The room was practically buzzing with anticipation. Dinner had been over and done with for what felt like ages, and yet no one had dared move from their seats. They remained, waiting. Because tonight was a big night. Tonight the students of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang would find out who had been chosen to compete in this years Triwizard Tournament.
“Calm down, Ced.” (Y/n) tried, her housemate and best friend practically bouncing in his seat, the anxiety flowing off of him in almost visible waves. (Y/n) herself was substantially less nervous, seeing as how her birthday wasn’t for a few more months and she was therefore ineligible for the event. Not that she’d have entered, anyhow. She valued her life, thank you very much. Cedric, however…
“I can’t help it (Y/n)! This is a huge deal! Finally, my chance to make something of myself… Ever since Harry got here it’s like I’m not good enough anymore and-“ Cedric ran his fingers through his hair in distress, (Y/n) frowning at his words, cutting him off with a comforting pat on the shoulder.
“Okay, calm down.” She ordered, the boy turning his body to look at her as she continued, knowing full well the true reasoning behind his nerves, and not liking his self-deprecation one bit… “Look, I know you want to make your dad proud, Ced. But, he loves you. And I’m sure he’ll love you just as much even if you don’t get chosen.” She ran her hand along his back in what she hoped were soothing circles, to which she was proven correct when the taller lad sunk into her embrace with a sigh.
“Thanks, (Y/n/n)… I suppose you’re right…” He mumbled, resting his head on her shoulder. (Y/n) chucked in response.
“Aren’t I always?” She asked, earning herself a playful shove back which had them both giggling. “You know, I’m still not even sure what would posses a person to want to do something like this.” (Y/n) noted, running her hand through Cedric’s hair mindlessly, as she voiced her thoughts on the tournament for what was quite possibly the millionth time. Previously, it had been in an attempt to talk the older boy out of it, though, more currently, it was simply out of spite, as there was nothing anyone could do once his name had been entered. Not that (Y/n) thought that out of all the names he’d get picked. Of course she wouldn’t be telling him that. He seemed so excited about it all. And it would be much easier to deal with a Cedric that was mad at the system for not choosing him than one mad at his best friend for not believing in him. No matter that the choice seemed relatively random…
Cedric just hummed, most likely to humor her strong opinions at this point, but (Y/n) didn’t mind, as she continued on.
“I was talking to Hermione and she said-“
“Shh!!! It’s starting!” Well, then…

“Ahh the trusty old ‘stare at her until she notices you’ trick. Works every time.” George joked from beside Fred, who sent him the nastiest glare he could muster up, before returning his attention to the Hufflepuff across the room. He just couldn’t help it. She was gorgeous. Fred had been pretty much head-over-heels in love with her since they’d been paired up for potions the first day of third year. And, much to his twin brothers amusement, he’d been fairly useless as a human being around her ever since. It’s not like Fred meant to become a stuttering mess of a man every time he was within a ten foot radius of the girl. Under normal circumstances, he could flirt his way out of a jail sentence if he really wanted to. Fred was fairly proud of this fact. But, with (Y/n), it was like he was putty in her hands. And it was incredibly infuriating…
“Shove off, mate.” Fred grumbled, finally turning his attention away from the Hufflepuff table and back to the world around him when Cedric Diggory dropped his head to rest so f*cking adorably on (Y/n)’s shoulder. Fred briefly entertained the idea of a ‘disappearing’ prank on the older bloke, but, upon the realization that that was insane, opted to simply pout at the tabletop in front of him. A nudge from his other side gained his attention away from the wood grain, however, and Fred turned to Lee with a raised brow. “What?”
“You need to loosen up, Freddie. It’s one girl. What’s that muggle saying? ‘There’s plenty of kish in the sea’?” Lee offered, confusing the sh*t out of pretty much everyone present, before George made to correct him.
“‘Fish in the sea.’ ‘There’s plenty of fish in the sea’, mate.” He said, though nobody could hold in their snickers as Lee crossed his arms across his chest defensively. Even Fred managed a small smile before returning to a neutral expression (that one might consider rather downcast for the guy in question) when Lee jumped to his own defense.
“I’m pretty sure it was ‘kish.’” He argued, clearly causing George’s annoyance to grow, while Fred remained relatively unbothered. He wasn’t looking for a different ‘fish’ or ‘kish’ anyhow. He just wanted (Y/n)…
“Why the bloody hell would it be ‘kish’? What the f*ck is a ‘kish in the sea.’” George complained loudly, unintentionally firing Lee up more. Fred rolled his eyes.
“A good snog. Lip locking. Spit sharing. You know, a ‘kish.’” He enunciated his point with a loud smack of his own lips followed by a cheeky grin that probably meant he was proud of himself, for what, Fred didn’t know. That was just about the dumbest thing he’d ever heard, and he’d been sharing a house with Ron for the last fourteen years…
“You’re an absolute idiot.”
“Hey, you’re one to talk!”
“Why don’t you say that to my face, huh!?”
“You think I won’t!?”
“Get to it, then!”
“I will-“
“Shut up, you tossers! It’s starting!” Fred almost yelled, interrupting the fighting boys when he noticed Dumbledore making his way towards the goblet at the other end of the Hall. Finally. Something to distract him…
+ + +
“Cedric Diggory!”
W-what?
The table around (Y/n) felt like it was shaking. Hufflepuffs of all ages clapping and pounding on the hard wood in support of their champion. Of Cedric…
“(Y/n/n)!” And suddenly her feet were off the ground, her best friends arms wrapped around her tightly as he swung the younger girl around in his excitement, one that she could, regrettably, not join him in.
Cedric was going to compete in the triwizard tournament... The triwizard tournament… The incredibly dangerous triwizard tournament… Cedric…
“Oh my…” (Y/n) barely managed to breathe out, in complete and utter disbelief of the situation. Meanwhile, Cedric was practically glowing.
“I did it!” He spoke ecstatically into her ear as he put her back down on her own two feet, the biggest grin (Y/n) had ever seen spread across his face. It dimmed slightly, however, when he noticed her own worried expression, and realized that she did not share in his joy.
“Hey…” He mumbled, pulling her back in for another hug, though this one considerably calmer, which (Y/n) was grateful for. “I’m gonna be okay… I’m gonna win this thing. Yeah?” He whispered so softly (Y/n) wouldn’t have been able to hear him had he not been so close.
Now, she didn’t know how much she believed him, the concern for her friend eating away at the girl immensely, but (Y/n) gave him her best smile and nod anyway, knowing that all she could do at this point was support him. Merlin knows he’s going to need it…
“I’ve gotta go with the other champions but I’ll see you later, Okay?” And (Y/n) nodded again, holding her expression for as long as she could, before finally sighing in relief when he turned, and she could drop the act and allow herself to wallow in her true feelings. God, if she hadn’t been before, she surely was nervous now…
And that was all before the boy who lived was announced as the fourth champion…
+ + +
Could this day get any worse?
Fred thought not, as the current residents of the Great Hall all sprang to their feet and began chatting animatedly about the events that had just transpired. But Fred remained stationary in his seat, grip so tight on the tables edge that, had he cared, he’d be worried he might break it.
But Fred’s mind was elsewhere, going a mile a minute in just about a million different directions.
Cedric was the Hogwarts champion…
Harry put his name in the Goblet of Fire…
Cedric was all over (Y/n) when they called his name…
Why didn’t Harry tell George and I how to put ours in?
