Pluto in the houses
Disclaimer. This article touches on unpleasant topics for conversation. Please don't be sad when reading it. Thank you:)
Pluto is responsible in astrology for transformations, death, destruction, power, sex, crises. This planet is one of the most difficult to interpret the natal chart, because it shows skeletons in the closet.
Pluto in 1st house:
1.This is an indicator of mental endurance. Such people have experienced many terrible and difficult situations. For example, the death of loved ones, fire, drugs, alcoholism, depression, suicide attempts. Their life is filled with stages to which they try not to return. What's gone is gone.
2.I noticed that such people always have some unusual scar or birthmark, a mole on their face
3.Such people can really be a leader in a group or is in authority. The paradox is that they are most often not very talkative and energetic and don't like attention, but the people around them respect their opinion and often ask them for advice.
4.They love sarcasm and self-irony, as well as making fun of friends.
5.They have a high sense of empathy for people, so they feel lies or hypocrisy of the interlocutor well. This is a great placement for psychologists, tarologists or astrologers.
6.Most likely, such people have heard more than once that they have a heavy or tired look.
7.Pluto in the 1st house in the aspects with Mars, Mercury or the Sun can indicate manipulativeness, imperiousness and aggressiveness. Before doing this, please also analyse the other placements of the natal chart.
Pluto in the 2nd house:
1.An indicator of a great love for material things. Of course, everyone loves money, but not like people with Pluto in the 2nd house. Many of these people have deposits, are thinking about buying real estate or investing. Don't forget, Pluto is a planet of other people's money, so people with this placement are good in business and sales.
2.With tense aspects with other planets, this placement can mean greed, wastefulness, unwillingness to earn money on their own. Such people like to dream and do nothing.
3.Such people love antiques. I noticed that they can keep memorabilia, postcards and gifts from friends in a box for many years.
4.They always know how to save money. If you want to know where you can buy something at a discount, then ask them. Perhaps such people like second-hand shops.
5.I noticed that such people have faced fraud or theft.
6.Their thoughts often become material. I'm not talking about global dreams, for example, about buying a car. Such people may think about a new bag and get a bonus or an opportunity to earn extra money the next day.
7.Pluto loves change, so it's not surprising if people with this placement can move to another city to earn money. Such people could face difficult choices or risks to succeed.
Pluto in the 3rd house:
1.Good analytical skills. This is a good placement for people working in IT, engineering, economics and psychology.
2.With tense aspects with other planets, it may indicate poor memory, short temper and rebelliousness, problems with focusing attention.
3.My personal observation. This is an indicator that in childhood a person could be bullied, change schools, study martial arts. In general, such people are more likely than others to encounter toxic people.
4.This is a very good placement for speakers. Firstly, they know how to convey their message to the audience. Secondly, they have a pleasant voice (but you also need to look at other placements).Thirdly, such people don't like to be silent. For the same reason, I would advise them to keep a diary or write their thoughts and ideas in notes.
5.This is an indicator of an honest person. He will not lie out of courtesy or for selfish purposes. Ask him anything and you will hear his true thoughts.
6.This is a lover of heart-to-heart talk :)
7.Of course, you need to look at the other placements of the natal chart, but most often such people's brains work better in the afternoon or at night.
Pluto in the 4th house:
1.The 4th house in astrology represents family, childhood and mother. For an accurate interpretation, look at the sun and moon in your natal chart. This is an indicator of parents' divorce, constant moving, strained relations in the family. Such a person could receive insufficient love and attention from his parents. Often this is an indication of strict upbringing.
2.Good intuition. Perhaps someone on the maternal side had esoteric abilities.
3.He likes to do the interior of the house. The house for this person is the personification of his personality. The very type of people who start cleaning if they have a lot of stress or anxiety.
4.It is very important for this person to make friends with his inner child in order not to succumb to his desires. For example, you need to determine what is home and a sense of security for you, what is love and attention of loved ones for you, etc. Until you answer these questions, you will unknowingly create problems in your life.
5.This is a possible indicator of an inheritance or a precious family heirloom (but you also need to look at the 8th house in the natal chart)
6.If the other placements in the natal chart don't indicate a bad relationship with parents, then Pluto in the 4th house may indicate that a person had a strong mother. The child could admire her stress resistance, diligence, integrity. She is a complex, but very interesting person.
7.Such people have matured early. In childhood, they were wise children, with whom adults were surprised.
Pluto in the 5th house:
1.'Sorry,I'm anti-romantic".With tense aspects with other planets (especially Venus) this is an indicator of complete aversion to love. A person is afraid of relationships because of possible betrayal or low self-esteem (you need to look at the rest of the placements of the natal chart).
2.A great placement for actors. People like to watch their emotions and listen to them. Emotionality and a high level of empathy is expressed in artistry, which is noticeable even in ordinary conversation. It is not surprising that this placement is really found in many famous actors (Milla Jovovich, Robert Pattinson, Jon Voight, Lady Gaga)
3.Such a person can really select and create a new personality and image for a particular person, which causes problems in his personal life. For some, he is a cheerful extrovert, for others a homebody, for others an ambitious workaholic.
4.Most often, such people are jealous and demand passion and emotions in a relationship (but you need to look at Venus and the Moon in the natal chart)They want to literally get under their partner's skin and breathe the same air. Their love is constant, but very demanding.
5.Pluto is a planet of change, and the 5th house embodies creativity, so such people can be music lovers, often change their style of clothing and their appearance.
6.I notice that the language of love for such people is a physical touch.
7.A man who loves competitions. Firstly, they know how to win.Secondly, they have good endurance.Thirdly, they do not see obstacles. The only disadvantage is that a person can go against the rules and cheat. It's better not to argue with them.
Pluto in the 6th house:
1.Good immunity.A person rarely gets sick and he is physically hardy.(but you need to look at the rest of the placements)
2.The very kind of employee who wants to improve working conditions. He will not be silent if he is not allowed to go on vacation or on sick leave, not to agree to work overtime without additional pay. Responsible, but very demanding employee. Treats colleagues with respect, but tries not to start a friendship at work.
3.With tense aspects with other planets, this is an indicator of workaholism to your detriment. A person can harm his health due to lack of rest and sleep.
4.An indicator that a person may think too much about their health and body. Often Pluto in the 6th house is found in hypochondriacs, people with an eating disorder.
5.Often such people experience impostor syndrome, as they cannot fully accept their achievements.
6.This is a great placement for leadership positions.Such people know how to manage and motivate people. The only downside is that they can go too far and be too overbearing and demanding of their employees.
7.Their emotional state is stronger than that of other people, affects their health. The stomach and skin are especially vulnerable.
Pluto in the 7th house:
1.This placement is most often found in the natal charts of people who have experienced an unpleasant experience in love (divorce, toxic relationships, infidelity, death of a partner)
2.Many of them have a person who can unsuccessfully seek their hearts for several years.
3.With tense aspects with other planets, this is an indicator that a person can be sacrificial in a relationship. Sometimes I find this placement in the natal charts of people who have been subjected to domestic violence.
4.This is one of the indicators of late marriage.
5.The 7th house represents not only a partner, but also enemies. Such people could survive betrayal from the closest people, after which they began to experience trust problems.
6.A person who gives good relationship advice, but doesn't follow it himself.
7.Such people tend to fall under the influence of a partner. (but you also need to look at the other placements in the natal chart). It is important for them to learn to appreciate their hobbies, their character and their dreams, and not to change them because of a partner.
Pluto in the 8th house:
1.Fatalist. This man has been convinced more than once in his life that everything that is not being done is for the best.
2.An indicator of high libido (but you also need to look at Mars and the Sun). They are active and good at sex.
3.I noticed that these people always had a case when they almost died. Many of them had an accident.
4.They understood what karma is from birth. All the bad things always come back to them, as well as the best. Their enemies always get what they deserve.
5.Strong energy (somewhat similar to Pluto in the 1st house). During a conversation with them, you can be filled with energy for the rest of your life. They seem to be out of this world.
6.Possible mental problems. As well as psychological diseases (depression, ocd, adhd, etc.), and diseases of the central nervous system. Many of them suffer from insomnia, seizures or panic attacks (but for this you need to study the natal chart in detail)
7.Such a person is prone to hyperfixation on something. It is important for him to develop comprehensively so that his thoughts are not limited to one idea.
Pluto in the 9th house:
1.A person who likes to study other cultures.Perhaps he listens to a lot of foreign music, learns languages and watches travel shows.
2.There are two extremes here (you need to look at the natal chart).Or a person completely denies higher education and believes that it is not necessary in the modern world.Or on the contrary, he considers it the most important and seeks to get several.
3.A person who thinking on your feet. His mind is very active, but long-term memory can often be confused.
4.This is a person who is able to get information out of the ground.A good placement for detectives.
5.I often meet this placement in the natal charts of lawyers, police officers, people from social services. They try to change the world for the better because of a high sense of justice.Often there are philanthropists among them.
6.With tense aspects with other planets, such a person could be forced to move to another country or city because of poor living conditions.
7.A very inquisitive person. He's easy to learn on his own, so don't be surprised if he acquired most of his skills from the internet.
Pluto in the 10th house:
1.This placement is most often found in the natal charts of people whose profession literally saves someone's life (doctor, military, firefighter, etc.)
2.They are very purposeful and stubborn people. If they argue, they argue to the end. If they work, they definitely go for a promotion. The type of person who doesn't listen to someone's advice.
3.Such people tend to postpone some savings until old age.For example, to purchase additional real estate or find a source of passive income. In matters of finance, they think very big.
4.They respect reputable people, but they are not afraid of them. They don't care about your position, job and income, you will always be an ordinary person.
5.I noticed that these people are often stalked on social networks.People admire and envy them a little.
6.Their thinking is very practical.(but you need to look at the natal chart) Their logic gets the better of their emotions. They are not cold-blooded, but rather realists.
7.Such people are more likely than others to face rivalry at work or when applying to university.
Pluto in the 11th house:
1.Such people stopped communicating with people more often than others because of changes in their lives.
2.With tense aspects with other planets, such a person may fall under the influence of bad company or toxic friends.
3.This person believes in lifelong friendship and is looking for someone with whom he will be himself, but instead he is even more horrified with other people.
4.This placement is often found in the natal charts of volunteers, school/university activists. Such people like to work in a team and are often led by them.
5.Such people don't really like to express their opinions in a group (but you need to look at Mercury and the Sun). They would rather choose a compromise than defend their choice.
6.A good placement for influencers. Such people have more chances to gain popularity.
7.Also, with tense aspects with other planets, this is an indicator of a social phobe.A person does not trust and is afraid of people. He is comfortable in his loneliness because of trust issues.
Pluto in the 12th house:
1.A person who is used to asking for advice from others. It is easier for him to ask the opinion of several people, think about everything and only then make a decision.
2.This is a good placement for psychologists and psychiatrists. These people are interested in the human soul from a scientific point of view.Perhaps they are fond of philosophy and have read the works of famous psychiatrists and philosophers.
3.The people who keep secrets the best. And their own too:)
4.Such people need to periodically restore their energy while alone and turn off the phone. So don't be surprised if this person disappears for a week, he's just resting.
5.In such people, intuition works most strongly through dreams and signs. Pay attention to information from the outside.
6.Life seems to deliberately confront these people with their fears. Although these people do not seem at first glance brave and courageous, in fact they are very strong.
7.I noticed that such people prefer to work alone.

