Finished When the Phone Rings. Last 2 episodes especially the final one were not up to the standard of the previous ones but it's still a 10/10 drama for me. They maintained the tension so well, it never sagged, the characterisation despite being ridiculous was actually consistent and until the last part the insane plot actually made sense! Completely insane show, just the right length - loved it!

Watching The Empire Strikes back
The old sounding theme
Didn’t Mark Hamill get into an accident before filming this one?
What is up with the Dalek looking probes?
Mark Hamill looks so young.
He sounds so young.
Bruh, Luke wtf?
Y’all I fucking see it! I paused it at 4:27 and for a moment thought that Han was being played by Adam Driver. I definitely see the resemblance now.
Rip Chewie’s original actor
Wheretf is Leia?
There she is.
SPACE MOM LOOKS SO YOUNG
Rip Carrie Fisher while we’re here
Damn, Carrie talks so quietly during this scene.
Damn, Leia’s sass is amazing.
Leia hiding her feelings. Are we positive that Leia wouldn’t be an awesome Gen-Z?
Everyone walking in-between Leia and Han as they fight, iconic!
The angry “YOU COULD USE A GOOD KISS!” Sounds so much like Ben/Kylo. It’s nuts.
Above scene is at 6:27.
3P0! R2!
“OH SWITCH OFF!”
Han looks feral, that’s all I’m saying.
Han’s concern for Luke and Leia warms my heart.
“Between ourselves, I think Master Luke is in conciderable danger.”
“That’s right. My friends right out in it.”
Han, admit it, you’re attached to Luke.
“Then I’ll see you in hell.”
Damn Han.
Ya’ll I forgot that most of the “cgi” was stop motion in these first three.
The old force theme.
Rancor? Thingy is cool.
R2 willing to freeze for his Skywalker master makes me want to cry.
R2 DONT SOUND SAD!
Are we close to shoving Luke into a tauntaun yet?
The rebellion people being concerned for Leia’s worry over Luke and Han while C3P0 just walks up.
Leia closing the doors to the base and Chewie looks so sad.
I’m legit about to cry. They mimicked Chewies cry from this to put into TROS when they tell Poe, Finn and Chewie that Leia’s dead.
Shelby is joining me in my watch of Star Wars.
We’re shoving Luke into a tauntaun now!
Obi-Wan absolutely dissing Qui-Gon.
Glad to know the Tauntaun died of the cold,
Han wielding the lightsaber!
They’re so happy to have found Luke and Han
The bacta tank
Luke is like, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED WHILE I WAS ABOUT TO GET EATEN!?
The iconic Laserbrain scene.
Chewie laughing and Han looks so betrayed.
NERF HERDER!
Have I mentioned I love Leia?
The sad look on Han’s face when Leia calls him scruffy.
Luke’s like PLEASE DONT GET ME IN THIS!
I forgot Luke and Leia kiss!
3P0 casually mentioning that it isn’t a rebellion signal
Oop, here comes Anakin “So, do you like my plan?” Vader Skywalker.
The Falcon absolutely wreaking Han.
Han and Luke silently communicating.
Vader’s egg.
Vader casually killing someone while talking.
Have I mentioned I love Leia?
The stop motion is amazing.
THE AT-AT!
3P0 casually reminding R2 to be safe.
Luke trying to save his friend
Han running back for Leia.
Han catching 3P0.
Anthony Daniel’s autotune.
The very old sounding theme.
Luke gets his dumbass traits from Anakin.
Carries scream.
Where in the hell is the scene where 3P0 rips the warning on a door?
R2 being worried about Luke.
“Take Evasive action!” Almost dies.
The scene where Han is on the pole and his ass is on display, thank god Harrison Ford got paid for that.
Leia trying to fly falcon shows that she’s a Skywalker and has that natural ability to fly.
Had to switch over to my computer.
“Never tell me the odds!”
Oof, Dagobah.
Here comes the green dwarf who drinks coke every day.
Luke’s X-wing.
R2 falling into the water
R2 scream
Yoda should show up soon.
Vader’s egg.
Anakin’s crusty head.
Han catching Leia
Leia getting pissed
Han flirting
Here comes Yoda, the coke drinker.
Yoda’s so damn high. I’m meaning weed type of high
R2 getting beat by Yoda.
You know for a fact Yoda was beating R2 because he remembers Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker’s way too damn modified Astromech.
How the fuck is Frank Oz still alive?
3P0 wants his husband.
Oop, here comes the kiss scene with Han and Leia.
Han calling Leia by her first name for the first time.
“Scoundrel?”
“I happen to like nice men.”
Finally!
Fucking 3P0!
Han looks so vulnerable.
Oop Palpatine.
Vader’s egg.
Ian McDiarmid has been playing Palpatine since 1980.
Anakin learning that Luke Skywalker is his son and having to pick between killing him and wanting to finish raising Luke. It’s quite sad actually.
R2 getting drenched scares me.
Luke hiding his distaste for Yoda’s food.
Yoda and Obi-Wan talking.
I’m gonna be honest, I hate Yoda. He’s an old man who is doesn’t want change until literally episode 8. He may have taught Luke something but Luke had to learn the way of the force by himself.
Also, Yoda scares me.
Have I mentioned that I love Leia?
“I have a bad feeling about this.”
C3P0 yelling at the Mynock.
Leia faceplanting into the Falcon.
“I am not a committee!”
I don’t like the Luke/Yoda training scene.
The only thing that I believe that Yoda taught look was to absolutely fear his connection with the force.
The whole under the tree Luke/Vader “fight” was to allude to “hey, Vader is this Anakin guy we keep talking about.”
Is that Boba I see?
The light speed fail x2.
“Shut up!”
I don’t like this Luke/Yoda training scene either.
“No! Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.”
Unpopular opinion: Palpatine should’ve killed Yoda.
The soft flute force theme.
Bruh, I forgot Han landed the Falcon on Vader’s ship.
Leia turning 3P0 off.
“He’s a card player, gambler, scoundrel. You’d like him.
“Thanks.”
You can see Anthony Daniels or his stand in breathing in the 3P0 outfit.
Boba following them.
Again, I hate each and every single Yoda/Luke training scene.
“Han. Leia!”
Yoda constantly belittling Luke’s compassion for his friends that he sees as his family. This is why I don’t like Yoda.
The landing on cloud city.
I forgot how much Cloud city looks like Corucant.
Lando Calrissian
Han pointing to himself, *me?*
Lando Calrissian.
“What have you done to my ship?”
“Your ship? Hey, remember, you lost her to me fair and square.”
They are literal children and I love it.
Lando immediately flirting.
Also, what the fuck was George Lucas thinking on letting 5ft something men get chest to chest with Carrie and try to intimidate her with their height whilst trying to flirt with her?
Wtf was he thinking! Carrie Fisher is 4ft something and I feel bad for her.
“She’s the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.”
Chewie going to look for C3P0.
The soft force theme.
The force theme turning to the imperial march.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, you let 12-year old Ahsoka Tano on a battlefield with Anakin fucking Skywalker, the man who stared General Grevious in the face and basically told him to fuck off, and you’re not letting Anakin’s literal son go save his sister and future brother in law! So shut the fuck up dead guy and let Luke save his friends.
Yoda can go die for all I care. I forgot how much of an asshole he is.
God, I fucking hate Yoda.
Leia’s Bespin outfit.
Leia worried over 3P0 is the sweetest thing. This shows just how great of a mom she’ll be.
“I don’t trust Lando.”
Have I said that I appreciate how pretty Harrison Ford is?
Yo! Mandalorian!
Also, chewie finding C3P0!
Leia covering her body when she realizes Lando is watching her is something I thought I’d never relate to but whelp, here we are.
Lando Calrissian is very creepy actually in how he treats Leia every chance he can get.
Han’s ready to punch him.
“Would you join me for a refreshment?”
“No!” I never realized how protective Chewie is of Leia until this scene. Chewbacca immediately is ready to rip Lando apart.
“Having a problem with your droid?”
Han immediately realizes how vulnerable Leia can get when C3P0 is involved and when people she’s intimidated by. Han drew away Lando’s attention on 3P0 to him.
Han drank his appreciating women juice.
Is Boba wearing a death watch thingy on his shoulder?
Leia looks so damn scared.
Han grabbing Leia’s hand tighter to protect her.
Chewie trying to work on C3P0.
The imperial march.
Han’s super pale. “I feel terrible.”
Leia’s vulnerable and even though Han’s hurting he jumps in to protect her and how angry Leia gets, that’s when everyone knows that Leia’s feeling and anger is her protection emotion.
Honestly, I’m ready to skip the rest of Lando’s scenes.
Carbonite.
Okay so when Vader tells the Troopers to put Han into the carbon freezer, Chewbacca attacks, if you notice, Vader just lets him. It’s not because, “hey let’s not anger the Wookiee more.” It’s because according to a scene in The Clone Wars animated TV show, Chewbacca saved Anakin’s padawan, Ahsoka. I like to think Vader was finally paying his debt to the Shriwook for saving Ahsoka.
Han calming down Chewie by telling him to look after Leia.
