we need to stop pretending WWE didn't publish an official series of comic books exploring how sami turning heel at hell in a cell was fruit of manipulation by kevin, who systematically got into sami's head by trying to make him believe no one around him really loved or respected him (other wrestlers and fans included) and constantly rubbing his own successes in sami's face in order to convince him he had to "stop caring" aka turn heel to active success - Sami turning "for Kevin" is an incorrect way of putting it, he turned because of Kevin, yes, but that doesn't mean it was a good thing for anyone involved - it wasn't a gesture of friendship, it was the product of guilt, isolation and sami's own insecurities (a consistent quality to his character, either as a heel or a babyface) being manipulated, so can we please stop sugarcoating their relationship??? the kevin and sami dynamic is interesting because it's complex and layered and i'm tired of seeing it reduced to a 1-note buddy show
anyways go read those comics if you never did, they're well written and most importantly, canon (here's a cute video of sami and kevin announcing the comics).
#sami zayn#kevin owens#wwe#justice for my little dudes#respect. the. character's. complexity. RESPECT WRITING#i'm tired of some takes out there that completely dismiss character depth#“uwu he turned for love”#no actually don't make me write a full dissertation on this i swear i will go scorched earth with it

maybe because im in the cm punk fandom so i dont see a lot of alternate analysis or opinions of the promo that are more appreciative to seth's work (to be fair, the other side is absolutely hijacked by ppl who are only there to say punk is a cancer but never watch wwe in years) but also :
1. Punk takes a shot of seth that management loves him, even though hes literally besties with triple h, management's finest soldier.
2. His entire promos in wwe canon was all about not getting opportunities he feels like he deserved to have, which is fair, but it doesnt escape the whiny allegations.
3. Still doesnt excuse the medical issues though, which punk is completely on the right for and seth was an asshole for sidestepping and ignoring it. Others have explained this better than me so im not gonna be redundant and just move on
4. But lets draw a comparison to mjf's entire reason of hating punk is because he left wrestling. Its just as nonsensical and entitled, yet fans reacted differently. Which is understandable, since rollins is considered babyface while MJF is a heel. You explicitly know mjf is the bad guy. But rollins being babyface doesnt mean punk is explicitly a heel. On screen, this is still a face vs face feud that might not be executed perfectly at times. Unless punk explicitly does a heel turn in the future (which im not ruling as impossible), ppl are being dumb for assuming wwe has punk haters in the writing staff. Who knows, maybe theyre keeping it ambiguous because it will drawn more attention online? Maybe we need to wait and see before casting judgement?
5. Also back to point one punk brought up becky first before he got hit with the no children insult lol. Who wanted to take a break to be a mom as a cheap shot to seth. Yeah we should probably examine why it was becky, who feel like she should be the one taking a break and the no kids insult from seth has sexist implications, but again... Punk insulted seth's wife as if shes an extension of seth's ideals and standards, and its still cheered by people online and offline. Even if its been okayed, which im sure it is, you'd be hypocritical to say seth's no children insult to be offensive but doesnt bristle when punk implied seth is a hypocrite because becky didnt follow his career choices no matter the reason
6. Punk is a beast who absolutely won that promo battle and cooked seth as the kids say, but people are hyperbolic when they say seth cant talk at all. Worst part is, its not even a bit. If he wasnt decent on a level above at least 60% of all american wrestlers, he wouldnt be in the wwe especially without family relations to help him. He wouldnt be main eventing wrestlemania and be pushed so heavily. Look at the crowd reactions! Punk cooked him but the crowds were still screaming for him. WWE can be shit sometimes but every company that depends on the show drawing money tries to have standards.
