new discoveries on TEAM HANDSOME

previously on TEAM HANDSOME: Tucker Rule stated his induction was “when thursday did one of the earlier tours with my chemical romance”. using concertarchives, we can basically narrow this down to warped '04 or march 2007.

new discoveries: some absolute madman on livejournal has a photobucket full of images of various MCR guys, very nicely organized into folders with the images serially numbered. i've figured out how to use google sheets to mass-access serially numbered photobuckets, which is very fucking helpful, because:

one of these MCR guys is none other than JEFF PEREIRA, tour manager and known member of TEAM HANDSOME. and now i have access to roughly 60 images of him. a small number of these contain decent views of his right inner bicep, the location of his TEAM HANDSOME tattoo. only two of them visibly have the tattoo. here are the images in question:

those three are no tattoo. i don't have the SLIGHTEST clue when the first one is from (nor who any of the other guys are) i know now. that’s One Cool Guy the 9-piece ska band that he was the sole roadie and honorary 10th member of. i suspect the latter two may be warped '05. numerous other pictures from warped '05 with him featured far less prominently also appear to show a lack of tattoo there.

these two, tiny as they are, have the tattoo! the second one features the prorev sets, and while those weren't exclusive to prorev itself (got used internationally both before and after prorev), that still definitely was in the second half of 2007.

now, to briefly go back to Tucker's interview, he states that he (more or less) was brought into Team Handsome via Jeff. the key thing here is that Jeff must have already been a member of Team Handsome by the time Tucker was inducted.

recall that previously the possible tours were basically narrowed down to warped '04 or march 2007. if I'm correct about Jeff not having the tattoo during warped '05, that definitely eliminates warped '04 for Tucker's join date.

so, presumably, we can conclude that Tucker Rule was inducted into Team Handsome during March 2007.