Alegría VS Caruso: Day 1, Part 2
Previous | Next
“Your Honor, to establish the impact of Mr. Caruso’s statements, we’d like to introduce Exhibit A. Here are the analytics from Ms. Alegría’s social media accounts,” Antonio said firmly with a hint of a suave note in his voice.
The screen behind him turns on, revealing a series of graphs and dates.
“As you can see, her channel experienced a 40% decline in viewership AND a notable decrease in new subscribers,” he told the jurors.
He turned to face the screen and the judge. “Exhibit B demonstrates a reduction in cookbook sales during the same period.”
“Additionally, Exhibit C shows her lost sponsorships, reducing her income by nearly half.”
Antonio took his time to go over each piece of evidence in thorough detail. He ensured he made eye contact with each person in the room as he was pacing around.
“Ever since my client was a child, she worked tirelessly to build her brand. She created her social media accounts nearly a decade ago, and there is no record of a decline before Mr. Caruso’s video. He has one purpose in mind: To sabotage her career. He succeeded as of now,” he continued.
“He is tarnishing her reputation in an industry that takes many years to build trust and credibility. Ms. Alegría’s brand is built on her authenticity. Of course her fans felt betrayed at the thought of her being a fraud.”
"This brings us to Exhibit D—Digital records of Ms. Alegría's cookbook project with timestamps included."
Dulce was brought to the stand by Isabela. I’m ready for whatever she has to throw at me.
Isabela tried to stare her down but Dulce did not blink once.
“The data does indeed prove a decline, but let’s not ignore the facts behind the numbers. I shall reiterate that Ms. Alegría’s downfall was her own doing.”
“Ms. Alegría, shortly before Mr. Caruso released his video, he proposed to you and you rejected him. Is that correct?”
“Yes, I rejected the marriage proposal,” Dulce nodded.
“And isn’t it true that you allowed Mr. Caruso to believe there was a future between you two, rejecting his proposal only after accepting his support for your career?”
Antonio stood up abruptly. “Objection, Your Honor! Ms. Campos is badgering and assuming intent without basis.”
The judge took a moment to ponder.
“Overruled. Ms. Alegría, please answer the question.”
“I never promised marriage. A year before he proposed, he brought up the topic of marriage. I made it clear I did not want to be married anytime soon. However, I did care about him as a friend and a business partner. I didn’t lead him on.”
“Ms. Alegría, could it be that viewers and sponsors simply saw through your rash behavior, and that is why they withdrew themselves from you? You were acting rather unpredictable by suddenly rejecting him.”
“Objection, Your Honor!" Antonio shot up again. He could not let her win again. "That accusation is speculative and irrelevant to the defamation claim.”
“Sustained. Ms. Campos, keep the questioning focused on the case specifics.”
Isabela cleared her throat, “Very well, Your Honor. Ms. Alegría, if it wasn’t your personal choices or behavior, then explain why the viewers and sponsors were quick to withdraw.”
She wants to suggest that I’ve been unlikable, erratic, and untalented from the very beginning of my career. She wants me to believe that myself and make me insecure. She wants to get into my head.
I need to stand my ground.
“Because of the lies that Mr. Caruso spread about me in his video.”
Simple as that.
Antonio is right. They don't have anything.