(there is a problem with online fans getting worked and trying to cover up their preferences with, so called objective observation that A or B is shit in the ring or on the mic instead of just saying I dont Like Him or I Just Think He's Neat and im not saying im above that shit, but this aspect mixed with people being hyperbolic and doing grand sweeping declarations is terribly annoying)
7. I still think this feud should be over before mania. I'm sorry but i want my boy holding the title FAST and his biological clock is running out! Also ehhh, we had two obsessive fan turned hater feuds, the third one at least feels different lately, but i want variety. It was only this week that im convinced this wont be a rehash of punk's previous feuds. I want him to use different material other than "oh i crush all my haters" or "im getting so much money". I really miss that variety punk had during his first run, the ses and nexus and best in the world gimmicks are all still very punk but its all different sides of him amplified. Also, i like when punk is an underdog facing someone much much stronger than him both physically and mentally. i want him to show that side more. Sometimes i feel like im the only one here who prefer babyface punk more than his heel self.
8. This is more of a reddit, smarky youtube thing but why do guys kept needling the outfits? like i have my criticism on seth (monday night messiah is the worst ripoff gimmick ever, and one of his main problem is he like mimicking others when his best work comes from him being himself, also his clothes isnt that good if youre a legit fashion enthusiast) but good god the 30 minute outfit rant made me realize most of these men just dislikes him because of the "femme" clothes and would use anything and everything to hide that discomfort under constructive critique. Hes not even trans or gnc, hes just a wrestler 😭
#wrasslin#cm punk#seth rollins#this also doubles as shotgun to keep property values low#wrestling mutual in laws STAY AWAY. there are so few that i tolerate lol

[Crowd Booing]: The Decline of Hulkamania
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1cfd525885ef58c6aa124347d8ddda5c/ada7ad71cc1e1005-94/s540x810/e12c1884ea89f220a144aac8bb471d0039f68ff1.jpg)
I think everyone has seen the footage of Hulk Hogan's appearance on the 1/6/2025 episode of Raw. It was a big enough happening that major news outlets covered it, and I've noticed people trying to understand how this happened. For example, they'll note that Hogan supports Donald Trump, and that's certainly a good way to piss people off, but the Undertaker and Triple H have similar political leanings, so why aren't they booed?
Commentators more familiar with Hogan's recent history will point out the sex tape fiasco, and all the racist stuff he said on the sex tape. But I think he managed to make a few appearances on WWE programming after all of that happened, and he got a warmer reception from the crowd than he deserved. So what changed?
For a lot of wrestling fans, this is all really obvious. Hogan has been a controversial figure long before the sex tape came to light, and maybe 2025 is the year where his bullshit has finally overtaken whatever goodwill he had built up with the public. I think his last big moment of acclaim was when he had that match with the Rock at WrestleMania XVIII, and the Toronto crowd practically forced him to turn babyface. That was in 2002. Everything since then has been a nostalgia run. For a lot of fans, the only version of Hulk Hogan they know is this aging has-been who comes out to do all his catchphrases and tear off his shirt to reveal another shirt. Each time, it gets less and less impressive, and maybe the 2025 audience no longer has any patience for him.
For the sake of argument, let's pretend the sex tape never happened, and no one knows Hogan's a racist. Let's pretend he stayed out of politics, and avoided any other controversies. Even this sanitized version of Hulk Hogan would probably still be irritating to the live crowd, because he's a 71-year-old man doing a beer commercial. He's not there to promote the card, or talk up any of the wrestlers. He just babbles about himself, and how his tag team partners are kind of like Netflix or something. It's stupid and boring and everyone just wants to move on to the next segment. It's not even original, because Ric Flair was plugging his stupid energy drink on AEW last year.
The thing is, fans have been turning on Hulk Hogan for a very, very long time. I watch a lot of Cultaholic videos, and whenever Hogan comes up in one of their top ten lists, they'll talk up his star power and his blunders in the same breath. Younger wrestling fans have probably heard about WrestleMania III and the heel turn at Bash at the Beach '96, but they've also heard about WrestleMania IX and the Fingerpoke of Doom. Oh, and that pesky sex tape. And the Kamala Harris joke. And now this disastrous Netflix appearance.
It's a lot to keep track of, so I thought it might be useful to put together a little timeline of Hogan's fall from grace. Nothing definitive, I just wanted to organize the moments that I could think of. More below the cut.
