MALAKAI WILL PERISHHHHH AND CRUMBLE AT MY FEET AT THE HANDS OF MEGUMI DONT EVEN PLAY. worldstarrrrrrrrrrrr Twitter fight video
(Hi boobooo ilysmmm i hope ur having a good day 🫀🫀😛)
erm-
Tumblr media
if malakai was ever a love interest (will he? will he not? 👀) i’m pretty sure megumi would feel REALLY secure in his relationship with y/n 😭 like, he wouldn’t even feel threatened by THAT, iygwim?? 💀 like malakai as his competition guarantees him a win, i think. unless kai pulls out some of that poetic english he speaks in (he’s really good at analysing dark poetry, old poems like my last dutchess or stories with dark themes).
(hello ml, this made me die laughing you have no idea 😭 had the worst day today but made instantly better when i saw this weirdly-detailed message sent by you 😧)

Hi! I am a new environmental law student, and I am just starting to get into reading cases and legal jargon. Do you have any tips or tricks for reading long and complicated legal documents?
I specifically need help with annotating them so that I can focus on the crucial parts and not get lost in the length/repetitiveness.
Thank you so much!!
hi there! good news is: reading long and complicated legal documents gets easier with time!! bad news is it only gets easier because you’ll read so many of them it’ll become second nature to you lol. i haven’t had environmental law yet, but i have some general advice re: annotating cases that might help:
1. names, dates, ages and specific locations are always assumed to be important until proven otherwise, and this is especially important when you’re working with newer legislation or statutes
2. legal jargon: write down what you don’t know, even if you can’t stop to check it at the moment. if you absolutely cannot move forward without understanding what that term / word means or grasping from context alone, stop everything you’re doing and go research it, even if it’s just a quick skim over the legal dictionary. i have a somewhat easier time with latin because i speak three romance languages (one of them being my mother tongue), but legal terminology in latin is still tricky and flashcards are your friend. and don’t get me started on german contract law terminology!! you can go over flashcards when you’re commuting, eating breakfast, or before bed for example, and it shouldn’t take much longer than 10min of your day (i use quizlet, but have also heard great things about anki and am thinking of switching to it before bar prep, but i digress)
3. my note taking / annotating for class is 100% digital, and i highlight passages i consider important as well as write notes on the margins that usually contain reflections about the case or other notes for myself later (eg: what defensive strategies would work for a criminal law case study). i also bookmark specific pages i may want to revisit, and often summarize cases by making a mind map (i usually do this by hand, in a small notebook that always stays close to me for brainstorming / quick notes)
i think i covered everything? i’ve been on break for a hot minute so i might have missed something, but i’ll edit and reblog this post again if i remember anything else once the semester starts and i’m neck deep in readings again. best of luck with your studies and let me know if i can help you with anything else!

Stupid ideas are stupid (but fun!)
Decided that the one eyed robot will be Ada and the two eyed robot will be Ilia (thank you anon for those names)!
Ada and Brute (BRUT-1L) are together so obviously I had to make their couple's page!
Then got some silly ideas for Brute and Hanami (I actually think they are friends once she teaches him about pruning instead of just shearing). Plus showing that the majority of the group only tolerates Asa because he's with Ilia.
Then Ilia being weird with his Vandelay reject friends (and Mahito), and for some reason I wanted to draw Mimosa so she's there lol.
Finally, mini comic with Hanami getting Asa for a quick trip to Ilia!

Back with my latest FANTASTIC kink experience. My bf bought himself a 1.5L of soda and is getting better at chugging. After dinner he had ~1/3 of the bottle then chugged ~1L of water. He is so good at chugging water. I also hand fed him a couple donuts (very hot and sensual) and he sucked the icing off my fingers after.
He gets almost desperate to eat me out so he did (he’s great at it!!) and came while touching himself. He likes me gripping his hair and moving him while he does it.
Then afterwards he showed off his tummy to be and I felt it while touching myself. He drank some more soda and I was super close. He asked if I wanted him to finish it, I said yes. He took another swig then looked uncomfy and said he couldn’t, so I said that was fine, let me rub it. Very little left in the bottle anyway, maybe ~200ml. He lets out a couple small burps. Then he lets out a MASSIVE burp that surprises him and I cum from it!! I’m cumming and we’re both laughing and it was hot and fun and sexy and he said it felt so good - I could tell by his reaction.
Hot af. Will be repeating.
- 🦌 anon
P.S. I will definitely be making a blog soon. Have saved lots of things in my drafts for when I make it.
Hot af indeed, hot damn! Seriously, all of this is gold. Hand feeding and finger sucking? Being able to drink and eat that much?? Burping during hot and sexy times??? You're out here living the DREAM and I am so here for it!!! Plus that last part especially is so sweet. Being able to have genuine fun during sex acts is the best, and throwing all the extra sensuality of stuffing/bloating and burping on top of that makes it that much more special.

