Andrew watches Clairus go bright red, "I-!"

"I thought you were blacklisted Clairus. How about you go before security grabs you?" Josten asks as cameras turn from them to the embarrassed reporter.

"I have a pass!"

"We just took you off of Probation Mrs. Lahey." Andrew hears the PR Manager next to him say. "I guess we'll see you in another year." The PR manager says making a hand signal.

Andrew watches as the woman struggles valiantly in the security guard's hands and sees the PR Manager making another hand motion to wrap it all up.

sometimes its so crazy to realize that there's actually a lot of things i like. that i thought i didn't like because i was a depressed teenager. i love being outside! i love swimming! i love talking to people! even strangers sometimes! i love getting dressed in fun outfits and doing makeup! i love reading and going to art museums! i just thought i was doomed forever to a life of complete and total apathy and void! and now look at me! still a little shaky but i'm doing it!!!!!

God is testing our hypocrisy, revealing the truth behind what we say and how we live. As it says in Matthew 15:8, 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.' We may hide from others, but not from God. He sees our hearts, like it says in 1 Samuel 16:7, 'People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.' We are called to live out our faith, not just speak it. James 1:22 reminds us to be 'doers of the word, not hearers only.' Through these trials, God refines us, testing our hearts like silver in the furnace (Proverbs 17:3).

An indeterminate amount of time later, or five minutes as his watch told him, the press conference started. The Atlanta Wolves were paying him to guard their goal and bring their mediocre defense up from adequate to good.

They were not paying him to make nice with the press.

Like, the most interesting power I have rn is an Apollo kid who can inflict plague and sickness on other people. All my other characters? Lame!
