The last night for our #2017christmastree🎄 and I almost cried. This break was amazing and filled with great moments. The year was overall very good but definitely not what I had originally hoped for. That being said I don’t harbor any long lasting negative associations or ill will to 2017 the way I did for 2016. In 2016 I literally spent most of my time wrapped in a haze of depression and suicidal thoughts. As hard as moments were in 2017 I had very few where I was buried in my own cycle of negativity. Did I lose 100 lbs and stay completely on track with lifestyle changes? No. Did I do every single thing I set out to do in 2017? Not exactly. But I don’t have regrets or feelings of guilt and shame. Im still here and alive and filled with another years worth of experience and insight. Here’s to living and learning and applying it to #2018 because I’m fucking living and that’s amazing!
