terror doctor office asked about “Rod”. That could be Rodger, or Robert, she may have said “Rob”.
On the way to terror ClubMed doctor, the usual terror soldiers were deployed from the corner of Three Pines Road, and Oxyoke Road, where a group waits for instructions to just drive around, go in the direction they are told, make observation, and report what they observe at a given location as they pass by. About six of them today on Three Pines going towards Russel Road, they passed by me, as I was going towards Monument Drive.
That happens every time I leave the house.
I usually encounter the same cars that pass by often. I only leave my home two weeks apart, so, seeing the same cars is not a condition of daily routine, they wait for me to leave and make observation, so that others involved in assassination attempt can be ready, at the place they need to be.
The was moderate traffic on the way to Medford.
Observations include a big rig carrying three very large fans. Commercial size ventilation units. About six feet tall each one. That truck & trailer were going Northbound at about 1:15 pm.
Another observation was a mobile home, in two parts, wide-load, going Southbound, at about 1:20 pm. Those wide-load trucks were all over the road, swerving and changing lanes all over the place.
Other than that, at the Medford Exit at Crater Lake hwy, there is usually at least three people who sit at the corner, at the exit, and one on the overpass, and another near the other on-ramp.
They were not there today, they are ALWAYS there, but not today. There was others at the Biddel Road interchange corner. One man sitting and watching the traffic, a watchdog, and another two with bicycles walking their bicycles, and a woman with a baby carriage. I have seen those exact people at the exact places doing the exact same things dozens of times. One of the bicycles is very strange looking, is rusty, tall seat, small wheels, big frame. The woman with the bay carriage always stops walking, looks at me, and turns the baby carriage towards me, points at me, and tells the baby to look at me while I am waiting for the traffic light to change. I look at the bany, and the light changes, every time.
There were more people walking their bicycles. I saw about fifteen people with bicycles today, all were walking beside their bicycles except one. That one was a new, shiny, beach cruiser.
There was a toilet on the side of the road across the street from the terror doctor office.
I parked. I noticed a white van in the parking lot, it has been there for many months, maybe a year or more in the doctor parking lot. The hood is cracked open (“bee in your bonnet” SDA comm), the tags are 2018 ( State Police), the words “We went to Oregon” are written on the passenger window with white crayon (tourists died there), the front bumper is held on with bungee cords (Charlston Dodge Charger Crash at SAG terror demonstration connection terror advertisement) and there is a pamphlet about pianos (be quiet) on the dash board.
Inside the office was terror comm from the receptionist. She wanted me to be Robert or Rodger. I am not, so she advised others that Rod did not make it. I was given a paper that says prices are going up by $100 for lab work, that is more terror comm. I was asked if $1.03 means anything to me, when I said no, she charged me an extra $1.03.
There was more comm in the form of a nurse with an amputated arm. Also, when I go there, the people who come in are all fake patients, they are actors playing roles. They don't do health services there, it's a front. They are capable of pretending to do health service, but that is not what they do. There is always at least one man who comes in dressed in a suit without jacket, dress shoes and pants, white shirt, always. Nit the same guy always, but the same wardrobe always.
The fake patients are SDA soldiers. They come in pairs mostly. If not in a pair, the solo ones always have some kind of prop, apparatus, thing with them. A wheel chair or oxygen tank or crutches or some bullshit item. The ones that come in pairs, do not usually have the prop, apparatus thing.
At the fake doctor, the fake patients, and me, are given a pain management questionnaire to fill out. The fake SDA in pairs are almost amusing to observe when they fill out the forms. It's always the same thing, each pair of fake people do the exact same routine as the other ones do. They sit down, and one SDA plays the “caregiver” role, while the other one plays the “patient” role. The caregiver asks the patient the questions in the forms. There are two forms, each one has eight pages.
The whole thing is so when real patients come in there, they will be distracted and concentrating on that form, not paying attention to the terror soldier with a sword and nitrous gas that is sneaking up behind them. So, those pairs of fake patients can be identified by the way two people sit down, and one asks the other the questions on the form. If you pay attention to what is happening, it's easy to see that it's all fake, they have been reading those same questions for years, and are only releasing nitrous gas while saying their lines, and waiting for opportunity to strike.