USAmericans and Cheap University
Hello fellow Americans, I'm here to talk about college. In 2024 I graduated at the age of 33 years old with my BS in Business Admin from Western Governors University. I had not heard about this school until my boss (who has a masters from there) told me about it.
In total (thanks to Pell Grants, which the majority of you are probably eligible for) I paid 2400 dollars for my degree, spread out during my time there.
WGU is a fully online, at-your-own-pace, accredited university with four schools:
Business
Technology
Education
Health and Nursing
Each of these has degrees under it, like accounting, education administration, data analytics and more.
I transferred in with an associates degree, of which they took 30 credits, and completed my BS in 1 year and 2 months while working full time. If you were unemployed or part time, you could finish much sooner than me. And since it's a flat rate per 6 month term, you can take as many courses as you can finish in that period of time. Some people who are unemployed finish in 6 months, with no transfer credits at all.
I mention this as an option because if I had known about this when I was still trapped in retail, I would have done it in a heart beat and gotten out WAY sooner.
If you think you want to go to school, or go back to school, to get a certificate, bachelors or masters, please consider them. There are alternatives to crippling education debt!
#university#college#student#student loans#student debt#western governors university#WGU#I just had a really great experience#i didn't have to go to a campus or interact with long winded courses#i could study and take tests on my own time#it was hard dont get me wrong#but i was able to do it so much faster and cheaper than traditional schools

