It was raining when I left for my long run this morning so I test drove my new running jacket. It is a fantastic jacket. It kept me dry and warm. I ran over the big hill then down onto the beach and ran north with the cold southerly behind me. I have not run deep into the forest since before we went on holiday. When I took my usual exit from the beach it led to a fence that was not previously there. I had to skirt around it to find my way to the trail that would take me home. Needless to say I did a few extra k's than I had planned. Not to worry I eventually found my way home. When I opened the door the smell of baking wafted over me. Hubby had been baking up a storm in the kitchen while I was out in the forest.
