Happy Sunday Runday. Long runs are back on the agenda. Today was my first time running double digit miles and I skipped 10. Feeling myself to say the least. Ignore that heart rate, it’s definitely wrong, it was raining.

As I headed out on my long run Hubby rode along with me on his mountain bike. He is testing his knee out on the bike to see how it goes. I ran up the beach which was lovely and sunny and quite warm. I then headed into the forest which was the opposite, in fact it was so dark in places I had to take my sunglasses off. On the way home I stopped to watch the touch rugby at the park but not for too long the wind was coming up and it was not warm.

Hey y’all! Long time no see. I would say it’s because I have no time because of training and grad school. But that’s no excuse 😤 I wouldn’t be where I am without this lovely community, and I should be here more to cheer y’all on just like y’all have done for me.

I had another race!! Raced a 15k and got second place in my age group! Averaged a 7:45 mile! Couldn’t have done it without my teammates pacing and encouraging me along the way.

am i meant to be a town boy rather than a city boy... living at the edge of a town with a 5km radius.... i go north i walk into the countryside with horses and sheeps and millions of bugs to look at... i go south i enter the biggest town in the region so its like bustling and urban and whatever because it's where the villages nearby congregate + international student town.... each bank in town has like 2 branches at most so i can tell my employer "sorry The Bank is closed you know how it is" and they go "yeah i know how it is :/".... fucking small town life maybe ill get bored in 2 years but i am at peace like you wouldn't believe

Honestly the doctor who special coming out feels more like christmas than christmas does. I'm actually going to bed at a reasonable time so I can get up at 5:30 tomorrow to watch it when it comes out. Kinda like a 4 yo waking their parents up at dawn on Christmas day to open presents
