It’s often helpful to have been here, Tumblring, since 2014, Season 1.* You know where the bodies are buried, usually recall who did or said what when, and almost always remember when you’ve seen particular photos before. All the photos on this post were taken, uploaded, and posted on the same days as the events they represent in 2017 and in 2019. (Brian subscribes to the Tumblr Economy Package, and is limited to using only 10 images per post, otherwise he would use more lovely photos from those events.)

But… if you look on the Getty Images website, you’ll see “Upload dates” of the 27th and the 29th of January 2024. 🤯 What the… how could that be, Brian? You just said the photos were uploaded on the same day they were taken.

They were. How else did Outlander Online, and fans on Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and elsewhere post them earlier than January of this year?

Remember when 🙃 Getty Images changed a server and all photo upload dates were, well, updated? It’s similar to when you might transfer your photos from one hard disk to another. The new disc retains data, such as when the photo was taken and any text included in the EXIF of that photo. However, the upload date changes, from the date of the original or the last upload, to the date you uploaded the photos to the new disk.

So… Getty Images uploaded the 2017 photos to another server on 27 January, and 2019’s on 29 January, 2024. 😃

I haven't listened to taz in YEARSSSS at this point, like SO MANY YEARS, but I saw one too many people saying that the new campaign was super reminiscent of all the stuff that made balance so great, and I was already thinking about dnd a lot for unrelated reasons, so I decided to give it a listen and YOU WERE ALL RIGHT. WHY IS IT SO GOOD.

Ok tumblr, having seen one of the most stupid, godawful election takes I expect to see this whole night - from a blog I usually trust for good takes! - I'm gonna try to steer clear for a bit. How easily people who are worried about trans rights under labour (who look to have the first elected trans candidate coming on the isle of wight!) forget the genuine fear of many jewish members under the previous leader, and the previous leader's continued dismissal of their fears.

#do i need to be explicit: i want a ceasefire i want a leftwing government i want trans rights #i also want actual vocal and meaningful support for ukraine not jezza's appeasement #i want someone who can talk to both sides in ni and tell both sides to grow up #i want someone who cares more about the party movement actually than his own cult of personality #i voted for jc as a member! i campaigned for him in 2017 and 2019 - and by 2019 we were NOT winning that support back #by far the majority of my trans friends are delighted by this victory #not least as i believe we'll have a government more likely to listen to pressure from trans and human rights groups on this #sigh #anyway #oh YEAH baby we are taxing private schools we are renationalising the railway we are NOT drilling the fuck out of the north sea #edit: lol no the greens fucked the labour candidate in iow east

i think i gotta pl;ay fallout 4 ..

#YAPPING this morninh #i tried watching the show i DIDNT LIKE IT. i would rather play the games #in middle school i tried fallout3 but i never felt incentivized to explore the world after getting out of the vault .#i think beth esda games are just like that though idk. ive been playing wolfing stein 2 (2017) and it feels like. beth esda uncharted #i think its just bc its an action adventure and you have like a little team and so far it hasnt been open world the way it was advertised #but ive been getting into the lore of the world in falloiut and im really enjoying it so maybe my game tastes have changed idk its worth a #shot :D i watched this video abt ghoul being an embodiment of the mythologized wild west genre in american pop culture history and how #pervasive a fantasy like that is. the continuation of manifest destiny and rooted in white supremacy yk. but also through the fallout lens #of 'Look at this idealized nuclear family/ american dream and look who it excludes look how it fails' and its really making me wanna try #playing again. i think one of my biggest flaws that i hate is that i cannot tolerate playing old games that are ugly in retrospect .... i #just cant.... i cant play the first red dead its too ugly im sorry... but i WILL research the lore and stuff #anyway thats why i think ill try 4. im just worried i wont like it bc you know.. i like platform action adventures.. not corny shit like #uncharted but idk maybe its an antiquated way of designing games but i like levels i like being given a campaign. i think my favorite way a #game works is like the way red dead does it. the story progresses but you can also explore on your own time. and the world changes as the #story progresses. idk i think i just maybe am not the target audience for any bethesda game LMFAO. anyway if anyone wants to give some #wise words regarding this Advice opinions etc feel free to send asks leave replies dm me :D

it’s the way i’ve wanted to read all the young dudes ever since the author started publishing it on ao3 but i’ve never made myself do it bc of being a survivor of the marauders fans bullying back in 2017-2018 tumblr bc i posted stuff about snape LMAOO truly an extraordinary time on harry potter tumblr, the marauders fans were so vicious back then i actually avoided every single marauders content like the plague until like last year because the bullying made me feel physically nauseous whenever stumbling upon the content please-

This idea that Taylor always wins and shouldn’t be surprised is kinda crazy when you actually look at the numbers. Or the fact that some voters have openly stated they aren’t voting for her bc they think she has won enough.