Han and Leia’s second kiss
“I love you.”
“I know.”
Leia looks so damn sad and scared.
Chewie literally pulling Leia into his body to try and lessen the pain she was in.
The fact that Luke doesn’t realize that it’s Han.
Luke slowly realizing that he didn’t see Han with Leia and Chewie.
The only lightsaber fight between Luke and a Vader that I remember.
I’m not gonna comment on Chewie chocking Lando.
That force jump.
The biggest plot twist in cinematic history, according to the Internet, is about to happen.
R2 getting electrocuted
R2 going to fix his husband.
Oop, Luke’s hands about to get cut off.
Mark Hamill’s scream.
“Luke, there is no escape. Don’t make me destroy you. Luke, you do not yet realize your importance. You have only begun to discover your power. Join me, and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy.”
“I’ll never join you!”
“If you only knew the power of the dark side. Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father.”
“He told me enough. He told me you killed him.”
“No. I am your father.”
“No, no, that’s not true. That’s impossible!”
“Search your feelings. You know it to be true.”
The iconic “Noooo.”
“Luke. You can destroy the emperor. He has foreseen this. It is your destiny. Join me, and together we can rule the galaxy as father and son. Come with me. It is the only way.”
Skywalker men are such idiots and always are so dramatic.
The poor film editor, having to make it look like Luke is falling and is just playing with the footage they got of Mark Hamill writhing around.
And here we see just how powerful Leia and Luke are.
“Leia. Hear me. Leia”
“Luke.”
Luke’s just swinging his legs.
Light speed fail x3
“Luke.”
“Father.”
“Come with me.”
“Ben. Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Luke, it’s your destiny.”
Mark Hamill is such a talented actor
Welp, Anakin’s gonna kill everyone.
“May the Force be with you.”
Luke’s fake hand.
The chills I get during the ending music.
And that was The Empire Strikes Back. All in all a good classic.

Fame - Angus Cloud (3)
Summary- a luckily timed audition leads to you falling for your new and unexpected co-star.
Warnings- okay HI welcome to my first multi chapter series woah?! this is actually so exciting for me like wow especially since angus doesn’t have any fics yet im just really really excited- so warnings! smut for sure, bad words, lotsa fluff, angst- everything in one basically. here comes a ride and I hope you enjoy :)
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3 {reading now}
-
Well, needless to say you got the role.
The final run through with Drake was successful, he started spewing off about how talented you were. You did your usual which was smile and nod, and Angus told you to "Stop being so shy mamas. You gotta get used to this."
Time flew as you turned in forms, focused on moving closer to set, and grew your social media audience. It was all exciting but also overwhelming, however you already loved it.
You and Angus seemed to be getting more comfortable with each other, the tension was wearing off and a simple friendship was forming. The luxury apartment you were moving into for when filming ceased was conveniently just a few doors down from his apartment, you two were going to be in the same complex. You talked quite often and filming hadn't even started yet, and you almost felt silly for feeling intimidated, if that was even the word, by him before. He'd offered to come over to help you move in- and even though the tension had faded, your {sometimes} inappropriate thoughts of him hadn't.
But today was the day everything kicked into gear, because today was the first day of filming.
You and Angus decided to meet up at a small, locally owned coffee shop before heading to set. You could both go together, and since he offered to drive, you could save some gas.
You got there early, you two were to meet at 7:30 am, you were there at 7:25 due to leaving time to dodge the traffic. Angus came through the door yawning at 8:17- due to oversleeping.
"Do you always do this?" you laughed sliding a donut over to him as he sat down across from you in the booth.
"Do what?" he asked, eating half of the donut in one big bite.
"Are you always late- like on set? Because most of my scenes are with you and I-"
"You think ahead a lot, I just like sleeping, you should like it too you feel what I mean? Sleep is just that bitch...if there was a girl like sleep then I would have a girl."
Half of the time the things Angus came up with made zero sense to you, but you always just agreed and moved along. For example, yesterday night he called you at 12:32 am just to let you know that the Frosted Flakes box had 'of corn' in small writing under the bold logo. You said you'd never noticed that- which was the truth, and then that led to him telling you the complete history of Mandela effects. You didn't get back to bed until 1:54.
"And to be fair Y/N, you kept me up last night with that Mandela effect shit." he said with a smirk as he finished off the donut.
Your mouth fell open as you rolled your eyes "Boy as if! You wish I-"
"So you quoting 90s movies now? That's new, don't really know how I feel ab-"
"Lets go," you shook your head standing up and tossing your coffee cup into the garbage.
You two walked out and into the warm LA air. "You read the scripts at all?" He asked you as you headed to his car.
"I did! We have a lot of scenes...some are quite different."
"What you mean? Not boutta lie I didn't read anything past the first episode cuz them other shits too far away."
"Well, sex is always a given in Euphoria."
"Yeah them nude scenes finna make me feel a bit violated if you know what I mean."
"You'll be fine, all you show is your ass but I have to-"
"Oh shit I gotta show my cheeks? For real? On television- aw nah I gotta talk to somebody about tha-"
"I have to show everything except my baby maker so...who really has it worse?"
"Yo' baby maker? Is that them gorgeous eyes cuz it sure does make me want to make a baby wit' you."
Was that a joke-
He did this alot. You never knew if he was actually flirting or if it was just him joking around, but you always assumed it was the latter.
"Was that a...was that a joke from you Angus? How rare!"
He flipped you off with a goofy grin at the next red light and you laughed. "No all jokes aside though Gus, I gotta show my whole body, titties and all. Like my parents are going to watch this how do I? Explain?"
“Well we can fuck wit’ all that when we get to it.”
“Oh baby...” You said sarcastically. “You didn't actually read the first episodes script did you?”
“What you mean?”
You pulled the script from out of your tote, clearing your throat before you started to read. “Jess looks at Fez with a gleam of interest in her eyes. ‘Its been awhile tiger’ she says in a certain way, a way that makes Fez adjust his- yeah I’m not reading that- ‘It has’ Fez says biting his lip. He wants her, but he doesn't know if she wants him too...he thinks she doe-”
“We gotta have sex the first episode? Nah you lying.”
“Episode 1, 3, 5, 7 and 8.”
“Holy shit what?! Aint nobody have that much sex last season...”
“Yeah but its because of our storyline. Jess and Fez constantly want each other and they think the only way to let it out is through sex- they are both terrible with commitment and Jess is afraid of Fez’s dealing; even if she wants to be with him that's keeping her away.”
“Damn, my manz Fez gettin’ the short end of the stick.”
“Jess is the only one getting a short stick Angus.”
It took him a minute to understand what you said, but as soon as he comprehended it his eyes widened. “Girl no you didnt- you know I’m packing- how you gon’ do me like that?!” he said defensively as he parked. You couldn't help but to laugh as you hurried out of the car. “Imma get you back for that!” He yelled after you. You shook your head and walked to the main trailer where everyone was to gp.
Walking in you saw only Z and Storm, Queen Bey played softly in the background showing the girls in front of you were in their element. “Hey girl!” Z said giving you a quick side hug. “Dont worry about being late, its all good. You came with Angus didn't you?”
You nodded whilst rolling your eyes and took the key she was holding out, walking back out and to your trailer.
The trailer was cozy, comfortable and not too small. It had quite a modern look to it, and the look on the outside didn't match the inside at all. You smiled as you sat on the sofa, seeing a white envelope on the glass table. On it was scribbled ‘Angus and Y/N’. Before you could get up to go over to his trailer, he walked in- no invitation, no knock, no anything. “Gee!!!! Good thing I wasn’t naked!” You said sarcastically as you glared at him.
“Yeah whateva. We gotta read this letter together I guess.” He said plopping down beside you.
“Yeah yeah okay, I can read it out loud.” You said cracking open the envelope and pulling out the bright white printer paper. “Okay here we go...it's from...Drake?”
“Ah shit.”
“Don’t worry yet, it's probably just- let me just read.”
Angus nodded and got more comfortable on the sofa as you started to read. “Angus and Y/N. On behalf of your upcoming roles I wanted to tell you guys to loosen up. Theres alot of sexy time to film, and I don't want the viewers to feel the sexual tension from Angus and Y/N, I want them to feel it radiating from Jess and Fez. Make kissing casual, make being naked around each other casual too. Don't make that shit weird. And Angus, make sure you can get it up. If it takes...oh-” you stopped for a moment.
“What?” Angus looked at you and you cocked your head to one side still inspecting the letter.
“Okay- here, he said: If it takes walking around each other unclothed then do it, take care of that tension between you two. I could feel it in the final run through, meaning that the viewers would be able to sense it as well. I'm only saying all this cuz its your first time filming together. I need art, not high school production shit. You guys have the passion, and you click. But there's something missing. Make the fuck out and get this show on the road. I'm always a call away if its not working out-- Drake.”
“Well damn. What he tryna say?”
“Angus it's clear what he's saying- I mean come on I feel the tension between us too, and I don't know what it is but hes right, whatever it is we need to get over it, and move on from that. This is business- an art form we have to work through. Ight?”
