“In the Bible names reveal the character of persons, and commemorate important events. To illustrate we are taking a number of names somewhat at random. At the battle of Aphek Israel was defeated by the Philistines, losing thirty thousand footmen; Eli's two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain; the ark of God was taken by the Philistines; and when the sad news came to the wife of Phinehas, giving her life in childbirth, on her death bed she named the child Ichabod, which means "inglorious, "thus signifying that the glory had departed from Israel: "And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband" (1 Samuel 4:21). The name Moses means "drawer out, "and was given him by Pharaoh's daughter, as "she said, because I drew him out of the water" (Exodus 2:10). The name Samuel was given to the son of Elkanah and Hannah as a memorial to answered prayer. Samuel means "heard of God, "and was given him by his mother: "Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD" (1 Samuel 1:20). The human name of Jesus was given to our Lord because it means "Jehovah saves." When the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph to quiet his fears and suspicions concerning his espoused wife, Mary, he announced the birth of a son, and said "And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). “There is no one else who has the power to save us, for there is only one name to whom God has given authority by which we must experience salvation: the name of Jesus.” —Acts 4:12 (TPT)
“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” —Philippians 2:9‭-‬11 (ESV)
“Thus may the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and become more glorious through and in you, and may you [also be glorified] in Him according to the grace (favor and blessing) of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” —2 Thessalonians 1:12 (AMPC)
JESUS - there is no other name by which we may experience salvation! There is immense power in that name: Jesus. We are saved through that name. Our prayers are answered in that name. Miracles happen in His name. Lord Jesus, Your name be glorified forever! Amen! 🙏🕊️🙌

"THE BENEFITS OF FASTING"
WHY DO WE FAST? There are different kind of fasts. There are private fasts that you do privately: Matthew 6:16-18, “And whenever you are fasting, do not look gloomy and sour and dreary like the hypocrites, for they put on a dismal countenance, that their fasting may be apparent to and seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full already. But when you fast, perfume your head…

Pain is No Picnic. But, Is it Possible We Couldn't Grow Without It?
Pain is a bad thing. It certainly isn’t something we enjoy or want to experience; but, is it always bad? What can it possibly be Good For? Jesus offers us some insight: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine dresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he taketh away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit. (John 15:1-2 KJV) We often…

The Letters of Paul the Apostle to the Gentiles
Paul was a member of the Jewish Pharisees in the 1st century CE, who experienced a revelation of the resurrected Jesus Christ. In this vision, Jesus commissioned him to be the apostle (herald) to the Gentiles (non-Jews). After this experience, he traveled widely throughout the Roman Empire, spreading the "good news" that Jesus would soon return from heaven and usher in the kingdom of God on earth.
In the New Testament, we have 14 letters traditionally assigned to Paul, but the scholarly consensus now recognizes that of the 14, seven were written by Paul:
1 Thessalonians
Galatians
Philemon
Philippians
1 & 2 Corinthians
Romans
2 Thessalonians, Ephesians, and Colossians remain debatable among some scholars. The other major letters (1 &2 Timothy and Titus) were most likely written by disciples of Paul’s, using his name to carry authority. The letters that have survived range between 52 and 60 CE, and although we cannot pinpoint when Paul’s letters were collected, Clement, a bishop in Rome in the 90s CE, quoted from 1 Corinthians.
The Nature of the Letters
We understand these letters to be circumstantial. They were not written as systematic theology or as treatises on Christianity. The letters are responses to specific problems and circumstances as they arose in his communities. Paul spent time in cities establishing a group and then moved on. He received letters and sometimes reports with detailed questions or advice on how to settle conflicts. Unfortunately, when Paul’s letters were saved and circulated, the original letters from the communities were not preserved. The reconstruction of the original problems can only be determined by Paul’s responses.
Known as the most famous convert in history (from the Acts of the Apostles), Paul did not actually undergo conversion. Conversion assumes changing from one religious system to another, but at the time, there was no Christian system for him to convert to. Paul himself was ambiguous when it came to his self-identity:
To the Jews I became like a Jew... To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law) ... To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law) ... I have become all things to all people. (1 Corinthians 9:20-22)
In relation to what happened to Paul, it is better to follow what he says, in that he was 'called'. This is the tradition of the way in which the Prophets of Israel were called to their individual missions.
I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:11-12).
Paul argued that this experience gave him as much authority as the original circle in Jerusalem (Peter, James, and John). Paul’s call to be the Apostle to the Gentiles was shocking because, as he freely admitted, he had previously "persecuted the church of God" (Galatians 1:13). He never really explained what he did, nor why he did it. It is in Paul’s letters that the name Jesus is combined with Christ, the Greek for the Hebrew messiah ("anointed one"). Understood as a title, "Jesus the Christ", it became common as a phrase that indicated his identity and function.

