I live in the prairies and I've always wanted to live out west, but the price of everything seems much higher. Do you find it difficult financially? With inflation, rent prices sky rocketing etc.

I mean my only point of comparison was Toronto, a notoriously expensive city. So I find van island cheap comparatively. I think between the parties and here bc would seem expensive. But! There’s a ton of tiny towns in the interior and on the islands that are likely less expensive

Did your sister move to BC with you or is she still in Toronto? What made you decide to move all the way across the country?

Of course we moved together! My mums with us too, I could never move across the country without my family. Honestly I wanted to move out of the country, go super far away but unfortunately it didn’t work out, so we were looking for small town island vibes without leaving Canada and bam. Now we’re here.

For YEARS, I have been screaming in the void that the US right wing was gonna try to force us to integrate with them or become a vassal state of theirs. I was called alarmist when I said Trump would try. Some people thought it was a risk, too, but sooo many thought it was too crazy to be a thing.

And now, our reporters and former governor general are recognizing it.

Honestly I don’t know if I’m any more mindful or reflective, I spend a lot of time on 911 twitter lmao yelling about those gay firefighters. But honestly being perceived so much is what really did it. Maybe my frontal lobe took longer than usual but moving to an island and getting a bit older made me want to be Known a lot less.

Also I spend 85% of my brain energy on school and the rest goes to keeping myself and my family alive lmao not a ton of time to properly do social media.