“Ight. So what I’m hearing is we gotta make out and get naked.”
“We aren't doing anything until ya girl takes a nap.”
“How you sleepy we just got here and you woke up 3 hours ago?”
“Listen man it is not my fault I only got 4 and a half hours of sleep-”
“SO you tryna say it’s mine?!” “It is! With your mandela effecr loving ass.”
He chuckled under his breath. “Okay okay, fair. But lemme sleep wit’ you.” “What? Why?”
“You the one that read the letter, we gotta drop this tension lil mama. And if we legit just sleeping, ion see nun wrong wit’ it, do you?”
You thought it over, and he had a point. There was nothing wrong with it, sleeping is sleeping...and besides, you two would have to do much worse.
“Whatever, come on.”
“Let’s go to my trailer though.”
“What? Why? Ion wanna walk come on Angu-”
“I can carry you then. But my place more homey, you just got here and your bed ain’t even got sheets.”
Damn, why is he always right? “Okay fine but carry me.”
He hunched down in front of the sofa “Get on my back and we can go.”
You grabbed your phone getting onto his back and holding on tight, your arms around his neck and your thighs squishing his sides. “Go go go!” You giggled, feeling safe as you rested your chin on the top of his head.
He ran to the trailer, causing you to laugh and hold on even tighter. Dropping you onto the bed, he looked around the small trailer-bedroom for more covers.
“You know girl,” he said looking into the closet “You kinda cute. How you was laughing out there had my heart beating fast and shit.” He found a throw and turned back around to ask you if it was good, but you were already out, completely sound asleep, and cuddled into a pillow. “Damn so you ain't hear none o’ that huh?” He sighed. “Probably better on my end. Can’t be catching feelings and shit.” He covered you over and lay beside you.
In your sleep your body detected the body heat, so you unknowingly turned over, cuddling into his chest. A smile formed on your lips as you moved closer, practically wrapping yourself around him.
The man sighed placing his lips to your forehead and leaving a light kiss. “Yeah. No catching feelings.”

Didn’t Ask For This Pt 12 (Roomate!JK x OC)
A/N: Sorry for the longer period between updates! I had to rewrite a good portion of the next few chapters since I felt it was taking a stupid turn. I’ve fixed it to make it better, so don’t worry! It’ll be worth your time, I promise. Enjoy~
Summary: “I didn’t know you hated me so much,” he spoke as he grabbed my wrist and once again turned me around to face him, “and quite honestly, I don’t think I’ve done anything horrible enough for you to hate me to the degree that you do.” “You say that like the hate isn’t mutual,” I remarked as he shook his head. There was a bitter smile on his face as he took a deep breath, “I think you are quite honestly one of the worst human beings I’ve had to come in contact with.”

I felt like I was dying when I opened my eyes, rolling around in bed. I was completely and utterly miserable, and I could feel the heat radiating off of my body. I laid in bed, the chills rushing through my body every time I so much as felt any air against my skin that was supposed to be protected by my comforter.
I laid in bed, feeling miserable for about an hour before I finally willed myself to get up. I slipped a sweatshirt and sweatpants on to keep me from freezing as I pushed my bedroom door open.
I hurried into the bathroom to get ready before either of the guys saw me. I was in and out as fast as possible, and to my dismay, Taehyung was waiting outside the door to talk to me.
“Jesus, Tae,” I spoke, his appearance scaring me breathless. Then again, even the simple act of brushing my teeth made me breathless.
“Hey,” he spoke, his eyebrows furrowed in worry, “Why on earth are you wearing sweats? It’s like 74 degrees in this apartment.”
I felt my hands start shaking, and I wasn’t sure if it was from the fact that Taehyung scared me or not, “I don’t know. My room is fairly cold I guess.”
Taehyung wasn’t convinced as his eyes started to narrow. He pushed his body off of the wall and pressed his hand to my forehead. I silently cursed as Taehyung’s eyes widened, his hand pulling away after realizing just how hot my forehead was.
“God, I don’t know whether to be mad at you or worried about you,” Taehyung mumbled as he rushed to the kitchen to grab the materials that he needed, “I need you to get out of those sweats and into your tank top and shorts. Now.”
I obeyed him as I noticed Taehyung’s scolding has caught Jungkook’s attention. He walked out of his room and looked in between the two of us with confusion.
“What’s going on?” he asked, concern evident as I noticed Taehyung grow tense. I caught sight of his gaze as my eyes widened. I hurried to close my door so that I could change, leaving Jungkook to fend for himself. I felt myself sigh with relief, more than relieved that I remembered to cover the hickeys this morning.
“Okay, I don’t feel like I should question a sick girl, but I won’t feel guilty for scolding you,” I heard Taehyung say as I rushed to change. I stumbled all around, losing my balance several times, landing on the bed behind me to cushion my falls.
I felt my body become uncomfortably cold as I grabbed one of my blankets off my bed.
“Why the hell does my sister have a fever the day after you had one?” Taehyung snapped as I felt paranoia grow within me.
“It’s probably that she got too close to me when taking care of me, man. I don’t know,” Jungkook played if off well as I wrapped the blanket tighter around me. Should I go out there? I probably should, otherwise he might sense something was up…
I opened the door and spotted Taehyung’s glare very quickly. His gaze softened as he looked over at me, seeing me and my pathetic stature.
“Taehyung, don’t yell at Jungkook,” I spoke with a weak voice that I noticed didn’t just make Taehyung melt, but Jungkook as well. The two of them gave me the same look of worry as Jungkook started to guide me into the living room.
“You need to lay down. Taehyung’s getting you some medicine,” Jungkook spoke softly. I couldn’t help but sense Taehyung’s confusion at Jungkook’s actions, but he didn’t voice anything. I just nodded pitifully as I slowly lowered myself to the couch, wincing at my body’s aching.
Jungkook knelt down next to me as Taehyung entered the living room with the medicine I needed to take. He walked up to the two of us and handed me the cup that he had poured the medicine into.
“What flavor is this?” I asked as Taehyung shrugged and shook his head.
“Does it matter? You’re the one that bought it in the first place. Shouldn’t you know?” he asked as I frowned, glancing down at the cup.
“I can’t remember…”
Taehyung swallowed and looked at Jungkook who was still down beside be with concern burned into his features. He was not doing a good job hiding his sudden affection for me.
“Alright, Kook. I’ll take care of her from here,” Taehyung spoke as Jungkook looked up at him. I could sense hesitation in him, but something seemed to click as he was about to get up.
“Doesn’t it make more sense for me to take care of her?” Jungkook asked as Taehyung’s expression morphed into complete shock, “I mean, I was the one that got her sick. And I wouldn’t want for her to get you sick.”
“Yeah, Jungkook has a point,” I nodded, feeling butterflies in my stomach at the prospect of Jungkook taking care of me for the rest of the day. Or, at least until he has to go in to work. Speaking of work, I need to call out sick for my shift.
Taehyung looked really reluctant to nod and give in to the two of us. I didn’t blame him for his paranoia, but I was relieved that he didn’t fight us too hard.
“So you actually want to take care of her?” Taehyung asked Jungkook as he took a couple steps backwards. Jungkook looked back down at me, the smallest smile showing in his features. He looked back up at Taehyung, smile turning into a serious gaze.
“It’s the least I could do. I caused this, after all,” his voice made it sound like he was only doing this out of obligation, but the look in his eyes told me another story.
“Alright. I give in,” Taehyung lifted his hands into the air before he turned on his heels, walking away from us down the hallway. “Don’t kill each other.”
That was the furthest of my concern at the moment.
“Jungkook,” I called from the living room as I heard Jungkook shuffling in the kitchen. He’d been gone for a good forty minutes just in the shower, and I was getting really shaky. I thought about bothering Taehyung, but I couldn’t get over how much I loved seeing Jungkook go soft for me.
“Hm?” He responded as he peaked his head into the living room to lock his eyes on mine.
My first instinct was to say something sappy to him, but I closed my mouth before I did. It wasn’t that I cared about Taehyung hearing me, but I just didn’t want to seem as pitiful as I felt.
“You were gone for nearly an hour,” I simply observed as he raised an eyebrow. His expression softened the longer he looked at me, but when I heard footsteps coming down the hall, his expression shifted.
“I’m not your butler,” Jungkook sassed as he spun around and walked back into the kitchen, “Only call me if you need me. If you get lonely, I’m sure Taehyung would love to give you company.”
I pursed my lips at his comments, but I didn’t take them personally. As Taehyung walked into the kitchen, I just pouted his way.
“How are you feeling?” He asked as I shifted my position from laying down to sitting up.
“Like I’m sitting in the middle of a snowstorm taking place on the sun’s surface,” I responded as he let out a soft chuckle.
“Do you want to watch a few episodes of our show?” Taehyung asks as he plopped down on the loveseat.
I smiled at him before my eyes glanced over at Jungkook’s figure. He walked back in from the kitchen with a sandwich in hand as I suddenly had a slightly devious idea pop into my head.
“You didn’t make me a sandwich?” I let out the softest, most pathetic pout I could manage as Taehyung glanced back at Jungkook. He froze mid-chew as he looked at me, studying me carefully.
