I had a dream the other night that I heard a choir of unearthly beautiful singers,. then I was walking up out o the sea which had come up into the back yard of a house. I heard people talking behind me, but, when I looked back, there was no one. As I walked up out of the water, I was very happy. I said "This is it!" (my death) and, I woke up.

I went open water swimming today, 12/30/2023, in Aquatic Park in San Fransisco. I'm a member of the Dolphin Club, a swimming and rowing club which is part of Aquatic Park. We have a private beach from which we enter the sea to begin and return from our swims. There is a final set of maybe 10 stairs from the deck down to the beach. I heard some fellow swimmers say today that the tide was high and had reached the second stair at times.

The water and the stairs reflect eternity to me. walking up out of the sea , or entering it to swim, is like an encounter with eternity. I think that my many swims in Aquatic Park evoked the dream I previously described.

i gave them all nicknames later, and for my own sake, i won't actually record these ones for the future: they're not the main team for the whole run, so i just kind of think of them as a bonus team i set up for the Terarium. i won't mind having them on the team with sandwiches, either!

this team, in full, is a Swampert, Skarmory, Cincinno, Reuniclus, Rampardos, and a Rotom! i changed that last ones form into Oven initially, but grinding was better with Mower. did a bit of levelling and EV grinding, some Mints, the ability patches and capsules since i'm not interested in competitive. pretty kitted out team.

“What did he call dibs?” Andrew asks.

Neil lets out a laugh, “Pretty much. He doesn’t want anyone’s suit to be darker than his unless he accepts that they’re above him.” Andrew can hear the sound of clothes being taken off and, more importantly falling to the ground.

“Slob.” he comments idly.

“Oh shut up, I was going to hang them up in a second.” Neil bites back.

The two of them continued to try different fits until eventually they found something that had Andrew staring…perhaps indecently long.
