The Falcons Falling Apart?

9/29/24 Rookies Playbook
As this Tuesday approaches for my text post, so does the crippling downfall of the Falcons.
This statement seems awfully hurtful for someone (me) who knows little to nothing about football, BUT I actually caught some of this game shockingly!
Drew Dalmon, 25, is suffering from a ‘high ankle sprain’ thanks to a play from the Kansas City Chiefs in the second quarter from last Sunday’s game.
Salmon is in his fourth (pro) season, but this will be his third as a starter. When speaking to my father he also brought up that he had an overall grade of 76.2 before the game that Sunday, and I won’t lie to you all. I have no idea what that means. If I had to assume it’s his ability to play on a scale of 1-100. They see him fit at a C-level, but I must be wrong because why would you want a C-Star player? (After some research I was pretty much on the money, they are ‘numerical representation’ of a players filed performance)
The Falcons appointed Ryan Neuzil as his replacement, and as far as my knowledge stems they are struggling with it, going off of the Sunday game.
However, Dalmon wasn’t the only player injured that night as Kaleb McGary had to leave the game due to a knee injury in the second quarter.
McGary only has a few years on Salmon, only being 29, but this doesn’t mean that he can get away scott free. He IS getting up there in age and I know little about his injury but I do hope this doesn’t cause any future problems in his playing.
At the end of the game it was mentioned that with some work they believe Neuzil will be in top shape for the next game, meaning Dalmon will be sitting out for the next couple of games. Again, going off of Sunday's game I do hope they make a comeback because it will be a dreadful season if they keep playing the way they are now.

The "redemption questionnaire" - the survey results.
Hello! Welcome back to the results of this survey, which is now closed - I really didn’t expect this amount of interest and am thankful for the ability to collect this much data on the subject.
Now, the reason I made this survey in the first place was this post crossing my dash. It talks about people wanting to see characters or people who they dislike suffer, even if healing is completely possible or even the better option - it’s about people denying that there is such a thing as bad people “deserving” things that we humans need to function, such as being loved.
This post talks about fictional characters, but despite that fact, it made me lose my faith in humanity just a bit. I am a pretty cynical person, but I also consider myself quite empathetic to existing and fictional people alike.
So, I got curious, and wondered - in the Dream SMP fandom specifically, is there a way to get input as to what people actually think about the issue of redemption?