The fake doctor, Paul Leppert, always tells me a story about his time n Vietnam, or Korean war. Always. He never ever talks about my health conditions. He keeps saying I need to get a primary doctor, he is a specialist and I need a Primary Care Physician (PCP, Angel Dust). I always tell him there are no doctors. He always tell me I NEED to go to La Clinica.
If he wants me to go to La Clinica, that's how I know it's a bad Idea to go to La Clinica.
DONT GO TO LA CLINICA!
No one tried to kill me inside the office this visit.
On the way home, I saw the same things I usually see. A tow truck with a grey SUV on it parked in the right hand lane in front of the shopping center (where there is a Denny's restaurant sort of hidden, with only a very small sign, and part of a motel that I don't know what the name is.) and a Medford Police SUV. The Towing is “Dick's Towing” (dick's in the road).
On the freeway, not much to say other than a lot of bright red big-rig trucks with white trailers.
One white van caught my eye, a Caravan sized van, bright white, rear window whited out with vinyl, and the words “Arnold's Dental, equipment sales”, California license plate.
Someone from Dietrick's 601 came down “MyStreet”, and did a head on collision attempt, the swerved.
Lot's of watchdog terror soldier in vehicles.
All of this is valuable information to people who need it.
That's all for now.

“Demarcus Doss and his girlfriend, Joanna Oller, were stuck in rush-hour traffic on the Interstate 80 highway in Richmond, California, when the dark gray Dodge Charger that had been ominously following them pulled into the exit lane alongside their minivan. A man was leaning waist-deep out of the back driver’s side window, a black semi-automatic pistol in hand.
Boxed in on all sides by bumper-to-bumper traffic, there was little Doss could do to avoid the barrage of gunfire. As bullets ripped through the passenger door and window, Doss reached over to shield Oller from the attack. He was hit by multiple bullets and died from his injuries. Oller suffered a gunshot wound to her hand, but survived the ordeal.
This brazen afternoon killing in March 2017 was one of 189 freeway shootings that took place in the San Francisco Bay Area between November 2015, when the California highway patrol began keeping track, and April 2019. The number of freeway shootings has increased on nearly every major highway in the region, law enforcement officials say, from San Jose to Silicon Valley, Oakland and San Francisco.
caldecott tunnel driver shot in head expected to survive. eastbaytimes, 16.06.19.
“The Bay Area has seen a sharp decline in gun homicides in the past decade, even as inequality and poverty have been on the rise, but highways are one of the few areas where gun violence is up.
Bay Area law enforcement and elected officials do not have an iron-clad explanation of why freeways have become a more common venue for gun violence, but they point to a series of factors, including gang conflicts and the displacement of longtime residents from cities like Oakland, where the average cost of rent has exceeded many working-class families’ budgets.
pittsburg police captain, patrick wentz, and the deputy district attorney for contra costa county, mary knox, monitor the freeway security network command center, a system used to track down suspects in freeway shootings.
“Demarcus Doss’s alleged killers might have escaped were it not for a witness who called 911 as the gray Dodge Charger sped down an offramp. A Richmond police officer followed the car to a house where Elliott Johnson, 24, of Richmond, and two 17-year-old boys, got out. All three were arrested.
Johnson and one of the juveniles, Bryan Anderson, were charged with Doss’s murder and the attempted murder of Joanna Oller. Police say a test of Anderson’s hands for gunshot residue was positive. As with other freeway shootings, prosecutors say Johnson and Anderson are gang members. Doss, however, had no gang affiliations and the exact motive for his murder remains unclear.
Since Doss’s killing, the freeway shootings show no sign of slowing. In one 10-day stretch in June, there were six freeway shootings in the region. Three took place in a 24-hour span of time on a patch of San Jose highway. One attack left 33-year old Matthew Rios dead, and in another a 12-year old girl was injured by shattered glass. On Monday, a shooter opened fire on an SUV on Interstate 880 in Oakland, injuring the driver. The stretch of highway was shut down for hours as California Highway Patrol searched for evidence on the road.
