I finally finished the concept sketches for the emperors of Empires season 1, for my Jimnoth au fic to Love my Enemy. It's taken me like half a month to complete just the sketches cause there are so many little details and design choices that I wanted to include for some of the characters.
fyi, these are just the basic sketches so they're not very refined and on many of them, you'll see nipples and toes peeking through where there are clothes. I plan to clean them up at a later date and refine them, maybe even add color but we'll see.
anyway, here's the concepts! and because this is going to be a long post, I'll put it under a line. their heights will also be typed out below each picture in both inches and centimeters.

[ad_1] The Dallas Cowboys entered Week 3 undefeated and flexing the NFL's best defense. All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons was the reigning NFC Defensive Player of the Week, and the Cowboys had led the league in almost every key defensive metric: points allowed (10), takeaways (seven), total yards per game allowed (193.0), yards per play allowed (3.5), red zone touchdown percentage allowed (zero percent), sacks (10, tied with the Commanders), quarterback pressure rate (63.6%) and passer rating allowed (34.2). However, on Sunday, they looked like a struggling unit. In the desert against the previously 0-2 Cardinals, Dallas allowing the Joshua Dobbs-led attack to rack up points on six of nine drives. If you factor in that the ninth drive concluded with kneel downs, it was actually six of eight. The Cardinals shocked the Cowboys and their vaunted defense with a wire-to-wire 28-16 win.  The defense made sure to take plenty of blame for their contribution to the defeat, particularly for not stepping up in the run game.  "I think we just beat ourselves," Parsons said postgame on Sunday. "We put ourselves behind the eight ball a couple times. It just wasn't championship football. It was just us not executing and being flat…The outcome was definitely shocking. It definitely hurts…. I take full ownership becauseI feel like I give the team a lot of energy and I feel like I got to give more energy, I got to bring these guys together. We got to come together so we can play better on defense. I take full ownership." Parsons had challenged teams to run at him and Dallas after they held the Jets to 64 rushing yards in a 30-10 Week 2 win. "Extremely proud," Parsons said following their Week 2 win about he and his teammates ability to shut down the Jets' ground game. "I think this season we all committed to saying 'we're going to make these guys pass the ball.' We're going to force them to let us rush and when we come out, we come down and set the tone saying 'you won't run on us' and then we go get our sack, now that's what changes everything. To all the teams with them game plans, c'mon. Run at me. Run at whoever."  The Cardinals obliged, racking up 222 rushing yards, with two of their three touchdowns coming the ground via a 45-yard sprint by wide receiver Rondale Moore and a five-yard plunge by running back James Conner. Conner finished the game with 98 yards on the ground and the score on 14 carries, averaging seven yards a pop. Quarterback Joshua Dobbs, making his fifth career start, amassed 55 rushing yards on six carries -- the first of which being a 44-yard scramble -- in addition to 189 passing yards on 17 of 21 passing. Sunday marked his first career victory as a starting quarterback.  The 180 rushing yards the Cowboys allowed in the first half were the most allowed by any team in a first half this season, and the most the Cowboys have allowed in a first half since at least 1991. Dallas' first-half run defense was the worst since the Lions 240 rushing yards to the Panthers in the first half of a 37-23 loss in Week 16 last season. "It's just a game where it never came into our favor," Parsons said.  "He [Joshua Dobbs] could have done whatever he wanted, the playbook was wide open. It's hard to play against, hard to play from behind after a slow start. That's just the reality of football."The Cowboys' 222 rushing yards allowed was their second-most surrendered in a game under defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, who came to Dallas in 2021. Their worst run defense occurred in a 49-29 blowout victory over the Bears in Week 8 of the 2022 season.  "Our message is never stress, never worry and let's just get better," Parsons said. "It's still early in the season. This is the tough part about playing in the National Football League. Every team has its day. The last two weeks we were on fire and today we came out and we got lit. … We got to take on every game like it's the Super Bowl. We got to play up to our standard. Ain't no need to panic or nothing like that."The biggest panic moment defensively came on a coverage bust in the fourth quarter. "As far as the safeties go, we base that off of us. We did a poor job with communication. We have to all get on the same page, get back in the books and start back with square one on Monday. Obviously a lot of movement happened on that play. Bad eyes, miscommunication and just bad ball overall, especially in that moment. We had a chance to come back and win at that point, make a statement. We gave up the big play and they ended up scoring. That was on us as a secondary."The loss of Trevon Diggs to a torn ACL in practice Thursday appeared to play a factor in the communication across the board on that play, but the Cowboys defense is looking forward to re-establishing their responsibilities on the back end going forward. "It's definitely surprising given the way we worked this week," Hooker said. "We have been facing adversity since the beginning of the week from Tre[von Diggs' tearing his ACL in practice on Thursday], obviously Tyler [Biadasz] and Zack [Martin] being down this week. We have been facing adversity all week. We can't let up. We have to keep working and getting better. We just have to do our job. That's just communication from top to bottom. As far as the safeties go, we base that off of us. We did a poor job with communication. I am so sad, you guys.
I had a 6 pack of cherry coke zero bought last Friday. I've only had one this whole time. I had just finished my morning coffee and was really looking forward to an ice-cold soda. I was so ready I could almost taste it.
I open the fridge and look to the top shelf where I keep it and they were gone. Whomever took them even went as far as leaving the plastic rings in the fridge, probably hoping I wouldn't notice right away.
Y'all, my heart was broken. 💔
I had only had one that entire time. Only one. My husband claims it wasn't him, and 20 bucks says my daughter will say the same.
Two things I hate more than anything are liars and thieves. Whoever did this is BOTH, and exacta you don't want from me. I was on the verge of tears. I felt so betrayed. 💔 if they buy something of theirs, I don't drink them. I don't drink the beer, the dr pepper, the root beer, even the bottled water. All I have are my Lacroix and these six, SIX FKING SODAS for a week's time. I don't get it. They have so much stuff for themselves but have to take from me. Is your sht not enough? Do you have to drink all my sodas on top of yours?
It's not fair. I let them keep their stuff, but I can't keep mine?
Such is the life of me. The only reason they don't drink my Lacroix is because they don't like them.
Whyyyy? 😭😭😭