(Y/n) looked so worried when Cedric walked off to join the other champions…
Why doesn’t she look at me like that?
“You good, mate?” Fred heard George ask from beside him, but he didn’t answer. What could he say? “No, actually. I’m incredibly offended that the girl I like seems to fancy another guy, even though I’ve given her absolutely no reason to think I’m interested in her because I can’t f*cking talk to her without sounding like a complete and utter doof.” Yeah, that would be real helpful…
“Sorry, spaced.” Fred mumbled dumbly before finally getting to his feet. “I’m tired. Let’s go on up.”
Fred knew George was looking at him funny, but he didn’t have the energy to care, as the pair made their way out of the Hall, Fred, for the first time in over two years, not sparing a single glance at the Hufflepuff table…
There’s plenty of kish in the sea, right?

It was odd having vampires for friends while being a human. Odd, but interesting.
Sam and Colby had been my friends since they moved out to LA, and it felt like we knew each other longer than that. We grew close almost instantly, telling each other some of our deepest secrets within the first few days of knowing one another. Then one day, they told me they were vampires. Of course I didn’t take them seriously; I mean who would? Vampires aren’t real.
I soon learned very quickly that they were when I caught one of the boys drinking from a girl at a party.
Eventually I came around to the idea. I mean, vampires are pretty cool, so knowing my best friends were ones was kind of awesome. Especially since that lead to so many other questions of what else is out there.
Sam and Colby weren’t much help in that department. They only knew that they were changed right before moving to LA. They didn’t know by who or why, but they learned to accept it and embrace it quickly. Everything new that they learned about themselves and their kind, they told me.
They were scared, however, that one day their secret would come out. A very small number of people knew about their... abilities. Vampires weren’t known to the broader world yet, and they definitely didn’t want to be the first to come out.
It was getting harder to hide their secret as they grew more and more successful. More eyes were on them. And then they told me about how they planned to go on a tour, meeting as many fans as possible across the US. I was excited for them, but was a little nervous. They deserved all the love that they were getting from their fans, but hiding their true identity wasn't going to be easy on tour.
But then, they asked me something I would have never expected.
“Would you go on tour with us as our... blood donor?” Colby asked, unable to keep eye contact with me.
I raised an eyebrow at him and Sam, “...What?”
“Okay, so... usually when we go out of the country or whatever, we’re able to secure a donor, or even blood bags from local hospitals. But because we are going to every state, sometimes twice, it’s hard to do that without people growing suspicious. And while we could go feed on people, we might get caught. So we were wondering if maybe you would want to go on tour with us and... we would drink from you instead.” Sam explained, fidgeting slightly in his chair.
Colby chimed in, “Of course you can say no. But if you do it, we would 100% compensate you, however you want. We know you’re busy with your career as well, but we promise to pay you well. And of course get you your own hotel rooms and food.”
“Everything would be paid for. And you would really be doing us a solid.” Sam added.
“What would my position be for those that ask?” I questioned, crossing my arms.
“You’d be our second assistant, since we already have one. Plus, we would just let anyone know that you’re our friend joining us to meet fans.” Sam answered.
“Hmm..." I asked, lowering my voice, "Does it hurt? Being... fed on?”
“The initial bite can feel like being pricked with a needle. But afterwards, it shouldn’t be bad.” Sam remarked.
Colby commented, "Plus we would give you our blo-"
Sam smacked him in the arm, glaring, "Dude, how about we ease into that conversation?"
"You would give me your blood? To what?" I queried.
They both paused, "...Drink."
I narrowed my eyes, "Humans can drink vampire blood?"
"Yes. And apparently they like it. A lot." Colby laughed.
Sam smirked, "He dated a girl once that got really into his blood. So much so she stalked him for it."
"Jesus," I mumbled. "Wait, was that-?"
"Ashley, yeah." Colby nodded.
I gasped, "Oh my god, I thought she was just crazy."
"Well, she was. Off of vampire blood." Sam chuckled.
"Our blood can give a euphoric feeling to the person that drinks it. So sometimes people react to it like it’s a drug." Colby mentioned.
Sam continued, "But it heals you, which is why we give it in the first place. If we drink from you, you drink ours."
"So... will you do it? Be our blood donor?" Colby asked, a nervous smile on his lips.
I took a minute, weighing the pros and cons in my mind. I exhaled, nodding, "Sure."
Both of them grinned excitedly. "Thank you, Y/N. You have no idea how much this helps us."
~~\ /~~\ /~~
The tour began a couple days later, all of us meeting at the airport and flying to our first stop, New York City. The meet and greet, sponsored by Zumiez, was being held in a large theater. It was gorgeous and very spacious. The nice thing was that I got my own little dressing room, filled with snacks and anything else I had requested. I was surprised at how weirdly relaxing my day had been, having just sat around and worked on a few things for my actual job.
Sam and Colby hadn't fed on me yet, and I was getting worried. How often do they need to drink? Are they both going to do it at once? Is it actually going to hurt? What-?
A soft knock at my door brought me out of my thoughts. I walked over to the door, opening it slowly. Sam stood, leaning against the door frame. "Can I come in?"
I nodded, opening the door more for him. "What's up?"
"Would you be okay with me drinking from you now? I know it's kind of last minute, but I promise next time I'll give you more of a heads up. Or maybe we could make a schedule or something." He laughed awkwardly.
"Can I ask some questions before we do it?" I requested, sitting down on the couch.
He agreed, leaning against the vanity across from me. "Of course. Whatever you want to know."
"How often do you guys need to drink?" I questioned.
"Once a day is usually our go to. More sometimes if we're really hungry or if we skipped a day." He admitted plainly.
"Do you both have to drink from me simultaneously?" I continued.
Sam shook his head, "No. If anything, it's better that we do it separately, especially since this is the first time you're having someone feed off of you."
"So Colby is gonna feed off of me later?" I asked, relaxing back against my seat.
"Maybe. He might skip today and feed tomorrow. That's what he was thinking of doing. He's a bit stronger than me when it comes to..." Sam cleared his throat, "urges."
"Oh... Have you guys ever... you know?" I mimed slicing my throat, killing someone.
He gaped at me, "My God no. We know how to stop before it ever gets to that point. The last thing we want to do is kill someone. So you don't need to worry. Plus, too much human blood makes us high."
"Really?" I snorted.
"Yeah. We only learned that from a random vampire we met in Vegas, so it might be a lie. We haven't exactly tested that theory." He commented.
"Okay..." I exhaled, "I think I'm ready."
He walked towards me, smiling politely. "Alright. Come here."
I slowly stood up, stepping towards him. He placed his hands on my waist, holding me in place.
He locked eyes with me, "If it hurts, you tell me and I'll stop, okay?"
"Yes sir." I saluted teasingly.
His face dropped, "I'm serious, Y/N. I don't want to hurt you. Neither of us do."
"I know. I appreciate the concern." I sighed, "Just drink."
He nodded, cupping one side of my face gently. He turned my head so my neck was more exposed. He lowered his head into my throat, breathing me in for a moment. My heart skipped a beat, confused and overwhelmed. I hadn't realized how intimate this was going to be.
Suddenly, he opened his mouth, sinking his fangs in. I winced, grabbing his forearms to steady myself. He took a gulp of my blood, a very quiet moan falling from his lips. I could feel my blood leave my body, my life draining gradually. My legs began to go limp, unable to hold up my body weight. Sam caught me, pressing me closer into his warm embrace. He grunted, pulling his mouth away, licking up the excess blood that spilt from the bite.