Yeah seconded in regards that other ask you got for anon about staying hydrated while wearing a mask to eras. In general my number one piece of advice for anyone going to eras is make sure you have eaten decently/slightly more than you usually would before going and drink at least 1L of water while at the show because I did not on my first night (I was running late due to a delayed flight and usually am fine at shows without any drink/food) and felt horrific when I woke up the next morning, whereas I felt fine the next two nights because I prepared in that regard.
a 3 hour show on an empty stomach sounds grueling 😭 definitely would not want anyone to do that

my bestie has been studying for her lawyer's bar test these past months, and the test itself is ON HER BIRTHDAY
so i wish you both to do your best.
you can do this!!!!
thank you anon 💖 1L was hell but I SURVIVED !!! 1/3 of the way there 💪🏼
good luck to your friend! my roommates are also studying for the bar and lol it is NO joke. but it will all be worth it once she passes 🫶🏼 so sad it’s on her birthday, if she’s in the US is her birthday at least on the second day of the exam? so she can at least go out that night and cry tears of relief that it’s over

HI HI! Sorry I just noticed you were sick, and wanted to share with you an easy thing to make that seemed to help my family and my close friends pretty well when they got sick.
Egg drop soup! Pretty simple, just chicken stock, a cornstarch slurry (Cornstarch + water) and eggs!
First you kinda just boil the chicken stock, however much you like to be honest I find 500ml or about half the 1l carton is enough for two servings, uhm- put just a little constarch slurry? Just enough to make it like a tiny bit thick, stir that till youve got a little vortex going and then you add in the beaten eggs, wait a bit then you can serve it like that!
I really do hope you get better soon!
p.s. i you know what magic sarap is, add a little bit in there for more flavor :D
Lovingly, Seraphim Anon.
Thank you, love. I do enjoy some egg drop soup, thanks for the recommendation!!! 😊

guts… this is so irrelevant to why we are all here but saw some of the recent anons asking you about life shit (aka people being like did you study lit, what do you do, and how the fuck is it not professional writer because you’re insanely unbelievably talented lol) and i am a devout follower of yours who graduated undergrad several years ago at this point with a poli sci degree, i’m struggling out here in the non-profit sector and i’m considering going to law school and i was wondering… do you have any thoughts on this career path? any insight on what the most challenging part of your professional journey thus far has been? i know there are a million things to could do with a law degree so i apologize if this question is dumb as fuck but i wanted to shoot my shot. ps, thank you for sharing your creativity with us. like every other anon, i am in awe of your storytelling abilities, you are gifted and i hope you know that! i selfishly appreciate that this is your creative outlet because it brings me lots of joy hehehe… like three new joel one shots, a marcus one shot, and new WG coming soon????? all in the course of this month?!?!?! WE DO NOT DESERVE, we do not! love you 🥰 sincerely, #1 gutsby stan
HELLO! DUDE!!!! I LOVE YOU?!!! 😭😭❤️
Seriously, you're too kind!!! Thank you so much for reading and for saying such sweet things, and alsoooooo...
That is SO EXCITING you're considering law school!! I know students and practicing attorneys alike love to commiserate about how awful the process is (and it definitely has its moments, don't get me wrong), but I enjoyed my three years and like being a lawyer even more, and I encourage anyone with the inclination to give it a try, if a career in a legal or legal-adjacent field is what you want!
I think the hardest part for me was finding the right place and sticking with it, even when 1L made me feel like the dumbest person alive. Grading on a curve is a hellscape, class rankings are the worst, and OCI is a clusterfuck. If you can, find a practice area that motivates you to stay where you are, even when school's beating your ass and it feels like it'll never end. It will. Also, as aggravating as it is, most schools weigh the LSAT heavily in their admissions decisions, so if you can, I'd advise taking that multiple times and investing what time and money you can to getting your score as high as possible. I took it three times—first two times shit the bed, third time spent a month and a half studying my ass off beforehand and finally got the score I needed to get into the school I really wanted to attend. Your LSAT score can also help you get merit-based scholarships, depending on where you apply!! Research what law schools have the lowest debt-to-earnings ratio and find out about what $$$ they may offer; you'd be amazed what scholarships are up for the grabs if you check!
This may be way more advice than you want right now (I'm sorry to yell and yap lmfao) but seriously, if you need any other resources or guidance on any of this stuff, please let me know! I'd love to help in whatever way I can, and I wish you the best of luck going forward!!! 💗💗