Love Is…
4 Love is patient and is kind; love does not envy. Love does not brag, is not proud, 5 does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not irritable, does not keep a record of wrongs; 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are tongues, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with. — 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 | New Heart English Bible (NHEB) The New Heart English Bible is in the public domain. Everyone reading this, this is for you. God appointed that you would see this post at this time. He has a message for you, please don't ignore it.
The message is this: repent of your sins, and believe in Jesus! This life will not last forever. Some day, maybe some day soon, each and every one of us will stand before the Lord to be judged. For those who repent and receive God's offer of pardon through Lord Jesus' sacrifice, they will obtain eternal life. Those who refuse the Lord Jesus and die in their sins, they will receive condemnation and everlasting punishment. Please, I beg you, don't let yourself be counted among the latter!
If you read this and you want to know more, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
I love you all. I'll be praying for you!
Romans 10:9-13
"...9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing His riches on all who call on Him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”"
Titus 2:11-14
"11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, 12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession who are zealous for good works."
Titus 3:3-7
"3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
2 Thessalonians 1:5-10
"5 This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering— 6 since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels 8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might, 10 when He comes on that day to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed."
Revelation 20:11-15
"11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. From His presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

If you look for reasons on why your life “hasn’t started yet”, and begin to feel like “you’re missing out”- please know, you’re not. God has a plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 4:16, Psalm 40:4, Proverbs 3:5-6, Proverbs 16:20, Romans 8:5-8, Ephesians 3:12, 1 Thessalonians 5:24, & 2 Timothy 2:13. We never miss out on what’s going on with the physical world. The constant need to know everything, follow everything, watch everything, keep up with everything- it’ll never end. It’s a snake-swallowing-itself kind of experience. You miss one party, you fail one exam, you lose one friend, you fight with one of your parents, you don’t have one newer brand of phone, you don’t speak one more language, you don’t read one more book, you don’t listen to one song, you don’t watch that one movie, you don’t have that one license or degree or job- and we treat it like it’s the end of the world and the problem is, when we make our own plan, our own expectations the world, we lose sight and faith and humility for God’s plan for us. Yes, it’s unsettling for what goodness and merciful things will come, but at least you can rely on God to make something magnificent of you through it.

Hebrews 4:12 (NASB) . “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.”
“The Living Word” By In Touch Ministries:
“Through the Bible, God speaks personally to His children.”
“The Bible is the most amazing book ever written. God used human beings to record His thoughts and words in writing so that others could know Him (2 Peter 1:20-21). The One who spoke the universe into existence still speaks just as powerfully through the pages of the Bible that you hold in your hands.
At the moment of salvation, believers receive the Holy Spirit, and lines of communication with the Lord are established. Then, whenever the Scriptures are read, children of God can hear His voice, and the Spirit enables them to understand and put into practice what they have heard.
The Bible isn’t just a good book that’s filled with comforting words; Scripture is effective and always achieves God’s purpose (Isaiah 55:10-11). Today’s passage describes it as “active and alive,” and 1 Thessalonians 2:13 tells us the Word of God is “at work in you who believe.” This book has the power to change our life if we will believe the Lord and do what He says.
God uses the Bible to transform us from the inside out. Before reading Scripture, ask Him to help you hear and understand what He’s saying. As you believe and obey, your spiritual hearing will become more acute, and your time in the Word will become an intimate conversation with the Lord.”