"Are you okay, Y/N? Talk to me." He held my face, making me focus on him.
I slurred my words a bit, "I feel... okayyyy."
"Here, let's sit you down and give you some of my blood." Sam walked me to the couch, placing me down. He sat behind me, leaning me against him. He bit into his wrist, blood gushing from it. "Drink, Y/N."
He pressed his wrist to my mouth, forcing my lips to open. I tasted his blood, grimacing at the taste. But suddenly, it tasted amazing. Like everything sweet I had ever had rolled into one. I wrapped my lips over his bite, drinking from him quickly. I had never been this thirsty for something before in my life. It was like being on the brink of dehydration and finding a whole bottle of water. I placed my hands on the back of his arm, needing him more in my mouth.
"There you go, baby girl. Drink up." Sam cooed, rubbing my hair softly.
I moaned against him, my body buzzing. My one hand dropped down onto his thigh, gripping it. Erotic thoughts crowded my thoughts, another groan leaving my mouth.
He pulled his arm away, sitting me up instantly. "That's enough, Y/N. Don't want to get you high."
I felt a whine fall from my lips, embarrassment heating up my cheeks as I realized what I did. "Oh, um, shit. My bad, Sam. Sorry."
"No, you're okay," he assured me, standing up. "I've heard it's hard for humans to stop once they've started, so we kinda have to yank you away from us."
I could suddenly feel my damp underwear press against me, my face burning up more. "I-I get it. Thanks for doing that. It felt like I couldn't stop. A-Are you okay?"
"Yeah, already healed." He showed his wrist, the bite gone. "Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat something. You'll probably actually feel hungry soon."
I pursed my lips. "Thanks. I'll make sure to do that."
Sam took a few steps towards the door, stopping abruptly. He spun back, his eyes wide. "Oh my God, Y/N, I'm so sorry. I forgot to tell you something!"
I blinked, "What?
"Having our blood in your system... it might make you dream about us." He stated.
I chuckled, "Wait really? That's weird."
"Yeah. But um... the dreams might be a bit on the... sexual side?" He grimaced.
My face dropped, "What."
"That's what some people, girls, have said to us in the past," he mentioned. "I don't know if it's true, but it can happen. So I just want you to be aware."
I mumbled, "Would have been nice to know about this beforehand..."
Sam replied, his expression softened. "I apologize, really. It just slipped my mind. I haven't drank from someone directly in a while so I totally forgot."
"Hey, it's alright. It's just a dream." I added, "It might not even happen."
He grinned, "Exactly."
~~\ /~~\ /~~
It happened.
It very much happened.
The dream itself was odd, all over the place, and I barely remembered any of it. All I knew was that I woke up hot, sweating, and aching to be fucked. By specifically Sam. That, tied with literally soaking my underwear as he drank from me.... I was not excited to keep this job up.
Even if the pay was phenomenal.
But maybe things would get easier. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after we got into a routine.
The next day they told me that they would make sure to have one of them only feeding on me once a day, that was I wasn't 'overworked'. Sam would go on even days, Colby on odds. And today was odd.
It was midday, the boys already a couple hours into their meet and greet. I waited backstage in a small hallway, scrolling through Instagram. Colby hadn't drank from me, and I wondered if he even planned to.
I heard footsteps coming towards me, heavy on the heel. I looked up and spotted Colby. He gave me a light smile, growing closer to me.
"Hey, are you okay? Shouldn't you be out on stage meeting fans?" I questioned, squinting at him.
"We are. We're taking a ten minute break." He responded, pressing his back against the wall by me.
"Oh, that's good. You guys have been at it for..." I checked my watch, "Four hours, wow."
Colby interrupted, "I know this is last minute to ask you, but can I... get a drink?"
"Right here? Now?" I pointed to the hallway.
"Yeah. No one is coming down this hallway. Security is making sure of that." He stated firmly.
I lowered my voice, "Do they know?"
"Of course." He bit his lip, "I'm sorry to do this right now, but I'm worried if I wait until after, I might... snap, on someone."
My eyes widened, "Oh... We wouldn't want that."
"No, we would not." He laughed nervously.
"Um, yeah. Go ahead." I stood up, taking a deep breath as I looked at him.
"Here, put your hands on my shoulders. I don't want you to fall over." He directed.
"Okay." I giggled, doing what he said. He lightly placed his hands on my hips, pushing closer to me. I did my best not to shudder, his closeness making my heart erratic. I turned my neck towards the wall, feeling his breath fan across my skin. I inhaled, and felt his teeth sink in quickly. I gasped, the pain lasting for a moment. I cupped his shoulders hard as he drank from me, slowly draining my blood into himself. He hummed, his hands slipping up my back and pulling me in deeper. I sighed, pleasure taking over my senses.
It felt good to have Colby this close, to feel him drink from me. That thought alone made my heart skip.
Colby pulled away, looking at me hesitantly, "Are you okay? I heard your heart stop for a second."
"Wha? Yeah, I'm fine." I could feel my hands tremble, "I think I forgot to breathe."
"Well, take some of my blood." He bit his wrist, pushing it towards me.
"I don't know, I think I'm okay." I argued half-heartedly.
"Drink, Y/N. Don't be stubborn." Colby smirked playfully at me.
I glared back sassily, leaning towards his bite. I placed my mouth on it as he pressed it further into my mouth. His hand rested softly on my side as my body turned into him, my back pressing against his front. As I spun, his hand drifted lower, touching the top of my thigh.
I sucked his blood down, the sweetness driving me crazy immediately. It was different from Sam's, but just as addictive. He chuckled deeply at my eagerness, allowing me to wrap my hands around his arm to keep him close.
"It's okay darling. Drink up. I'm not going anywhere." He whispered low.
My blood raced at his words, a whimper falling from my lips. I could feel it again, the ache between my legs. But this time I didn't care. All I could think about was his blood, or his cock. And both were making me wet.
He pulled back suddenly, a 'pop' noise echoing off the fluorescent lighted walls from my mouth. "Y/N, while I would allow you to drink from me for forever, I gotta get back."
"I-I-I," I took a deep breath, getting my bearings again, "Yeah. That's, um, probably for the best."
"Are you okay? Do you need me to stay with you?" He questioned, looking me over.
"No. Go ahead. I'll be alright." I confirmed.
He pressed his forehead against mine sweetly, "Hey, I'm sorry we didn't tell you sooner about the whole dream thing. How was it last night? Did you dream of Sam?"
I stepped back, blushing. "N-No. No, I didn't. I honestly can't remember my dream."
He beamed, "Well that's good. Maybe it will be the same tonight."
I nodded. "Hopefully."
~~\ /~~\ /~~
We were over a week into this arrangement and I felt like I was losing my mind.
Every day one of them was feeding on me, and every night I had a dirty dream about them. It didn't matter if I only had a sip of their blood or a lot. If their blood was in my system, I was dreaming about them fucking me senseless. And that's all I wanted. I couldn't even look at them without feeling like I wanted to rip their clothes off and beg them to fuck me.
It was embarrassing, tormenting, and made me feel insane. And also incredibly hot.
Luckily tonight was our first night off of the tour. We decided to all go out to eat and drink once it got late. Sam and Colby told me that they planned to find someone else to feed on, or possibly hit up a local blood bank, so I could rest easy tonight knowing they weren't going to feed on me.
God knows I needed the break...
