A fest dedicated to inspiring fics and artwork about flowers in the 1D fandom.

Rules:

There is no minimum or maximum word count requirement.

Fics must be completed when posted to Ao3. No WIPs.

This fest is not anonymous. Feel free to post snippets or teasers. (Make sure to tag @1d-flower-fest)

Fics and artwork can be a team submission.

You can create both artwork and a fic for this fest if you would like to do so.

As this is a One Direction fest, one of the members must be included in the main pairing.

There will be no restriction on the writing of explicit, sensitive, or potentially triggering content, though this must be tagged appropriately.

All AUs are allowed such as omegaverse, Mpreg, girl direction, etc..

Any fic posts or moodboards made for this fest can not include AI  generated art or images.

once again, this fic fest is inspired by the fic them butterflies by the lovely and talented @gaycousinlarry! the concept is "smut as a means to character development".

any fics submitted this round will not be moderated content wise; please use common sense & best judgment when it comes to things like tagging your fic correctly/appropriately. whether the next round's fic content will be moderated is completely dependent on how participants do these things.

there is no minimum word count for this fest.

this will not be an anonymous fest; you can absolutely post snippets of your fic as you're writing. tag this blog & use the hashtag to be reposted as well!

fics are allowed to have more than one author - if you want to write with one or more friends, go for it

this is a one direction fic fest, so you can write about any pairing - or ot3/ot4/ot5 - you'd like!

you can write about any & all forms and variations of one direction; this fest thrives on inclusivity, variation & exploration!

Hiiii @1dfests ! I really don't know what the new admin of the past blog is doing, and I do still have my fingers crossed that they've locked access to do some changes or something. When I checked yesterday, it looked like they still had the url. But thank you so so much for being willing to start it over if necessary!

I don't know how much this will help you, but yesterday @seekforwarmth and I were looking for past posts that might help to put together the list and maybe recreate the past lists, just missing 2023 I think if anyone's got that one...
