1980s Blue Binder Covered In Stickers

Probably the most 1980s thing you will see all day: a Critter Sitters Trapper Keeper.

Since Google seems to be slim on info about this for some reason: Critter Sitters was competition by Mead (the paper/stationery company) with the cutesie character fare by American Greetings and Hallmark (the Big Greeting Card Cartel) in the early 1980s. They had some popularity but not nearly that of, say, AG's Strawberry Shortcake or Hallmark's Rainbow Brite. Since Mead made the papergoods it was easy for them to put their characters out there.

In the 1980s, did you have a folder, or perhaps a Trapper Keeper, that had a painting of dolphins in beautiful jewel like waters, or alternatively, flying through outer space? Who did all those paintings, anyway?

The answer is Christian Riese Lassen, an avid surfer who loves all things oceanic, spiritual, and cosmic.
