You'll just get an astonishing 11 MPG while doing it, I can't imagine a diesel on Earth this thirsty. You can pass cars and trucks up an insane grade like they're standing still but you have to live with the same economy that a poorly carburated 454 or 460 got in the early 70s. Also since about 90% of what I watch is online, I was going through withdrawals at my parent's house, and basically just watched Forged in Fire the whole time, so this was stuck in my head. #cummins #cumminsturbodiesel #ramtrucks #ram2500 #dodgeram2500 #dodge #fuckyourwallet #11mpg https://www.instagram.com/p/Br_CzAzA8lY/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=4ls50mpoz5cm

I like the Priuses that had solar panels on the roof that could power the climate control. So you could leave your car off with a dog in it, and have the AC running.
Does it add much to the battery level? No. Is it still useful? Yes!
Okay also I’ve been driving electric cars long enough now to be really emphatic that the fact that they’re not all automatically built with solar panels in the roofs is a scandal.
And somehow almost every time I tell anyone this they roll their eyes and attempt to explain to me that this would not create a perpetual motion machine because of the limitations of the area relative to the power draw of the motor, which is incredibly annoying because that’s not the point.
Yes it’s possible that driving in the sunshine with a solar collector dripping into the battery would net you a little more mileage on that trip before needing recharge, but the usefulness of a solar-topped electric car is that if you drive it someplace–say, to work–and leave it outside in the sun all day, you’ll definitely have more range available by the time you’re ready to head home.
Also if you fuck up your calculations because of the inefficiency induced by cold weather or something and get yourself stranded without anywhere to charge, like halfway up a mountain or, more likely, six miles from home, you can call for rescue or walk away, come back later, and it’ll be able to move again.
This is important because unlike running out of gas you can’t really go get some electricity.
#I've got a Prius but everyone else in my family has electric cars...#well one of my brothers also has a Prius but a much newer ones that's a plug-in hybrid#everyone else including my grandmother drives on all electric#but unlike them i don't have to worry about going somewhere and not having enough charge to get home >:3#at some point i do plan on buying an electric truck tho. like.... the cybertruck is ugly as fuck but! i want a truck#and i hate the gas mileage most trucks have#i drove a rental truck because i had to get big stuff from the hardware store and it got 11mpg!!!!! 11!!#my 2011 Prius can get 55mpg if i baby it and 45 normally#so yeah i will sell out for a Tesla Cybertruck. the Rivian is way too expensive for me#text#long post

How do you access the 2012 Lexus LFA?
How do you access the 2012 Lexus LFA?
All the doors on this car have access by keyless entry to get into the car. The car also comes in 2 doors only and the car will also give you a somewhat expensive 11mpg from it so be prepared to visit the petrol station a lot.

Mazda’s first U.S. dealers, in Oregon and Washington, opened in April of 1970. Toyo Kogyo sold just ~2,300 cars in America that first year, but Mazda soon began to register on the radar of U.S. customers thanks to its famous rotary engines, licensed from Felix Wankel and perfected by engineer Kenichi Yamamoto. The first official U.S. #Mazda rotary was the R100 and the first to get widespread notice was the RX-2 (Capella). But the most popular of Mazda’s 1970s rotary cars arrived in mid-1972: the RX-3. - The RX-3, called the Savanna at home, was a rotary version of the Grand Familia - a new model to slot between the old Familia (“Familia Presto” after 1973) and the Capella (RX-2). Unlike the older Familia/R100, the Savanna was marketed as an entirely separate entity in Japan - and it was a performer. Smaller, lighter, and wider in track than the already quite good Capella/RX-2, the Savanna coupes quickly became competition favorites. But the cars were meant for mainstream buyers, and so there was also a sedan and a rotary-powered family wagon, powered in Japan by the smaller 10A rotary. - In the U.S., the piston-engined Grand Familia was the 808, the Savanna, the RX-3. U.S. cars used only the larger 12A. Rotary Mazdas in the U.S. cost more than comparable Datsuns and Toyotas, but the performance was sports-car stuff, and the RX-3 coupe was the best seller - the sedan lasted just one year, 1973, though the wagon was on sale from 1973-76 and was quite popular. U.S. Mazda sales it ~117,000 in 1973, but by the end of the year a perfect storm had roiled Mazda’s future. - It began with the Nixon shock, which caused currencies to fluctuate, raising the prices of already “pricey for a Japanese car” Mazdas. But it continued with consumer complaints about oil seals, and then came OPEC. Rotary Mazdas were fast, but also got 11mpg, making them seem especially thirsty to U.S. buyers, to whom smaller cars meant “economy.” Yamamoto’s team improved the engines and the RX-3 was still a great driver, sales fell off a cliff and Mazda was in the wilderness for a few years until corporate changes and new products - specifically the piston-engined Familia/GLC of 1977 - arrived. https://www.instagram.com/p/B3HySBYF6Wp/?igshid=gtntnau0rzdk

Hey! Come socialize! Come over and drink with us and go out! There's a party at X's house--BYOB!
Bih. I have $40 left for two weeks, a kid to pickup from daycare and watch, and half a 14 gallon tank of gas in a truck that gets 11mpg AND I have anxiety. No.
Idk why people’s expectations of you are the highest when you’re broke.