Au where Izuku buys a quirk from giran
Like- like Giran gets OfA and Izuku is the one who buys it off him??? There's a hilarious au to be made about that, how Izuku got the money and what he'll do with the quirk after, and I'm sure it's somewhere up there with Anyone in terms of absolute insanity.
Anyway, this is not that au.
1- Giran is a go between- he connects supply and demand. AfO has a supply of quirks, but is hidden in layers of conspiracy. Giran has worked with AfO long enough that AfO doesn't mind giving his people uninteresting quirks, since he trusts their work will eventually come around to help him, and it's nice to get a cash deposit instead of just a promise to spy for you in a decade. Plus, it's another layer when playing dead and hiding from All Might.
2- Izuku finds Giran much easier than he could find AfO. He goes, mostly because he's sure he'll be laughed away, but he's got to make sure getting a quirk is impossible before he gives up his dream of being a hero forever. (All Might told him he couldn't, the slime villain never dropped out of his pocket for round two.) Giran is curious as to why he wants it, and says he'll consider it if he thinks Izuku won't waste whatever quirk he's given. Izuku takes apart a few random quirks Giran mentions, getting pretty analytical, mentions a lot of use in heroics. Giran could use another friend on the hero side, and so offers his deal: Izuku will pay for a quirk, and if he's able to train it and get into UA, he can keep it in exchange for a percentage of his hero salary and loyalty after he's licensed. If he can't, Giran takes the quirk back, and Izuku's out of the money and his dream. Izuku accepts.
3- Izuku is unconscious and blindfolded when he's given the quirk- Giran protects his customers and their identities from each other, after all- and spends the next ten months training it, his body, and mind. Every other week he checks in with Giran. Aldera is all abuzz at Deku suddenly having a quirk to use in gym, but that fades. He eventually takes the exam, and is sure he failed - after explaining it on the phone, Giran laughs and tells him to at least wait for the rejection letter before offering the quirk back. And then: it's not a rejection letter. He had rescue points. He's in. Also, All Might is going to be teaching there. He'd be excited if he wasn't scared. Because he knows All Might's secret and injury, and that's incredibly valuable information. Giran would want to know- anyone would. And Izuku would die before telling them. But he just calls Giran excited to be accepted, and Giran laughs again, says he'll almost miss their check ins but not his reproachful glares for smoking, and wishes him luck until he graduates and can pay back the investment.
4- UA is eventful, and because of that it's a full month before Izuku even sees All Might- he's busy with the third then second years, and also the school's attacked twice. On seeing him, in the hero course uniform, All Might does a double take. He recognizes him, and he's pretty sure that kid is supposed to be quirkless, which means everything is Very Suspicious! To stay calm, he asks Tsukauchi to be at the school the next morning, and pulls Izuku aside before class. He asks Izuku where he got his quirk. Izuku, honestly, says he bought it. He's earnest and says he doesn't mind paying for the chance to become a hero, and gives All Might the details of the deal, everything except Giran's name. After all, Izuku doesn't know his real one. Tsukauchi and All Might are stunned for different but overlapping reasons. Once Izuku connects their questions with the school attacks (After all, buying a quirk is not illegal, he checked first. There aren't laws about what's supposed to be impossible. Which means something else must be wrong.) he's horrified and apologizes, asks if there's anything he can do. If needed, he could be a double agent - he just has to help, somehow.
5- Tsukauchi is horrified because they are not going to ask a fifteen year old without a license to be a double agent. Toshinori is horrified because he's pretty sure that at this point, if they tell Izuku no, he's just going to try to do it on his own anyway. The only way to stop him would be to arrest him, and since Toshinori is feeling a whole lot of self blame for everything here, he wants to avoid that too. So, with varying levels of enthusiasm, they start to hash out a plan...
#Izuku is going to have The Most complicated relationship with not just Giran but also Toshinori and Tsukauchi here too huh#pocket talks to people#anon#ask game

How prevalent is American history in ur country? We literally learn nothing about Australia or NZ. I'm curious :)
(i did my schooling in australia so this is just aussie info) so in primary school (ages 6-12) we don't learn american history, just australian. mostly about captain cook, our gold rush, ned kelly, the stolen generation. i hated it i hated learning about captain cook it was so boring to me 😭 and of course its not done under any analytical lens of like critical race theory or under a wider scope of colonialism but thats another story lol. oh god and when they taught us about the stolen generation they of course said nothing about the state of australian racism to the indigenous population today.
we did learn about ww1 and 2 but only ever in the context of the pacific theatre. like we got gallipoli drilled into our heads. we did learn about the holocaust in year 8, but again not very america-related
in high school (13-18), our history classes start off still australian history (though there was the holocaust semester). around age 15 (year 9 for us) you can pick elective classes and those history classes and politics classes are more global. not american-centric, but since america looms so large we learned more about it.
honestly the thing is though that we DO learn a lot about american history because it's so soaked into media and culture. you just know about 1776 or the civil war or civil rights etcetc through movies and news and culture. a lot of people choose to be ignorant though and choose to act like 'oh thats not our business'
apologies for the long answer its just very complicated!
personal opinions under the cut
but it's never taught fully, and i think that's a huge problem. race in australia is pushed under the rug, its considered rude to bring it up. like by acknowledging racism you're doing racism. and especially its considered something of the past, like "yeah we were racist to the chinese in the gold rush" and "yeah we were racist to the aboriginals" ~bUT WERE BETTER NOW~ eugh
i think its really important for education to not be nationalistic. obviously we need to learn our country's history, but i'm also a filthy globalist and think everyone should be educated about everything. american history IS important to learn. there's this problem here where people call things like race or war or whatever 'an american problem' 'oh the americans always make things about race' 'the americans expect everyone to know their history" and its like well yeah its annoying but we SHOULD learn of course we should!
the US is the world's superpower. everything that happens in the US affects everyone else. whether its culture wars, social change, imperialism etc its something we have to learn. rahhh sorry this is all like personal qualms. you have no idea how maddening 2020 was. it was like all my classmates realised there was a world beyond our school.

Growth Mindset + Action = Manifestation
Last year I made a simple goal a degree before the next chapter of my life. It was a hard decision and was super taxing and scary, but after years of self sabotage I received my associates. This year I made 5 simple goals:
Enroll in WGU and complete a degree in 6 months
Pay off my student loan debt
Get a job paying over $65k
Get my credit above the 700s
Lose 50 lbs.
Here's the progress so far:
I enrolled, but had to re-enroll in order to get a new quicker business degree. I am almost done with a class (it only took about a week). I will be completing 2 classes a month.
I started out with $17k in student loan debt and officially paid off over $10k and I am on track to pay off the rest by the end of the year.
I hadn't even finished my course yet, but I received a job for an SDR paying $50k + an additional $22k in OTE = $72k + unlimited commission.
My credit was in the high 500s and this year I got it to 694 so far.
I haven't lost that much wait only 2 lbs but I still have 4 months and a lot can happen in 4 months.
This is my real progress and to be honest for years I had self sabotaged and didn't have a growth mindset I was very limited in my thinking. It wasn't until I accepted reality of "it is what it is" meaning that it doesn't matter what a situation should be, but accepting what it is. After you accept what a situation truly is you can began the steps necessary to change your situation. I have taken on a new mindset and started taking the time to heal that side of me that didn't believe in herself and I am officially enrolling therapy later this month. I also received a scholarship to learn business analytics. If you are stuck and in a rut I want you to repeat the words I have written below. Have an awesome day!
I am not my situation, I am not helpless, I will control the controllable in my life. I am powerful, I can learn anything, I am just as capable as anyone else. I am amazing, I can this. I can and will make my dreams a reality. My dream are possible. I am worth what I want in life. My work and effort will amount to a possible change in my life. I CAN DO THIS!

