There's a lot of things you would need to know before spending more than a day with Grian.

1. He can be very jumpy when he's hyper focused on something

2. He bites as a form of affection, he cannot be stopped

3. If you are tall enough, he will perch, regardless of what you are doing

4. He will eat chocolate despite being fully aware it could kill him

5. Do not ask about the Chicken Army, that was The Man In The Chicken Costume, not him

6. He can randomly disappear from reality at any point in time, give him a minute

7. He is easily distracted by music, expect him to wander off when he hears it

8. This is Mumbo, Mumbo comes with Grian, do not separate them

9. This is Scar, he will follow Grian around, he cannot get rid of him

Joel having statues of Lizzie and Jimmy in Hermitcraft got me thinking

Joel has separation anxiety, it used to be worse but it's been getting better. Of course he still has moments where he panics completely because he can't find either of them but the statues help.

He copes with not being able to see Lizzie and Jimmy every day by building statues of them. Most of the Hermits don't quite get what Joel is doing but everyone in the life series are just like 'yup, that's Joel' and don't question it.

Most of them saw the absolute panic Joel ended up in at the start of 3rd Life, the statues are nothing compared to that.

Lizzie and Jimmy both find the statues adorable.

Ren... doesn't talk about his past. At all

(This is me smushing my two favourite fandoms together and running for the hills)

Nobody on Hermitcraft really knows where Ren comes from except for the fact that if you get him started on dragons, you will never here the end of it.

Ren refuses to tell people about his past for a number of reasons. One, he would have to explain how he became a werewolf so young (at his father's negligence). And two, he'd have to talk about his metal leg, which he doesn't like doing, explaining his he lost it that is. It still haunts him to this day. He'd probably also have to explain about the dragons and the war against dragons and how he befriended one and got kicked out of the village and came back to end the war only to nearly be killed and how much trauma he has from dragon hunters and all the hostile dragon species and how he should be dead.

If you haven't gotten it yet, I've combined Hiccup and Ren, then slapped the Race To The Edge timeline onto him, minus the other riders so it was a lot darker.

Ren doesn't know how he's immortal, he just is. At least he still has Toothless, who's still as sassy as ever.

Also, Ren definitely has a type. (Casually side eyes the art WIP I'm not going to ever finish).

That's a very good idea but consider:

Gem is a deity of higher order than the Watchers.

Gem joined the Life Series to scare the Watchers because she got fed up of seeing her friends come home upset, traumatised and scared of each other.

The Watchers straight up fear Gem and prefer to pretend she doesn't exist until They have to. Of course They hate her, she made the Insanity calm down and helped him win.

But They can't do anything against her because she's above Them. That'd cost Them Their heads, They're not idiots.

Gem is in fact constantly messing around with stuff, turn the odds to her favour and slowly get rid of the Watchers, with Lizzie's help of course. It would be even more helpful if she knew what Lizzie was because she is most definitely not a fae no matter how much she looks like one, she's TOO powerful.

Look me in the eyes and explain to me why Gem confirmed her empires character was a inter dimensional goddess, Gem opened the end portal for the first time, and Gem's new power is literally watching people and yet I'm still the only one screaming "GEM'S A WATCHER" in this corner

Jimmy hates his building but it wasn't always like that.

It started with Empires, the jokes were fine, they were funny... They weren't, Jimmy hated them but he didn't say anything because his friends were having fun, that's all that mattered (right?).

It got worse in DL, because people were actively destroying his home, therefore they hate it. Jimmy completely ignored the fact that it was just Scar, because by that point it's already been cemented that his building isn't good.

Then the toy bit in Empires 2 and Joel building around it. Joel was changing it to be better, clearly, therefore Jimmy's building must be horrible. It didn't help that the toy bit was slowly destroying his self-esteem but again, he says nothing because everyone finds it funny, so he just plays along.

Then in the castle defence video, Jimmy stressed himself to the point of getting sick because everyone was going to see how terrible he is at building and leave him. So Lizzie has to step in and builds the castle for him. Then as everyone is going around, they're complimenting Lizzie's building and not noticing how Jimmy is shrinking in on himself.

So he stopped building massively, he avoids it when he can and no one noticed. So they must not care about him, right? So he starts to pull away but that just makes him desperate for attention.

Lizzie and Scar noticed it in WL, Lizzie especially because of how desperate he was to get her to join him. They don't get answers though, Jimmy brushes them off every time they ask if he's okay. They try to get Scott to talk to him, Tango, Grian, Joel, everyone. Nothing works because most of them don't see it.

No one has seen Jimmy since WL but most of them assume he's busy because he kept talking about a big project.

Jimmy's fine with guess the build because everything is about the same with 5 minutes and a prompt they likely don't understand. It's also a lot easier to hide his anxiety behind the hilarity of it all. But everyone is still laughing at him, not with him, no matter how much he pretends, it still hurts.