1989: No Holds Barred. The movie premiers on June 12 and makes about five million dollars on its opening weekend. Maybe this is a cheap shot, since No Holds Barred is such a joke, but I think it says something that the biggest star in pro wrestling at the time starred in a movie about himself as a pro wrestler, and it bombed.
1990: WrestleMania VI. Hulk Hogan loses to the Ultimate Warrior in the main event. Not a big deal in itself, but this is widely understood as the moment when WWF started looking ahead to a future without Hogan.
1991: WrestleMania VII. Hulk Hogan defeats Sgt. Slaughter to win his third WWF Championship. The Ultimate Warrior title reign was apparently deemed a failed experiment, but WM7 didn't benefit from putting Hogan back on top. The show was originally booked for the Los Angeles Memorial Colosseum, but had to be moved to the Memorial Sports Arena instead, due to a bomb threat low ticket sales.
1991: Survivor Series. Hogan loses his WWF title to the Undertaker. Notably, there were a lot of pro-Undertaker signs in the live crowd on that show, even though the Undertaker was a heel. I didn't hate Hogan in 1991, but I do know that I was rooting for 'Taker that month.
1992: WrestleMania VIII. Hogan wrestles what was billed as a retirement match against Sid Justice. The finish is botched when Papa Shango misses his cue to interfere.
1993: WrestleMania IX.Hogan comes out of "retirement" to team up with Brutus Beefcake against tag team champions Money Inc. Hogan and Beefcake lose by disqualification, but then Hogan comes out after the main event of the show and wins the WWF title from newly crowned champion Yokozuna.
1993: King of the Ring. After winning the WWF title, Hogan practically vanishes from WWF television, finally returning in May to lose the title back to Yokozuna before leaving the promotion.
1994: Thunder in Paradise. Hulk Hogan stars in his own TV series as "Hurricane" Spencer, a former Navy SEAL working as a mercenary with a high-tech boat. It isn't very good.
1994-1995: WCW. While Hogan signing with the rival promotion was probably a smart business decision in the short term, his already stale superhero act was rejected by many fans who saw him as a betrayal of WCW's style of pro wrestling. Questionable booking decisions include Hogan winning the WCW title from Ric Flair in his debut match, Hogan's bizarre feud with the Dungeon of Doom, and the the hiring of many of Hogan's friends from his WWF years.
1995: Pastamania.
1995: Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band release Hulk Rules, their first and only album. Of the ten tracks, one song is his WCW entrance theme, and six songs have the word "Hulk" in the title. The tenth track, "Hulkster in Heaven" is a song about Hogan mourning a deceased fan, and promising to see him again in the afterlife.
Hogan would later claim that "Hulkster in Heaven" was a tribute to a Make-A-Wish kid who died of cancer during a wrestling show at Wembly Stadium in 1992. Hogan would also claim that the song was written to raise funds for the family of James Bulger, a British toddler who was brutally murdered by children in 1993. Both versions of the story are absurd fabrications.
1996-1998: nWo. Hulk Hogan betrays WCW to join forces with Outsiders Scott Hall and Kein Nash. The New World Order breathes new life into Hogan's career by finally allowing him to play the villain. However, fans soon grow weary of the long, repetitive storyline, which eventually culminates in the nWo splitting into two warring factions. Throughout this period, WWF and ECW relentlessly mock Hulk Hogan as an egomaniac long past his prime, and their audiences cheer with approval.
1999: January 4 WCW Nitro. Fingerpoke of Doom. Hulk Hogan challenges Kevin Nash for the WCW title in what could have been the culmination of the nWo Civil War. Instead, Nash allows Hogan to pin him, revealing that they are actually on the same side. The nWo is reorganized around several key members known as "nWo-Elite", although this version of the stable would quietly dissolve by mid-year.
1999: August 9 WCW Nitro. After weeks of teasing a face turn, Hogan finally returns to his classic red and yellow ring gear. Bobby Heenan and Tony Schiovane are astonished. The live crowd in Boise, Idaho seem less enthusiastic.