“driver wounded in I-880 shooting in oakland.” eastbaytimes, 22.07.19.
“Demnlus Johnson, the Richmond city councilmember, said that surveillance is a necessary investigation tool, but if law enforcement and public officials want to see freeway shootings end, they need to combine efforts to invest in intervention and prevention among residents who are at risk of being perpetrators and victims.”

Police cars - what ones do you think would make good day-to-day ones apart from the Dodge Charger and Ford Explorer? via /r/cars
Police cars - what ones do you think would make good day-to-day ones apart from the Dodge Charger and Ford Explorer?
Over here in the United Kingdom, our equivalent of the Dodge Charger or Ford Explorer cop cars are the Peugeot 308 and Vauxhall Astra hatchbacks or a BMW X5. There's no police Range Rover any more - not since 2012.
This is not about politics, but about what would be good new cop cars in general.
In the U.S. they could use these as cop cars:
Volvo S90 T8 Hybrid / V90 T8 Hybrid
With 386hp from its 2.0-liter/4-cylinder engine, this isn't a sports sedan but it'll be quick at 5.1 seconds from 0-60mph.
It looks pretty good, and being a Volvo, well, pretty reliable.
The V90's predecessors, the V70 [2001-2007, 2007-2018] and V70 [1997-2001] and 850 [1993-1996] were widely used by British police as cop cars - around 1997-1998 the V70 was used as an armed response vehicle.
LDV Maxus EV80/FCV80 electric van
Image
It's Chinese, but I could see this van being used as a mobile catering unit for cops.
No long-wheelbase EV version yet, but the EV80 seems popular in China as a van, especially in plain Maxus V80 gasoline form.
Only problem is the current political situation stopping it being sold in the U.S. [not that I can get into the politics of it here].
Porsche Taycan
Porsches traditionally haven't made for practical cop cars - the 911 looks cool, but is impractical. The new Taycan EV sedan has 600hp from its battery.
Not due until September, but it'd make a good highway patrol car - perhaps for the California Highway Patrol or Metropolitan Police in London?
I wouldn't mind seeing Greater Manchester Police use these on the A580 East Lancs Road!
Subaru Viziv
I'm referring to the Viziv Adrenaline Concept from March 2019.
Whenever this gets made into a production version, I could see this fulfilling the same role as the 1994-2000 Impreza Turbo that many police forces used. I expect it'll be a four-door hatchback with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
A plug-in hybrid Viziv WRX - that would sound good.
FAW-Toyota Izoa EV / Toyota CH-R EV
This is a compliance car for China with an EV motor. Could it be tuned to 240hp for Ford Focus ST-like performance for a police performance package, or would that be too taxing for the chassis?
The CH-R is seen as cool by people I know, but would it be a good cop car or even as an ARV [armed response vehicle]?
Mitsubishi Lancer
Mitsubishi Lancer rendering by Auto Express
No, not the Evo, but the reboot model which is a crossover.
I like the pseudo-hatchback looks, even though this is a crossover. I've no real issue with that, since it's a sort of spiritual successor to the 1987-1992, 1992-1996 model [wasn't that identical to the Mitsubishi Mirage of 1987-1992, 1992-1996 - Mirage / Lancer, unless I'm wrong?]. This version
I expect it'll be a hybrid, given Mitsubishi's focus on plug-in hybrids and EVs, or possibly an EV model.
I hope they produce a 2.0-liter/360hp 4-cylinder plug-in hybrid along the lines of the old Evo, which would be good for cops, as a pursuit car. If you include AWD, it'd make a good all-weather car too, for the freeways.
The Mitsubishi Lancer EV model would be good for city limits, maybe in Los Angeles, New York City, London, Tokyo, along with Amsterdam and Copenhagen [where the Mitsubishi Lancer was quite popular in Europe].
I'm interested to hear what you think would be a good new cop car from vehicles that are set to launch this year and next year.

Calls for crackdown on public trade in police gear after Nova Scotia shootings
Whether it's the auctioning of police light bars or the availability of official RCMP decals, people familiar with the public trade in police gear say it's time to crack down on the potentially dangerous practice.
