I built a miniature Va11 Hall-A Bar inside of my PC!!
Va11 Hall-A PC Parts & Build list
PC:
CPU : Intel I9 14900k
GPU: Intel Arc A770 16gb
Ram: Corsair Dominator 64gb 5600
Mobo: Maxsun Terminator Z790 D5 wifi
Hard drives M.2: Samsung 990 pro 2tb, Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb, CT 1tb,                                 Adata 500gb
PSU: ROG Thor 850 P2
Cables: Cablemod.com custom shortened and sleeved
Water loop distro : EKWB FLT 120 reservoir + D5 pump
Water loop cpu block: ThermalTake Pacific Mx2 Ultra
Water loop radiators: Alphacool HPE 20 x 2
Water loop hardware: 15 Alphacool, 3 EKWB, 2 Alphacool soft, 2 granzon
Water loop tubes: EKWB Acrylic tube 14mm, Alphacool 13/10 soft
Air Cooling : ThermalTake Toughfan 120mm x 3  + Controller
Air Cooling : Noctua 40mm pwm server fan x 2 (non visible)
Additional RGB Control : Coolermaster controller
Case:
Lian Li PC V600, left side mount, released in 2006, I acquired it in 2015 from PC Recycle in sodo Seattle.
I had to track down a new foot, one had been missing since I acquired the case (ebay)
Mods:These are the case mods I did personally
Cut a hole for the cpu mounts in the Motherboard mount plate as this case was designed for older hardware
Cut two 120mm blowholes and added aluminum covers (Dremel)
Cut Front and rear windows into side panels (Dremel Max)
Moved PSU from vertical placement in the lower right side of the case in front of the CPU  to horizontal placement in the top left in old drive bays.
The PSU bracket had to be cut to show the OLED on the side.
Modded the side panel rail slide to accommodate the PSU, I used the original aluminum stand the psu was on, cut in half and epoxied with JB weld.
Changed and moved Power/ Reset switch to the back of the case, shortened and spliced the cable
I cut and bent my own 14mm acrylic tubes (hobby miter, heat gun).
Cut and made two way mirror for the front panel
Plastic "truss" is both functional and aesthetic. It came from a Gunpla accessory kit and has two cables passing through it and it acts as the GPU support. I could only get red and had to paint it.
Notice that some logos are missing/ covered, I dislike having a case as an advertisement. The Rog eye on the PSU is mostly covered but iykyk, most of the word "Intel" on the ARC GPU, Two of the Thermaltake logos on the fan edges, the Paint on the Thermaltake Mx2 Ultra and Maxsun terminator heatsink. (I will eventually cover the visible SSD with a heat sink, cover the fan info on the rear and work a cover for the word "dominator"). the one logo explicitly unchanged is the LianLi case badge, if I think of a perfect replacement, maybe then.
Mod I did not do:
I did NOT shorten and sleeve my own cables, I used cable-mod.com. I am not confident in my ability to do this.
BAR:
"Bar Tiny" Re-ment sets from Japan, 17 sets involved.
I customized the color of the bar and chairs and shortened one table for the mezzanine. The whole bar, minus barback- is on a removable 7 inch piece of black acrylic for cleaning.
Jill Stingray Nendoroid
Jils Cat, it sleeps on the GPU
Jill Stool: Jill is glued to a cute doll stool to see over the bar
Jill Accessories non-Nendoroid: cellphone, purse, coat (ebay)
Dorothy Haze Nendoroid
will be added on release.
Bar Back:I made this myself
Black acrylic sheet, and frosted acrylic rods.
Doll Light power kit: 8 Led lights, 4 incandescent lights
USB Doll light power strip
Other Bar Accessories:
Overhead Hanging farmhouse light
trash, mop, broom, pan, mop bucket,
2 blue fuzzy chairs
Miniature plants
Miniature Microphone
Mini bottle Dom Perignon, an xmas gift from my friend nemo, it's
 on the top shelf
Problems and changes:
1. ARGB, pretty pretty pain in the ass. 4 pieces of software........
2. The water loop was changed extensively as hardware came in and space limitations were discovered. The biggest change is that I originally planned to have one radiator on the front of the case, the tubes running over Jills head and to light the tubes as lighting for the bar, to do this the fan would have been in the case proper pushing the whole bar to far into the mobo, it didn't work, so the loop was moved to the top of the case and caused me to have one complex bent tube
Second, I had planned the loop to use one sideport on the distro, but space limitation moved both ports to the top causing the complex fittings setup in that corner.
3. The MOBO, sigh. This has been clearly the most challenging choice I made in this build, I really wanted it to work perfectly too, but I rolled those dice because: Aesthetic+function, the board I wanted (https://en.colorful.cn/en/home/product?mid=84&id=400d19bc-5655-49e1-b391-df00b60935ef) was to great a risk for the cost. This was a silver medal.
I generally dislike the design options I had in the Z790 series of the big board makers (I  HATE big logos), especially the full ATX, there was one M that interested me, I should have picked it . This board has potential, but the BIOS is underdeveloped and compatibility has been problematic, I had to do a tricky outdated style BIOS update right from the box, and have had to reset the cmos a couple times. It skips BIOS on general boot and though stable, it will have to be addressed eventually, it doesn't have a proper sleep because of some issue between uefi & legacy. It may end up replaced, which will require a full build teardown.
the Turbo fan built into the board doesn't seem to function
Alos, the two argb connections on the mobo dont work, or I can't get them to recognize anything, necessitating the Coolermaster controller for the PSU and Distro. it is shoved behind the distro along with a Noctua 40mm