“You didn’t mention that you wanted one.” he defended with a neutral tone. He finished chewing and swallowed the bite he had taken as I leaned my head back.
“You didn’t offer to make me one,” I countered as Taehyung looked away from the TV and drew his attention to the two of us.
“As I mentioned before, I’m not your butler,” he rolled his eyes as I huffed.
“I can make you one,” Taehyung interfered as I glanced his way. I was about to just nod, because quite honestly, I don’t care who makes me a sandwich as long as I have food in my stomach.
“No, I’ll get it.”
Both Taehyung and I looked Jungkook’s way in surprise as he dipped out of the room, entering the kitchen with his sandwich abandoned on the dining table.
Taehyung and I had just gotten through with a few episodes of our favorite show when his phone started blowing up in his pocket. His eyebrows raised when he looked at the name on the screen.
“Hello? Hana?”
I felt my interest peak as I sat up, pulling my blanket around me to ensure that I would stay warm.
“Right now? I mean I… I might have time. My sister’s sick and I hate to leave her here. I already have to leave for work later tonight.”
I frowned and snapped at Taehyung, grabbing his attention, “Tae, I’ll be okay without you. If Hana wants you to do something with her, please go.”
His eyebrows knit in worry as I just continued to nod in reassurance.
“I’ll force Jungkook to take care of me until he leaves. I don’t want to ruin a potential date for you two.”
Taehyung sighed and stared at me blankly for several seconds before looking up at the clock above our TV.
“...Alright. I can go,” he spoke into his phone as I smiled. I felt my smile grow as Taehyung’s face softened while listening to Hana. The softest little smile appeared as he stayed silent while she rambled on.
“Okay. I’ll meet you there in twenty minutes.”
The call soon ended as Taehyung looked over at me with an almost sorry gaze.
“I hate to leave…”
“No,” I cut him off before he could say much else, “I told you it was okay. Don’t you try and apologize to me.”
Taehyung just let out a soft laugh as he stood up and walked over to me. My face twisted in annoyance as he ruffled the hair on my head. I let out a few whines as he did so, reaching up to fix the mess that he had just made.
“Thanks, Ari. You’re the best.”
...
The day was flying by up until it was time for Jungkook to leave for work. My fever was almost completely gone, and I could actually move around without feeling every bone in my body aching.
“Call me if you start to feel bad again,” Jungkook spoke as I just nodded obediently.
“I’ll be fine, Jungkook,” I reassured as he knelt down beside me with a slightly worried look. I was about to open my mouth to reassure him once again, but he spoke before I did.
“If you hear from Hoseok, try to let him down easy,” Jungkook swallowed as I felt my face morph into surprise. Hoseok hadn’t come up all day, yet he still ended up on Jungkook’s mind?
“I’m going to need more time than that, Jungkook,” I spoke calmly, thinking back to the sweet man that had taken me on a fantastic date yesterday, “I would feel so horrible if I let him down right after how much fun we both had yesterday.”
Jungkook couldn’t believe what was coming out of my mouth. His reaction was all that I needed to see to know that we were about to argue again. Well, the peace was fun while it lasted.
“You wanna know what you actually did after going on such a “great” date with him? You slept with me. We’re, you know, dating each other now. You’re my girlfriend, and that means you can’t go on anymore dates with Hoseok,” Jungkook rambled in anger. I tried to keep calm as I felt myself shaking yet again. To say that I was stressed was an understatement.
“I’m not saying that I’m going to go on another date with him! If he asks to go on another date with me, I’ll just use that “date” as a way to let him down easy. After all, I already feel like a scumbag for reassuring him that there’s nothing going on between me and you, only to turn around and reject him because we’re together.”
“I don’t see why his feelings should matter,” Jungkook glared, his voice slightly raising, “You’re never going to talk to him after you tell him that you’re dating me.”
“How do you know that?” I sat up, fumbling slightly because of how weak some of my muscles felt, “What if I want to stay friends after this? He seems like a really cool guy-”
“Hell no,” Jungkook laughed and shook his head, “You can’t stay friends with a guy who’s obviously into you!”
I narrowed my eyes at his words, feeling my emotions trying to get the best of me. I tried to keep my voice calm, but he was making it incredibly hard… “Jungkook… you knew this whole time that he actually was interested in me? You said so many things about how he’d never be into me, yet you knew that he already was!”
“Why does that come as a surprise to you?” he snapped, his glare slightly faltering when he realized how hurt I really seemed, “I didn’t want you to try and pursue a relationship because I know Hoseok really liked you. I also knew that Yoongi didn’t have an interest in you this whole time.”
I felt my blood boiling both from the fever and from just how infuriated I was. He was trying to sabotage my love life…
Tears that I didn’t even realize were building up began to fall as I started to wave Jungkook away from me. I didn’t want to see him anymore. I needed time to calm down over all of this.
And I sure as hell am going on another date with Hoseok after learning all of this information.
“Go away, Jungkook,” I spoke, his harsh exterior crumbling as my voice shook. He started to move closer to me, but I used all the strength in me to push him away, “Don’t touch me. I need you to leave me alone.”
Jungkook swallowed and watched me with worried eyes. I wrapped my arms around my legs in a fetal position as I used my knees to wipe my tears away. I heard Jungkook reluctantly shuffle away from me, and I felt a stab to my heart when the apartment door closed without him saying another word.
I hated how much this situation was getting to me. It shouldn’t matter than Jungkook was sabotaging my potential relationship with Hoseok because we both ended up confessing to each other… but if he’s willing to do something like that, it makes me worry about what else he might try to manipulate...
::
My night was agonizing to say the least. There wasn’t a moment that went by where I wasn’t thinking about Jungkook and our argument. I was so upset with him, but I hated how horrible I felt over it all. I just wanted to pull out my phone and call Jungkook to try and work it all out.
My fever was fighting me back as I could feel my body growing really weak once again. I cursed as I tried to move around the apartment to take some more medicine, struggling with the child proof lid. I hate these stupid lids!
I mumbled a few swears before I finally got the bottle open to take the stupid medication. I swallowed the substance as fast as I could manage, struggling to put the bottle back away.
I finally finished struggling when I realized my phone was buzzing from the living room. I shuffled into the living room to look at my phone, surprised to see that Hoseok’s name was on my screen.
I reluctantly answered the call, putting my phone on speaker as I slowly settled back in to the couch.
“Hello?” I asked as I heard various noises from his end.
“Ari! Sorry if this seems weird, but Taehyung told me that you were sick and home alone. I just wanted to check and make sure that you’re okay.” he sounded nervous as I felt my guilt eating me alive. How could I turn down this guy? This was going to suck…
“I’m completely fine!” I tried to sound genuine and I was pretty convincing. I could hear him sigh on his end as I swallowed, trying to push away all the thoughts of Jungkook and I’s conversation out of my head. “Hey, Hoseok. I was wondering if you would like to come over soon. I just really need to talk to you about something.”
“Oh,” Hoseok sounded surprised, but it wasn’t a bad surprised, “Of course. When were you thinking? ‘Cause I could even stop by tonight, tomorrow, or later this week if you were thinking further down.”
I felt my heart squeeze as I grabbed my phone and started pulling up a picture of my schedule, “Well it really needs to be a time when neither Taehyung or Jungkook are home…”
I felt the words coming out of my mouth like word vomit as I felt my body freeze. I could only hope that Hoseok didn’t think anything of my words, but I could only assume that he’d hit his limit with my slip ups.
“I don’t mean to pry…” It sounded like Hoseok had moved into a different room because all the noise that I heard before was now missing, “But Jungkook seems to be over there a whole lot… Taehyung almost makes it sound like he lives there.”
I just tried to laugh it off, which quickly turned into nervous laughter, “He’s just over here all the time. He and Taehyung are college roommates, you know.”
“I know… It just seems like he literally lives there. I just think it’s kinda strange that you and Taehyung would lie to me about something like that.” Hoseok sounded calm, but I felt frantic. Do I continue to lie or do I give in?
I didn’t think too hard before I swallowed and continued denying everything. I am horrible, really.
“No, he doesn’t live here. He does stay the night sometimes, though,” I felt my guilt weighing down on me as Hoseok just laughed off the words.
“Alright. You don’t have any reason to lie about something like this, so I’ll let it go. Back to when you want me to come over to talk, though.”
Shoot, I almost forgot that I said that, I shook my head as I tried to get back on track.
“Do you get off before Taehyung tonight?” I asked as Hoseok sighed.
“Afraid not. What about tomorrow?”
I looked at Jungkook’s schedule for tomorrow. Off.
“That won’t work,” I shook my head as if he could see me. I looked at Jungkook’s schedule for Wednesday, “Does Taehyung work the morning shift on Wednesday?”
“Yeah,” Hoseok responded, “But so do I. Would this work out better if we met somewhere in public?”
I looked up in thought for a couple seconds before an idea popped into my head, “You could come talk to me at work tomorrow! ...That is, if I’m better tomorrow. I work the night shift.”