I know I will probably experience some hate on this post, but it’s okay. I don’t live to please man 🙌🏼
If you can look at this photo and NOT see the demonic agenda of Halloween, you are blinded. 😵
I was walking through Michaels yesterday and saw all of this as I was checking out.
Witches, ouija boards, demons, the dead, fear, supernatural, ghosts, monsters, magic, spells, curses, mediums, palm reading, witchcraft, potions, all seeing eye…
These are things that NO follower of Christ should compromise with. Period
It’s a sad thing when you have churches doing “trunk or treats” while the members are even dressing as witches and passing out candy with monsters and demons on the wrappers… where have we gone? The church needs help. God help us.
“Chelsea, I saw you celebrating Halloween before!! Don’t be a hypocrite!” 🙄
Oh I know I used to! I used to be all about it. I used to dress up, go to the parties, and haunted houses…. But then the Lord opened my eyes and now I can’t compromise with the world. I just can’t.
“But Chelsea you’re ridiculous. It’s for fun and kids go out and get candy. Come on now..”🙄
Listen, go look up the history of how passing out candy on Halloween came about. Go look up how the costumes came about. While you’re researching, look up the Celtic history of Oct 31.
Then ask yourself, “does this glorify God?”
I understand that so many like to celebrate and try to “sprinkle Jesus on top“, I used to do the same, but the unfortunate fact is that you can’t.
This holiday is demonic. Just because you dress up your child as a Bible character does not make it of the Lord.
We have to be set apart. We are called to be set apart. How are we set apart if we look exactly like the world?
“Where are your scriptures Chelsea?? You can’t just talk all this talk and leave with nothing!!” 🙄
I’m glad you asked, here are just a FEW. 👇🏼
1 Corinthians 10:21 📖
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.
1 John 1:5
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all
3 John 1:11
Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.
Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
1 Thessalonians 5:22
Abstain from every form of evil.
Ephesians 4:27
Neither give place to the devil.
2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
-Don’t be upset with me. This is Gods Word. Speak to Him. We can’t twist it. We have to be fully committed to Him and without compromise. I know this can be hard when we are so used to it, but it’s time to say “enough” to Satan and not even allow him one day.
I tell you all of this because I love you.

Prayerlessness
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK
=========================
+ 2 Chronicles 15:7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
=========================
VERSE OF THE DAY
+ ROMANS 8:26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
=========================
SUBJECT: Prayerlessness
=========================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM CONSTANT IN PRAYER
I AM A WARRIOR
I AM LOVING
I AM CONNECT TO THE VINE
********************************
THOUGHTS:
=======================
Sometimes, we get to this season where we don’t want to pray; we feel like it’s a chore or a lot to do because we are taking away from our day. Every day, I pray for an hour in the morning, an hour in the afternoon, and 30 minutes or more of silence. I sit and wait for him to speak to me, and I do this every day, whether it’s the weekend or not and sure it takes away from things I want to do, but the point of prayer is to spend time with God and to separate ourselves from other things so we can put him first.
If we think about it, he put us first when he gave his son to us so that we could have eternal life, so all we have is time to give to him. Still, sometimes, we are prayerless because we feel we won't have time for other things if we pray. Still, my mother taught me early on that if I put God first, he’ll make time for everything I want to do. He indeed does. I study guitar in the evening, and when I get out of the silent prayer with him, I usually have 30 minutes to practice. I’ll rush to get my guitar, and I practice. Sometimes, I can squeeze 30 more minutes in before dinner of video games, but sometimes, if my prayer session lasts longer, I don’t get to do both; in my opinion, when we choose God over all the things we want to do we win spiritually, but sometimes we get into this season where we choice everything over him because we don’t want to stop doing our plans.
Genesis 3:10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
A lot of times in verses, you'll see Jesus stop and go pray, and he’ll leave everything to do this; you see Daniel go pray three times a day, and you read about Moses going to the mountaintop to talk, see they got away from everything else around them. Still, prayerlessness sometimes happens when we allow guilt or sin to keep us away because we feel that if we go to him, he will shun us, and he doesn’t; he doesn’t do any of that; if we listen carefully, he’ll talk to us about what we did, it's our anxiety that causes us to think he hates us are he's going to rain down brimstone on us, and he isn’t.
Adam and Eve refused to speak to God; they refused to communicate because they knew what they did was wrong and against what he said, and he never wanted us to be this way with him; he always wanted us to know he heard us when we speak, the bible tells us prayer continuously.
•1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

•Romans 12:12: Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and constantly pray.