Even though Sam and Colby's blood had been out of my system for a day, I still felt this overwhelming urge to fuck them. I couldn't deny that feeling this way left me confused beyond belief. Sure, they were good looking guys, and at times I had thought about kissing them or what it would be like to date them, but I never gave it more than a passing thought. But now all I could think about was them inside of me, taking me and doing what they wan-
No. No. No. Not tonight. Tonight I would relax, unwind, and drink.
And I did just that. I drank, and drank, and drank. The world felt a little off balance, a bit too spinny for my liking. I leaned against the wall of the bar, staring at the dance floor lights.
Sam sauntered over to me, "Heyyy, Y/N. You okay?"
"I'm Gucci, my dude," I snickered. I pointed at his drink, "Wait, vampires can get drunk?"
"Oh yeah. Especially since we didn't drink tonight." He admitted, then laughed. “Did you think we were acting all those times you saw us at parties plastered?”
"What really? I thought you guys planned to get some from..." I waved my hand around, "somewhere."
"We were, but it was a bust. Or our connection fell through." He shrugged it off, "But don't worry, we'll figure it out."
"I mean... you could always drink from me." I responded, ignoring the dull ache in my stomach.
He shook his head, "No, no. This is your night off. You deserve it. Don't worry about us."
I raised an eyebrow at him, "Are you sure?"
"Of course, Y/N." He confirmed.
Colby stumbled over to us, saying something in Sam's ear. "Hey, we're gonna head back to the hotel. You ready to leave?"
"Actually... yeah. I think I've drank enough tonight." I giggled, walking through the crowd to the exit with Sam and Colby.
"Well, if you need to sober up a bit, our blood could help." Colby stated.
I huffed, "It's my night off."
"...From being drank from," Colby chuckled. "But if you want our blood, you can have some. Take your pick."
I glanced at the both of them, sighing. "How about we wait until we're back at the hotel, yeah? Then I'll figure that out."
The ride home was tense, or at least it was for me. I felt like both boys were looking at me, waiting for me to make my choice. My skin grew hot under their stare, the ache coming back again.
C'mon. This was supposed to be my one night off.
Entering the hotel, the boys locked arms with me gently, helping me to the elevator.
I smiled lazily, "You don't need to help me. I'm not that drunk."
"Really? You sure about that?" Sam smirked.
"Trust me." I mumbled, "I sobered up in the car."
“Well that's good. But you should still have some of our blood.” Colby persisted.
The elevator 'dinged' softly, the doors opening slowly. I walked down the hallway towards my room, the boys following right behind me. I pulled out my key card, swiping it and yanking open my door.
I whined, trying to pull my shoes off to no avail. "Remind me to never get drunk in heels again. It sucks." I flopped down on the bed, groaning into the cover.
"So, do you want us to leave? We can always do this in the morning." Sam asked.
I picked my head up, "No, it's okay. I'll be honest, I still haven't made a decision about who to drink from."
"Well take a second if you want to." Colby spoke.
"There's no need." I sat up, turning to them. "I don't want to do it out of order so... drink from me first."
He frowned. "What? No, it's your day off."
"It's fine, Colby. I know it is, but you guys didn't eat... drink, today." I assured him.
Colby looked over at Sam accusingly, and he shrugged. "I accidentally let it slip."
"You usually are a blabbermouth when you're drunk." I teased.
Colby shook his head, "We'll be fine."
"I mean... maybe we should drink, if she's okay with it." Sam argued lightly.
"I am okay with it. Plus, you'll just give me your blood anyway. So then we'll be even." I remarked.
Colby's expression softened, Sam's face matching his. "Are you sure? I don't want you to do this if you don't want to."
"I totally don't mind, guys. Really." I insisted.
Colby paused for a minute, then nodded. "Okay, but we're only taking a little from you."
"That's fine by me." I stood up, swaying back and forth as my lightheadedness faded. The boys placed hands on my back, keeping me from falling.
Sam snorted, "Yeah, we're definitely only taking a little."
They gave each other a glance, Sam sliding towards me first. I gazed at him, snaking my eyes across his face, then tilted my head back.
His voice came out in a husky whisper, "Aren't you eager..."
I rolled my eyes, "Just do it before I change my-"
My breath hitched, Sam's fangs sinking deep into my skin. I grabbed his arms, bracing myself as he drank from me. He grunted lowly, his body firmly against mine.
I peered out of the corner of my eye, watching Colby watch us. He studied my face, taking in my expression. My eyes fluttered as Sam pulled away, stopping much sooner than he usually would.
"Fuck... I needed that." He wiped his mouth, making sure to lick the excess blood off his hand. My core throbbed at his actions. I bit my lip to keep from moaning. "Your turn, Colby."
He locked eyes with me, "You good?"
I stammered, "S-Sure. Go ahead."
"Let me know if it's too much, okay?" He uttered.
I nodded, moving my head to the other side and allowing him access. He lowered his mouth onto my neck, biting softly. I exhaled, my hands holding onto his arms. He took a few sips from me, then pulled back. "Wait, let me get a better angle."
I squinted at him, confused. He circled around, stopping behind me. His hands slithered to my hips, tugging me closer.
"Much better." He grunted, then sank his teeth into me hastily. I gasped, surprised by the force.
I looked up at Sam, his eyes gazing at us with a devilish glint. He cocked his head to the side, slinking over to us inch by inch. "I think you should take some of my blood now, Y/N. Before you get too light headed."
He bit into his wrist, placing it in front of me. "Drink up."
I leaned forward some, taking his blood into my mouth. I sighed, euphoria hitting me instantly. I had never had one of them drink from me while the other gave me blood. My mind was race, my heart pounding loudly against my chest. My body in flames from pleasure and pain. And I couldn't tell which one I liked more.
Sam's fangs dazzled in the light as he spoke, "Oh, Colby. We forgot to tell her something again."
Colby released his mouth from my neck, swallowing, "And what could that be Sam?"
Sam's eyes landed on mine, almost empty of feeling, "When you exchange blood like this with us... it makes you ours."
I furrowed my brow at him, keeping my mouth on his wound. My voice came out muffled, "Ours?"
"Yeah. Ours. See, we might have deceived you a little bit." Sam shrugged.
"Our bad." Colby snickered.
"He and I have been into you for a while, Y/N. But we knew you only ever saw us as a friend. Plus, we didn't want to have to fight over you so we thought the best course of action would be to just... make you both of ours." Sam grinned evilly, "And God, you made it so easy. Just following along without question."
Colby pressed his lips against my ear, keeping his voice deep and low. "With our blood running through your system, you will always be ours. You will be just as obsessed with us as we are with you."
My mind and body barely took their words in, the only thing I wanted was more of Sam's blood. My cunt pulsed as his blood invaded my system, my mind only thinking of him and all of the things I wanted him to do to me.
Sam yanked his wrist away, a desperate mewl escaping my mouth.
My mind was foggy, my head catching up to what I just heard. "W-W-What? Are you guys-?"
Colby spun me, pushing me back into Sam. He wrapped his arm around me tight, biting into my neck. Colby did the same to his wrist, placing my mouth on it. I grunted against him, glaring at him for a moment before all of my anger melted into pure bliss.
Colby's blood mixed with Sam's... and suddenly I wanted nothing more than for both of them to take me. God I could almost feel them inside of me, touching me in all the right spots.
"There you go, baby. Such a good girl for us." Colby smirked.