Hoseok seemed pleased with that proposal, “I work a mid, so I guess I could drop by on my way home. Sound good to you?”
“Sounds awesome,” I smiled as I sat up, “I’ll be in contact with you about tomorrow. If I don’t go in tomorrow, maybe I can convince Jungkook to cover for me to ensure that he won’t be here.”
The air was silent for several seconds before my mind clicked. Good God am I horrible at this! I just keep thinking out loud.
“He comes over even when Taehyung’s not there?” I could sense the tension in his voice in that statement as I felt panic fill my shaky being. “Ari, seriously.”
“Okay,” I sighed and closed my eyes, “Okay, I’m sorry. Jungkook lives here. Taehyung didn’t want me to tell you, but that was the only reason I was lying about it. I’m sorry.”
Even in my honesty I was still lying.
“I’m not mad,” Hoseok spoke, but his voice was not nearly as bright as before. He sounded a whole lot more tense than I’d ever heard him. “I’m glad you told me. I wonder why Taehyung didn’t want me to know?” “No idea,” I answered fairly quickly as I ran a finger through my hair, grabbing at the roots in frustration. This phone call was a disaster.
“I guess I should let you go,” I could tell that he could hear my stressed out tone, but he didn’t voice his observation, “I’m going to try and sleep this fever away.”
“Alright,” Hoseok’s voice was back to being soft as he let out a soft laugh, “I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?”
“Yeah,” I let a small smile appear on my face as I took a deep breath, “Bye, Hoseok.”
“Bye, Ari.”
I woke up to the sound of the front door opening as I slowly opened my eyes and spotted a blurry figure walking into the apartment. I assumed it was Taehyung since he was supposed to come home before Jungkook.
I closed my eyes again to try and fall back asleep, but I jumped when I felt a pair of lips against my forehead. I was about to smack Taehyung away from me for it, but I jumped awake when I felt a familiar hand holding mine.
“Hey, babe,” Jungkook’s figure was blurry to my eyes as I looked at him with confusion. He titled his head to the side as I felt my hand grab on to his. I missed him… “I got to come home early. I asked them to send me home if it was slow so that I could be with you. I know I left with us both in bad moods, but I can’t stay mad at you…”
I didn’t say anything as I let my eyes close again. I was just content with his presence next to me as I rested. I felt his hand nearly pull out of mine, but as I opened my eyes to watch what he was doing, I realized he was just moving to sit down in front of the couch.
“What turned you into such a mushy boyfriend?” I asked with tired eyes as Jungkook just smiled and let out a small laugh.
“I might be an ass, but I take my relationships seriously.”
I felt a shiver run through my body at his words. The more that we talk about how we’re in a relationship, the harder it is to believe. I actually fell in love with Jeon Jungkook, and he’s not all that bad…
“I’m sorry for all that I said to you about Jennie,” I spoke, the words seemingly coming out of left field. The thought had been lingering in the back of my mind since our fight, and I wasn’t intending to voice it. The words just slipped out as I felt myself slip in and out of consciousness, “It’s her loss and my gain for breaking up with you.”
Jungkook softly chuckled and laid his face dangerously close to mine. I felt his breath on my lips, but he didn’t press a kiss to my lips. I would have been mad if he did since I still wasn’t completely over my fever.
“I’m sorry about everything with Yoongi and Hoseok. At the time I thought that I was doing it because I couldn’t stand you… but after I saw you hugging Yoongi’s arm the other night on our way out to our cars… I realized that I wanted you to be leaning against me.”
I smiled and pulled his hand up to my mouth for me to give a soft kiss, “I like this Jungkook. I really like how honest and open you are with me. Even if you can be a tad harsh with your honesty.”
Jungkook didn’t say anything to that as I swallowed and opened my eyes to look at him. I nearly jumped when I saw how close his face was to mine, but the surprise quickly turned into a smile. He had closed his eyes…
“You can’t sleep here,” I spoke softly, shaking him so that he opened his eyes, “I would love for you to stay right here with me, but Taehyung will most certainly walk in on the two of us. He comes home any minute now, right?”
Jungkook groaned as his face twisted in annoyance, “Why does Taehyung have to be so defensive over you? I don’t like being restricted from touching you. And it’s not like I can tease you like before.”
“Sorry?” I asked quickly after he paused, “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Jungkook stood up and plopped down on the love seat that was catty cornered from me. I was afraid that he was going to just ignore what I had said to him, but he wasn’t going to leave me wondering.
“Before I realized that I liked you, I knew I really liked teasing you. Seeing you confused and flustered under me was so… satisfying.”
“But why can’t you tease me like before?” I asked as Jungkook just laughed through his nose.
“Because I was using it as an excuse to be close to you. I don’t need an excuse now.”
I felt my face burn at his words, but I didn’t push the conversation much further. I was embarrassed enough with what he had already said.
“Jerk,” I commented as he just chuckled, glancing back at me from the couch he was on. I closed my eyes yet again, feeling my exhaustion hitting me. “Oh, Kookie?” I had no idea where the nickname came from, probably my half-conscious brain trying to keep me awake, but neither of us commented it.
“Hm?” “If I’m not feeling good again tomorrow, would you mind taking my shift?”
It was silent for a couple seconds as I felt worry fill my mind. I shouldn’t have assumed that he would be willing to take my hours.
“You don’t want me here taking care of you?” he actually sounded hurt as I opened my eyes, meeting his sad ones almost immediately.
“I don’t mean it like that,” I reached out toward him, but quickly dropped my hand as I realized how heavy my arm felt right now. “If no one else will take it, could you?”
“Of course,” Jungkook nodded and looked away from me, “But only if no one else can.”
I couldn’t help but smile as his words, nodding to myself, “Okay, Kook.”

A/N: Is it bad that my own portrayal of Jungkook has me so soft? x3

At The End of The Day (T)
This gift is for: @arel-rhink From your Secret Santa, @silverloveless
Read below:
Rhett’s right hand gripped around Link’s waist tighter as he tried to figure out where Link put his keys. He pulled Link’s arm higher up around his left shoulder as the other man passed Rhett his keys to get the door open. The hot California night was eased with a small breeze that neither man seemed to notice due to the sheer exhausting radiating off both of them.
They had just finished up a 12 hour shoot right after being home for less than a day from the last leg of their mythicality tour. Trying to get all the segments and guests in before the Christmas holiday to ensure everyone got off to be with their family was wearing both men thin along with their crew.  “Come on Bo. If you don’t help me out here I’ll just leave you to sleep here on the porch,” Rhett growled as he struggled to find the lock in the dark.
“Fine but I call shower first. I don’t care what the crew says a shower at the office is not the same as a shower at home.” To say that Link what not in the best mood would be an understatement as loser of the weekly gross out challenge. He pushed the door open letting both men in before quickly setting the alarm.
“You know that’s no problem with me. I doubt Christy would be ok with you falling asleep like that after her and Jess let us crash here while they wrangle the kids at my place.” Rhett followed Link up the stairs as the man in front of him began to unbutton most of his outer layers. The women knew that both men were going to not be home at an kind of decent hour so they gathered the kids for a movie night to get everyone together.
“Man why does fish heads have to be one of the shows main ingredients. I can still feel them on my hands.”
Rhett giggled as they finally reached master bedroom. Link was already down to his drawers as Rhett scavenged around for the spar shirt and sleep shorts that he keep in one of Link’s drawers. “That’s what you get for being a loser Neil.” Link popped his head out of the doorway and gave Rhett the bird which sent Rhett snickering again as he changed for the night.
Rhett leaned against the doorway as he watched Link shower and scrub his body where most of the fish had fallen on him. He thought Link’s body looked out of sorts due to the alteration the shower door caused but he could still see that strong profile of his friend. He would alway tease Link about his height but he loved how they were both able to fit together so well.  “I know I turn heads more as a silver fox Rhett, but I don’t really think anything hot and heavy in the shower would be a good idea right now. ‘Yes I need an ambulance because me and my beau tried to fuck in the shower running on 2 hours of sleep, and we broke our hip like the old men he forgets we are.’”
As Link got out of the shower, Rhett moved towards him with an outstretched towel. “Now Link that’s unfair to call me an old man. I just hit 40 not like your old bones,” Rhett said as he wiped down  Link’s arms then stomach and legs all while continuing on his speech “And sometimes I forget what are we partners of again can you remind me,” Rhett leaned in close as he wrapped the towel around link’s back.
“Well of course we’re business partners,” he said as Rhett hummed in agreement as he followed Link out. “We’re partners in crime.”
“No one could prove anything,” Rhett quickly said.
Link laughed as he pulled on his own nightshirt and shorts. He decided to keep the teasing up. “We’re partners in wakeboarding. Of course detention partners that got us there to where we are now.” Link turned and drapped his towel over Rhett’s shoulders and tugged him in tight; his lips just ghosting against Rhett’s. He could feel the heat that was coming off Link’s body from the recent shower. The warmth wrapped its way up from his legs through his arms and held tightly to his chest.
