Sound system dan rekomendasi kapasitas penonton

Nah ini... Sound system ini bauwanyakkkk wes paket e rek. Buat konser sekelas rampal, sampek buat konter hp promo itu ya namanya sound system. Jadi baiknya, sebelum kalian nanya spesifikasi sound yang kalian belum paham. Mending kalian konsul dulu ke vendornya dengan menyebutkan jenis acara yang akan kalian buat. Misal; konser (500-~audience), gigs (100-200audience), akustik (20-100audience), seminar, wedding, dll. Yang penting sampaikan ke vendor bahwa acara kalian ini target audience nya berapa dan venue nya indoor/outdoor. Senantiasa jumlah chatnya akan sangat berkurang jika informasi itu lengkap ditangkap oleh vendor. Biar enak gitu rekomendasi nya. Oke?

Ampli/amplifier

Ampli ini adalah pengeras suara. Beberapa alat memang akan lebih enak kalau dikasik ampli ya, seperti gitar, bass, dan keyboard. Tujuannya apa? Untuk kenyamanan playernya. Jadi akan jelas dalam mendengarkan apa yang mereka mainkan. Serasa dipeluk dari belakang lah itu si player2. Format ampli ini akan sangat cocok jika digunakan di acara yang emang gigs raw gitu. Jadi jarak penonton dan player hampir tidak ada. Dan akan terjadi crowd surfing kemana2. Format ini sangat cocok loh! Intinya fuck penonton lah untuk urusan audionya tp untuk live experience nya akan sangat dapet!

Nah kekurangannya. Ketika di venue yang sempit dan (budgetmu ndak nutut) penggunaan ampli akan dirasa sangat sia2. Karena akan sangat bising untuk penonton. Kasarnya tuh, yang puas cuma playernya aja. Paham a rek? Hehehe

Oh iya tambahan. Tidak semua alat cocok/bisa dimasukkan ke ampli. Misal: cello, brass, drum, dan flute. Ayolaaaah

Tp semua instrumen insyaAllah bisa masuk ke mixer tanpa ampli. Oke?

Sistem direct

Nah direct ini maksutnya langsung ya anak2... Maksutnya tanpa adanya amplifier ada tuh yang namanya monitor. Jadi instrumen masuk semua ke mixer, diproses sedemikian rupa, lalu dikeluarkanlah hasil itu ke penonton (lewat sound out / PA) dan ke player (lewat monitor). Kelebihannya. Suara yang keluar akan balance untuk dinikmati penonton. Kekurangan: panitia harus menyediakan waktu sound check minimal 30 menit tiap band sebelum acara dimulai. Karena semua tata suara alat yang ada tergantung pada soundman, player tidak punya kendali penuh atas suara alat2nya. Tp ya mosok soundman e pengen band e elek se rek? Kan ya sing malu ya vendor e dewe kalok jelek hasil e? Yakannnn?

Monitor

Monitor ini lo ya. Bukan monitor layar. Fungsinya sama kayak ampli. Untuk menyamankan para pemain band untuk mendengar apa yang mereka mainkan. Ya mosok dia main gitar tp ndak denger suara gitarnya yakaaan? Nah jumlah monitor ini sesuai paket yang disewa sih. Biasanya 2000watt - 3000watt itu dapet monitor 2pcs. Lalu 5000watt bisa dapet monitor 4-6pcs. Intinya jumlah monitor ini selalu konfirmasi sama vendor ya. Karena nanti ternyata acaramu yang main TOKYO SKA PARADISE tp monitormu cuma 2. Lha kan drummer e denger apa rekkk lek ndak dikasik monitor? Masa 2 tok dibagi orang 10? Ayo laaaah

Mic vocal

Nah ada 2 tipe mic vocal menurut media penyambungnya yaitu Mic Kabel dan Mic Wireless. Mic kabel ya pake kabel, mic wireless ya ndak pake kabel. Kan artinya wire kabel terus less artinya kurang. Alias kurang kabel. Jadi tentukan prioritasmu. Kalo yang main JKT48 / Ngancuk Crew ya mic wireless rekkkk mosok mic kabel kan nantik mbulet ditengah2 ayolahhhhh wong pencilakan e koyok ngono ya? Huwakakakaak. Ayolah dinalar dewe ya pake mic wireless apa mic kabel. Okeee?

Even on a expedition to the Kabobo Massif mountain range in the Congo,I made it back on time to the Pasadena Symphony rehearsal with full blown Dengue Fever and a touch of Malaria.(Some of you know I was born in Texas...so an element of exaggeration is excepted)So not long ago, three months, I had a gig at a Country Club out in the Desert and somehow loading the night before I must have sprained my 2nd finger lifting the 2000watt Bass Subwoofers into the Sprinter and over stretched the Flexxo Tendous and damaged the Arrecxtor Pili muscel in my left hand....the hand that is responsible for intonation...vibrato...melody...feeling....almost everyting as its the most crucial finger.Its the biggest and strongest finger and here are the stills from that gig. The grimace, the screwed up face...my eyes were wet with tears at every run up the fingerboard due to the pain. If I forgot and tried to vibrate with the damaged finger...YiksI! I wished for a water boarding torture If it would stop this.I understand why its such an important theory.