Meet new sewing pattern <Kanoko> Tote bag set
Meet the new item from Waffle Patterns Tote bag set <Kanoko> sewing pattern. This is a fun and functional tote bag 3 sisters set with many pockets. All sizes are perfect for daily use. Please make your favourite size with your favourite fabric. Those can be made with a relatively small amount of fabric, so, it is also nice to use your leftover fabrics from your stash.
Tumblr media
<design options>
3 sizes are available; L - grocery size, M - commuter size, and S - accessory size. The grocery size is quite large and enough for supermarket or fabric shopping. The commuter size is suitable for daily use and the size for about 10″ iPad and other small things like a make-up pouch, wallet, or snacks. The accessory size is a very cute mini size for small staffs like a lip balm or candy.
L and M are basically the same design. Both have large 3D-shaped pockets on the front, side pockets with pleats, and a small pocket on the back. There are 2 kinds of functional inside pockets, too. There are 2 options for the opening. The L size sample shows magnet fastener + strap + side release buckle opening. The M sample features a zipper opening. You can add a shoulder strap on M size.
S size has also front/back and side pockets and a very small inside pocket. The closure is a magnet/snap fastener and an inside closure with tape+button.
Tumblr media
<fabric recommendation>
The pattern is drafted for woven fabrics. Mid-heavy weight woven durable fabrics are suitable. like duck, twill, denim, linen, canvas or décor weight fabric etc. I think waxed fabrics or water repellent outdoor fabrics are great options, too. For the lining, plain cotton or linen will be a good option.
Depending on your fabric and your design intention, please consider using additional interfacing on the bag panels for adding extra strength or body.
Here are my sample’s materials.
The shell fabric of smoky pink samples is mixed twill. I wanted to add body on M size, so I used woven mid weight interfacing on bag panels. For L size, I only use interfacing on the facing parts to keep it light weight. I also made a sample of M size with mid weight denim + fusible fleece combo for stable shape.
The red and yellow plaid set are made with wool coating. Those are all leftover of my winter projects. I used woven interfacing on the panels on the M size. The lining is plain cotton.
Again, please consider the material combination depending on your fabric and design intention.
Tumblr media
<other materials>
The samples are using 30mm~40mm webbing for the handles and straps. If you cannot find perfect colour or width, making those with contrast fabrics are the option.
I used the shoulder strap from ready made bags, but you can make them by yourself, too.
For additional strength, I added the plastic plates on the base of M and S size. The special materials for the bag base are sold at notion stores, but I used plastic plate cutting from old clear files and ice cream package.
Please choose suitable materials/parts for your design and shell fabrics. I strongly recommend checking actual material samples as much as possible and experimenting your fabrics before start the project.
Tumblr media
<other>
For smoky pink samples, I used twill tape on the pocket opening of side and back pockets for strengthen and as a design accent. It is also good option if your fabric is too stiff or thick.