•Colossians 4:2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful with thanksgiving.
In these verses, we see where God is saying talk to me, let me know what you are thinking, tell me about your day, and do it as much as you like; you're not bothering me, and a lot of times, people will tell you that you can talk to them, but then out of nowhere, they are annoyed by you. Still, I can say this: God isn’t like that; he desires for us to communicate, but a lot of times, we lose that momentum because we feel, oh wow, he wants all my time and he doesn’t,
As we do this, we are dying spiritually, and spiritual drought looks just like a plant that doesn’t get water, just like anything that requires maintenance; when we leave our prayer life like this, we are inviting things to go wrong, and that’s allowing the devil to get in the way the bible tells us to go to our room and shut the door, and that’s so we can have privacy with God. We can do it in secret without our phones, TV, or anything; it is just us and God and our thoughts, and that’s when we bring everything to him.
Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your room, and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your father who sees in secret will reward you.
***Today, we learned about praying to God and doing it all the time, and when we don’t, we are killing our relationship with him by ignoring him. Another thing, just in case we forget what to pray for, that is one of the reasons why the Holy Spirit is there to help us in our weakness, and he's there to intercede when we don’t know what to do. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”
Suppose we ignore him and do other things. In that case, we will come to a place where we are allowing ourselves to do anything, or we get into a rhythm of repeating sins, which we talked about his week; we can't continue to go on in sin, and when we don’t pray we are acceptable to do this why we must keep our selves protected and pray to God so he can show us what we are doing.
Earlier this week, we talked about Jesus knowing us, and even after we sinned, he knew we would do this sin. Still, when we do, we must go to him and say, Father, I'm sorry, and he will comfort you right where you are; he will hold you close; he loves every side; he even loves the side Adam and Eve was hiding he just wants to show us a better way to respond.
For the Holy Spirit to teach us and show us, we must go to him and not hide what we are doing; I am so honest when I go to prayer with God. I am so direct and honest in a humble way ,because I don’t want to hide how I am feeling and what I am doing. God just wants to be our friend, our guide, and I hear many people say no, he doesn’t want to be our friend; he does. He's your father and your shepherd, but it’s up to us to go to him and get out of this season of prayerlessness,

PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father, thank you for today. We ask you to help us to pray to you regardless and not to hide when we do wrong but to help us be strong and come before you and hear your voice. Lord, help us to spend more time with you and to love you more. We want to be on the straight and narrow and spend our life dwelling in you and not in this robotic way but in this authentic way, lord, give us more understanding and more wisdom and knowledge; lord, we give you our life and our situations, lord we ask you to please give us revelation into things we are praying for and hear us when we speak to you, lord we love you and thank you so much for everything. In Jesus' Name Amen

The spiritual gift of exhortation is often called the “gift of encouragement.” The Greek word for this gift is parakaleo. It means to call to one’s side to help, come alongside, beseech, exhort, to encourage and to strengthen.
¹¹ “Therefore, encourage one another and strengthen one another, as indeed you are doing.”
—1 Thessalonians 5:11
The primary means of exhortation is to remind the hearer of the powerful and amazing works of God in Christ, particularly in regard to the saving work of Jesus in the atonement. We see Paul commanding Titus to use this gift:
⁹ “In addition, he must hold firmly to the authentic message he has been taught, so that he may be able both to exhort with sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict it.”
—Titus 1:9
¹¹ “For the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to the entire human race. ¹² It teaches us to reject godless ways and worldly desires, and in the present age to lead lives that are temperate, just, and godly, ¹³ while we await our blessed hope, the appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. ¹⁴ He gave himself for us in order to deliver us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people as his own who are eager to do good. ¹⁵ These are the things you should expound. Exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you.”
—Titus 2:11-15
He also charges Timothy to:
² “preach the message; be persistent in doing so, whether in season or out of season; convince, reprove, and encourage, but with great patience and instruction.”
—2 Timothy 4:2
The Spirit of God gives this gift to people in the church to strengthen and encourage those who are wavering in their faith. Those with the gift of exhortation can uplift and motivate others as well as challenge and rebuke them in order to foster spiritual growth and action. The goal of the encourager is to see everyone in the church continually building up everyone else in the body of Christ and glorifying God.

⁸ “If it is a gift of exhortation, we should encourage....”
—Romans 12:8
²³ “When he arrived and perceived the grace of God, he rejoiced, and he encouraged them all to remain faithful to the Lord with resolute devotion, ²⁴ for he was a good man, filled with the Holy Spirit and with faith. And a large number of people were added to the Lord.”
—Acts 11:23-24
²¹ “After they had proclaimed the good news in that city and gained a considerable number of disciples, they returned to Lystra and then moved on to Iconium and Antioch. ²² They strengthened the disciples and encouraged them to persevere in the faith, saying, “It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships in order to enter the kingdom of God.”
—Acts 14:21-22
³² “Judas [Barsabbas] and Silas, who were themselves prophets, spoke at length to strengthen and encourage the brethren.”
—Acts 15:32