Slowly Linked pulled him in, the small height distance something they figured out how to work around long before they understood why to keep it a secret. Their kiss was gentle at first a meeting of lips just to ground themselves in the other person, to feel them under their hands. Rhett’s own hands settled around Links hips while the other set drew up around Rhett’s neck curling behind his neck. Soon the kiss grew more intoxicating. As Rhett’s grip tightened around Link, pulling him in closer, he leaned down further into the kiss. Link grabbed him tighter in his hold as he anchored himself to Rhett pushing and tilting his head higher to possess more of the man in front of him. Link growled into the kiss trying to see if the man before him would yield to him. Before Rhett could push his hands under Link’s shirt, craving at that smooth, hot skin under it, his stomach let out a cry of distress.
“Crap, really Rhett,” Linked laughed out loud at how Rhett was trying to whisper to his stomach to be quiet. “I told you to eat from the craft table before we left the sound stage,” Link smirked at his friend as he made his way down the stairs to the kitchen to find something Rhett could eat.
“I did eat but you know I’m always hunger,” Rhett whined out as he went to the cabinet where he favorites were usually kept. “I mean I was getting hungry for something else, but I guess my wires just got crossed.” Link just raised his eyebrows at him as he spread out the fixings for a peanut butter sandwich. ‘Hey if we make out later and he still tastes like peanut butter breath I won’t complain.’ Rhett just have him a deadfaced look knowing exactly why Link chose those ingredients. A lifetime of peanut butter sandwiches only showed how far he was willing to go for the man in front of him.
“At least say you have some Cashew milk,” Rhett pleaded as he came back from his cabinet with a banana and a few Biscotti cookies. It was Link’s turn to give him the dead face look as he turned back around and got the requested milk from the fridge. “You’re actually lucky Lily likes it or else it would have been out with the trash so many times over already.”
“Hey Neal she may have your genes, but at least she can rest easy at night know she has a more open minded flavor palate than you ever could.” Peanut butter spread over the bread easily, and soon the two men moved to the living room to eat their late meal. “So what’ll it be Netflix, the tube, Hulu,” Rhett asked as he passed Link the remote. “I don’t know pick something.”
Linked pushed the remote back in at Rhett who sighed, “Come on man you always say that then whenever I pick then two minutes in you want to watch something else then it takes us five more minutes to figure out what we’re going to watch. How about….we catch up on Hart’s new Tv show.” Rhett’s shoulders dropped trying to find a resolve.
“No way Rhett. You watch that then you get actually ravenously hungry and instead of relaxing we go out for a 4 am burger because your stomach demanded whatever food she showed in the episode. I will not have a repeat of the jalapeno burger scavenger hunt all over again.” Link took the remote out of Rhett’s hands and put on ‘How it’s Made’. “There something we both find kind of entertaining that won’t keep us up longer than we need to be.”
Link relaxed into the couch finishing up his sandwich as the show played on in front of both men. He didn’t mean to snap at Rhett a few seconds ago but he was dog tired already. As soon as Rhett was done eating linked moved to the farther side of the couch, but before Rhett could ask what was going on he realized Link had moved into the mama bear position like they had learned a few months back. “Oh really mama bear,” Rhett just laughed.
“Shut up or baby bear might get a kick to the kidney,” Linked warned even though a wide smile was on his face. Rhett made the motion of zipping his lip before he settled his back into Link’s chest getting comfortable where he lay.  Both men lay there on the couch as the show continued to play. Link’s left knee bent where Rhett’s hand rested while the other let splayed wide over the floor to allow for Rhett’s body to fit in closely to Link. Link began to run his fingers through Rhett’s hair. The brunette was really happy when Rhett decided to forgo most of his hair products for a more natural look. It was so much easier and softer to play with that many times he would get lost in the sensation of softness in his hands. When he brought it up to Rhett when they were young adults Rhett confessed that sometimes he also got lost in the rhythmic motion and the relaxing sensation against his scalp.
Link loved the feel of Rhett’s weight resting on him. It helped him feel grounded in the moment. “Give me your hand,” Link asked and when Rhett complied he began to massage the large strong hand in front of him. The one who protected him as a child, gave him high fives as teens, where a simple placement on his shoulder meant goodluck on your final, and where those hands explored all of his body. Guiding, holding, bruising along his body bringing him to new heights of pleasure. Sometimes Link knew he got in his head to much like now where he began to doubt what he could offer to Rhett.
With a sixth sense to him though Rhett turned, and knew exactly what was going on in Link’s mind. You don’t have over 33 years of friendship without being able to know and study body language as deeply as Rhett has with Link.
“Come on Link I know that look on your face,” Rhett grasped link’s face in both his hands feeling the warmth of Link’s body under his hands.
“You don’t need to withdraw and don’t you dare doubt yourself when it comes to the two of us. We’ve talked about this, and I will always say the same thing no matter how many times you may need to hear it. You are one of the best things I have in my life you, the girls, and all of our kids. You gave that all to me. You’ve given me so much over the years that I have no ideas how I can ever even repay you for so much so don’t you ever doubt that I don’t love you or don’t need you. You have made my life better than anything I could ever imagine.” Rhett moved to lean in then, and kissed Link’s lips with such a gentleness to them. It still held such a possessiveness that left little doubt that what Link was feeling before was anything other than false. Link’s own hands rose up to mirror Rhett’s and as they parted Link nuzzled himself into Rhett’s cheek.
“Rhett…I think you got peanut butter stuck into your beard.,” Link whispered before he broke out into giggles that Rhett joined him in. Rhett’s hands moved to Link’s abdomen, and then a loud blast of laughter filled the living room. They both breathed a sigh of relief when rhett finally let up, and a look of happiness glittered in both of their eyes. Link leaned in with a paper towel to clean the area that Rhett had missed before he tossed it onto the empty plates.
“I love you man,” Link said lacing is hand with Rhett’s.
“I love you to Bo,” Rhett grabbed the clasped hand tighter. “Come on now.” Rhett got up and pulled Link to him.
“Let’s get to bed, and rest while the house is empty.” Link whined at having to get up, but went ahead to followed Rhett up the stairs. Link pulled back the covers, and got on his back while Rhett turned out the lights before he crawled into bed.
“Come here Rhett,” Link whispered into the quiet night as he pulled Rhett’s head to rest over his chest. His beard hair mildly tickled before Link’s own hand began to slowly comb through it before he settled his hand around Rhett’s shoulders.
They both settled; their breath slowing down as their bodies began to relax. At the end of the day there was no other place that they wanted to be than in each others arms.

"The Surprise"
Hi yall, this is my furst ever one shot, and im kind of nervous. Special thanks to @theshygirlao3 for her help and courage to post. Hope you like it. Not sure how to add tags so im learning. You come home from your 4th day straight of 12 hour shifts from the hospital and all you want to do is grab a bowl of chocolate ice cream and binge watch Supernatural. You’re currently on Season 6 Episode 18 for the millionth time, but hey, who’s counting? You love the show and it’s basically the only one you prefer to watch anyways. The show itself has helped you through so many ups and downs. Plus, you are very attracted to Jensen Ackles, but then again who wouldn’t be? Although you love both Sam and Dean equally, your past life is so much like Dean’s. You’ve been there. You kind of know what it feels like to be the one who holds everything in, so your love for him is undeniable. His pain is so similar to yours, so much so that your heart just feels for him, which in return makes you want to wrap your arms around him to hold him, to soothe his pain away, and tell him everything will be ok. But just as it happens, you know you won’t ever get the chance to do that. Or will you? After a hot shower, changing into your favorite PJ bottoms and top, grabbing your bowl of ice cream, then snuggling comfortably into the couch to finish the rest of the season, the doorbell rang. “Damn it.” you said as you put the bowl of ice cream on the table with a thud and a huff, “Thank god for Netflix.” You got up from the couch, slightly aggravated. “Whoever this is, better have a damn good reason to interrupt me.” You marched to the door. Your heart stops when you see the love of your life at your door with an army green duffle bag falling slowly off his shoulders as his left hand reached up to rub the back of his neck, showing his tiredness from driving, “Hey, baby girl,” he says sleepily. Your face lit up so much that it took you completely by surprise, “JENSEN!” you yelled happily, almost knocking him backwards when you jumped into his arms to hold him. “Oh my god! I thought I wouldn’t see you for another three weeks!” Grabbing his arm, you pull him inside the house, shutting the door behind you. He smiled the best he could, but you could tell he was wiped out, “We actually finished wrapping up early. We had the wrap party and everything else within the last few days. I drove from Vancouver to Texas to be with you.” He walked over to your bar area by the kitchen to lean against it. “Oh, baby, I’m so glad you’re here, but you do know that a plane would have been less tiring, right?” you wanted to giggle, but knew he was tired and didn’t want him to take it the wrong way. A small smile curled upwards on the right side of his mouth, flushing out a dimple. “I know, but how would I have gotten your surprise here?” You looked at him confusingly, “What surprise, Jensen? You know you don’t have to bring me anything. As long as you come home to me that’s all the surprise I want.” You drape your right arm around his neck and stand on your tiptoes to kiss him. He breaks a bit to look at you. “I know that, that’s