Read the full call to action here.
Tomorrow, November 29th, the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the #BDS movement is calling for an all day social media storm. Our physical and digital actions can be used together to strengthen our demands: Permanent ceasefire and lifting the siege to stop Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Lawful sanctions on Israel, including a #MilitaryEmbargo. Pressure on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue arrest warrants for Israeli leaders. Click here for prepared messages and images to use for the social media storm. Over the last 7 weeks, millions of you have taken to the streets for the largest protests the world has seen in the last 20 years! We are grateful to each one of you who, through your voices and creative actions, have built up unprecedented grassroots power to end Israel’s genocidal war against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza. Yet, Western governments are continuing to arm, fund and provide political cover for Israel’s genocide. We must act urgently to end all state, corporate and institutional complicity with Israel’s genocidal apartheid regime. Palestinian lives and livelihoods literally depend on it. To this end, and as time has shown, BDS is the most effective form of solidarity with the Palestinian liberation struggle. Tomorrow, we call for escalating worldwide peaceful mobilizations and expressions of meaningful solidarity to stop the genocide including: 1. Whenever feasible, organizing peaceful disruptions, sit-ins, occupations, etc. targeting  policymakers, as well as the corporate enablers of genocide and apartheid (arms manufacturers, investment firms), and institutions (media, universities, cultural spaces, etc.). 2. Disrupting the transport of weapons, or weapon parts, to Israel, including in transit states, by supporting trade unions refusing to handle such shipments, as has been done in Belgium, US, and the Spanish State, and as expressed by trade unions in India, Turkey, Italy and Greece.  3. Pressuring parliaments and governments to cancel existing military contracts and agreements with Israel, as Colombia’s president publicly espoused, and as demanded by the BDS movement in Brazil, a demand supported by civil society and more than 60 parliamentarians in the country. 4. Intensifying all strategic economic boycott and divestment campaigns against complicit corporations, and escalating campaigns to cut all ties to apartheid Israel and its complicit academic and cultural institutions as well as sports teams. Mobilizing your community, trade union, association, church, social network, student government/union, city council, cultural center, or other organization to declare itself an Apartheid Free Zone (AFZ) on November 29th, if it hasn’t already, and organize a solidarity event or action on November 29th. 5. Pressuring your elected officials, where relevant, through direct communication or collective direct action, to demand real pressure on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to urgently prosecute Netanyahu and all other Israeli officials responsible for genocide, apartheid, and war crimes. If not now, when? In solidarity, The Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC)

The Gaza Monologues: Audio Production in Solidarity with Palestine!
The Gaza Monologues is a collection of testimonies from Gazan youth in 2010, after the first war on Gaza, collected and adapted for stage by ASHTAR Theatre in Ramallah (@ASHTARTheatre), and performed here by 26 people from several countries for International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People on November 29, 2023. In lieu of copyright purchases, ASHTAR Theatre requests donations to their programs in the West Bank.
This is an audio-only production of The Gaza Monologues, but is posted as a video to include subtitles. Most monologues are in English, but there are two in Arabic, two in Spanish, and one in French. English subtitles are available for all monologues. Currently, subtitles in Arabic, Spanish, and French are only up for the monologues that are spoken in each respective language, though we’ll try to get subtitles up for others in the near future. The script of The Gaza Monologues is available in those languages and more.
youtube
Produced by me, audio editing and additional coordination by Hannah, and art by @pocketsizedquasar.
Thanks to all the voice actors, including @saltqueer, @to-every-house-you-enter, @hyeoni-comb, @datfearlessfangirl, @shooshopath, @cryptenby, @exsequar, and many others – see below the cut for full credits!
Alt text for art: A digital painting of a Palestine sunbird sitting perched on olive branches. it is a small black and blue songbird with a teal-turquoise shimmer on its head and upper wings. In the background is a faded scene of a beach at sunset in the colors of the Palestinian flag: red, green, black, and white. Handwritten text at the top left reads, “The Gaza Monologues,” and the artist’s signature “@pocketsizedquasar” is written over one of the branches on the bottom left.