[03/24] - Mangamate Loop Track, Whirinaki Forest
When the weather for the Ruahine Forest Park was forecasted for rain - we looked a bit closer to home. According to the website, the Whirinaki Forest is one of the world's last prehistoric rainforests, and the theme is green - endless green.
Starting early from a nearby campsite on Saturday morning, we made it Central Whirinaki Hut for lunch with a group of 18 school students on a camping excursion. The afternoon was criss-crossing across shallow streams, over 60 times dipping in and out. There was a brief afternoon tea at Mangamate Hut before a quick trot back to the carpark.
Shooting with a 17-40mm, and learning a lot of lessons. The low f-stops really have a big impact on the depth of field.

Glow Up with the New Zealand Glow Worm
Not technically a worm, the New Zealand Glow worm, or titiwai (Arachnocampa luminosa), is a species of fungus gnat found only in New Zealand. The distinctive larvae are only found in caves, particularly those with pools of water, while adults are more commonly found near the entrance of the caves in open, brush areas and wetlands; anywhere dim and moist.
The New Zealand glow worm begins its life as one of about a hundred eggs in a clutch. They hatch about 20 days after being laid and emerge in their larval form, between 3-5 mm (0.11-0.19 in) long. They immedietly begin to build 'nests' on the cave wall or roof. These nests are made of dozens of droplets of mucus strung together into long, sticky strands. The titiwai worm then produces a series of bioluminescent chemicals in its rear end. The lights, refracted off the strings of mucus, attract insects including adults of their own species and ensnares them for the glow worm to haul in and eat.
Individuals spend 6-12 months this way, growing until they're about 30-40mm (1.19-1.57 in). They then pupate for a period of several weeks, and females continue to emit light. This attracts males, who wait on the pupa for the female to emerge. Pupation takes several weeks and usually ends in the winter, when they emerge as sexually mature adults. The adult form is about 17 mm (0.66 in) long and resembles mosquitoes, with a dark, thin body. Their last 3 or 4 days are spent mating and, in the case of females, laying eggs. Most adults are eaten by predators like spiders, wasps, birds, bats, and larval A. luminosa, and those that don't eventually starve to death.
Conservation status: The IUCN has not rated A. luminosa, and no data is available on their populations. However, much of their habitats are protected as past of parks and tourist destinations.
If you like what I do, consider leaving a tip or buying me a ko-fi!

The new tuning proposed by HKS is this Legal GTO!! Legal GTO by HKS
Sales 0544541077
One of the types of tuning that HKS proposes is "Legal."It is a group of parts that meet vehicle inspections and allow you to drive on public roads legally.
Then, with those parts as the main,
The GTO with +α tuning was born here. It's called "Legal GTO." Of course, it goes without saying that this is a complete model for modification applications.
The exterior features a stealth F bumper and S step.
The overall length is 40mm longer than the base vehicle.
The turbine has been changed from the standard 09B to 13G.
Only the compressor side will be increased in size.
Equipped with Power Flow (prototype) 75mm left and right dual legal muffler.
The main fuel will be controlled by F/CON and GCCⅡ. Boost is controlled by EVC and SBC.
Although it is quite capable, it produces a power of 337.7ps/5536rpm and a torque of 48.41kg-m/4798rpm at a maximum boost pressure of 1.0kg/cubic cm
The suspension is an original kit. The spring rate is increased from F3.9 → 5.29, R2.8 →3.29 kg/mm
Regarding the wheel size, the set size for the complete model is 16 inches. For models after M/C, 17 was set as the original setting, so 17 inches is also possible. By the way, the photo shows the reference type for after M/C, which is Weds' Adura 17×8JJ and AVS's 235/45-17.
PIC CAPTIONS
Shock + SPL kit installed
Cockpit to set up various meters
The muffler is a legal muffler that meets vehicle inspection requirements.

I took the camera out last weekend to Cabbagetown, Atlanta…yes, it’s as cool as the name sound…I took only one lens (my 50mm F/1.4) and one battery…wanted to challenge myself a bit by using a focal length that I just don’t care for…I got some great shots (I think) but I just can’t get into the 50mm focal length 🥲 It’s time to say goodbye…going to trade it and my 17-40mm f/4 L for a 28mm f/1.8 which is my absolute FAVORITE focal length! 🤤🙌🏾