why I love you so much, {Y/N}. You make me happy and all my cares go away the minute I see that beautiful face.” He winked at you as he put two fingers under your chin to stop you from shying away. You could feel the crimson flood your cheeks and you knew you were red as a tomato by now. ‘How does he manage to do this to me all the time?’ you say to yourself as you look at him. “I love you, Jensen.” Your eyes dance with each other as you both stare deeply. “I love you, too, {Y/N}.” He put his arms around your waist and pulled you tighter to him. You look up at him. “Wait! What’s my surprise?” He looks at you and asks, “You really want to know?” “Of course! If it took you two days to drive from Vancouver to Texas to get to me, then yes, I want to know.” You started to go through his pockets to see if you could find it. He giggles at the slight touches. “It’s not in there. Well, part of it is.” He held his hands tight around it so you couldn’t see it just yet. “Aww! Come on, babe! Let me see.” You gave him the sad puppy dog eyes that Jared taught you how to do. He shook his head. “Don’t give me that. Damn it Jared… Remind me to punch him when I see him.” Unable to resist your pout, he rolled his eyes and put an arm around you. You laugh and look at him lovingly. “He taught me well.” He hadn’t noticed it yet, but you had paused the TV on Dean looking at Sam, perfect timing with his mouth opened. He saw it now. “Seriously? You had to pause that?” “Well, I was binge watching because that’s the only time I get to see Dean Winchester and this one is my favorite episode.” He took you in a headlock and rubbed the top of your head gently, “You can have Dean Winchester anytime you want him.” He let you go and gave you a wink. “Now, do you want your surprise or what?” You jump up and down with excitement. “I do! I do! Where is it?” He takes you in his arms and once you reach the door he puts his hands on your eyes so you couldn’t see, “Sorry, not yet. Step down. Okay, one more step. There you go. On solid ground now.” He directed your walking since you couldn’t see. “Jensen, come on, baby! What is it?” All you could see was his hand covering your eyes and darkness. “Okay. On the count of 3, I’ll remove my hands. Ready?” We was standing behind you, his chest so close to your back you could feel the heat from him. “I’m ready.“ Your heart sped up as you waited impatiently, wondering what on earth it could be. “Okay. 1…2…threeeeee.” He drug out the 3 a bit to raise your excitement. He took his hands off your eyes and you blinked a couple of times to get adjusted to the evening sun that was facing you in the distance. Your mouth dropped completely when you saw it. “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?” You turned to look at him. “Nope! It’s all yours, baby.” He was smiling so big he couldn’t contain it. “Oh my god, Jensen!” You jump into his arms and he twirled you around a couple of times before firmly placing you back down. He pulled the keys from his pocket and tossed them to you. “Go check it out. It’s a 2018, too,” he smiled as he stood there looking at you. “EEEEEEKKKKKK!!! I love you, baby!” You kiss him and then run to the driver’s side of your brand new sleek black 2500 Heavy Duty Diesel Denali pickup truck. You’d been wanting one for so long and even worked extra hours at the hospital to get it. You had saved over $20,000 in your bank account because you wanted to show people you could do something on your own. You climbed in to admire the beauty it offered, amazed that Jensen knew you so well with what you wanted. But then a small frown came to your face as he jumped in on the passenger side. “What’s wrong, babe? Don’t you like it?” He looked at you with concern. “I do. I really, really do, but I was saving money to get it. I can’t take this, Jensen.” “Hey, don’t worry about it. You did pay for it.” “What? How?” “Remember when we set up that joint account at the bank and you transferred your savings into it?” He saw you nod your head yes. “Well, I set that up so that your money grows and when I saw that you had enough saved, I took that amount and matched it so you were able to get the truck. It’s all in your name, babe. It’s 100% yours.” Tears fell from your eyes as you looked at him. “I dunno what I’d do without you, babe. Thank you so much! I love you.” You leaned forward to hug him tight and give him a kiss. The sound of the leather seats made you smile against his lips.

You were heartbroken, to say the least. You left your cellphone turned off after you came home from driving through Dallas senselessly for hours and even for three days after that. Not once did you visit any social media sites to avoid any pictures of Jensen and Danneel, any baby news. You had turned your answering machine on your phone off when you came home in the afternoon of that day you had left Jensen, not listening to the message that had been left.
The past three days had all followed the same course. You got up, made yourself a coffee and a little something to eat only to get back in your bed to binge watch a show. A few episodes later you would shower and brush your teeth and then you continued watching your shows. You were 12 episodes deep in Designated Survivor when someone knocked on your door. You cocked your eyebrows at Kirkman on the TV and then shrugged, not bothering to open the door. It couldn’t be anyone important and you weren’t expecting anyone anyway.
“YN?” It was Jensen. Fuck. A curse of adrenaline rushed through your body, made your heart beat faster. Not knowing what to do you paused the show on Netflix. A part of you was scared to see him, didn’t want to know why he was in front of your door so you thought that keeping quiet could maybe make him leave. But there was also that part that wanted to jump in his arms, let him tell you that everything was alright and that you needn’t worry about anything and especially not Danneel.
It was that part that made you get up. You tiptoed to the front door carefully so that he wouldn’t hear you move. You stood opposite of the door, with your back against the wall, unsure of what to do next.
“YN? I know you’re in there. Please open the door. I need to talk to you. Please”, he begged.
You knew that you were not strong enough to resist that part of you that wanted to see Jensen. He was also your best friend after all, the person you would have normally run to in a situation like this. But you didn’t want to make it easy for him.
Stepping forward you turned the door knob, taking one last deep breath before opening the door. At least as far as your chain lock would it allow it. You didn’t want to let him in yet.
“What do you want?” You asked staying hid behind the door, your voice hoarse as you hadn’t really spoken for three and a half days.
One of Jensen’s hands reached inside and grabbed yours but not in a creepy way, more in a I am sorry way. “Please open the door. I need to see you.”
You closed your eyes and inhaled deeply. It was all you wanted as well but you weren’t sure if it was the right thing to do. And so you told him. When Jensen spoke again his voice was breaking. “I – I made a mistake, baby. Please, I want to make it right. Let me – let me in.”
You bit your lip, looking up at the wall. You were probably gonna regret that but not letting him in was something you knew you would regret more. You closed the door, unlocked the chain lock and opened the door again. What you saw shocked you. Jensen looked like shit. Under his eyes were dark shadows which were exaggerated by the shadow of a beard. His eyes were red and all in all he was probably in the worst physical condition you had ever seen him.
Just when you were about to say something Jensen crashed his lips to yours. The kiss was full of need, as if your lips were oxygen and he had been without it for way too long. At first you kissed him back but then you realized what you were doing and that it wouldn’t lead you anywhere. The last time you kissed it meant the end of your relationship.
“Stop”, you breathed, breaking the kiss.
Jensen stepped back, he almost looked like a hurt puppy but then apologized. “I just… I need you, YN –“You cut him off by shaking your head. “I don’t wanna do this at my doorstep. Come on in.”
He followed you through to your living room. Slightly embarrassed you quickly threw away some of the Chinese take-out boxes that were lying across the room. Jensen laughed sadly. “Yeah pretty much how I spent my days as well…”
Unsure of what to say to this you sat down. For the first time in your life the silence between you and Jensen was uncomfortable and awkward. He sat down opposite from you, taking your hands in his which you withdrew immediately though. This was too soon. You didn’t want any further physical contact until he said why he was here. And depending on what that was you still wouldn’t want it after hearing him out.
It felt like you could have cut the air with a knife. The tension that was building in the room was unsettling, creeping up on you like a predator on its prey.
“Speak. Please!” You said in a slightly higher note than usual and faster than usual. You wanted this silence to be over.
Jensen sighed. “I talked to Danneel. And against her believe I made it crystal clear that I only want you. Damn it, YN, we barely had 24 hours together. Do you honestly believe I would throw all that away just because she comes in and declares her pregnancy? And I should have told you that right the second she said she was pregnant. I shouldn’t have slept with you...”
You sighed. You didn’t know what you should believe. And that was what you told him, hoped that he would understand. You needed… more. What you needed more of, you didn’t know though.
“Yeah, being a… a dad it’ll change my life – our life, hopefully – but it doesn’t change my feelings for you and it doesn’t mean that we won’t be having children on our own. It’s going to be adventurous and”, Jensen laughed sadly, “Danneel isn’t gonna make it easy for us but I want you to be in on this adventure. Please…”
He looked at you with pleading eyes and it almost reminded you of the situation you had only a few days ago in Vancouver in the restaurant. You wondered why life was constantly making it so hard for Jensen and you.
“Jensen, I – you can’t know that.”“You do realize that all of that sounds like poor excuses? I know this is a lot that is being thrown at us right now but what are you really afraid of?
“Fucking losing you to Danneel, Jensen!” You yelled, springing to your feet. “A baby isn’t ‘adventurous’, it’s not climbing the Mount Everest. It is a human being you need to take care of, you need to be there for and naturally you wanna be there for its first steps, first word – for everything, Jensen. And you’re gonna be there with Danneel. These are going to be precious moments you will share with her while I’m in Vancouver, alone.”