Some benefits grace you even before you start your journey!
1. You don’t require a GRE score…

Isn’t this appealing enough to apply to study in Ireland as an Indian student?
Hence, to get into an Irish university, Indian students require an excellent academic record and scores on one of these tests – IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and Duolingo.
GRE & GMAT is not required by almost all Irish universities (UCD & TCD may ask for GMAT scores for their MBA degrees).
2. English Language Proficiency Training
All English-speaking countries expect their international students to be well-versed in English, as does Ireland.
But aren’t your English proficiency test scores suitable enough to secure admission?
Not to worry. Irish universities offer Pre-sessional English language programs. These short-term courses are designed to help you gain the skills needed to prepare for exams like IELTS, TOEFL, DET, and PTE.
3. How much study gap is acceptable in Ireland?
The answer is…
Study gaps don’t matter for Irish universities!

Various reasons, such as employment, vacation, health issues, and business ventures, can be used to explain your study gap. You can provide these reasons in your Statement of Purpose.
Sarem Education will help Indian students with their Statements Of Purpose to study in Ireland.
4. Cost of studying in Ireland is lower for Indian students
Compared to studying in the USA, UK, and Australia, an MS degree in Ireland costs less.
Cost of study in Ireland for Indian students:
Place of study EUROS INR
Universities 12,000 to 36,000 9,97,000 to 28,89,000
Institute of Technology 12,000 to 17,000 9,97,000 to 13,63,000

Tuition fee is the most significant cost component, while other expenses like accommodation, student visa, medical insurance, and the like typically cost between €7,000 (5 to 9 lakhs) to €12,000 per year.
There are also independent colleges in Ireland where Indian students can study for lesser fees.
Provided you have the necessary work experience, colleges such as Dublin Business School, Griffith College Dublin, and National College of Ireland should be a sweet deal!
Consultancies do love adhering to “get rich overnight schemes” by giving Indian students the aforementioned options to study in Ireland. However, we do not do that here.
Here is some honest information. Freshers would find it daunting to land a job after graduation from these places. So, apply here at your own risk.
However, experienced candidates should be able to land a job thanks to their experience.
With a part-time job or a paid internship, you can further reduce your expenses to study at an Irish university. We advise that you search for the right one where you can balance your studies with your part-time work.

6. The 3 benefits of studying 1-year masters in Ireland
Undoubtedly, Indian students are constantly under pressure to settle down quickly. Studying a 1-year Master’s program at an Irish university can help you alleviate this.
You can fast-forward your dreams of graduating with an MS degree and happily settle abroad sooner than your counterparts in other countries!
Let us enlist and explain the benefits below:
Return to the workforce with world-class skills sooner: Sometimes, students take a 1-year leave to finish their degree and resume work with their previous employer. This is possible if you do a Masters in Ireland. Moreover, a 1-year break for education will also be less harsh on your resume. You can also join the workforce sooner and ease off your loans.
Costs Less: Compared to a 2-year course, studying for a 1-year Masters in Ireland is cheaper. A shorter duration means you pay lesser rent, living expenses, etc.
Resume: In any Master’s course in Ireland, you must complete 90 credits within a year. Inevitably, you will be putting in tons of hard work throughout the year. Consequently, this can bode well for your resume.
7. 100% visa approval
Ireland and India faced the brunt and after-effects of British imperialism and colonization in the 1900s.
Now, both countries share cordial relations owing to which there is less than a 5% chance for your visa to get rejected for Indian students to study in Ireland.
Not impressed?
DAVID FLOOD, Director, India, and South Asia, Enterprise Ireland, shares an impressive stat. The Irish visa approval rate for Indian students has grown by over 95% in the last 5 years.
So what happens to Indian students after they come to study in Ireland?
8. Globally Ranking Universities
Did you know securing admission to Irish universities would allow you to study at one of the top-ranked universities globally? Five universities in Ireland rank within the top 500 globally, and three are within the top 1000.
Trinity College, University College Dublin, University College Cork, University of Galway, University of Limerick, Dublin City University, Maynooth University, and Technological University Dublin are the universities on the list.
9. Highly quality education
The International Graduate Insight Group (i-graduate) found that students pursuing an MS degree in Ireland reported high student satisfaction with their academic experience.
Of course! Why wouldn’t they?
All MS degrees in Ireland are one year in duration. You will be prepared to enter the workforce within one year.
Irish universities and institutions are globally renowned for their programs in Science, Technology, Maths, Teaching, Medicine, Business, and Finance, accredited and recognized worldwide.