Their comments come after the RCMP revealed further details this week about how a Nova Scotia man acquired four former police vehicles at auctions, then used one of them in a murderous rampage across the province.
The killer had carefully painted and added flashing lights to one of the vehicles, which helped him escape the rural community of Portapique on April 18 after taking the lives of his first 13 victims.
After evading police and avoiding interception, Gabriel Wortman, 51, went on to kill nine more people the next day before officers shot and killed him.
David Giles, vice president of All EV Canada, an electric vehicle service and sales company, says during his 30-year career as an auto technician he's often seen used police gear and decals for sale at auctions.
Giles, a frequent Crown expert witness on automotive issues, says police should end the practice of selling the gear to the highest bidders.
"I think those items should be restricted. They shouldn't fall into the general public's hands," he said in an interview.
Giles provided internet links to light bars from decommissioned police vehicles being sold at recent public auctions in the Halifax area.
He also sent a link to a federal government procurement site, where the specifications for how to manufacture RCMP decals are available for the general public to view -- a practice he said should be kept more confidential.
A review of recently sold items on www.GCSurplus.ca, which is managed by Public Services and Procurement Canada, shows dozens of police cars were purchased between November 2018 and February 2019.
Prices ranged from $1,150 for a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria to $31,200 for a five-speed 2018 Dodge Charger.
While these sales are permitted, it is explicitly illegal under the federal Criminal Code for anyone to use them to impersonate a police officer.
However, provincial legislation doesn't always explicitly prohibit ordinary citizens from owning items such as the distinctive light bars of police vehicles, with their flashing red lights.
For example, in Nova Scotia, Section 179 of the Motor Vehicle Act prohibits people from moving on a highway with the flashing lights -- but doesn't explicitly prohibit owning the light bars.
Police unions and associations say it's time to tighten up those rules in light of the potential dangers that the Nova Scotia gunman's actions demonstrated.
"There's a lot of merit in having some very good, robust provincial regulations around the sale and possession and use of police equipment," Tom Stamatakis, the president of the Canadian Police Association, said in an interview.
Stamatakis said the original intent of provincial regulations was simply to prohibit the public ownership of items such as light bars.
"Unfortunately there have been many people who have argued that non-law enforcement personnel should have access to equipment," he said.
"The definitions of some of those regulations have been extended unnecessarily."
Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil said Wednesday he is sure that recommendations on the resale of police items will emerge as a result of the police investigation into the killings.
"Not only here in Nova Scotia but I'm sure nationally they'll be looking at how do we address the issue of surplus equipment from law enforcement agencies across the country," he said.
Dean Goodine, a film property manager in Summerland, B.C., said in an interview that police vehicles used in movies are tightly regulated.
The replica vehicles are approved by police lawyers, and after completion the painted vehicles are returned to the RCMP and the graphics are destroyed, said Goodine.
He said production teams can purchase items from special prop stores, but those aren't open to the general public.
"However, it's astonishing to me what's available at public auction," he added.
In addition, he noted the painting of the vehicle wouldn't be overly difficult.
"It's quite easy now for anybody who had money and access to printers. You could go online and find every conceivable thing you need to do this," Goodine said.
Police in Ontario are investigating two incidents of officer impersonation in recent weeks.
Provincial police are looking for a suspect after a woman in Lakeshore was pulled over by a vehicle with red and blue flashing lights and approached by a man wearing what appeared to be a police uniform last Thursday.
In Wellington County, Ont., a 25-year-old man was charged with impersonating a peace officer last week in relation to an incident on April 17 -- the day before Wortman began his rampage in Nova Scotia.
Investigators say a family was riding their bikes in Puslinch, about 80 kilometres southwest of Toronto, when they were stopped by what appeared to be an unmarked police vehicle.
Police say the SUV was equipped with a push bumper and flashing lights, and the driver could be heard yelling over a public address system.
This report by The Canadian Press was first published April 29, 2020.