2000: March 6 WCW Nitro. "The main priority in the Yapapi Indian strap match is to have flexibility of the wrist that you strap to your opponent with, brother, because in the Yapapi Indian strap match, when you're in the four corners of the battlezone, the main priority is--is to get the body in the proper position for the strapation, dudes."
2000: March 27 WCW Nitro. "That's the Wall Brother!"
2000: Bash at the Beach. Hogan "defeats" WCW World Champion Jeff Jarrett when Jarrett unexpectedly lays down in the middle of the ring and calls for Hogan to pin him. Hogan complies, then cuts a promo on WCW head writer Vince Russo, accusing him of ruining the company with bad creative decisions like this.
After he leaves, Vince Russo addresses the audience with his own promo, reversing the decision and announcing a new title match with Jeff Jarrett defending against Booker T. Concerning Hogan, Russo claims that this would be his final appearance in WCW, adding: "And Hogan, you big bald son of a bitch, kiss my ass!"
The full truth behind the segment remains unclear, although Hogan later sued Russo and Turner/Time Warner for defamation of character, which suggests that he had not agreed to at least part of the incident.
2005: Summerslam. Hulk Hogan defeats Shawn Michaels. Although this was promoted as a dream match, it is mostly remembered as a contest between two notorious backstage politickers. The program was originally supposed to involve three matches, which Hogan vetoed in order to avoid losing in the second match. In the single match that took place, Shawn Michaels sold all of Hogan's offense to an absurd degree, perhaps in retaliation.
2006: Bubba the Love Sponge records Hulk Hogan having sex with his wife Heather Clem. While all three parties agreed to the sex, Hogan would later claim that he did not give consent to being filmed.
2006: Summerslam. Hulk Hogan defeats Randy Orton. This was Hogan's final match in WWE.
2007: Nick Bollea, Hogan's son, crashes a Toyota Supra into a palm tree. The car is destroyed and Nick's passenger, John Graziano, sustains serious injuries, including brain damage.
2008: Nick Bollea, is sentenced to jail for several months for his role in the Toyota Supra crash. Hogan calls Nick while he is serving his sentence and makes several controversial comments, including his fear that he and Nick might be reincarnated as "blizz-ack gizz-uys".
2009-2013: Hulk Hogan in TNA. I don't know much about this, but I think it's safe to say it sucked. Hogan's final match ever, a six-man tag match in January 2012, took place during this TNA run.
2012: Gawker publishes an excerpt of the Hulk Hogan sex tape.
2013-2016: Bollea v. Gawker. Hogan sues Gawker for publishing the sex tape and is awarded $115 million in damages.
2014: WrestleMania XXX: Hogan hosts the event, and accidentally refers to the Superdome as "the Silverdome".
2015: The National Enquirer and Radar Online report an anti-Black rant Hogan made during the sex tape. In the audio, Hogan expresses disgust with the idea of his daughter dating a Black man, and repeatedly uses the N-word. WWE cuts ties with Hogan and removes all references to him from their website. Later, other offensive comments by Hogan are brought to light, including racist remarks in the 2008 phone call to Nick Bollea.
2018: WWE reinstates Hulk Hogan to their Hall of Fame, and appears on the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia as the event's host.
2019-2024: Hogan appears on WWE television numerous times, including a second induction into the Hall of Fame as part of the nWo.
2024: Republican National Convention. Hogan endorses Donald Trump in the upcoming U.S. Presidential Election.
2024: During an appearance in Medina Ohio to promote Real American Beer, Hogan asks the crowd if they want him to bodyslam Kamala Harris. He then questions her racial identity, asking if she is really an Indian. He then holds up his hand and says "How." like a racist charicature of a Native American Indian, then admits that he'll get "heat for that one, brother."