forget voter fraud; rb this post with a receipt proving you have given $5 or more to any of the following orgs or funds, and i will draw you free propaganda
more specifically, i will make you a digital sketch! however, if you give over 20, you get a flat color, over 30, and you also get very basic shading, over 50, and you get a fully rendered piece. to include those unable to give, i will randomly choose one reblogger per round to also get their own sketch propaganda, should they choose to accept it. so one reblog = one entry! if you have multiple receipts, i will let you decide if you want them to count cumulatively towards one piece or if you'd like multiple. examples of previous commissions here!!
no hateful content, no nsfw, and for the purposes of this blog, whatever you ask me to draw has to be at least vaguely related to the tournament. as propaganda, your drawing will be posted publicly on this blog, which is the guiding sentiment for most of these rules
i tried to focus on either on-the-ground or direct actions, although there are a few where that's not the case. if you have any suggestions, feel free to leave them. orgs and funds below:
gaza evacuation funds from operation olive branch (also contains other gaza mutual aid links), gazafunds, or those that have been vetted or shared by el-shab-hussein, nabulsi, palipunk, ibtisams, 90-ghost, or another palestinian blogger
sudanese gfm and refugee support (there are some in el-shab-hussein's pinned as well)
peace african hope relief fund in eastern drc
kakuma queer
gaza home/business repair funds
clinic supporting refugees in chad
khartoum kitchen
other orgs and funds vetted by sudanese diaspora
mona's initiatives providing direct aid in gaza
the sudan solidarity collective
the panzi foundation
pious projects (period-related relief)
life for gaza
help gaza children
care for gaza
watermelon relief: aid for displaced families in gaza
friends of the congo
atlanta solidarity fund
landback
palestine action
much of my post was based off of this post by karinyecrafts, who is doing free commissions for people who donate $5 or more to salma's evacuation fund and rb with their receipt. salma is a 13 year old type 1 diabetic currently in egypt. her father and brothers are in gaza. your support will help her get insulin and reunite her family
feel free to replicate absolutely anything about this idea. otherwise, consider rbing this post and don't forget your daily click!

A couple weeks ago, I led a zine making workshop/Palestinian solidarity event for my local Asian racial solidarity group. I gave a primer on zines and DIY as well as the political roots of DIY publishing, and some tutorials. The theme was reconnecting to resistance in an open learning circle since the Asian continent has a long and wide breadth history of resistance. We provided zine making supplies and I brought both some Palestinian zines and a curated collection of examples from my personal zine library! It was also potluck style.
It was kind of interesting leading this workshop! I don't consider myself to be an expert on revolutionary histories, there's a lot of theory and info to catch up on, but I read a lot of PFLP and Palestinian resistance writing when I was in my undergrad because I was able to meet Joe Sacco who was the cartoonist who published Footnotes in Gaza and Palestine (around 2017?). I also designed some posters for his Toronto visit in partnership with the TPFF. Most significantly, I read Strategy for the Liberation of Palestine by the PFLP - it is both a historical document and a live program that lays out the fundamentals of Palestinian liberation as well as localized analysis (160~ pages). There were Asian people in attendance originating from all over the continent and of varying faiths but no one was familiar with historic Palestinian resistance, only with the current narrative about israhelli occupation - so of course I was happy to to talk about Ghassan Kanafani, Leila Khaled, and the PFLP and the historic 3rd world solidarity movements across Asia!
Most people weren't familiar with zines either, so I was also very sparkly-eyed in info dumping about zines to the room! One of the participants brought musakhan rolls which are a traditional Palestinian dish... they were SO yummy... I did have more than I should have... and they included the recipe as one of the zine pages!!! There were also many Filipinos present resulting in me going home with a lot of leftover turon (it helped me survive my ongoing depressive episode in April lol)
Overall it was so nice having conversations with others regardless of where they were at in their politicization journey. There is always more to learn, and more time to spend with one another...and we can all grow together too 🫶🏼 politicization can be very personal and I think as long as we can develop principles, sense for collective, and maintain revolutionary imagination - we can survive together!
Here are some of the Palestinian zines that I brought for people to sift through! I have like 20+ pdfs on my computer and more from encampments that I've visited and will hopefully scan soon!
Palestine: An Introduction from DecolonizePalestine ABCs of Occupation & Resistance by Rachel Mattson The Palestinian Struggle for National Liberation by OBF-HRD/Manila University BDS: What it is, Why it matters by Leila Abdula Razzaq Digitized copy of Ghassan Kanafani by Anni Kanafani (Beirut, 1973), found via the internet archive! From Galilee to Gaza, A voice from Palestine from CrimetheInc. Handala and Other Symbols of Palestinian Resistance & Revolution by...me! (I'll add a link later)

