I utterly adore the anton dungarees by @powluna, so of course had to do a recolour using my colour of magic patterns. this was really fun and relaxing to make, so I hope some of you might like it!

🛒FLIRTYGHOUL'S MINIMART SET - 4T2 🛒

enjoy my lazy previews because i.... am dying... this took two 8 hour sittings probably...

here we have flirtyghoul's mini mart set all converted to ts2. this set is huge, with over like... 100 meshes lmao (i think anyways im just going by the files i counted since each thing has its own mesh. anyways

polycounts - range from the 100s to 3k, there isn't anything over 3k and the avg i'd say is 800 polys (the rounded meshes with multiple objects enters the 4 digits basically). the original polycounts were very high for some so expect some silly low poly bottles xd textures sizes - choose between 512px and 1024px. previews are taken with the larger sizes as the set is so pretty and detailed, but if you want to be on the safe side choose the set with the smaller sizes!

the original set came with some ads/wall hangings so for those i put the small ones onto aikea guinea's wallwriting and then i made a brand new addon that which is rotated clockwise, making room for bigger and longer ads. those meshes are all included too

i also learned how to edit slots so the freezer has 15 slots! u can press M in game to cycle thru each one. the freezer also comes in my palette for object recolours

huge thanks to pforestsims for giving me so much advice and responding to my endless queries.... i appreciate it sm. pforest also put together the ceiling lamp too which i am eternally grateful for!

everything is compressed, a lot of the stuff here has been repo'd as many things share the same textures, but have unique meshes (smth to do with the mapping as there are multiple things on each texture). lord crumps shadow file is required for the freezer and its included

Radioactive Barrel for the Sims 2

I made this with my boyfriend :p I think he even did babby's first mesh editing on it. You'll recognizing the barrel from one of the Maxis fireplaces. The object intermittently emits a modified version of the evil Snapdragon bouquet's effect. Be careful, sustained exposure will kill Sims! They may also vomit and think of radiation, as pictured. Fumes above the barrel mean the noxious effect is active. The sfx is from the base game. The object is always surrounded by ambient smoke, using the original evil Snapdragon sfx. That won't appear if you don't have OfB. Finally, the barrel also casts a green light on surrounding objects. While Sims can "view" it, I made the interaction non-autonomous. as anyone who knows me will know, my house is a zoo i am a sucker for small rodents, especially guinea pigs and hamsters. last year for my 17th birthday i shared these deco guinea pigs, so this year today, for my 18th, have the natural progression of that post: a 4t2 conversion of @kaisosims' rodents pack! 20 new, modular, decorative fur-baby items & accessories for your sims to adore 🥰

everything that could have fitted slots has slots; the hamster shelf, notably, has a grand total of 15! all of the cages are stackable, i.e.: you can put the animals (which are purely deco) in them, then stack them on top of any other surface--the given ones, or a counter, study table, etc.! more info can be found under the cut 👇

this set was originally supposed to be my... wow... 1000 followers and 17th birthday gift. but back then my cc skills honestly kinda sucked and the slots + transparency drove me to insanity. over a year, 1500 more followers, and a mental crisis later, here we are, with the final product of over 30 hours of hard work! 👏 in any case, thank you all so much for 2500 followers!

THINGS TO NOTE

Pretty much everything that can have a slot, has a slot!

All cages can be placed on other surfaces, like tables, counters, etc.; if you want to place an animal inside of them, do that first, THEN place them on the surface.

Everything is decorative; nothing is functional… yet.

Art pieces are in the Paintings category, surfaces like the Cage Stand are in Surfaces -> Misc, and everything else is in General -> Pets.

You may note that some items have drastically different polycounts from the TS4 originals; this is because TS4 automates the appearance of backfaces, but TS2 doesn't recognise them, so I had to add my own.

Included add-ons feature guitar stand and wall-mounted guitar. Of course these require my default to work.

Default guitar features: mesh, textures, TXMTs and SHPE resource.

The original guitar is a peculiar mix of cordoba stage guitar and Gretsch electric guitar. The strings are missing for some reason.

I separated some parts as non-recolourable subsets with new 256x256 px texture. There are two color versions to choose from.

FYI I've edited amplifier recolors after taking the pics so these look a little different.

Here's how recolor for original mesh looks like on my default. It's this one by Michelle.