Is Ford GT's Ecoboost just a Money Pit?! 😕 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Ford GT, an amazing car revealed this year, it is anything a true driver could wish for. It is powerful, light, aerodynamic, low as hell and even economical, or is it? 😉 . Ford fitted this beauty with an EcoBoost 3,5l V6, which is nothing bad considering it makes up to 600hp 😎. These engines are supposed to be economical in the first place, but it looks like this time it isn't happening 😮. . The fuel economy of this car is 11mpg in town, 18mpg on the highway and 14mpg combined, and this wouldn't be anything bad if it was a V10 Corvette or a Hellcat, but this is a V6 EcoBoost, which should take care of your wallet and not "stealing" another $2,600 in Gas Guzzler Taxes 😕. . Anyway, Ford GT isn't a bad car in any way, it's just a little weird that with a fuel economy of 14mpg they call it Eco 😉. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #fordgt #johncenafordgt #fordgtjohncena #newfordgt #2017fordgt #fordgt2017 #tuning #widebody #libertywalk #driftcar #carmeet #cartuning #widebodycar #libertywalkcar #luxurycar #sportscar #hypercar #drivetastefully #carenthusiast #caremotion #cardesign #auto #roadtime

Muscle pickups, briefly popular in the 1970s in the form of truck’s like Dodge’s “L’il Red Express,” made a comeback in the early 1990s and the first manufacturer to really unleash them was GM. In 1990 and 1991, GM offered a very divergent pair of speedy pickups: GMC’s Syclone, based on the S-15/Sonoma; and Chevrolet’s 454SS, based on the GMT400 C/K. An old-school bruiser, the #454SS came first, in 1990, and it outsold the faster, more exotic (and expensive) Syclone and help set the stage for Ford’s F-150 lightning, but it isn’t as well remembered today as either. - The second fuel crisis largely killed off factory muscle trucks for some time – but GM had produced a variety of special models based on the 1973-87 C/Ks that were aimed at the muscle truck market such as the Chevy Sport and the GMC Street Coupe – both of which were primarily offered in the late 1970s. But custom “Square body” C/Ks were offered into 1987 and many regular short-bed trucks were modded by their owners. The 1970s specials could be had with the 454 although they were not de facto models. - The #GMT400 trucks took most of the 1980s to engineer but they were a massive success when they arrived – GM moved more than half a million units a year in 1988-89, early teething problems with suspension components aside. The aerodynamic-looking trucks looked futuristic and felt comfy and modern inside. The huge array of configurations made it possibly to engineer a muscle truck on the cheap – thus the 454SS was an easy way to test the waters on a factory sport truck. The recipe was a short-box C1500, Bilstein shocks and heftier suspension components, quicker steering, big fat street tires, and a 230-hp, 385 lbs./ft. 454 V8. The truck was dressed in Darth Vader black with graphics that perfectly fit with Chevy’s look of the time. - The engine and overall speed are mild by today’s standards. It’d do 60 in 7.7 second and sucked down fuel at 11mpg - but the 454SS looked the part and, unlike the Syclone, was actually useful as a truck. The 454 was quite popular in 1990 – over 13K were sold, but #Chevy made the truck a limited edition for the next three years, and just under 18K overall were made. https://www.instagram.com/p/B0jXkmnF0hZ/?igshid=ikgy5r6d2tc8

Ethanol Free Fuel as main fuel type via /r/cars
Ethanol Free Fuel as main fuel type
Does anyone here use ethanol free fuel as the main fuel in their vehicle?
I have a 2009 Chevy Cobalt and I recently put a tank of ethanol free fuel in it. At first my car didn’t know how to react to the ethanol free fuel lol. When it was all said and done my dic said I had 500 miles to go on my fuel tank.
I did get about that much out of it. Now today I went and put regular gas in my car and it isn’t running as smooth as before. Also my dic says my estimated fuel is only 350 miles I’m not sure that the mpg difference is that great. That would be 11mpg difference for my 13 gallon tank I think a more realistic approach would be in the 5-9 mpg range difference.
Anyway I’m rambling at this point. Does anyone use ethanol free gas as their primary fuel on their vehicle? If so why? For price comparison ethanol free here is 2.95, regular about 2.50 depending on where you go.
I appreciate your thoughts.