1L here I thought you would be happy to hear that I got my first graded component back and I guess got the highest mark in my section. It’s only worth 30% of my grade but it was such a nice surprise while I’m lowkey dying over two massive assignments due this upcoming week and then exams starting the week after (even though these exams are failsafed; I’m a bit behind on course material cause I’ve been prioritizing my volunteer clinic work so I’m nervy probs mostly on ego ab them)
adorable that you want to make me proud 🥰 we should probably work on that ego of yours, once it is broken down things will be much easier for you

same cleaning-house anon but I'm sending this in a separate ask because it's a different topic
I'm trying to cover up some awful wall paint, what are the cheapest ways to do it? I'm looking at peel and stick wallpaper or just more paint, but wallpaper seems difficult to put up alone and paint seems expensive. the good brands cost a lot for even 1L and I'm worried that the cheaper brands will be flaky and ugly. Also if I do buy paint can I mix it with water to paint more area with a lower cost?

I loved BSOTL! I think about Gretchen saying "Super Best Tiger" on the daily and giggle to myself. My cat side eyes me.
I wanted to know if you had plans to write more Brio or write anything in general?
Anon, you've made me Grinch Smile thinking of Gretchen and her never-ending exasperation with her Boss slash Little Brother-Cousin she will always partially see as a 5-year-old trailing after her annoying her 🤣 🤣  Putting answer under a cut b/c I may word vomit:
I've written a bunch and it's funny you mention Gretchen, b/c I just checked and I'm up over 5K words into her POV companion to the series. (4K into Annie's, 3K into Courtney's, etc.)
I had also started imagining a canon-jumpoff AU where everything is the same except for Beth/Rio meeting a couple years down the road instead when she is shiny newly-minted Super Go-getter City Councilwoman Trying to Do "Local Business Outreach" For the Community (and her public profile/own benefit natch) and he is Local [Crime] Business Owner wanting to work this situation [her, the connections, her, more money, her] to his benefit now that Nick is in jail and Rio no longer has that previous protection on the City Council. I wrote one chapter there and it is 2K words of basically Beth/Rio's first meeting, staring fixedly and obsessively at each other across his desk trying to figure each other out (this means "manipulate each other") while Mick stands silently behind Rio totally ignored by both, desperately thinking, please. stop this immediately. I can already see this is the worst idea ever. please. I'm so tired already. please.
My actual finishing/posting problems with all this are both micro and macro tho:
Experiencing plotting issues with the other POV structures that I can't quite figure out how to fix. Should they all go together, chronologically, weaving back and forth from like Gretchen to Annie to Gardner, etc. (which means something could be revealed in like, the Annie one covering the summer between 1L/2L that would be picked up in a Gretchen one later) or each one standalone covering the entire time period of watching the Brio trainwreck? How realistic are some of scenes given they would only have information they had personally witnessed or been told about by two unreliable narrators? Too much detail and backstory into the own POVs making them too OC (original character AND out-of-character) and not enough focus on Brio? Making each a standalone "arc" (I know I'm not using the right words here as I'm not enough of a creative writer to articulate it) with beginning, tension, resolution, to stand in their own rights given how long they are or just break them into vignettes?
Lingering never-leaving thought that I need to break off from my one "story" and do something new, so I pick up the outside POVs, then tell myself "stop! be more creative!" and drop them again.
The other POV thing has been done so much better by much better authors. I'm thinking of femalegothic's On the Outside Looking In and mego42's listening through the air shaft (and tooshyforthis’s AITA for wanting to stop paying my wife’s ‘business partner’ and yelling at her? Dean POV literally the most original hysterically perfect format that I’ve ever seen with these two eyes and I think about it at least weekly and laugh) all the time and the others I've read over the years and not sure it's even worth it to try to make a pale copy of those.