This is very good and helpful for our American friends. There are more suggestions in the article so please read it.
So here is a handful of suggestions for Americans and others who seem disoriented and overwhelmed.
First: go beyond digital activism. A wave of anti-Trump street demonstrations recently swept across the US. In the age of social media, that might seem like an outdated or secondary tactic. But it’s not. In a time of effortless communication and online petitions, physical work matters twice as much. It sends a nonverbal message of urgency and sacrifice, and – more importantly – signals an invitation to fellow citizens to join. These protests should be regular and designed for the long haul. They should be citizen-led. Initially, flexible horizontal structures, ready for quick response, turned out to be more effective in practice in our experience.
Second: no ageism, please. As our own history shows, opposing populism in power is possible only if intergenerational solidarity takes place. We heard a reporter sneer that the New York, anti-Trump protest crowd skewed old. So did ours in Poland! Yet over time, younger people joined in as the burdens of populism became more personal. Again – diversity matters most. Not just in communication tools, but in the social makeup of the protest movement.
Third: it’s always the constitution, stupid. One hallmark of authoritarianism is the erosion of constitutional law. It’s not about abstract legal theories – it’s about changing the rules of the state without formal approval. Donald Trump’s musings about a potential third term are a prime example. The US constitution clearly forbids it. But the very mention signals a willingness to operate outside the legal order. Polish populists broke the constitution almost immediately after taking power. The consequences are still with us. What helped was keeping a detailed record of key legal violations.
Fourth: don’t leave. Populists in power try to persuade neutral officials, such as public prosecutors, to resign from their government positions. Ideally, they want to rid their political opponents from the country. But don’t let them force you into exile, if you can help it; resistance on the ground will be crucial, just as it was for figures in the anti-communist opposition in eastern Europe before 1989.
Fifth: plan ahead. Perhaps the most psychologically difficult task is extending a hand to those with whom you have political disagreements. The facts are hard to ignore: in democracies, populists win through elections. Hardliners won’t change, but the 10-20% of swing voters in the centre can be decisive.

NUMEROLOGY, TAROT, AND THE 2024 ELECTION
According to what I calculate:
Trump is a 4 (Emperor - typical) - 06/14/1946
Hillary is a 3 (Empress) - 10/26/1947
Kamala is a 5 (Hierophant) - 10/20/1964
Based on previous calculations, in 2016 election Trump was Justice or Strength (11), and Hillary was the Hermit (09) - and we all know how that turned out.
Based on my knowledge of Numerology and the 2024 election:
Trump is a 10 - Wheel of Fortune
Kamala is a 13 - Death Card
Because I am pro-Blue - I would see Trump as spinning around aimlessly as the Wheel and see Kamala as a permanent and lasting change (Death). In this matter I see (and hope) for a Kamala victory. Hillary may have had the 2016 expectation but look who Trump was in cahoots with.
Strictly speaking, Your Birth Number can only be one digit, but your Year Number should be two digits without reducing them farther. However, if you reduce the numbers as far as they will go, Trump becomes #1 - the Magician, and Kamala becomes #4 - the Emperor. The Magician can spin things to his advantage (or presumed advantage) but can also keep spinning aimlessly, but the Emperor is for solidarity, safety, and preservation.
I pray to The Goddess that I am right.

Sources and reading tips
At SAC’s courses and conferences, you get the most up-to-date reading tips on concrete trade union work. The books and articles listed below should be seen as a Swedish smorgasbord to pick from. You don’t have to consume the entire list to become a workplace organizer. Below are listed sources and reading tips related to each part of the book. They are available on the internet, at libraries, through the SAC publishing house Federativ and at the bookstore Syndikalistiskt forum. You can obtain SAC’s governing documents from your Local (LS) or digitally on SAC’s website (www.sac.se). Quotes in this book that were originally formulated in Swedish have been translated into English. The sources from where the quotes are derived are accounted for below.

Luftwaffe performs 'Rapid Viking' exercise in Iceland
Diego Alves By Diego Alves 30/07/2023 - 10:00 in Military, Military Operations
The German Air Force (Luftwaffe) began what it called the "lean and mean" operation on Friday (28) to demonstrate its ability to move quickly to Iceland as part of a two-week exercise named "Rapid Viking".
From July 28 to August 10, six German Eurofighters and 30 military personnel from the 73 "Steinhoff" Squadron of the Tactical Air Force will be deployed at Keflavik Air Base, according to a statement. Once on site, the squadrons will carry out several daily training flights.
The Rapid Viking Exercise is an opportunity for the Air Force to demonstrate how it can move to Reykjavik “at supersonic speed,” said Lieutenant General Ingo Gerhartz, chief of staff of the service.
The Luftwaffe intends to serve as the "first response," he noted in the statement. "That's why we are training for a fast displacement with as few human and material resources as possible, especially in this scenario."
Tumblr media
Two A400M aircraft sent 25 tons of material and personnel to Iceland. The first plane carried nine pallets more personnel, while the second plane carried five pallets of material plus a hydraulic test bench.
On average, the Air Force would require between 130 and 150 tons of material to participate in an exercise, at a cost of up to €200 million, said Sergeant Oliver M. This amount of cargo can take up to a week to be "packaged", including three days just to load the pallets on the aircraft.
For Rapid Viking, the 25 tons of material, worth about €2 million, took only two days to be packed and one hour to be loaded into the aircraft.