10. Part-time opportunities in Ireland while studying
During their study in Ireland, Indian students can work for up to 20 hours a week.
According to labour statistics, Ireland has more than 400,000 people employed part-time. As regional investment grows and new businesses pop up, part-time jobs shall also grow steadily.
Irish universities also offer teaching assistant positions where students can assist professors with their academic commitments and get paid for them.
Indian students studying in Ireland will be allowed to work 40 hours per week only from June to September & from 15th December to 15th January inclusive. At all other times, students will be allowed to work 20 hours per week while they study.
11. Hub for global corporations
Ireland’s technological ambience is nothing to be scoffed at.
Ireland houses more than 1000 multinational companies, mainly because of Ireland‘s liberal FDI policies and ease of doing business. This opens doors for talent across the world.
Many of these MNCs seek MS degree holders from Irish universities in areas like Artificial Intelligence, ICT, telecom and life sciences.
Several companies – like Google, Facebook, Airbnb, Roche, Abbott, and others – have their European headquarters in Ireland. There are several hundreds of internships for fresher Indian students studying in Ireland.
Down the road, this ups their chances of securing full-time employment.
12. Safe, friendly, party and quality of lifestyle
Consumed by excitement while applying for a Masters, one would leave caution to the wind and fail to read about the destination’s attitude towards international students.
And while Ireland’s windy climate
is often chided for being unfriendly, the locals are super sweet. Indian students in Ireland feel very safe and peaceful, and their study period is a heavenly experience.
Still, undecided to study in Ireland as an Indian student? Contact us so that we can help you connect with alumni.
13. Rich Culture and Heritage
You can earn a 360-degree, fulfilling experience from your education abroad only if you read and imbibe academic papers and the culture around you.
If you are a bookworm, a history buff, or a culture enthusiast, don’t look further into the West than Ireland.
The best part about studying in a European country is that every country is different from the others; in terms of architecture, history, race, music, etc.
Ireland is not just well known for its education but also for reasons like these as well.
Dublin, the capital of the Emerald Isle, is a popular tourist destination filled with parks, museums, and statues paying homage to literary laureates such as Oscar Wilde, Joyce Meyer, etc. Pubs that are about a 1000-year-old grace the ever-alive city centre.
Festivals such as Halloween and St. Patrick’s Day originated in Ireland.
Studying in Ireland for Indian students will be thrilling for those who like to travel to various places and capture the green garlands of nature with their photography skills.
Also, are you familiar with these famous movies- Harry Potter, Star Wars, P.S. I Love You, and Game of Thrones?
All of these films had scenes filmed in Ireland. Ireland’s landscapes breathe life into the dormant desi travel bug in you.
Ireland’s West Coast throngs with breathtaking sceneries, docks, rocky coastlines, and castles. Be sure to check out these places while pursuing your M.S. degree in Ireland.
14. A growing, dynamic Indian community in Ireland
In 2011, The Irish Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, aimed at attracting the 100,000 Indian students moving abroad for their higher studies every year into Ireland’s workforce.
Consequently, between 2013-2017, Ireland saw a 45% increase in international students entering Ireland.
As of 2015, about 26,000 Indians reside in Ireland, of whom about 9,000 are second-generation Indians. They occupy roles in healthcare (doctors and nurses), IT, engineering, and senior management positions.
According to DBEI (Department of Business, Enterprise, and Innovation), the majority of work permits were obtained by Indian students than any other nationality in various fields such as IT, ICT, Finance, Medical, and Business in 2022.
You can see several local businesses in Dublin with Indian owners and managers, which may get you part-time jobs if you can get their patronage. “Muqqabla” and “Urvashi” are some music tracks that rock the corridors of these local businesses. So there is no need to forget the rice, dal, and curry after you leave India.
15. Employment rates are at an all-time high!
It is undoubtedly heartening for us to announce (with proof) that employment rates are at an all-time high. Employment figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) confidently state that Ireland is fully employed.
Lifeline for graduates in Pharmaceuticals, Finance & IT, Pharma and biotech industry in Ireland picked up after companies took advantage of the government lowering tax rates for corporates.
19 of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies are in Ireland. They constantly attract graduates with MS degrees from Irish universities. Indian students considering where to go after a UG degree in biotech, pharma, biomedical, and instrumentation can seek Ireland for higher studies.
Accountancy and Finance are lucrative for Indian students who study in Ireland. Due to the demand level and a squeeze in supply, companies are increasing compensation packages for both attraction and retention purposes. [Source: Morgan Mckinley]
Several tech-centred Irish institutions offer MS degrees in information technology, data analytics, cloud computing, and business analytics.
The courses are tailored to tackle real-time challenges in the tech-savvy industries in the IT hub of Europe. This is one supporting point for young and ambitious Indian students to study in Ireland for their Master’s.
16. Ireland’s post-study work visa benefits make you go WOW!
So here is the answer to the much-awaited question, “How to work in Ireland post-graduation”.
The Irish government offers a 2-year post-study work visa for Indian students in Ireland to seek employment after their graduation.
Ireland has two types of work visas – General Work Permit and Critical Skills Employment Permit.
The Critical Skills Employment Permit is acquired by people in the sectors included on the Critical Skills Occupations List, such as ICT professionals, professional engineers, and technologists. This visa targets highly skilled people, encouraging them to reside permanently in Ireland.
In 2022, 63% of the 10,171 critical skill visas issued were grabbed by Indian students studying in Ireland.
A General Employment Permit allows the holder to work in various occupations. Unlike the Critical Skills visa, this permit recognizes that all professions are eligible unless excluded from the Ineligible List of Occupations for Employment Permits.
17. Easy Pathway to PR
Did you know Ireland has one of the most effortless PR processes globally?
A list of countries with the smoothest PR processes would include Ireland in the top five.
A Critical skill visa allows you to apply for a PR in two years, and a General work permit will enable you to apply for a PR in five years.
Conclusion:
A 1-year study in Ireland for Indian students is flawlessly beneficial.
It is undoubtedly your gateway to finding a job in Ireland and getting a PR soon in Ireland using the 2 years of critical skills work permit.
We can connect you with Indian students in Ireland to enquire about your course and confirm all of the benefits we have mentioned above to studying in Ireland for Indian students.