Pandemic/quarantine being "over" means I'm back in my thousands of people public office full-time which is a nonstop chaotic energy drag on this lifelong Introvert such that I come home every night and just want to mindlessly scroll Reddit/Tumblr and look at pretty pictures and read brilliant other writers, not actually ROUSING myself to concentrate and contribute anything myself (my default state tbh). During quarantine, I could block off hours at a time to try to immerse myself into writing uninterrupted and now I just don't have that. I wish I could be like other people who can furiously write during like, the 5 interminable minutes before the latest Zoom call starts, but I really can't. I need it to be uninterrupted blocks of time with no other distractions or it ain't happening.
Continual (inexplicable) internal pressure that if I start something, I must finish it such that I don't really want to post a WIP and have it hanging over my head unfinished. It's funny, I was scrolling back through my late summer 2020 Tumblr the other day trying to find something and saw that I had estimated early on that I would post BSOTL a chapter every two weeks. That is HI-larious in hindsight given the gap between the later chapters. But I had the spirit back then and thought I could get it done quickly. Now with the series no longer active and the fandom much quieter such that I'm not being reminded of this hyperfixation at all times, I'd fear I'd let things lag even more, and ya girl would be eaten alive by the "unfinished" aspect of the whole shebang such that it's better not to post at all.
Feeling that the fandom has "moved on" so to speak, which obviously is totally understandable given the passage of time, but makes me think I should "move on" as well into some new obsession and focus energy there (have not found this yet, open to all suggestions as to what to fixate on now instead!)
This is more than you wanted to know, Anon, so I am sorry as per usual. If I do get anything polished up enough tho, I will either post promptly I promise or ask you for a burner email and just send it to you so I can feel like I accomplished something lol.
Thanks again for the note, I'm really glad something I wrote gives you a regular giggle - makes me happy!

song please share how you make it😭 i can’t find it anywhere, even in stores where they should sell it💔
hi anon!!! oh you're asking abour raib right fkdjsh YES. It's not that difficult, just need a little bit of patience and time:
So for 1L of whole milk.
Add sugar to it if you want (1/2 tbs max)
vanilla extract (1tbs) or vanilla powder (just for reference I use one little bag which is around around 12g of powder).
Low heat, Bring the milk to a boiling point and then remove it from heat
Let the milk cool down. While it cools down, take the yogurt, add some warm milk and stir. NOW, the yogurt you need to use is NATURAL yogurt, otherwise known as greek yogurt in the west. It has to be thicker than regular yogurt. Add the result to the milk you have boiled.
Stir, then pour everything in glasses/cups.
Now, you have different options:
1. if you have a pressure cooker: add some boiling water and then place your glasses in it and let it rest the whole night to have it ready the next morning. the more you let it rest the more thick is going to be. I let it rest for around 12 hours.
OR
2. you can heat your oven at max for 10-15 mins, then turn it off and put your cups in it, covered in a cloth and let it rest for the night.
OR
3. if you live in a hot area in summer like in morocco you can just cover your cups with tinfoil and then use an heavy cloth (even a cover lol). just consider the temperature has to be at least 30 to 40 celsius degrees for it to ferment. if it's hot outside, you can reach the temperature with an heavy cloth so it just depends on where you live or the time of the year.
after resting time take your cups and put them in the fridge for another 4 hours and there you have it! Results is a yummy thickened yogurt that won't fall down even if you turn the glass upside down.
Now you can add whatever, I have it with honey and it's a pure bliss. it's really not difficult, hope this makes sense!