Day 1-2/100 - 1/9-1/10/2023

So I signed up for Lifetime on 12/23/2022 since it’s close to my house and the high fee will be motivation for me to go among other things. I started going and take Sundays off to relax and sometimes one other day a week if I’m feeling tired. I’m starting with cardio and then will move towards weights when I get more comfortable. Also I didn’t see much progress when I exercise but eat normally so I cut out bread and processed foods/sweets and I’m seeing some real progress. I also want to see natural color in my foods. For breakfast I ate cheerios, and instant grits and for lunch/dinner, I saw a recipe and baked broccoli and sweet potato at 400 degrees for 30 minutes and air fried some chicken breast and ate that. I also snacked on some dried mango/had that for dessert.
I then went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the treadmill for 12 incline speed 3.0 and then did 45 minutes on the elliptical the day before yesterday and 15 minutes on the elliptical yesterday. I also did 10-15 minutes in the dry sauna. Over all I’m seeing a few pounds come off which I know might be water weight but I want to try to keep going.
CONSISTENCY IS KEY! 🔑

So we've talked about my start on 5/8; I changed my diet, started working out with my trainer, made a big effort to really stick to it this time.
Where I was vs. Where I am; May 8th to June 25th
Weight: 193.0 > 173.2 = Loss of 19.8 lbs
BMI: 35.5 > 31.9 = Loss of 3.6
Body Fat: 45.6% > 40.1% = Loss of 5.5%
Subcutaneous Fat: 39.5% > 35.1% = Loss of 4.4%
Visceral Fat: 17.0% > 14.0% = Loss of 3%
Skeletal Muscle: 31.7% > 34.9% = Gain of 3.2%
Three days a week, I use the treadmill for about 30 minutes (speed ranging from 2.5 to 2.9). I then see my trainer and do 3 to 5 supersets. Mondays are Arm days, Wednesdays are Leg days, and Fridays are Full Body days.
I have not eaten things outside of my diet very much. I accidentally had about 1 tablespoon of tomatoes the other day (it was in my guac), and I ordered chicken wings one day and it was a bit breaded. I only ate 3 of the wings and it was gross, so I stopped. Otherwise, I'm killing it with my diet.
Where I know I can improve is my working out. 3 days a week is not quite enough, especially considering I only do half an hour of walking and half an hour of weights (with setup, walking from one area to another, and rest periods in there). My trainer is going to write me up a plan for my days when I'm not with her this week. That'll help me get into the gym and kick some ass even better.