2025:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1cfd525885ef58c6aa124347d8ddda5c/ada7ad71cc1e1005-94/s540x810/e12c1884ea89f220a144aac8bb471d0039f68ff1.jpg)
I may be laying it on too thick, but the point I'm trying to make here is that Vince Russo was doing shoot promos on Hulk Hogan's selfishness in the middle of a pay-per-view 25 years ago. Fans have been getting bored of this guy way back in 1991. The Iron Sheik shoot interviews went viral in 2007.
His segment on the January 6 Raw show was mostly him talking about how he used to team with Andre the Giant and Randy Savage. And when you really get down to it, those are the latest "pure" memories from Hogan's public life. He main evented against Andre in 1987, and then against Savage in 1989, and the next 36 years has been this desperate struggle to stay relevant.
In the 90's he could tack into the wind and play the graceful loser against the Ultimate Warrior, "retire" against Sid Justice, and then make fans beg him to turn heel before he finally did it in '96. But he kind of sucked as a villain because he never lost convincingly. There was no blowoff to the nWo. Sting beat him in indecisive fashion in 1997, and then the story just kept going for two more years until Hogan got sidelined with a knee injury and started wearing the red and yellow again in '99. Then he left WCW for good and everything since then has been a nostalgia act.
And the problem is that eventually you run out of nostalgia. What made Hogan a superstar in the 80's was the way he'd dominate his opponents with his He-Man doll physique. Then he got older and leaner and started relying more on catchphrases and rambling promos. Now he's just some old man hoping you remember 1987 and not 2015, at least long enough to buy his stupid beer.
Why the fuck is he selling beer in the first place? You can buy that anywhere.

I cannot believe that some people not only believe but WANT jey to come back to bloodline. Listen, I love jey with roman, with jimmy or solo, but 1. that doesn't make any sense (I'm reminding that jey was abused by roman for years, and he finally broke free) 2. will REALLY damage his solo career, 3. he's a top 3 babyface in the company, it doesn't make any sense to kill that.
I understand people who thinks seth might turn on cody (even tho I don't see it, at least not at wrestlemania) but jey????
I have feeling that many bloodline fans dgaf about the storyline, dgaf about characters psychology etc, they just want roman to retain no matter what. WWE already botched jimmy's character with him coming back to roman, solo's character is non existent (I mean, come on), so I only pray for them not to ruin jey's character and not bring him back to roman who abused him mentally and physically for years.
I see jey coming back to roman only, when he'll get his face turn.
I want to see bloodline fans starting to think straight, and not to make conspiracy theories about how jey and seth are a fucking some kind of secret agents, that they love roman so much that they will betray cody for him and roman will break sammartino's record because why not.
And saying that the rock will be side to side with roman, and will never betray him. Will he betray him - yes. Will it be at wrestlemania - I don't think so. You might like him or not, but the rock is THE ROCK, y'all stupid if you think he's alright with having roman "above him".
I think I ended my mini rant, I'm just so tired of people who talk about "the biggest storyline" and at the same time they don't care about this storyline and any other character than roman and sometimes the rock. The bloodline has 5 members now, plus jey and sami back in the day. They all create a storyline, not only roman, jey was so fucking important for this story, but they look at jey, look how he was treated and they still talk about jey betraying cody because he loves roman so much and family is the most important thing, not matter how much he hurted you physically or mentally, for how long he manipulated you.
Sorry for bad grammar, it's not my first language :((

okay i actually do have so many thoughts about dynamite
kyle hesitantly leaving will to follow don was so good and so sad
britt & mercedes is the natural choice for a wembley match, i just hope that britt learned how to wrestle while she was away so mercedes doesn't have to carry her like stat did
I'm glad britt's okay, that shit sounds so awful and scary. her & adam can't catch a break with head injuries
there's an alternate universe out there where britt is a heel and joins the evps and goes by her god given name brittany
hangman's new theme (as far as i can tell from the one time we've heard it) is great and fits him perfectly. the dim yellow lighting is also so perfect for his presentation. i saw someone on twitter say that they should pay for hurt by johnny cash to be his theme for PPVs and i think that'd be so awesome
thank god the cowboy is home. there was a distinct lack of cowboy these past few months
using jeff jarrett's real life investment & babyfaceism in the owen as a way to get hanger more heel heat was fantastic
the crowd doing the swerve's house chants to hanger was so fucked up when you remember they're chanting for the dude that broke into hanger's house and his child's bedroom LMAO that shit was so crazy. he has every right to go batshit after being made the bad guy. babyface swerve & heel hanger ended up being inspired booking
hangmatt i missed you so dearly. the angst is wonderful but i was sad for a moment missing the elite being all together. so much has happened in the past year!