How Important Is Accreditation for a PGDM Programme?
It is needless to mention the importance of a PGDM programme in today’s world. This postgraduate management diploma programme carries significant weight in propelling one toward career advancement. However, pursuing a non-accredited PGDM programme holds no value. Since, PGDM programmes are offered by autonomous institutions, having different types of accreditation is essential. Hence, when researching institutions, you will find that designated bodies accredit all the best PGDM college in Kolkata.
This brings us to the question- how important is accreditation for a PGDM programme? Why does prioritizing an accredited PGDM course matter? Let’s find out in the blog below.
What is a PGDM Programme?
A PGDM programme stands for Postgraduate Diploma Management programme. It is a 2-year course offered on a full-time basis, tailored to meet industry demands and cultivate industry-relevant managers.
A PGDM programme seeks to impart knowledge of business management through both classroom lectures and practical, hands-on training. Typically, these programs focus on practical learning and seek to expose students to many aspects of the real business environment through internships, industrial visits, live projects, and other activities.
PGDM programmes offer several specializations, like marketing, finance, HRM, business analytics, and so on. One can opt for any specialization based on their career goals, interest, and other factors. That said whatever your reason is for pursuing a PGDM course, it is imperative to choose an accredited program. But what is this accreditation? Let’s find it out in the next section.
What is Accreditation?
Accreditation refers to the process of "getting credited" or recognized. Authorizing authorities typically perform formal assessment and evaluation processes for educational institutions or courses that meet acceptable norms.
It is a procedure that ensures educational institutions, services, and programmes satisfy predefined standards of quality, ethics, and efficacy. Accrediting bodies can be regional, national, or international organizations known for their competence in evaluating educational quality in specific disciplines or regions, like AICTE, NAAC, NBA, UGC, AIU, etc.
Any accredited institutions or programmes demonstrate their quality and legitimacy. It enables students to make informed academic decisions while also ensuring that their degrees or certificates are regarded as valid by businesses and other institutions.
Which Type of B-Schools Can Offer PGDM Courses?
Unlike an MBA, a PGDM programme is not offered by B-Schools affiliated with universities. Rather, autonomous institutions offer PGDM courses. It is called a Postgraduate Diploma rather than a Degree since only universities regulated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) are authorized to issue degrees, whereas a PGDM is classified as a Diploma programme. Usually, private business institutions accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) are authorized to provide PGDM programmes.
Accreditation for a PGDM Programme: Its Importance
When talking about accreditation, it is worth shedding light on its importance for a PGDM programme. Multiple reasons make accreditation crucial for PGDM courses of which below are a few.
Quality
There are thousands of business schools throughout the country, but not all of them provide great education. So, how do you tell if a business school offers quality education? The answer is in its accreditations. The more accreditations a business school has from reputable organizations, the more it exhibits its dedication to educational excellence. Higher education educational institutions are thoroughly evaluated by accrediting authorities, like AICTE, AIU, NBA, etc., and only those that successfully meet particular criteria and requirements are accredited.
Upto Date Curriculum
Attending an accredited PGDM curriculum means you'll be learning about industry-relevant topics. Accredited PGDM programmes are frequently assessed and reviewed to make sure that the course of study is current and relevant to the industry's latest advancements, trends, and innovations. This ensures that students obtain education that is relevant to current market demands and developments.
Credibility
An accredited PGDM programme is more likely to be acknowledged and valued in the market. Because accreditations represent quality, students who attend an accredited PGDM education demonstrate that they have completed a high-quality curriculum that is in line with current market trends. This, in turn, increases their employability and job opportunities.
Furthermore, the legitimacy of an accredited PGDM programme can be extremely beneficial when seeking admission to further programs such as Ph.D., or an MBA in a foreign business school.
Continuous Improvement
Accreditation agencies conduct official reviews of higher education institutions regularly, making it critical for these institutions to maintain a consistent level of quality. As a result, they are dedicated to ongoing improvement and working to improve the excellent education they deliver.
Employer Recognition
Accreditation evaluations undertaken by different bodies generally assess components such as educational standards, teaching approaches, facilities, faculty credentials, and more. Only institutes that meet the standards for all parameters are accredited.
Participating in an accredited PGDM programme, therefore, demonstrates a high level of management education among candidates, preparing them to become industry-relevant leaders and managers. As a result, candidates' trustworthiness improves dramatically in the view of employers during the placement process.
The Bottomline
In conclusion, accreditations for a PGDM programme are critical. It guarantees the standard, recognition, and relevancy of postgraduate management programmes. Choosing an accredited PGDM course can increase the value of the education and qualifications achieved, thereby improving employment chances in the realm of management.

Do you run your own business?
Not currently. I did when I was consulting to make a bit of extra $$$ and it gave me something to do in the hotel rooms when traveling. After I pay off my house in a few years, then I will probably go back to owning businesses, but I will probably limit it to passive income ventures.
...or who knows what will happen in the future? In less than 10 years, I went from living at home, while going to HS thinking I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life to:
Deciding to pursue law school and taking the LSAT my junior/senior year of college
Taking an Accounting Data Analytics course my senior year of college and deciding to stick to Accounting
Getting a job offer for a Data Analytics/Science Consulting position at a Big 4 during my Masters
Feeling bored working 60~ hrs/wk, so decided to start a side business to work 80~ hrs/wk.
Getting an early promotion to Senior Consultant and then in the same year switch to a Big Tech company to be a Data Engineering Manager.
Within 2 years, I am about to be promoted again to Sr. Manager/Director.
To say I don't know what will happen in my future would be an understatement haha

