Son zamanlarda bir karar vermem gerektiğiyle ilgili bir şeyler hep yazıp yazıp sildim buraya. Öyle ki neden kararsızsın diye yazanlar, anonimden soranlar bile oldu. Ben aslında yolumu seçmiştim ama aklım hep seçemediğimde, geride bıraktığımda kalıyordu. Ya iyi bir şeyi kaybettiysem? Ya güzel bir şey kaybettiysem? Ya bir daha o kadar mutlu olamazsam? Korkuyordum. Aklım ve kalbim arasında kalmıştım, bu aralar o kadar dalgındım ki hayatımda ilk defa insanlar onlara cevap vermediğim için beni dürttüler. Bir cevap aradım, çok çok çok dua ettim, işaret istedim. Allah bana çok cevap yolladı ama görmezden geldim sonra bugün olan bir şey tamam Delfin dedirtti bana. Tamam Delfin. Aklını seçerek bir karar verdin, belki daha çok acı çekeceksin, belki daha çok mutlu olacaksın, kim bilir. Ne yaşayacağını ya da yaşamayacağını kim bilir? Sana artık acı veren bir yerde, her şey düzelirse ihtimaliyle nasıl yaşardın? Kendin olabilir miydin gerçekten? Her şey sana korkutucu geliyor, çok uzun bir süre rahata alıştıktan sonra boşluktasın biliyorum ama o boşluğu sevginle, kendine olan sevginle, hayata olan sevginle dolduracaksın. Yeniden başlamaya korktuğunu biliyorum ama sen herkese ve her şeye çoktan teşekkür etmedin mi?

Lenticular Test #3

For this 2D project, I’m continuing to explore censorship through distortion and selective visibility by placing progressively blurred portraits behind a lenticular sheet. The portraits become increasingly abstract and unreadable, mirroring how censorship erases, distorts, or fragments information over time.

The portraits are of my sister (thanks again, hehe), and all effects were done entirely in camera.

I'm not quite convinced of the effect once behind the lenticular sheet, so I'll continue to experiment with the medium.

Attached are some of the photos I plan to turn into short 4-8 frame "animations" for the lenticular poster.