i need kris statlander in ways I'm not allowed to say publicly
stat vs willow was great per usual. honestly if they wanted to run that again at wembley maybe with a stip that'd be awesome
bryan vs pac was great as expected. i did some looking and the only times they've fought 1-on-1 was once in 2007 for roh and once in 2009 for a UK indie promotion
will vs danny was great. usually my dad and i joke that certain people in matches have a -3% chance of winning when we can guess the booking but in this instance i upped danny to a 40%. i feel like he honestly had a shot based on the storyline they're doing with will. even though he didn't win im glad he has a feud now instead of just squashes or run-ins to help other people
it was def time to turn mjf fully heel again. i think his babyface run was great especially during the btybb era but being a heel is his bread and butter so it was def time.
we should all start assuming someone's about to die when they're wearing white. that's how u know the blood is coming
one minute danny is thrusting in will's face and the next he's dead, daddy magic has his eyes ripped out, and mjf is throwing trash at fans while they attempt to fist fight him
I'm so so so excited that the build to all in has started. they have so much time for it i think it's gonna be amazing
mark briscoe declaring for blood & guts made me very happy. he's gonna do some crazy shit. i really wish the acclaimed weren't in it because i cannot stand max caster but sadly that's probably happening. i keep thinking maybe swerve will declare since they hinted it & that's what'll help the bucks convince hanger to join their team. I'm all for them being in forced close proximity and angst happening. god bless
there was a chompy-shaped hole in the heart of this year's shark week episode. i liked him terrorizing commentary last year. speaking of commentary, taz being kicked off commentary should be considered a crime
i think that's all for now

Heard you wanted asks! I got one about my favorite boy, Giorno! How dirty is he done by the fandom (extremely, but I wanna hear what you think)? What are some things fans tend to forget about him?
hi i am answering literal months late but i finally got around to this so here you go. i think the main thing about giorno that people forget is that 1) he isnt a conniving mastermind 2) determination is a huge part of him! 3) vento aureos setting lends to him being seen as evil/ruthless. elaborating ..
theres this general divide that giorno is either an innocent bumbling child who didnt know what he was doing at any point in time OR that he is an evil dio clone who led all of bucciarati's gang to their deaths. its obviously way more nuanced than that, which some people can agree on.. but first of all. giorno does make some decisions that seem ruthless or extreme, like with polpo or cioccolata, but in my opinion some of it is just that jojo as a comic is ruthless and extreme, and also (in cases like la squadra) that there really is no alternative option for the story but to kill them, so why not make it flashy? giorno isnt gunning down random civillians here, vento aureo kind of establishes that this is a big gangster turf war and you expect the opposition to die
in cases like polpo: it showcases, albeit dramatically, that giorno is more *determined* than anyone else to get what he wants. its a bit of a meme the way hes screaming at Mista during white album to BE DETERMINED!! but i connect this in my mind to how Gold Experience changes throughout the story; if there is not a way, giorno FORCES that way to happen. losing to babyface? no i'm not. friends are too hurt to keep going? no they're not. bruno is gone? no he's not. giorno showcases this very stubborn attitude and determination for justice that makes him do some pretty extreme shit, but it also contrasts with diavolo in a neat way: diavolo is so terrified of losing any security that he has to confirm victory for himself outwardly, giorno WILL be victorious, it's not a question. that determination is a very JoJo quality to have and i think it lends to him being just as interesting as jonathan or jolyne or jotaro etc..