Sam pulled his mouth away, just to place it against the hollow of my ear, "Our good girl."
I could feel some of my mind come back to me for a split second. I hissed against Colby's wrist, "Fuck you."
He scoffed, "Sweetheart, you can say that all you want, but I know deep down you don't mean it. Well, you don't mean it in that way."
"Don't lie to us, baby girl." Sam sang angrily, latching his mouth back onto my bite.
"You know how we know that? I've heard you every night of this tour moan our names in your sleep. I've heard the way you whimper and cry and beg for us to fuck you when you touch yourself," Colby growled, his eyes intense as they bore into mine. "Don't deny it, Y/N.
Sam yanked back his mouth as Colby pulled his wrist away. I panted, keeping my distance from them and pressing myself against the desk. They stared me down, taking me in like prey.
My legs were shaking, my body tingling everywhere. I felt like I was on fire from the inside out. I had never been so wet in my entire life. I wanted to scream at them, to hate them, to tell them to leave. But everything in my head and body were begging them to stay; to touch me.
Sam stepped towards me, closing the gap between us, "You're ours, Y/N. Doesn't that sound amazing? To be shared by us?"
I couldn't help but nod my head. I wanted to deny it, but it wasn't true.
"No one else can have you like this. Only us." Sam whispered into my ear, turning my head gently to look at him. He leaned in and kissed me deeply, taking my breath away with the feverish kiss. My hand dug into his shirt, holding on it as his tongue tasted mine.
I was ripped away from his kiss as Colby pushed himself against me. He cupped my face, rolling my head towards him. "Only us," he stated. He pressed his lips to mine, his mouth and tongue tender against my own. I whined as I felt Sam begin to kiss my neck, nibbling and sucking on the skin. I could hear him murmur 'ours' over and over again.
Colby removed his mouth from mine, following Sam's lead in kissing and nipping at my neck and body. I was overwhelmed, my chest rising and falling rapidly. I squeezed my eyes shut, still feeling Sam and Colby snake up and down my body with their hands and mouths. A breathy groan escaped my lips, my mind unable to slow down. If they touched the right spot, I would completely come undone.
I needed them. I wanted them. I would do anything for them.
The sound of silence fell over the room. Then, a low ringing took over my hearing. Soon it grew louder and louder and louder. I popped my eyes open, gasping.
I was in my hotel room, and it was bright outside. The ringing was my alarm on my phone going off - 9:30 A.M.
I sat up, my head weighing a thousand pounds. I was in my clothes from the night before, but tucked comfortably into bed.
How the fuck did I get here? Where the hell were Sam and Colby?
It suddenly dawned on me - Oh my God, that was a dream?
There's no way. That felt too real. That can't be right.
I changed quickly, knowing that Sam and Colby would be waiting for me in the lobby so we could travel to the next venue. I never unpacked, so I threw my dirty clothes in my suitcase, and trudged out the door with everything I had brought.
I stumbled down to the lobby, finding Sam and Colby waiting off to the side for me with their luggage. Their assistant was talking to them, along with someone from Zumiez's team, about the upcoming meet and greet.
Colby beamed when he saw me, "Hey, we were wondering if you were gonna make it."
"What happened last night?" I glared.
Sam turned at the sound of my voice, "Do you not remember...?"
"Just tell me what happened. Please." I answered, short.
Colby inhaled, "Well, we planned to... continue drinking in your room. But once we got there, you flopped on your bed and passed out."
"We figured you were too tired after all the traveling and drinking that we just decided to call it a night." Sam added.
Colby commented, "I took your shoes off before tucking you in. I know you hate falling asleep with heels on."
"Oh." I vaguely remembered falling onto my bed. And my shoes were off when I woke up… "I could have sworn something else happened."
Colby gasped lowly, "Did you have a dream about us?"
I immediately blushed, "Um, you could say that."
"What was it about? Tell me." He pleaded.
"I don't think you want to know, to be honest. I squirmed under their gaze, doing my best to ignore the parts of the dream my body couldn't forget. "It was kind of all over the place. And you guys were a bit... mean, to say the least."
"Oh, shit. Well, sorry that my dream self was an asshole to you." Colby apologized.
Sam agreed, "Ditto."
I half smiled, exhaling. "Thanks. I appreciate it."
"Of course, Y/N. You're our..." Sam smiled, "best friend. We would never be mean to you."
"Unless you want us to be, of course." Colby taunted, a mischievous look in his eye.

something about trust
Writing below the cut!
“How… does it feel?” Locus asked haltingly. Lopez shrugged. “<Weird. But I expected that.>” Locus hummed, his brow furrowed like he was lost in thought as he scanned Lopez’s face. Lopez grabbed Locus’ wrists, bringing his hands to his throat.  “What are you--?” “<One way to test it. Take my head off.>” Locus’ eyes widened, his expression turning panicked. He tried to pull his hands away, but Lopez held him steady. “<You are the only person strong enough,>” Lopez said firmly, giving the other no room to balk any further. “<If this synthskin doesn’t fix the problem, I want to know now, not later.>” Lopez could feel the way Locus’s hands shifted, his fingers flexing as he fought some internal debate. Lopez couldn’t read his mind, but the flicker of those marble grey eyes was telling as Locus looked at his hands around Lopez’s throat, then to his face and then back again and again. “<It doesn’t hurt, if that’s what all this fuss is about.>” Not strictly true, having his head removed wasn’t exactly a pleasant feeling. But better to do it now, with some degree of control, than in the middle of a fight or an accident. The sensation of feeling everywhere his skin touched was strange though, the normally very localized sensors spread out across the surface of the synthskin. Was this how humans felt things all the time? No wonder they were so easily distracted. Neither of them moved. “You’re certain?” Locus asked finally, his voice little more than a whisper. Lopez raised an eyebrow and let himself grin just a little at being able to convey the sentiment properly. Maybe there were some advantages to the synthskin after all. “<I wouldn’t have said it if I wasn’t.>” A nod, then the pressure. Lopez knew Locus was strong, for a human, but the feeling of his hands tightening around his neck and pulling at his jaw, the base of his metal skull…  His head didn’t budge, and the pressure eased. Lopez clicked his tongue, releasing Locus’ wrists. “<Good. That is one problem fixed, at least.>”

Masterlist | Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
Tumblr media
(Gif not mine)
Requested? No
Summary: (Y/n) really doesn’t want to go to the stupid Halloween Masquerade Ball. But, maybe Moon was right. Maybe she’d finally find her soulmate under the cheap streamers and disco lighting… (a cinderella retelling)
soulmate au: You find your soulmate when you touch for the first time and the date and time you met becomes engraved as a tattoo on your wrist.
Warnings: starred out swear words, violence? that’s it? 🤔😂
Pairing: Robby Keene x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
‘October 31st 11:58pm’
Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
Robby. Robby Keene. Miyagi-Do’s Robby Keene. Hawk’s practical sworn enemy Robby Keene.
Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
(Y/n) didn’t know what to do. She was sure she looked like an idiot, just standing there staring at him. But what was she supposed to do? It wasn’t like she, or anyone else for that matter, had tons upon tons of experience in this specific department.
Robby Keene…
Could this night get any worse?
“Why don’t you come over here and say that to my face, you little b*tch!”
Right…
The sharp pull, which was slowly becoming more familiar to the girl, was what brought (Y/n) out of her thoughts. She was confused again about its origins, but only for a moment before realization struck her like Hawk’s fist slamming into the side of Demetri’s face, which she could practically feel from where she stood.