Houston Man SHOOTS Two Men After They Tried To 'Catcall' His Girlfriend At A Gas Station - WATCH
A Houston man pulled out a gun and shot two men after they whistled and catcalled his girlfriend. And it was all caught on video. More inside...
Ish went totally left at a Houston gas station recently.
Apparently, a group of men tried to holla at another man's girlfriend and he made sure it'll never happen again. According to reports, a man pulled out a gun on a group of men and started ringing off shots, injuring two men, one morning at a Chevron gas station. The men "whistled" and "catcalled" who the cops believe is his girlfriend, and he wasn't having it. According to the Houston Chronicle:
The woman was standing outside the Chevron station at Imperial Valley Drive and North Sam Houston Beltway when two men started to whistle at and catcall her around 11 a.m., according to Houston police officers on scene. A man believed to be the woman's boyfriend saw the two men and started to argue with them, police said.
At some point, the boyfriend pulled out a gun from his car and opened fire, striking both men in their legs, officers said. They were taken to a nearby hospital, where they are expected to survive.
The alleged shooter let off six shots before hopping in his black Dodge Charger with the woman and sped away. Two men were seen limping after the shooting before they were taken to a near by hospital. They're both expected to survive.
The suspect is still on the loose.
Watch the shooting unfold below:

Shooting someone over inappropropriate but non-life endangering acts is doing the absolute most. But we bet the victims won't try that again.

Muscle Cars Used As Police Vehicles
By Dave Ashton
Police forces around the world usually have a few vehicles in their lineup with that extra bit of zing under the hood. Since the dawn of the motor car, it’s been a cat and mouse game to have police vehicles faster than the baddies. Muscle cars are an ideal choice in this respect. Plenty of power and torque, along with a sound that makes the car in front realize they have something serious on their tail.
Florida Highway Patrol, Troop G in Jacksonville, are one the latest forces to realize a bit of Dodge muscle car is the thing to have. In this case, it’s a Challenger R/T with a 5.7-liter V8 producing 375HP. The signature black and tan colors have been added, along with emergency lights, 360-degree camera and the usual police force kit. Performance tires and wheels have been left on, rather than using the steel wheels as used on the Dodge Chargers in the rest of the fleet.
The Challenger R/T isn’t the most potent in the lineup, that goes to the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye with 797HP, but it’s a good start point. The Florida Challenger has also been entered into the 2019 Best Looking Cruiser Contest for the American Association of State Troopers’.
Other police Vehicle Muscle Cars
Adding a spot of muscle car into the inventory of police vehicles is nothing new, especially in the US and Canada. One of the first was possibly the 1932 Ford Model 18 which housed a flathead V8, but even back in 1899 the police had a wagon which ran on electricity.
If we go back to the heights of the classic muscle car era, there was simply no excuse for a US police force to not use some sort of American V8. In alphabetical order, the Alabama State Police used a 1970’s AMC Javelin. Chevy Camaros in the form of a B4C police package was used 1991–2002 by the California Highway Patrol, Chevrolet Impala PPV 1971–1976, 1977–1985, 2000–2016 and the Chevrolet Nova PPV 1975–1979 and the Bloomfield Hills police department using several Chevrolet Corvettes.
Dodge Charger PPVs from 2006–present, a Dodge Viper used by the Sheriff’s Office of Camden County, Georgia, Dodge Challengers and the 1970 Dodge Coronet. Ford Torino/Ford Fairlane — 1963–1976, Ford Mustang SSP from 1982 to 1993, 730-HP Saleen Mustang Cruiser used by Riverside Police Department, California and the Ford Mustang LX Highway Patrol Edition by the the Texas DPS, 1983 and 1993. The Plymouth Fury PPV 1965-1978 and the Pontiac LeMans PPV 1973-1977. Clearly not an exhaustive list, but it gives an inkling into where there is a muscle car make, there’s usually a law enforcement application.
One place where modern, high-end muscle cars are an obvious choice is in the Dubai police Department. Their police vehicles could easily be mistaken for a supercar concours show, with the likes of Bugatti, Ferrari and Lambos in the lineup. Currently used or in the past, the Dubai police Department have patrolled the roads paved with gold with the likes of a Chevrolet Camaro SS, Corvettes, a Dodge Viper and a Ford Mustang GT by Roush Racing.