So, the goal of the survey was get information to answer certain questions;
Do people think that some characters shouldn’t be redeemed or are irredeemable because of their actions, however don’t hold this true for others?
Are there people, who despite disliking certain characters, still believe that they deserve healing?
Would people want characters to suffer or even die for their actions rather than heal and be happy?
Do people think certain characters in the story don’t deserve to be happy?
Now, I did get some responses that were asking to include or exclude certain characters from the main three (Quackity, Dream and Wilbur - all names are talking about the characters only), however there was a very specific reason I chose these people.
Quackity and Dream have both done actions that have similar weight, while Wilbur serves as an outlier; someone who hurt people in more indirect, but still impactful ways. All three of them have been hurt - Wilbur mostly by Eret’s betrayal, Quackity by Schlatt and others, and Dream by Sam and Quackity. All three have contributed to a toxic and harmful environment, which in turn hurt them back even more and drove them deeper into becoming destructive.
Such a comparison between them would test the fandom’s ability to separate their feelings from in-story morality, as well as bring double standards to light.
Let’s see the demographic part of the survey first, as to see what we are working with;
Of the 390 people partaking in the survey, 44.9% like the direction the Dream SMP plot is heading at the moment, 3% do not and 52.1% are not sure.
Of the characters whose redemption arcs are most anticipated, 71% of participants are expecting a BadBoyHalo or Eggpire redemption arc, Niki/Jack and Wilbur coming close in second and third with 59.2% and 51.8% respectively. As for the main trio of this survey, Quackity lands with 28.2%, Dream with 43.3% and Wilbur with 51.8% of participants thinking a redemption arc for them is likely in the near future.
I would like to express right now that the characters included in the “possible redemption” section do not in any way, shape or form reflect on what I personally think about the characters. I don’t think certain characters need a redemption arc, however I left in the option in order to let people pick it if they wish to do so.
As for the healing arc question, quite understandably, Tommy and Tubbo are the characters most expected to get a healing arc in the upcoming storylines, sitting at 76.2% of participants. Niki and/or Jack come in second with 62.1%, and Quackity, Wilbur and Dream land at 25.4%, 45.9% and 42.8% respectively.
For the aforementioned questions, 3.6% or participants thought none of the Dream SMP characters would get a redemption arc, and 5.4% thought none of them would heal - and with the track record the story has so far, I honestly cannot blame them.
Now we move more towards the main trio;
48.7% of participants have positive feelings towards Quackity’s character, and 23.1% have negative ones. The majority of the participants (66.2%) think that his actions are intentional and hurtful, but interestingly enough, only 25.4% say they find them inexcusable and awful.
For c!Dream, 51.5% feel positively towards him and 35.7% do negatively. Luckily, 53.8% find his actions inexcusable and awful, while 40.3% find them intentional and hurtful.
c!Wilbur breaks the trend with 58.7% of people feeling positively towards the character and only 17.2% feeling negatively, however such a discrepancy can be expected when we compare his actions (found 65.1% of the time to be intentional and hurtful).
I want to preface this next section by saying that I have nothing against people who find redemption arcs unappealing, or wouldn’t find them narratively appealing in the specific story. These answers will be counted as merely neutral ground in the upcoming questions; you are completely valid if you think certain character arcs would not fit the themes or style of storytelling, or if you want bad people to stay bad for the sake of conflict.
However, 79.5% of people find well-done redemption and healing very appealing within the story, and 19% like it for certain stories and characters, so this shouldn’t impact the results on a large scale.
1. Do people think that some characters shouldn’t be redeemed or are irredeemable because of their actions, however don’t hold this true for others?
People’s reasoning for not wanting characters to heal varies, however the contrast between c!Quackity and c!Dream in this scenario is very intriguing.
Despite the two having done comparably disgusting things, one with more and one with less selfish reasons but neither excusable, both classifying under abuse, the people who think c!Dream shouldn’t get a redemption arc (9.7%) because of his actions greatly overshadow the people who think c!Quackity doesn’t deserve a redemption arc (1%) because of his actions. Hell, even c!Wilbur’s percentage is higher, sitting at 2.1%.
This is extremely surprising considering the demographic - and seems to hint at the fact that people who think positively of c!Dream are far more likely to think that c!Q and c!Wil deserve redemption and healing (despite the common argument that both have hurt him greatly) than it is the other way around.
Even sending a bad message is a lot higher with c!Dream (30.5%), despite the fact that c!Quackity’s actions and him as a character could be similarly triggering, and he himself sits at 2.6% of participants. Of course, this question could be partially taken as what he went through in prison making him better, which would definitely be a bad message to send, but considering the percentage (42.1%) of people who don’t want Dream to be redeemed, that’s still insanely high.
Overall, people from a very balanced demographic of people who are positive and negative towards the three characters, only 52.6% want Dream redeemed as opposed to the 83.8% with Quackity and 86.7% with Wilbur - and the reasons given seem to be largely based on bias and double standard, or even hypocritical in context.
For the fandom, this question’s answer seems to be yes, although from the people who are c!Dream positive, this sort of thinking seems to be of a much lesser extent and amount towards characters they dislike.
2. Are there people, who despite disliking certain characters, still believe that they deserve healing?
Let’s look at some of the comments given to this answer;
“On the one hand I do want Dream to recognize that his actions have hurt people, but I really don’t want torture to have ‘made him better’ or for the people he hurt to have to forgive him.”
“as much as I hate c!quackity and dislike c!wilbur, I believe that evil is not something you are, its what you do and as such I think every person deserves to heal and grow.”
“Quackity is the closest - he's spiraled far, but we got to see some of what he could be as a more moral man. Dream's arc would be....incredibly difficult to pull off, and while everyone deserves a chance to change, not everyone who does is ever owed forgiveness. And Wilbur....I dont know what would make him want to get better, but I want him to.”
“I wouldn’t like some of these characters to get redeemed(c!Quackity), but I know everyone deserves a chance at redemption because no one is mentally stable and not traumatized.”
“bastard men. on a serious note ive noticed a lot of evil in dsmp come from the perpetuation of the cycle of revenge and punitive punishment and i think excluding someone from them would. just not be a good message. and yeah c!dreams motives and methods being seen in separate characters is just proof of this - nothing that made any of these men villains are unique to them, and they are all shit-infested holes other characters can fall in.”
“i think every character on the smp has done horrible things and is morally grey, but i think everyone deserves the chance and the ability to heal and try to be better.”