A Luftwaffe squadron was last deployed in Iceland in 2012 as part of a NATO air policing initiative. Iceland is a member of NATO, but does not have its own armed forces. The allies show solidarity with the 375,000 inhabitants by temporarily reallocating forces to the island nation.
The invasion of Ukraine by Russia in February 2022 led the European military to reassess the state of their capacity stocks, as well as their ability to prepare for battle quickly. Last October, the German air force and naval troops carried out a rapid deployment in Estonia, participating in a month-long exercise dubbed the "Baltic Tiger" to test how quickly the services could provide reinforcements to the allies in need.
Last year, the Luftwaffe also held its first deployment in the Indo-Pacific, completing its goal of reaching Singapore less than 24 hours after takeoff from Neuburg Air Base in Bavaria.

Cheapest Qurbani 2025: Your Guide to Hassle-Free Qurbani Donation Online
Tumblr media
As we approach Eid Al-Adha 2025, the blessed festival of sacrifice, countless families around the world prepare to fulfil the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) by performing Qurbani. For many, finding the cheapest Qurbani options without compromising on quality, compliance, and impact can be challenging. At Muslim Charity UK, we are committed to making Qurbani accessible, transparent, and meaningful for all. In this comprehensive guide, discover everything you need to know about Qurbani 2025, including how to make a Qurbani donation online, what to expect, and why donating through Muslim Charity ensures the greatest benefit to those in need.
Why Qurbani Matters in 2025
Eid Al-Adha commemorates the ultimate act of submission by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he prepared to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command. Each year, Muslims worldwide mark this occasion by offering an animal sacrifice, symbolising devotion, gratitude, and solidarity with the less fortunate.
Spiritual Reward: Performing Qurbani brings immense spiritual benefits. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The smell from the sacrifice reaches Allah before the blood and flesh…” — a powerful reminder that our intentions and actions in charity are always seen and valued by the Almighty.
Social Impact: Qurbani meat is distributed among family, friends, and especially the needy. This act fosters community cohesion and ensures that vulnerable families have access to nutritious protein.
Global Solidarity: By choosing to donate your Qurbani online through reputable charities, your sacrifice can reach regions suffering from poverty, conflict, or natural disasters.
Planning Your Qurbani for 2025
1. Understand the Requirements
To fulfil your Qurbani obligation correctly, the sacrificial animal must meet certain criteria:
Type: Sheep, goat, cow, or camel (depending on your school of thought).
Age: Minimum age varies by animal (e.g., sheep/goat should be at least one year old).
Health: The animal must be free from defects such as lameness or severe illness.
2. Decide on Local vs. Global Qurbani
Local Qurbani: You arrange and perform the sacrifice in your own country. Costs typically include purchasing the animal, vet checks, slaughter, and distribution.
Global Qurbani: You donate through a charity that sources, sacrifices, and distributes meat in countries with greater need. This option often offers lower prices due to economies of scale and reduced overheads.
3. Look for the Cheapest Qurbani without Compromise
While searching for budget-friendly options, ensure the charity adheres to:
Shariah Compliance: All processes should be overseen by qualified scholars.
Transparency: You should receive proof of purchase, slaughter, and distribution.
Impact Reporting: Annual or post-Eid reports detailing where and how your Qurbani meat was distributed.
Why Choose Muslim Charity for Qurbani Donation Online?

Ethics and Values
I genuinely don't know why this has always been a harder sphere for me to delve into! Don't I know what my values are? What ethical dilemmas do I find more or less difficult? That's a good place to start: familiar ethical dilemmas.
It feels important to listen to this while trying to make your ethical decision.
The classic is the trolley experiment. It is so well known at this point that Mr. Beast included it in his Amazon show, "The Beast Games." One track has one of the most important people in your life (partner, friend, child), and the other has 5 strangers. Do you move the train, intentionally saving your person and killing the strangers, or let the train continue on the track, as objectively 5 lives are worth more than 1. I have decided to leave my answer not attached to my digital footprint.
In complete seriousness, the field of social work is composed of ethical dilemmas, some big, some small. It contributes to burnout or compassion fatigue, having to make all these micro decisions that may determine whether someone is housed tonight or not, or who out of a group of 20 will receive a spot in treatment.
At a micro level, working with individuals and families, an ethical dilemma I fear is what to do when someone discloses with me something I must report per the Code of Ethics. The dilemma becomes my professional obligation to report and break confidentiality or risk having my license being revoked to protect the client. I want to be greater, more powerful than the law! But of course that is why we don't work in solidarity, but in a team. Alternative responses, support, and not having to make all the decisions on your own make the work feel a little less daunting