Day 2 - Family
@ringsofpowervalentinesweek
Galadriel sighed as she ate a light breakfast of toast. The War of Wrath had finally ended, but she could not rest now. There were refugees to house, borders to be redrawn, and watches to be set. Galadriel had been offered a few weeks’ leave, of course; her company having only arrived back in Mithlond the previous afternoon; but she was hesitant to take it.
There was also the matter of their… guest. Elrond had become quite dear to her since he’d joined Galadriel’s regiment a few years before and when she had discovered he had nowhere to go but the inn, she was quick to offer her own home. Celeborn had returned some weeks before and secured it for them.
Elrond was grown, but only just, and he was in a land he did not know. It would be far too easy for him to become hopelessly lost in the winding streets of Mithlond. He too would wish to refuse leave in order to begin reparations, despite the fact that he needed rest more than most.
As Galadriel deliberated this, Celeborn entered the kitchen with Elrond not far behind. Celeborn sat next to his wife and plucked a piece of toast from her plate. She swatted at his hand playfully, but did not actually protest. Before them, Elrond shifted from foot to foot awkwardly.
At last, he spoke. “Galadriel, Celeborn, could one of you perhaps point me to the nearest well?”
Celeborn’s brow furrowed in confusion. “I could, I suppose, though I cannot imagine what business you might have there.”
It was Elrond’s turn to be confused. “I mean to get water for the household… Unless you have someone to do that for you in so great a settlement as this?”
All of a sudden, it occurred to Galadriel. Elrond had never been to a city before! The Havens of Sirion, while filled with many elves and men, was only a rough refugee settlement. Even in its latest years, it was populated mostly by simple, wooden houses. No one had given a thought to the luxury of indoor plumbing.
After that, Elrond had told her that he moved from place to place with the Fëanorians in their encampments until he’d been sent to Gil-Galad. Galadriel knew from long and hard experience that war camps did not have running water.
Elrond probably didn’t know! A spark of mischief entered her eyes. “Do you see that basin, cut into the countertop there?”
Elrond looked behind him. “Yes? What of it?”
Galadriel looked at Celeborn who was nearly as confused as Elrond. “There are two knobs above it. Turn one.”
Elrond eyed her suspiciously, but did as he was bid. He turned the right hand knob and sprang back with a cry. His eyes were wide as saucers as he watched the steady stream of water falling from the faucet. So awestruck was his face, that Galadriel could no longer hold back her laughter.
Celeborn, who now understood the joke, just rolled his eyes fondly. "Do you know what that is?" he asked Elrond.
Elrond nodded without looking at him as he approached the tap. "Yes, I have heard tell of streams that run in the walls of a home, but I had thought those were fictional tales, told to children. Much like faeries or unicorns or floors that float up and down buildings!"
Celeborn laughed. Through their Bond, he said to Galadriel "We must take him to the center of the city and show him a lift."
Elrond continued to examine the faucet, turning the knobs this way and that, his analytical mind already hard at work reverse engineering the plumbing. "So I take it there is a pipe in the wall that brings the water from the river. Is the water drinkable? And how is it pressurized?"
Celeborn answered his questions to the best of his ability and, out of nowhere, a thought struck Galadriel. Was this what it would be like to have a child of their own? To watch wonder-filled eyes discover the most mundane of things for the first time? To be revered as the wisest of all people for remembering things learned long ago?
She and Celeborn had discussed the notion of a child a few times, many years ago. But given the heavy shadow of Morgoth and the constant fighting with only short reprieves, it had never been more than a distant fantasy. Now, Morgoth was gone. The world was tired of war and ready for new life.
For the first time in her life, she wanted a child. The desire grew in her heart until it threatened to consume her. She had been a daughter, a sister, a leader, a long-lost niece, a wife, a warrior, a commander, and now she wanted to be a mother.
Yes, she would take her leave, she thought. Children did not make themselves, after all.

Why Power BI Takes the Lead Against SSRS
In an era where data steers the course of businesses and fuels informed decisions, the choice of a data visualization and reporting tool becomes paramount. Amidst the myriad of options, two stalwarts stand out: Power BI and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). As organizations, including those seeking Power BI training in Gurgaon, strive to extract meaningful insights from their data, the debate about which tool to embrace gains prominence. In this digital age, where data is often referred to as the "new oil," selecting the right tool can make or break a business's competitive edge.
Understanding the Landscape
What is Power BI?
Microsoft Power BI is a powerful business analytics application that enables organizations to visualize data and communicate insights across the organization. With its intuitive interface and user-friendly features, Power BI transforms raw data into interactive visuals, making it easier to interpret and draw actionable conclusions.
What is SSRS?
On the other hand, SSRS, also developed by Microsoft, focuses on traditional reporting. It enables the creation, management, and delivery of traditional paginated reports. SSRS has been a reliable choice for years, but the advent of Power BI has brought new dimensions to data analysis.
The Advantages of Power BI Over SSRS
In the realm of data analysis and reporting tools, Power BI shines as a modern marvel, surpassing SSRS in various crucial aspects. Let's explore the advantages that set Power BI apart:
1. Interactive Visualizations
Power BI's forte lies in its ability to transform raw data into interactive and captivating visual representations. Unlike SSRS, which predominantly deals with static reports, Power BI empowers users to explore data dynamically, enabling them to drill down into specifics and gain deeper insights. This interactive approach enhances data comprehension and decision-making processes.
2. Real-time Insights
While SSRS offers a snapshot of data at a particular moment, Power BI steps ahead with real-time data analysis capabilities. Modern businesses, including those enrolling in a Power BI training institute in Bangalore, require up-to-the-minute insights to stay competitive, and Power BI caters precisely to this need. It connects seamlessly to various data sources, ensuring that decisions are based on the latest information.
3. User-Friendly Interface
Power BI's intuitive interface stands in stark contrast to SSRS's somewhat technical setup. With its drag-and-drop functionality, Power BI eliminates the need for extensive coding knowledge. This accessibility allows a wider range of users, from business analysts to executives, to create and customize reports without depending heavily on IT departments.
4. Scalability
As a company grows, so does the amount of data it handles. Power BI's cloud-based architecture ensures scalability without compromising performance. Whether you're dealing with a small dataset or handling enterprise-level data, Power BI can handle the load, guaranteeing smooth operations and robust analysis.
5. Natural Language Queries
One of Power BI's standout features is its ability to understand natural language queries. Users can interact with the tool using everyday language and receive relevant visualizations in response. This bridge between human language and data analytics simplifies the process for non-technical users, making insights accessible to all.
The SEO Advantage
In the digital age, search engine optimization (SEO) plays a vital role in ensuring your content, including information about Power BI training in Mumbai, reaches the right audience. When it comes to comparing Power BI and SSRS in terms of SEO, Power BI once again takes the lead.
With their interactive visual content, Power BI-enhanced articles attract more engagement. This higher engagement leads to longer on-page time, lower bounce rates, and improved SEO rankings. Search engines recognize user behavior as a marker of content quality and relevance, boosting the visibility of Power BI-related articles.