Robby was gone.
And that was the pull. It was Robby. Robby, and the soulmate bond. Because Robby Keene was her soulmate. (Y/n)’s heart fluttered all on its own at the thought, and, against her better judgment, she allowed herself a moment to appreciate it. Robby was her soulmate. (Y/n) had found her soulmate. And he was… well, (Y/n) didn’t really know. But the universe did. And that was good enough for her. Her Cobra Kai friends, however, might take more convincing…
But, of course, she didn’t need to deal with that right now. No, right now, (Y/n)’s brain had apparently made the executive decision that she needed to, instead, make a break for it. Not that it wasn’t warranted. The whole evening had been an emotional roller coaster. So, fleeing the scene seemed like a fairly acceptable thing to do. And she hoped Robby would see it that way. He seemed pretty preoccupied presently anyways…
“Moon!” (Y/n) ran through the crowd, pushing past shocked partygoers who were watching the madness going down on the dance floor, and mentally cursed at herself. Why had she thought hitching a ride was a good idea instead of making her own way to this thing, knowing full well she wouldn’t have wished to stay as long as her friends did anyways, even if she hadn’t run into such a crisis as she now knew as “Robby Keene.” She honestly just hoped at this point that the other girl would be too preoccupied trying to stop her boyfriend from causing an all out karate brawl in formal attire to think too much about whether or not she should hand over the keys. Because (Y/n) really needed to get out of there…
“(Y/n)! Where’d you go!?! We were worried you got caught up in…” She trailed off, gesturing towards the mess that (Y/n) could vaguely see a familiar jacket in the middle of. Her heart jumped against her will when she caught sight of the boy she was universally destined to be with, and for a moment she contemplated staying to see if he would be alright, but then all the problems that come along with him returned to the forefront of her mind and (Y/n) was forcefully reminded how much she needed to be gone when he finally did come looking for her.
“Moon, I have to get out of here! You have to help me!” (Y/n) knew how frantic she sounded and almost felt sorry for the concern she was probably filling her friend with, but she just didn’t have time to sit around and explain. The fight was still raging, of course, but who knows how much longer it could go on for. And she needed to make her escape while they were all distracted…
“What are you talking about? We’ve gotta stop them!” Moon started dragging (Y/n) along with her, destination clear but, even if it hadn’t been, the return of the pulling sensation (of which (Y/n) had just now decided to describe simply as “Robby”) would have given it away. And that was the opposite of what she wanted…
“No! Moon, please! You have to get me out of here! It’s an emergency!”
Now, Moon didn’t initially look like she believed her, which caused (Y/n)’s heart to drop into her stomach. She hadn’t had time to think of the possible outcome if Robby did catch up with her. What do I say? What do I do? It was almost impossible to imagine the interaction not going horribly wrong in some way, and that only pushed (Y/n) further towards the flight side of her “fight or flight instinct.”
But, thankfully after a moment, which felt painfully more like an hour to the attempted runaway, Moon finally sighed and pulled a set of keys out of her purse.
“They’re to Hawk’s truck.” She explained, holding them out to (Y/n), but quickly pulled them back to finish her thought before the other girl could grab them. “But, you better bring it back to the dojo tomorrow, got it?” (Y/n) nodded eagerly, not caring that that meant making a pit stop at the Cobra infested place the next morning. She’d worry about that later…
“Thanks Moon, you’re a life saver! I’ll see you tomorrow!”
And off (Y/n) ran with the keys, away from the quickly escalating situation behind her, and, of course, the potential boy of her dreams…
+ + +
Robby threw another punch into the fray, but his heart just wasn’t in it. He didn’t even get her name… God, why didn’t I get her name?
The mark on his wrist felt like it was burning but Robby knew that was all just in his head. But, then again, his head was swimming with so many thoughts that he couldn’t quite pinpoint which one precisely to mentally yell at to quiet down in order to stop the phantom pains.
Someone sending a sharp kick to his side brought Robby back to the situation at hand and he glared at the Cobra who he didn’t even recognize. He figured he must be one of Hawk’s though because he knew everyone in Miyagi-Do. Robby sent a kick back, using more force than necessary, though he wasn’t about to admit the reason behind it, figuring it would be childish to say he was mad that this whole endeavor had interrupted his conversation with the girl. His soulmate…
This was so stupid. He shouldn’t be here dealing with this sh*t. He should be with her, getting to know her, falling in love, all that mushy stuff. But no. Robby was more worried about this dumb karate war. What was wrong with him?
“Robby!? Where are you going!?”
But he ignored whoever it was, not even caring enough to look back as he shoved random Cobras out of his way, charging back towards where he’d last seen her. Because he needed to see her… His soulmate…
But the table was empty, and the girl? Nowhere to be found…
Robby’s heart clenched. Where did she go? He looked around frantically, the longer he came up empty handed the more worried he became, as his thoughts ran wild with what he was going to do now. He’d never met her without a mask on. He didn’t know her name, or literally anything about her. How was he going to find her?
And then, Robby caught sight of an all too familiar green dress, and almost sighed in relief. That is, until he realized it was running, so fast you’d think she was being chased, and so far in the opposite direction…
“No! Wait!”
In any other circumstance, Robby definitely would have caught her. While she was running incredibly fast for someone in a floor length poofy dress and heels, Robby’s own dress clothes were much more equipped for the exercise. But the crowd was so big and everyone was pushing him back towards the mess he was trying to get away from, and she just kept getting further and further away.
“Stop! Please!”
But by the time Robby had finally made it through, she was gone again, though this time leaving something behind…
He kneeled down with a frown, picking up the little keychain that seemed to have fallen away from the others in her haste to leave, hope growing in his chest at the thought that maybe this could be a clue to help him find her. But then his blood ran cold as Robby read the words printed across the leather…
COBRA KAI KARATE

~~~~~~~~~~
I waved at the camera, beginning my intro, "Hey yall, welcome back to my channel. Today, I'm gonna be pulling a little prank on Sam with the help of someone very special."
"Hi guys!" Colby grinned.
"Thank you so much for being on my channel today, Colby." I glanced over at him, copying his smile.
He nodded, "Of course. Wouldn't miss it for the world."
"So today, I decided I'm gonna prank Sam, in a very unusual way." I stared mischievously into the camera, "I hired a psychic and she's gonna read our futures. That's what Sam thinks this video is gonna be about. But the catch is that she's gonna make it seem like me and Sam are destined to be together."
Colby chuckled, "Oh my God, that sounds so funny."
"I hope she goes all out. I'm talking 'you two are soulmates, you need to get together now', things like that. Just to really nail home that we are supposed to be together." And as you guys know, especially if you've watched me before, me and Sam don't exactly always get along.
“You guys do fight like an old married couple though.” He snickered.
“Of course you would know that feeling, Colby. You guys are basically already married.” I sassed.
"He really is my husband. But I’ll gladly share him with you.” He teased.
I playfully swatted at him, "Anyway, I wonder what Sam's reaction is gonna be to all of this."
"Fingers crossed he runs out of the psychic's place screaming bloody murder." Colby joked.
"Jesus, that would be dramatic." I mumbled more to myself than the camera, "I'm not that terrible."
"I don't think that way, but you know Sam does." He mentioned.
I lowered the camera, glaring at him for a second. "Colby, I can't keep that in the video."
“Well, cut those parts out." He suggested.