It doesn't mean they get rewarded or forgiven for it, it just means they are capable of change and are able to fulfil character potential beyond being a villain.”
It seems to me like there definitely are a lot of people in each side of the spectrum, so this test seems to have come back positive; however, there are more questions that we have yet to answer.
3. Would people want characters to suffer or even die for their actions rather than heal and be happy?
Here is probably a good place to mention this questionnaire was more of a psychological experiment than a survey. Most of the answers were specifically designed and in such an order that would get your mind thinking about certain things before shoving your psyche into a difficult question.
Well, here comes the moment of truth; what sort of redemption arc do people prefer? Would they rather the character get better and reap the “rewards” (which are actually simply things every human being needs and deserves; love and happiness), atone for their actions but not get to be happy, or would they like them to suffer or be punished instead? Do people really treat basic human needs as “rewards” for being a good person; or are they only reserved for characters that were never bad people in the first place? Remember; all of these characters have inarguably gone through pain during their life. Just how much do people enjoy punitive justice, and should I literally just stick to my corner of the fandom for my own good?
The answer probably won’t surprise you!
Starting off, 82.8% want a happy or neutral ending for Quackity, 59.4% of which think he should experience good things in the end. 54.4% of participants want a happy or neutral ending for Dream, 62.7% of which think it should lead to him being happy and loved. 89.2% of people want a happy or neutral ending for Wilbur, 49.4% of which lean towards happiness over closure.
17.2% of participants would prefer Quackity to experience pain as part of his redemption arc. 8.5% want him to be mentally tormented by the weight of his own actions, and 5.6% think he should be punished before being allowed to get better.
For Dream, these percentages are way higher- and here is the funny thing, I thought that pretty much no one would say he should suffer before healing, because he’s already suffering for his actions indirectly by being abused by people who hate him for them. However, 7.2% of people think he has yet to be punished enough for his crimes in order to deserve being redeemed. 21.5% want him to suffer under the weight of his own actions, and 6.9% would want him to die instead of getting a happy ending. Overall, 45.6% would prefer a redemption arc for Dream in which he is subjected to pain or punishment.
10.8% of participants would want Wilbur to have a more difficult character arc, with the percentages pretty evenly divided between the options.
4. Do people think certain characters in the story don’t deserve to be happy?
“Deserving” basic human needs, or not deserving them for being bad people/being bad people in the past, is something I don’t personally agree with, however this is tumblr, not thought police, so let’s just look at the survey results.
While 68.5% of participants believe all of the characters in the story deserve to be loved and happy, only 66.2% think Wilbur does, 61.5% think Quackity does, and 38.5% think Dream does.
Let’s look at some closing thoughts on the subject as a closing note;
“I want everyone to have a sort of personal redemption. Where they realize they have hurt people. But I think it’s difficult. I mean Dream abused a child. Quackity tortured Dream relentlessly. I think the redemption arc that is the easiest is one for Wilbur because of cc!wilburs acting and emphasis on his characters mental health. But I think Wilburs also done so much f**ked up shit too. I think it’s difficult. I just think the redemption arcs are really really difficult.”
“i genuinely can't help myself, i want everyone to have the chance to be better.”

Conclusion: in the end, this is all the ways in which we like to enjoy fiction. However, for some completely unrelated reason, I am now about 45.6% less likely to attempt to interact with anyone outside my immediate group of friends in the fandom.

