This is not an attack towards a group of people but it bothers me when people accidentally spread misinformation about something I’m dear to...

Dear Daniel is not a little girl and he and Hello Kitty are not a lesbian couple And I can prove it-

The original article behind this idea was made back in 2014 trying to cash in from the “Hello Kitty is not actually a cat” comment by her creator and it has no real source for their comment. If it’d had any real factual evidence it’d most likely source it

Also in case you’re wondering, the original “creator” saying Hello kitty is actually a little girl is also proven to be out of context. 

The person behind that comment didn’t work for Sanrio, she did a sociological study (and book) of the character during the 40th anniversary celebration, with her stating “She was a bright little girl with a heart of gold” and that she’s always seen the character as a little girl.

Christine R Yano does not work directly with Sanrio. She might have during the 40th anniversary but not directly with the Sanrio higher ups. She does know a lot about the character but she’s not her original creator.

Her original creator is Yuko Shimizu and she’s not even involved with the character anymore either, that goes to Yuko Yamaguchi.

Funnily enough, after the rumor that she was a little girl went around, she has expressed that “she designed the character to be a little girl“ this putting some validity into the rumor... years later after it went around but it’s source was funded on a big misconception v( =/ )v

And before you call me out or whatever, no I'm not against an LGBT couple in the Sanrio roster or in the Hello Kitty universe. Im pretty sure that's eventually gonna happen, maybe soon, but I dont think itd be with such an established character that's already boyfriend with Kitty