As Chevy have now confirmed the mid-engined C8 Corvette supercar, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of these eventually makes its way into the Dubai line up.

Conclusion?

April 10, 2019: 2:43 pm:
I just returned from a shopping adventure in Socio-terrific Dystopia,
Grants Pass Oregon.
I went to the Bi-Mart to fill my prescription from yesterday’s terrorist #SAGClubMed visit to the fake doctor. Before I left, there were people from the neighbor terror cell, Nathan Phillips at 520 “MyStreet dressed in turkey camouflage and hiding in the woods around my house. They do this almost everyday. It prevents me from going outdoors. The way they do the turkey camouflage, and with the use of the Nitrous Oxide gas, they actually round-up a bunch of wild turkeys from the neighborhood, while wearing the turkey camouflage, which is made of real turkeys. The turkeys stay nearby the gas-wielding terrorists, and all huddled in a group. The turkeys like the gas, so they stay right there in a group with the terrorist that hides in the woods ready to shoot me with a cross-bow if I go outside. The terror bastards are invisible when they do this in a group of real turkeys and move around with them. Also, Nathan makes a camouflage outfit made of lichen, a plant that grows on the trees around here, a parasite sort of plant that looks like moss. He covers his whole body in the lichen, and small branches and leaves, and has a blanket made of twigs and leaves to hide under. While the one in the turkey suit draws my attention, the one in the lichen, and with the blanket pops up out of nowhere and shoots at me with the cross-bow. There are so many of these people hiding and trying to kill me, that I am not able to defend against that kind of attack very well. The best I can do with that usually is just keep using a lighter, and trying to ignite the gas they use,
I made it to my car to leave, but encountered one of the Nathan Phillips terror cell near my gate, and in the other neighbors yard at 434. That one launched away towards Chartrands at 376. Nathan Phillips terror cell includes a large number of terror soldiers that also belong to various other, larger terror cells, such as Les Schwabb, Jack-in-the-Box, the State Police, and a bunch of others that are mostly on the North end of Grants Pass between Savage Avenue and the Interstate 5 Freeway, but including the State Forestry office on the other side of the freeway. Nathan Phillips terror cell is a family cell, each business in Grants Pass has become larger terror cells, each one is composed of the smaller, family terror cell members. Nathan Phillips family cell is a terror training center where small children are trained to torture kidnapped victims, and other terror activities. That is what is next door to my house, terror torture training center. Sometimes, the victims get free, climb over the fence, and come to my door seeking help. I cannot help them. There is no hospital to take victims to. There is nothing available for Americans who are injured. I have tried to help, but the terror bastards always come find the victims. That has not happened very often, but it has happened, and could not help anyone. Nathan uses a trailer with the kind of door they call a “freezer door” style lock. The victims don’t get out of the yard anymore since he got that trailer. Now, he built a small building, I think they do the torturing inside of the building now, and not in the trailer any more.
All this to talk about a trip to the Bi-Mart pharmacy.
On the way to the Bi-Mart, on Grants Pass Parkway, I passed two Grants Pass police K-9 units. One SUV, and one Dodge Charger, both were blue and white. I went right by them. I killed Governor Kate Brown, and Senator Greg Walden, and a bunch of other terrorists in self defense at the fake ClubMed doctor yesterday, and am able to drive right past two police units with out a problem, even after explaining all of that on the internet yesterday.
We are doomed. There is no real law enforcement, they are all actors of the Screen Actor Guild and are hired to drive around and make it appear as though there are police. Meanwhile, the entire population of the town, everyone driving around and everyone pretending to shop at stores, are all terror soldiers, each one part of a large and powerful army that kills Americans at the places they shop for things they need. But I am the last American. The killing has already been done. The replacing of the people here has already been done. The SDA terror army preys on travelers, and people on vacation now since all of the citizens are either dead, or are held captive by the SDA terror army.