A peerless bricoleur credited with “changing the potential of sculpture,” Sze gleans from the physical and digital worlds, building artworks of staggering intricacy and diversity that invite minute observation while evoking a macroscopic perspective on the infinite. Activating the borders that separate mediums, she reflects on the overload of virtual experience and the confusion that it creates with our real experience in physical space. In paintings, sculptures, and video installations, Sze grapples with the ideas and matter of time and entropy, underscoring the precious and precarious nature of materiality. The works on view transform the galleries into a unified, image-laden expanse, allowing viewers to grasp the formal and conceptual breadth of Sze’s practice. Cast sculptures Wider than the Sky and Pound for Pound (both from the 2020–21 series Fallen Sky) are directly related to Sze’s landmark installation that was inaugurated at Storm King Art Center in upstate New York this summer. Inspired by ancient architecture and the language of ruins, they catch passing light and shadow, appearing as if already disintegrated.
In recent years, Sze has also returned to painting, adapting the processes of sculptural accumulation to two dimensions. Her richly textured yet loosely structured paintings collapse multiple forms of picture making into a dynamic whole. Sze weaves layers of paint and scraps of images—often visibly taped to the surfaces—into compositions of sweeping arcs, thrumming lines, and shimmering gradients. In freely combining photographic imagery and painterly mark making, these restless tableaux evoke the fluidity of the digital realm while retaining the aura of the analog and the handmade. A play of light beckons viewers from the rear gallery where the latest of Sze’s Timekeeper video installations plays, a co-op of structural elements and moving, sounding digital parts. From a makeshift rigging a pendulum swings, perpetually marking time and space across a salt-covered arena ringed by process-related flotsam and jetsam while disembodied video images track around the room, like searchlights. Art Basel Parcours For the Parcours program in the old part of the city of Basel, Sze has created Timepiece (2021), a large-scale outdoor video work that transforms the facade of a four-story building at the top of the historic Rheinsprung into a plume of moving images seemingly let loose from their frame. A multitude of randomly coded video sequences—a moon, a card trick, an electrical storm, and more—appears at dusk, rising, pixelating, glitching, and eventually dispersing. Like nature, they seem to have unpredictable lives of their own. In this mesmerizing live digital process, Sze further explores her original concept of timekeeping as a key framework for knowledge, meaning, and the record of life lived. This facsimile painting copies part of a scene in the tomb of Userhat (TT 56) at Thebes. This vignette depicts men waiting their turn to have their hair cut by the barber who is at work in the lower left. The facsimile was painted at the tomb in 1925-1926 by Nina deGaris Davis who was a member of the Graphic Section of the Museum's Egyptian Expedition.