You sighed and ran your hands through your hair. Still standing, you looked down at him. “I want you more than anyone but I don’t wanna be with you and see you fall in love with Danneel again.”
Jensen looked down at his feet and sighed. You weren’t sure if he was contemplating whether to say something or leave and as he remained silent you walked in your kitchen and got a glass of water.
When you turned around, Jensen stood behind you, leaning against the counter. “You are right. These are moments I wanna experience. But what if I’m on set when it takes its first steps or at a Convention? I’d miss them. Would that be sad? Yes. Could I change it? No. We can’t cross bridges before we even come to them.”
He came closer to you, carefully, as if he was afraid you’d push him away again, and when you didn’t move he put his arms around your waist. “And besides, I told Danneel that you’d be there with me when we came to visit and when it’s older there’ll be Daddy weekends. She’ll be the mother of my child but it doesn’t mean that I want to spend any more time with her than you do.”
His strong arms around you made you feel safe and even though you didn’t want to, you enjoyed his touch. It felt like home. You held onto him tighter when you felt tears welling up in your eyes. Maybe what he said sounded too good to be true but it allowed you to look at this shitty situation from another point of view. One that was filled with hope and a future for you and Jensen.
“Okay”, you whispered and looked up at him, a shy smile on your face. You could see how it took a load of Jensen’s mind and he crashed his lips to yours.
“Thank you”, Jensen murmured against your lips before he kissed you again.
You were sure that tough times were ahead but you knew that somehow the both of you would get through this. Even though Danneel probably didn’t deserve the leap of faith you were giving her.

Match Report: 21/1/17
WASTCA One-Day Div 2
Fremantle Mosman Park [6/257] def Bassendean Gold [10/174]
It was like an episode of Perfect Match from the heady days of 1980′s, the panel slid back and we finally got a chance to meet Bassendean Gold.
Having asked the question, ‘On a scale of 1-10 how reliable are you to pull together 11 men and actually show up?’.
‘50/50’, they said.
With both of us one forfeit away from being out of the competition, Dexter would rate us as 110% compatible. [The robot, not the serial killers’ serial killer…] A common mentality among the working classes is that more is more, and their answer to having a healthy squad of below average cricketers was to submit two teams, and then spend the rest of the season struggling to fill one of them. Bassendean Gold stick to the bottom of the ladder like your annoying but oddly charismatic friend with no money, but always keen to hang out, tell tall stories and drink your beer.
You know the type. You want to tell them to fuck off but they are quite nice guys, so you grow to love them.
If we lost this one, it would be a travesty. Worse. We almost did.
Our selection had less of a focus on form or qualifying players, and more on including old boys from the club’s prehistory, who were already going to be in town for ‘La Nocha del Pirata’.
Pirate Night is a Day of the Dead type ritual that involves buying a lottery ticket, dressing up as a pirate, and then drinking as much free piss as possible in the two hours. It ends only after kicking on to Mojo’s and then more rum, sodomy and the lash back at Ray’s place… this is purely speculation on my part, but the image sets the tone, so rack it up to poetic license.
Knowing how these guys drink, I’m not sure that it works as a fundraiser. Maybe the loss serves as a tax write off, or conveniently shifts the out of date stock from the bar.
Daff would be back, and also another blaster from the past, Dave Barratt.
I’d seem him at training and he looked solid. Balding, but with arresting eyes nestled above his ample beard, and a nose with more personality than the plain looking girl from a Christian youth group.
Interesting character! He reminds me of someone, like a post apocalyptic spirit guide from the Mad Max franchise, or a wily villain in Sons of Anarchy.
Which I have only heard of because I let my Dad use my Netflix account, skewing my preference algorithms to dumb action films and soft porn.
Pre game. I confused the Left Bank with the Tradewinds and went to the wrong pub. What can I say?  I don’t know my shit western suburbs pubs from my shit western suburbs pubs. Unfortunately, I was the kind of wanker who only ever only ever hung out in cool places… how times have changed!
But I’m sure it was amazing. I bet Phoenix really tore the place up. Instead, I was sweeping the pitch and installing the stumps.
I’m assuming Ray won the toss and we batted.  At the start of play they only had 7. ‘Poor bastards’, I thought, knowing exactly how it must feel.
Both Murph and I were padded up and watched in envy as Dave and Steve pushed it through the gaping holes in the field.
What we wouldn’t give to be in there now. I almost felt remorse. Almost…
Over the course of the first 10 overs, Ray became increasingly apprehensive about Steve’s run rate. What if he didn’t actually get out? What if we finished our 40 overs, none for 35? We could actually lose this…
Eventually he was bowled for 14.  His highest score for the Pirates, and a relief all round.
I went in kicked it up a bit, while trying not to get myself out. There were runs to be had today, and you take them when you can get them… if only you can keep your head down and play sensibly.
We put on 49 in 7 overs until Lewis came on, my eyes lit up, and I pulled the first ball I faced from him to square leg, where it was miraculously caught, in the one of the best catches I have ever seen in a game of cricket anywhere, ever.
He’s a nice guy, but a few biscuits short of a family assortment.  Built like a brick shit house but his sledges would come out in a thin little high-pitched voice that had the strangely opposite effect of imbuing you with more confidence.
He got a hand to it as it flew over his head popping it up into the air, then over balanced, fell to the ground and with one hand out stretched, the ball landed clean in his sweaty mitt… and stuck.
Sir, I tip my hat to you… and I told him so after the match.
Dave was now on 40 and he and Murph would add 93 before the latter was trapped LBW for 36, painfully close to a 50 and 100 run partnerships for the loss of two wickets respectively.
No glassware for you!
Batsmen were now impatient to get out there, salivating at he prospect of easy runs. Darrell was pacing like a bear in a hot concrete box at the Perth Zoo.
What a difference a week makes!
Shrugger was caught behind and walked like a gentleman, I’m talking blue label Johnny Walker-esque sportsmanship.
On a triumphant return to the club, Dave finished with an elegantly made 87.  A tragedy to not make a ton being caught only 13 from it.  More than just unlucky, the superstition continues for a very good reason, not because of alternate facts, but EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE.
Shorty was stumped, but the big men of Southam and Garrett carried the bat and put on 47 to finish with 257. Ray hit a number of big 6’s to race to 34 in what felt like only a couple of over’s, and Daff made 21 not out.
Our highest total for the season, and presumably ungettable.
I think they even ran a 2... A-mazing.
Darrell was fuming not to get a bat and Ray assured him that opening with the ball, he was bound to get a 5 for today… such was the over confidence.
After Tea, predictable for it’s deliciousness, he opened the bowling with a maiden from the pavilion end, but then went for 12 each off his next two overs. This was unheard of. Usually tighter than proverbial’s proverbial, he pulled it back the next over, but then went for 21 runs off his 5th. Exercising a duty of care, Ray had to drag him for his own good, unless he hyperventilated or exploded with rage, or something. This was potentially his first ever wicketless spell for the season; we are going to have to let him open next week, or never hear the end of it. He slipped from poll position on our champion player table to behind me by 4 points.
Man, that has to hurt...
It is uncouth to speak of intra-club rivalries, and no one enjoys seeing a teammate getting absolutely thumped. Unless of course it is Glen Speering, and only when you can still win comfortably… which is the main thing!
Young Phoenix rose from the ashes of Darrell’s fire and struck from his first ball, Santorini caught by Ray. He bowled well despite the odd wide, and eventually bowled the other opener Cottrell.
Mind you, they had put on an 80 run partnership in 10 overs in the meantime, and were starting to look dangerous, as though they might not only make the runs easily, but in a short amount of time. Like cornered tigers!
Their number 3 was a specialist T20 player from the subcontinent, Chhertri Dhiral, and he blazed, crunching his 50 with barely a single.
We should have had him but I dropped him early, which would have made for a considerably shorter game, the rest of the team made only 63 runs between them.
It also didn’t help that we dropped him another two times, once by Black Eyed Steve, and then Daff did the honour. Both made up for it by buying beers, but it may have serious repercussions for selection next week.
And who would buy the beer?
Corms got more fired up at the dropped catches than I have ever seen him, and sent off batsmen with fiery barrages of expletive, before gently apologising for being unnecessarily ill mannered. It’s always the quite ones…
Dhiral went on to make 111 and the only thing that slowed him down was the slower bowling of Ray and Murph.
It’s interesting, and seemingly counter intuitive, how these changes to the dynamic of the game have flowed in from the introduction of short format cricket.
Murph's donkey drops brought catches, and Rays tempting morsels drew them out, with Shrugger doing the stumping.
We ran through the rest if them with regularity, mostly off the bowling of Shorty who finished with figures of 4 for 29 from 5 overs.
Robbed to not be left on to take his 5 for, but as fatigue set in, he started spraying them everywhere and Ray took pity on the wicket keeper.
I took the last tail-ender LBW and they were rolled for 174, the Pirates up by 83 runs.
It was a good win, we had the runs to play with, but it could easily have gone either way.
Great to have Dave in the team, and next week we look forward to having a full complement to face the unbeaten Applecross, and continue this roller-coaster ride of emotions.