When I arrived at the Bi-Mart, in the parking lot, there were two more police units. One motorcycle officer, and one white pick-up truck marked “Public Safety”. The truck has orange cones in the bed, and the driver was wearing the kind of vest that ODOT workers wear. He was standing in the parking lot near the 6th Street entrance. Usually, at the Bi-Mart parking lot, when the vehicles marked “Public Safety” are there, it’s because there is a killing event planned at the parking lot. When that happens, they bring kidnapped victims, and Screen Actor Guild members and government officials participate in murdering large numbers of people right there in the parking lot, in the day time, while the store is open. They use large contraptions and machines, such as guillotine and olde world torture wracks. The contraptions are sometimes very creative. I can describe them if someone will just please help get me out of here.
Yesterday, at the fake doctor, Leppert gave me hard copy, paper prescriptions for one of my medicines. He used electronic prescribing to send another prescription for a different medicine. I told him I don’t use Fred Meyer Pharmacy anymore because it became to dangerous, and the people there are so incredibly rude and offensive. So I told him I use Bi-Mart. He said to me “You are going to go to Fred Meyer for this” I said no. He sent the prescription to Fred Meyer anyway.
So today, I passed by the Fred Meyer at the same time I passed by the two blue and white K-9 Unite fake police. As I drove by them, I yelled at them about a plumbing truck that was turning right, across from the Fred Meyer, and next to the Carl’s Junior. I shouted at them “look at the plumbing truck you idiots... the thing is marked ‘U-kill Plumbing’”. And that is what the name on the very large plumbing truck was, along with “we hunt down leaks” “We do pressure testing” and stuff like that. It’s all bullshit. The two police cars, with the dogs inside and the fake cops that are actually either terror soldiers or actors, or both, are a hit squad. Those three vehicles compose a hit squad in Grants Pass. That is the reality, and it’s advertised so that all of the other terror soldiers can see what is going on and won’t get in their way. U-Kill Plumbing.
Anyway, at the Bi-Mart, when I got into the line to drop off my prescription hard copy at the outdoor drop off window, a text message came into my phone. As soon as the bell sounded for the text, someone in the pharmacy said, “he is double scripting”. I went inside of the store at that point instead of dealing with the outdoor crowd, they too were saying “double script” in the line. Inside the store, I looked at my phone message, it was from Fred Meyer Pharmacy indicating that my prescription is ready. The bastards at the Bi-Mart nknew what my text message was about before I even looked at it. I did not call Fred Meyer. or make arrangements for that, and I asked Mr. Leppert to send the prescription to Bi-Mart. The reason he did not send to Bi-Mart, is so he can have fake DEA, 9or those fake K-9 cops try to arrest me for double scripting. That did not happen, and there was no further problems associated with that, to my knowledge. today. This explanation is necessary for real public safety people to understand that there are so many ways that the #SAGClubMed will do terror oriented treasonous crimes.
After twenty minutes, my prescription was ready at the Bi-Mart. While waiting, I shopped through the store, and walked around lighting my lighter every few minutes briefly like I always do. At least two SDA terror soldiers launched inside of the store. One of them was behind me in the checkout line, her Nitrous Oxide ignited, it was rectally holstered, and the tanks, when ignited, turn the terrorists into rockets, and they launch, like a rocket. That happened, and the terror soldier bounced into a boat that is on display on the wall at the Bi-Mart, then bounced to the ground, and then launched some more out of the front door and into the parking area.
I made my purchase and came home.
=====================================
There is a lot more to know about yesterday’s visit to the ClubMed fake doctor. My memory is getting fuller. Besides the people who I reported here that attacked me, there were others as well, one of them was a very large nurse, a man they called “Tiny”. He weighs approximately 450 pounds and is about 6′2″ in height. Tiny also attacked me yesterday as I was making the new appointment for my next visit in three months. I stay optimistic that there will be some help each time I make a new appointment at the fake doctor.
No one will help. There are no people in USA that can help. They have all been killed and replaced by terror soldiers armed with Nitrous Oxide/Versed airborne poison gas.