Polish Army 75mm Wz.1902/26 Field Gun used in World War Two.
Some excerpts from my good Polish friend at PIBWL who does great work doing research and translating documents into English, (I just did some very light editing work here): “...Wz.1902/26 guns were the only gun type used in eleven Mounted Artillery Detachments (Polish: Dywizjon artylerii konnej, dak), in each Cavalry Brigade. In 1938 there were 210 guns in the mounted artillery. A detachment (Polish: dywizjon, not to confuse with a division) had 12 or 16 guns, in four-gun batteries; their number depended on whether the Cavalry Brigade had three or four cavalry regiments. The battery consisted of two platoons. In 1939 there were eight three-battery detachments (Nos. 2-7, 13, 14) and three four-battery detachments (Nos. 1, 9, 11). There were also created at least three additional batteries and one platoon of surplus guns during the mobilization.Second user of 75 mm wz.1902/26 guns were two-gun infantry artillery platoons in 90 Infantry Regiments of 30 regular Infantry Divisions. Their primary purpose was to provide the infantry with a direct support in an attack. In 1938 there were 186 guns in the infantry. Despite plans, regiments of reserve Infantry Divisions did not receive own artillery. It is noteworthy, that Polish regimental artillery had longer range (and potential anti-tank capabilities), than regimental artillery of enemies, as a side effect of adopting old field guns instead of special short-barrel infantry guns. On the other hand, special infantry guns were lighter and could accompany the infantry more easily (not mentioning, that German and Soviet infantry regiments had more guns available). 75 mm guns wz.02/26 were also used in Polish armoured trains, mounted in artillery turrets of armoured wagons, on original shortened gun beds, or on anti-aircraft Lender mountings. Ten mobilized armoured trains used 25 guns 75 mm in total, four more guns were in reserve wagons. Apart from 75 mm wz.1902/26 guns, a small number of original 76.2 mm wz.1902 guns remained in Polish service - there were 89 in August 1939. Half of these guns were used to create 22 two-gun positional artillery platoons, assigned to units defending fortified areas (eg. Wizna, Modlin, Węgierska Górka, Osowiec). They were meant for a stationary defense, for they had no horse teams and could be pulled for a short distance only by crews. According to some sources, part of them were to be built-in into fortifications. It should be noted, that wz.1902 guns differed from all other guns used by the Polish in 1939 by having a Russian system of scaling sights and training mechanism. There was also created one three-gun platoon No. 111, but in summer of 1939 one of its 76.2 mm guns was clandestinely sent to Polish transit depot at Westerplatte in Gdańsk, defense of which became one of symbols of Polish campaign. It was the only field gun available at Westerplatte and on 1 September 1939 it fired 28 rounds across a harbour channel, destroying German MG emplacements in warehouses, before it was damaged by a battleship "Schleswig-Holstein". The platoon No.111 itself, with two guns, was assigned to the 2nd Naval Rifle Regiment of the Land Coastal Defense, defending an area around Gdynia until 19 September 1939 (apart from these, it had own platoon of 75 mm wz.1897 guns, and both types operated together, what caused some trouble for a commanding officer, due to different methods of aiming). Some guns were given to the KOP - Border Protection Corps, defending an eastern border against the Soviet invasion after 17 September 1939. There were at least 7 guns assigned in September 1938 for Sarny fortified area (it is however not clear, if they were not replaced with wz.1897 guns subsequently, according to later order). The KOP also had three of the mentioned positional artillery platoons, created in KOP NCO School in Osowiec (Nos.36-38).Most of Polish artillery pieces were captured by the Germans, the rest were captured by the Soviets. In November-December 1940 the Germans sold to Finland 54 original 76 mm guns model 1902, presumably of Polish origin. In Finland they were designated 76 K/02 and joined 195 guns of this model already in possession (most being captured from the Soviets in 1918-1940). These small buildings are always the same proportions as real life, just at different scales. There is an HO scale, which is the most common, OO scale, and N scale. The HO scale is a 1:87 scale, which means for every foot in the real world, it is 3.5 mm in the model. The OO scale is a 1:76.2 (for every foot it is 4 mm) and is the most popular in the United Kingdom! The N scale has a range of 1:148 - 1:160, although the distance between the rails on the railroad is the same with all scales on the N scale. This distance is 9mm. Whatever scale you choose, there are dozens of models you can use to make your railroad exciting and fun. You can add scenery with trees and grass and hills, and you can make it whatever season you desire. Another fantastic thing about model railroad buildings is that there is an intense attention to detail. Each building is designed carefully and intricately to look as though you shrunk a building at our scale. Overall space.
Paths and walkways around my design: The minimum width for a walkway is 48 inches (121.9 cm), which allows for two pedestrians to walk side by side comfortably. It is recommended, however, to increase the width if possible in high use public areas to at least 72 inches (182.88 cm).
Mezzanine - The mezzanine will be made from ⅓ of the great hall. 17m long and 11m wide positioned on the left hand side of the great hall. It will be raised 7.5M. The positioning and height of the mezzines allows optimum natural light on the mezzanine and ground floor. balustrade height 1.1m
Wheelchair Accessibility - The current stairs within the great hall are 1.06m. I will be positioning a wheelchair ramp on the west side of the great hall's entrance. The maximum allowable slope in any new construction is 1:12 with a maximum rise of 30” (76.2 cm) without a landing. A ramp with a slope between 1:12 and 1:16 can have a maximum horizontal length of 30’ (9.14 m) without a landing. A ramp with a slope between 1:16 and 1:20 can have a horizontal run up to 40’ (12.19 m) before requiring a landing.
Spiral Stairs - maximum permitted pitch of 37º with a maximum riser height of 190 mm and minimum tread depth of 280 mm, with all riser height and tread depths being equal over the stair.
Area 1 - Experience - (The studio space for people to create and experiences evas use of tools, materials, processes, lighting qualities)
Studio tables (working, creative tables and space):
Within the space there will be 4 working benches within the studio space. Each bench will be at standing height and allow the individuals to process work actively with others. The work benches will be 2 meters wide by 1 meter width and 1meter in height. A clearance of 48” | 122 cm between tables and a wall is recommended for maximum flexibility and movement. Tables will be positioned 3 minutes from each other to ensure maximum flexibility and movement when working.

Area 2 - Encounter - Exhibit/display (Mezzanine exhibit space/gallery for people to experience her work
(Art work ideally is hung at eye level, and 1.6m from center to the floor.)
Viewing Benches. One top of the mezzanine is the “gallery space”. Within this space I will position 2 benches to observe the art. The height of a bench is typically between 0.5m and 0.6m (50-60 cm). Although this is the average range, the height of a bench is dependent on its use. Benches can have a depth anywhere from 38-51 cm. Bench length can range from 107-152 cm and can fit 3-4 people comfortably. Benches will be positioned at different areas of exhibition space.

Repetition Nineteen III, 1968 (latex pods) - 19 translucent pods. The pods will be scattered in size. One pod will be the main pod with a 2m radius. Roughly allowing 5-6 people in the space comfortably at a time. The pods will range from 1m-5m in height.

