My creativity wants a maximalist house, but my brain and germaphobia wants everything elevated off the floor and walls, very little stuff, no trinkets that gather dust.
#i want a bed i can vacuum and mop under#i dont want rugs collecting dust and hair i want wooden floors i can scrub#i want my kitchen cabinets to be steel and on legs so i can scrub them to perfection#i want things i can put in the washing machine#my heart wants an old 1930s home with lots of wood and blankets and curtains#my brain wants a perfectly isolated 2024 house i can keep spotless#thankfully i can't have either#personal#sorry I'll be a boring minimalist bitch but i can't handle clutter#no tbh you can make a house obsessively neat and clean and minimalist#without it being sad beige and boring#colorful warm interesting furniture but creepily tidy