Also, the man who I said was Scott Lyter, he was also killed at the fake doctor while attacking me with the gas and a sword in the waiting area prior to my appointment. I had the man’s name incorrect. His name is Dana Lyter, not Scott Lyter. I think Scott and Dana are brothers. He walked into the lobby, went to the reception counter, he spoke with Boo, and then Boo pointed towards where I was seated in the waiting area. Dana Lyter asked Boo for “a loaner”, and Boo handed Dana a sword that he retrieved from beneath the service counter. Dana brought the loaner sword over to where I was seated, and pointed it at me. I commented on the “sharp and pointy sword that he had there”. I was able to block the sword with the clip board that the patients are given to fill out a questionnaire. The clip board was useful in defending, and turning the sword around and into Dana Lyter, inside of the fake doctor office. His internally holstered Nitrous tank popped from the sword piercing it, and the gas filled the room. I escorted Dana to the door of the office, and then threw him out the front door. He stumbled into the parking area. I came back inside of the waiting area, and lit my lighter to clear the air. There was some commotion, and I explained to others in the room that I was forced to do what I did, there were no choices.
That is about the time when Kate Brown, who was seated in the waiting area behind me, also burst of gas ignition.
As you may recall, I saw Dana driving Scott’s grey Caravan the day Safari brought the African Lions, that is why I thought he was Scott. He followed me to the doctor visit, Karen Lyter always follows me to the doctor visits ever since the first time I went there about four years ago. If Scott or Dana Lyter have followed me also, I either did not see them, or don’t remember seeing them, or would not necessarily recognize them since they are not friends of mine. They are terrorists who live in a house on “MySreet that belonged to man named “Archuletta”, they killed Archuletta, and have lived in his house for about fifteen years. Archuletta was the school bus driver when my children went to the local schools many years ago. Karen Lyter, who drives a white Dodge Caravan with vinyl lettering on the rear window that says “Mona Vie” on it, always has followed me to the fake doctors office, along with Loreena Chapman and Joan Phillips.
The Lyter terror cell is associated with Jim Sigel Chevrolet Automotive Center terror cell on 7th Street in Grants Pass. At Jim Sigal Automotive Center, I witnessed the use of a 50 Caliber machine gun mounted on a army jeep, and used to shoot people who were tied up against a block wall. That happened about ten years ago. There were television personalities there at the time. Also, at Jim Sigal, I witnessed the killing of a large number of Boy Scouts, about twenty of them, who were wearing their Boy Scout Uniforms in the parking area at an event if some kind, when men with swords ran through the crowd of them and cut all their heads off. The men were Screen Actor Guild and government officials.
No one will help stop the killing. It continues.
==============================================
If you can read this, please call US Military and ask them to look at this account. It’s important. If there are no US Military, please call the Mexican Military. If there are none there, please call Japanese Military. Do not call on European Military, that will make things worse.

Volvo recalls 219,000 cars for a piping problem
STOCKHOLM | Volvo Cars, owned by the Chinese Geely, recalls 219,000 cars because of a fragility of fuel pipes in the engine compartment, it was reported Wednesday with a spokesman for the manufacturer.
Volvo intends to "preemptively" control 11 of its diesel models - including its two luxury SUV XC60s and XC90s - marketed in 2015 and 2016 on "[its] key markets as well as [its] smaller markets", said spokesman at AFP.
Some 37,000 cars are recalled in Sweden, 31,000 in the United Kingdom and 26,000 in Germany, its three main European customers. The manufacturer does not give more details for the rest of its markets.
Eventually, failures can lead to fuel leaks in the engine compartment, says the manufacturer.
According to him, no accident related to this anomaly has been identified.
Volvo Cars has sent a letter to all concerned customers asking them to "contact the nearest Volvo dealer without delay to rectify the problem," the spokesman said.
Acquired by American automaker Ford in 2010, Volvo Cars has dramatically improved its accounts and brand image. He also bet on autonomous cars, where he is today one of the most advanced.
In 2017, when it broke a new sales record, the group announced that it would launch only electric or hybrid models starting in 2019, promising the "historic end" of vehicles equipped only with a combustion engine. combustion.
The results of the manufacturer for its 2018 fiscal year are expected February 7.