Focusing on how the pods are used
The layout how to control the uncontrollable. (having pods which are structured in a way, however their forms and materials are uncontrolled.
Feedback from Jen:
- When discussing my concept with Jen, we came to the conclusion that the gallery space should be an area for individuals to display their work after creating in the studio space. This idea makes better use of the space as previously I designed it to would be a gallery for Eva hesses sculptures, however seeing as the “pod” like structures are large scale models of her sculptures it didn't seem valid to have both spaces so similar.
- We also decided that the “rope-like structure” should be taken out of the design as I felt it made the design childish and didn't fit well into the space.
- The large scale pole sculpture of Eva I am using as the stairs pathway and mezzine support will extend through the muezzin to the roof to create a more dramatic effect and create more depth to the space.
Key elements which the gallery space need to include:
- Minimalistic
- Bright
- Light to ensure art work and material manipulation can be seen
- Open
Developing the space:
After the lighting workshop with Sven, I realised that the gallery space was rather boring and lacked any interest. seeing as the mezzanine will be filled with natural light from sky light and great halls windows I feel it Is the perfect opportunity to play with lighting. I am interesting in inserting some kind of structure/feature which plays with the lighting, however still ensures the gallery space has all the elements you would find within Evas past exhibition spaces (minimalistic, bright, open, spot lighting)
I will be using lighting to light up the sculptures e.g the fibreglass tubes will have a focal light on them to give them a glowing effect while still showing the materially and process involved in making that particular sculpture. Spot lights will reduce any shadows or area where the light doesn't represent the sculpture how it should.
I will use a mixture of flood lights and spot lights on sculptures such as Evas sculpture Accession II. accession is made from fibreglass and wire, therefore it may reflective qualities which could be rather harsh or take away from the materiality, therefore adding a lot of flat light will reduce glare or distraction.
Inside the ‘pathway” to stairs I will use multiple led lights in the flooring to lead the way, but also light up the inside to see the materials. this will add a glowing effect on the outside due to the structures transparent nature.
Responding to the movement of the human body, the sizes and relationships of stair risers and treads are regulated to make vertical motion safe and easy. Steep stairs make climbing more tiring and dangerous, while shallow stairs are awkward and inefficient for our human stride. Buildings codes have been created to control the minimum and maximum measurements of risers and treads. As general rules of thumb for achieving comfortable relationships between riser and tread dimensions, the following formulas can be used: Tread (inches) + 2x Riser (inches) = 24”-25” (26” for exterior stairs) Riser (inches) x Tread (inches) = 72”-75”
In general public spaces a minimum of 44” (112 cm) must be met—providing ample space for one person and allowing the tight passage of two people. Comfortable two person stair widths range between 49” (125 cm) to 60” (152 cm)

Luthien’s hair length
I have butt-length hair irl, and a decent interest in clothing and textiles. So after seeing this art I started wondering: how long did Luthien have to grow her hair to weave a cloak for herself?
tl;dr going off my shitty math, Luthien had a bob haircut.
Because fuck the imperial system, I’ll be calculating in metric and converting the result.
Say Luthien is 1.98m, at a conservative estimate, and is about 162cm at the shoulder. Her dad is Thingol and her mum is Melian, she’s gonna be tall af.
It takes 2650m to weave 1 sq m of cloth, and Luthien is logically going to opt for the pattern that takes the least possible amount of cloth while covering everything (if someone finds a pattern more efficient than the one above, let me know).
For the purposes of this, I’ll assume each 3 thick strands of hair = 1 thread, a number I pulled out of my ass because I can’t find any actual numbers.
Scaling the pattern up to fit her height, it requires 25274.28 sq cm or 2.527 sq m of fabric to make, which means Luthien needs 20089.65 m of thread/hair. Say Luthien has fairly thick hair at 150,000 strands of hair on her head, and everything is the exact same length.
So dividing that up means... 0.1339m of hair, or 5.27 inches. Which is a bob haircut.
If anyone wants to check my math, here it is:
Cloak: (58+50)″ x 30″ = 274.32 cm x 76.2 cm
(Luthien’s shoulder height of )162 cm/(assumed human shoulder height measurement of )58″ = 162/147.32 = 1.0996 (number I use to scale up the pattern’s measurements)
1.0996 x 274.32 cm = 301.642 cm
1.0996 x 76.2 cm = 83.789 cm
Pattern is thus 301.642 cm x 83.789 cm = 25274.2815 sq cm = 2.527 sq m
2.527 m of fabric x 2650m of thread/m of fabric x 3 strands of hair/thread = 20089.65 m
20089.65 m/150 000 = 0.1339 m = 5.27 inches.
