taking down some Christmas decorations this afternoon

i cancelled my DirectTV streaming subscription.  i don’t watch enough TV to justify spending the money and there is enough free streaming stuff available.  i may sign up for a different streaming service in the future if i don’t find enough to watch.

received my check in the mail from working the December election.  i went to the bank but they are closed for the holiday.

12262022 blade runner // 1982 // ridley scott i forgot to post about this yesterday!! i watched it last night with friends. i really loved this movie, and there are specific moments of it that have not left my mind since watching it. sincerely magical at its best, but i did find the relationship between deckard and rachel to just be a little off. still, this was literally incredible and has one of my favorite climaxes in like any movie i've ever seen.

We were supposed to watch Avatar: Way of Water sa Uptown Cinema. Unfortunately, they took it down to give way to MMFF entries. Ewan ko ba. Hindi ko rin naisip na aalisin nila yun and hindi na rin kami nagcheck online.

With a broken heart and empty stomach, we decided to just eat first, pampalubag-loob ba. We've always wanted to try Pizza Express pero saming dalawa ni Lancelot, ako lagi yung may reservation to try something new kasi may tendency akong hindi umubos ng food pag hindi ko talaga nagustuhan. NAKAKAPANGHINAYANG.

So anyway, after so many attempts, I finally got the courage to try their foods (but of course I've read a couple of food blogs first lol). Surprisingly, Pizza Express didn't disappoint!

The meals we've ordered may look bland but in actuality, each one of it has its own explosive combination of aroma and flavors, making us wanting to finish them off immediately kasi super yummy talaga. Another food place made it in our list!

I can't write this down in a foodie blogger way, but i believe you guys can get this kind of feeling that while you're eating, you are making a mental note of taking your loved ones here next time so they can try it out as well... Ganun na ganun yung nafeel ko.

Funny trivia: Ayoko kumain sa lugar na white yung lighting kasi feeling ko hindi masarap haha. Usually kasi yung mga restaurants with warm light yung talagang go-to place namin.

Well I guess now it changed... Sort of. All in all, we've loved our experience here. Sobrang enjoy kami and super busog. So nice pa the servers. You can ask them for recommendations if you're unsure what to order. Very welcoming and considerate to our requests. Hats off! Will definitely go back to try the other flavors.