"Fine." I cleared my throat, pulling the camera back up, "Wow, that would be kinda crazy to see. Alright, now we wait for Sam to come, and I'll catch you guys up when he gets here."
"Do you honestly think this is a good idea?" Colby questioned, raising an eyebrow at me.
"Oh, it's probably a horrible idea. And Sam is gonna be deeply annoyed with me for a while, since we all swore off pranks. But I don't care. Last week he pissed me off at Sarah's party and this is his pay back." I huffed.
"I wonder how he's gonna actually react to this. He's never had his love reading done before." He stated, looking at the cars passing by.
I shrugged, "Neither have I. But knowing him he's gonna go down the route of 'none of this is real, she's lying' and then he'll find out it's a prank and laugh for the camera, but yell at me afterwards."
"You two love to fight and argue, that's for sure." He jested, smirking devilishly.
"What can I say? He knows how to get under my skin in just the right way. So I have to reciprocate it back." I replied, glancing at the street, waiting to see Sam's car pull up. He was running late.
"Why do you let him upset you so much, if you don't mind me asking?" Colby pushed lightly, his voice low.
"When I first collabed with you guys, I wanted to make a good first impression. And when we investigated, it seemed like Sam really liked me. Or at least tolerated me and respected me." I narrowed my eyes at the memory, sucking my teeth, "But to hear him badmouth me later directly to one of my friends while he was at a party drunk, it just became clear to me that he was fake. Or at least... around me he was."
He shook his head, "Sam's never been like that before. I don't know why he would do that to you."
"Well, all I know is that he thinks I'm arrogant and loud and that I act like I'm better than everyone. Which is fucking hysterical given the fact I hate myself." I deadpanned.
Colby's expression softened. "Don't say that."
I glanced at him quickly, "Sorry, I don't really hate myself that much, but you get what I mean. Well, jokes on him. Your fans love me, and have asked me back twice at this point."
He snorted. "You have no idea how much it pains him to hear the fans love you. It's honestly really fucking funny."
"If it continues to piss him off, then I'm glad." I jeered.
He pointed at the car behind us, peaking into the rearview mirror, "Speak of the devil..."
I unbuckled my seatbelt, slowly getting out of my car. I glared at his Tesla, stupid fucking car, and trudged over to him. Colby walked up to him, giving him a quick hug.
His car had a light sheen on it, clearly wet from a wash. "Was it really necessary to get your car detailed before my video?"
"Of course it was. Anything to delay this, the better." Sam replied, smiling.
"God, I regret asking you to be in the video. I should have just got Colby." I grunted.
Sam pulled open his car door, "I could leave right now. Trust me, I wouldn't mind."
"No. I want you here, just so I can continue to torture you." He rolled his eyes at me, shutting his door and alarming his car. I continued, "Hey, maybe the psychic can tell us how far up the stick is in your ass."
He feigned a grin, walking to me. "Maybe she can tell us why you constantly have a shit dating life."
"Well, you would know that very well, wouldn't you? Mister Unable-to-Commit." I sneered, stepping towards him.
Colby stood between us, "Children, please. Can we stop fighting and just film the intro with all three of us? We are gonna miss our appointment with the psychic."
"Fine. You ready?" I watched both boys nod, Sam rolling his eyes at me. I glared, turning my camera on, pausing, and then starting the fake intro. "Hey guys, today I'm here with Sam and Colby!"
The boys cheered, jumping around and acting like fools for a moment. Sam stepped towards me, yelling almost in my face. I did my best to not react, to only keep smiling.
"Wow, what an intro." I faked a laugh, trying to ignore the ringing in my ears. "So today we are at a psychic tarot reader and we are gonna get our fortunes read. Have you guys ever had that done before?"
"Yes, and boy did it tell us some bad things." Colby answered, smirking.
It hit me suddenly, one of Colby's past readings. I gasped, "Oh my God, I forgot about that!"
Sam chimed in, "Fake fan."
"Well, let's hope for some better futures then. Let's go!" I pointed at the door of the building, then turned the camera off. I smacked Sam's arm, a wince falling from his lips. "Did you really need to fucking say that? Or scream in my ear for that matter."
"What? It was just a joke." He rubbed his arm, his eyes intense, "Don't get your panties in a twist."
I crossed my arms, “I’ll make sure to send the bill from my otolaryngologist to you.”
Don’t make up words, now.” He mocked.
I quipped, "That’s a real word, dumbass. God you are such a jerk, you know that?"
"A jerk?" He covered his heart, pretending to be wounded. "How will I ever sleep at night?"
I went to step to him, but Colby got in the way. "Don't. He's just fucking with you. Don't let him piss you off." Sam turned and walked inside. Colby lowered his voice, "Besides, you'll be getting him back soon enough."
"I know. This psychic better bring her A game." I grumbled.
We stepped inside, the scent of palo santo hitting me immediately. I felt a cozy feeling flood through me; the walls a lush deep purple velvet, the furniture in earthy and jewel tone colors. There were little trinkets and witchy things all around, some of which you could buy. I walked over to the crystal display, picking up a piece of amethyst.
"Do you honestly think crystals work?" Sam asked.
I hummed, "I'm not sure. But I like the pretty colors."
"Of course you do." He murmured.
My shoulders dropped as I spun to face him, "Have you ever considered not being mean to me?"
"I'm not being mean!" He whisper-yelled. "I'm just saying that you give off the vibe of someone that likes pretty things, including crystals."
"Oh... thanks, I guess." I looked him over, confused and annoyed. "You could have worded it differently, you know."
"Well, if you stopped assuming everything I say to you is me trying to be a dick, maybe we wouldn't be in this situation." He argued.
I place my hands on my hips, “Well if you would stop being a dick to me, I wouldn't think you're trying to always be mean."
He furrowed his brow, "Are you really still upset about-"
"Of course I am." I hissed.
He rolled his eyes, "You're sensitive."
"And you're a prick." I spat.
"Hello! Sorry for coming out a bit late. Was just finishing up my lunch. You guys must be," The psychic looked down at her paper, reading our names. "Colby, Y/N, and Samantha."
"Sam. It's Sam." He corrected.
She gazed down at the paper for a second, frowning. "Oh, my apologies. Must have been written out wrong."
"Must have..." He glared at me, and I smiled sweetly.
Colby politely stuck out his hand, "Thank you for having us. It's a pleasure to meet you..."
"Agatha Cerrony. But you can just call me Aggie," she giggled, shaking his hand. “Okay, so do you want to set up your camera, or how do you guys do it?"
"I was thinking one of us goes at a time, perhaps, and whoever isn't going will film. If that's okay with you?" I inquired, pulling out my camera.
"Of course. Whatever works for you. I will say though, I do recommend that anything too personal shouldn't be filmed, or posted, at the very least." She remarked.
"Yeah, I plan to condense all of our readings down into just some small little bites of info that fans will like to know and that we feel comfortable sharing." I explained, trying to sound serious enough so Sam wouldn't be too suspicious.
"Okay then, who wants to go first?" She asked, looking at all of us.
Colby raised his hand. She grinned excitedly, pointing him to one of the velvet stools in front of her desk. She went around, sat on the other side, and grabbed her tarot deck.
His reading went on for 20 minutes, going through multiple topics like his love life, his relationship with himself and his family, and what the future held for him and his career. I assumed that this part of the reading was true, given how easy going she was saying all of this. And since none of it sounded over the top or dramatic, it seemed pretty realistic.
Then it was Sam's turn. As Colby got up, he gave me a small wink. I choked back a giggle, keeping my face as stone cold as I could. The psychic shuffled the deck quickly, asking him what he wanted to talk about first.
"My career, please." Sam stated.
I rolled my eyes behind the camera, of course that's what he wants to talk about.
She placed three cards down, explaining that the next couple months were going to be full of success, much like Colby's reading. "However, there might be a hiccup in the future, so be cautious of new advisors or managers coming into play." Also, some of their biggest success was just a couple months down the line if they continued down this great path.
"So, keep a clear mind and focus," she reiterated. "What next?"
"How about your love life, Sam?" Colby suggested.
I beamed, "Yeah, that would be so cool to hear about."
Sam sighed, "Ehh, I don't really care-"
"Come on, Sam. Aren't you the least bit curious? You haven't had a gf in almost a year. That's almost unheard of for you." I jested.
He narrowed his eyes at me, "Thanks, Y/N."
Colby smirked. "Look I got mine read, and she's gonna get hers. Do yours."
Sam turned back to the psychic, shrugging nonchalantly. "Fine. Tell me about my future girlfriend. Or love life..."
Aggie nodded, shuffling the deck quickly. I grinned over at Colby, zooming in on the cards she pulled from the deck. "Well, these cards are telling me that while you have been single for a bit, you do seem to have feelings for someone, even if you don't like admitting to it."
Colby audibly gasped, "Wait what?"
"Oh... that's," Sam cleared his throat, "um, interesting."
"It feels like you hold yourself back a bit when it comes to this person." She placed a couple more cards down, pointing at the first one, "This card shows that while you do have feelings, you also are upset with this person. Or maybe, it's more of a back and forth with them. Sometimes you love them, sometimes you hate them. They frustrate you, but you also enjoy that frustration."
"Sounds like someone we know..." Colby whispered to me.
"Do you know who I could be talking about? Is there someone in your mind?" She queried.
Sam squirmed in his seat, shaking his head. "Um, n-no. I don't think so."
She squinted at him for a moment, "Okay..." Aggie pulled more cards from the top, nodding her head at them. "Oh, see. This explains some stuff to me."
His back stiffened, "What do they say?"
"So, you and this person go way back. And I mean, beyond this life. You guys knew each other eons ago. And there is some unresolved tension from a past life that has caused you guys to butt heads all the time." She answered, pointing at the cards.
He blinked. "The cards say all of that?"
She chuckled lightly, "Well, yes and no. I am also a psychic so I'm tapping into my spirit guides to help me explain some of the cards more."
Colby nudged Sam, "Dude, you've been crushing on someone? Why haven't you told me? Do I know her?"
Sam pffted, "I wouldn't say a crush-"
Aggie shuffled the cards again, placing three more down. "You both know her. She's someone you met recently, probably within the last couple months. A very strong energy comes from her, which is why sometimes you butt heads. She meets you with the same energy you give."
"Recently met... strong energy... that sounds like you, Y/N." Colby commented.
"What?! Don't say that." Sam exclaimed.
I faked a glare at Colby, "Yeah, don't start Colby."
Aggie collected all of the cards, "If you want, I can see if you guys have a connection."
Sam inhaled sharply, "I don't know."
"It would be good for the video." I whispered to him.
"You're not posting this unless it says we aren't a match." He scowled.
"Alright, relax Sam. I'm not gonna post it." I gave the camera to Colby, winking. I sat down next to Sam, watching him as he scooched his chair away from me.
Aggie shuffled, placing some cards down. "Oh, well that's interesting."
"What's that?" I asked.
"Well I did pull the Lovers card, but it's in reverse." She replied.
Sam questioned, his voice cold. "What's that mean?"
"There seems to be some form of an imbalance between you two. Something that should be talked about. And these cards right here," she pointed to the others, "show that there should be harmony between you two. Because if there was, you would be together. Whether as friends or more, depending on your choice. But there is something keeping this distance and frustration between you two."
"Wow, that's crazy." I pushed for more ‘answers’, loving the way Sam's face contorted in anger. "Am I the one he has a past life with?"
"Really, Y/N?" Sam whined.
"What? Relax, I highly doubt-" I started.
Aggie interrupted, placing another card down, "Yes. You two definitely knew each other in a past life. I personally believe you used to be husband and wife, just from what my spirit guides are telling me."
"I-I'm... What?" Sam stuttered.
"I think there is a lot of unresolved communication between you two, as appearing in this card." She held the card up, showing it towards the camera. "Now obviously, I don't know for certain what's going on inside your head, but if you want to fix things between you two, and I suggest you do, you have to talk to one another. Because from what I can see, you two would work well with one another. Possibly soulmates, if you believe in something like that. But only if you listen."
Sam stood up instantly. "Okay, I think I'm done with my reading."
"Aw, you scared we're soulmates?" I taunted.
"Don't you want to get your cards read? It's late." He retorted, his eyes not meeting mine.
"Well, since your love reading turned into my love reading, I guess I'll ask about my future or whatever." I shrugged happily.
Aggie shuffled the cards as I asked about my career and future friendships. I barely paid attention, figuring the video was already done anyway. I honestly deserve an Oscar for the way I was able to hold back my laughs. God, the look on Sam's face was priceless. He looked so pissed but also weirdly nervous.
Can't wait to make it the thumbnail.
"Is there anything else you would like to ask?" She questioned, collecting her cards.
"No, I think I'm all good here." I turned to Colby, smiling at the camera. "How about we'll regroup outside and talk about what went down then?"
Colby nodded, turning the camera off. "Sounds good to me."
Sam said nothing, walking over to the waiting room chairs with Colby. As they grew closer to each other, Sam spoke in hushed tones to him.
I turned back to Aggie, shaking her hand softly. "Hey, thank you so much for letting us film here. I really appreciate it. That whole bit about Sam and I being soulmates was really good."
She raised an eyebrow at me, "Bit? I'm not sure what you mean by that."
"Also, I know this is probably really weird to ask, but on the phone, you had a thick accent of some sort..." I explained, a bit confused, "It almost sounded French to me? Are you from there or-?"
"Oh! You must have been talking with Madeline," she laughed. "She's the owner of this place, I'm just one of her friends who does readings from time to time."
I hesitated, her words sinking in. "Um... wasn't she the one that was supposed to do the reading?"
"Yeah, did she forget to call you? She's sick, out with a cold," Aggie mentioned. "But I figured she wouldn't mind me doing your reading anyway. We've both been practicing tarot readers for 20 years."
"Uh.. Uh, did she tell you about what I wanted this reading to be about?" I stammered.
"Unfortunately she didn't write that out in her schedule, but you asked me during your session. Was there anything in particular you needed me to read for you? I can do another session real quick before the next group comes in." She suggested.
"No, no that's fine. Um, I-I..." I exhaled deeply, trying to calm myself. "So everything you just told me, about me and Sam and how in past lives we were together and that we would actually work out really well if we dated... that was all true?"
"That's what the cards said, yes. Along with my own personal psychic feelings," she admitted. "If you want I can give you some more resources and you can look the cards up on your own if you need some further explanation."
"Thank you, I appreciate that." I mumbled, barely listening to what she said.
As she gathered up some papers, jotting down some books for me to check out, I glanced over at Sam. He was still talking to Colby, but looking at me. His face was hard to read, but his eyes had this softness in them I hadn't ever seen before.
My heart skipped a beat as we locked eyes.