last nitpick is that people tend to have this like .. "is he more like dio.. or more like jonathan?" debate that i just dont think is relevant to giornos story, sorry.. i think araki had something going with the hair and the poses and the wryyy stand cry but it fell flat for me and i dont think giorno is supposed to be either dio OR jonathan, and it's kind of a silly debate.
this is long as fuck ok last thing under readmore (about post-canon)
of course we dont know what giorno would be like post-canon but in my opinion i think he is really not fit for running the entire mafia or cutting out the drug trade. diavolos weird system worked and dealt with traitors somewhat efficiently (before he tried to kill his daughter in front of one of his underlings COUGH COUGH), and giorno literally being a 10th grader who acts like a DARE program advertisement does not make me super confident in his ability to run the mafia without being overthrown. "ah but GE requiem can root out all the traitors!" how long does that happen before people lose trust or respect for you though? what kind of organization is he even running after taking a sledgehammer to their income?

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart 💕🌸💐🌷🌻
Big Fanart of Faren, my 2019oc and his wrestling friend, Adrian Adonis🌸💐I drew maybe 1 month ago but take long time for writing their stories in English😂😂
Ok I post about Faren’s information already. And this post I’ll mention about one of his wrestling friends, Start with no.1 Adrian Adonis, a good friend/ big brother whose known him since they both was brown hair YoungLion..before go to WWF
*these pics below are low quality, high quality pics are following in Faren’s story end credit*
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/36fbe706d23c8fb70621bcac88970ee8/04daf5f6113d88ee-9b/s540x810/379beb2dc95c75ca6d29cc91cc597c046e8eb282.jpg)
[Faren’s part]
My lovely brothers, Keith Adonis Franke a.k.a Adrian Adonis. He’s one of Raymond and my close friends since before we go to WWF, but reason why I still close with him because we are all obsessed with “Biker lifestyle”/ very long-winded, never stop talking😎 (different from Raymond whose more polite and taciturn / we love dressing as biker but Adonis’ style is better than me lol he spend so much money for this!
Adonis is older than me 7 years, chubby but good-looking/ nice hairstyle/ sassy man and big-mouth…and seems he doesn’t care about his weight that much. In the past we often go everywhere by our big bike/ ride in the same car, but when we both are in WWF we have different role, Adonis is heel but I’m babyface, have different locker room/ everybody has his own friends whose have the same role& same personalities and similar in age.. now we shouldn’t acting like close friend when go outside.
Adonis is funny person/ tough and good worker for someone…and sometimes he’s sassy man and like to act cocky for someone too, and one of these people are Lanny Poffo, one of my the first friends in WWF and Danny Spivey, one of dumbass Mike’s close friend.
I don’t know it can calls “luckily” or not that I’m one of persons whose don’t have any problem with him.. maybe just because we don’t have match to fight together eventhough we have similar style (or gimmick) that about biker. We never have any problem about comparing who is better or who should be owner of biker gimmick, we have many difference in their own way.
The fact that we have different role, we must act in different personality traits sometimes, and because we’re famous wrestlers to some extent , when we go outside we often see some fangirls excited to us and stop to say hi😅
Babyface like me must wave and say hi back to her even though that time I’m in a bad mood/ tired/ hungry or bored😐
But for Adonis when he notices some fangirl say hi,
He just act cold and said “get back in da house! ” . that’s why sometimes I jealous to some heel wrestlers that can be honest with their feelings🫤but at the same time Vince and Pat Patterson doesn’t allow me to have heel role too!
Look at this👇🏻. It’s funny that we both dye our hair to blonde following some “backstage person” ‘s advice (Vince? Pat Patterson? or some bookers? I’m not sure who the hell is owner of these idea)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8efcf1c06acec424572adb9bfd6b1af7/04daf5f6113d88ee-a5/s540x810/38c04f2e5de529f6d31e5e05a3bc9b4ab4776325.jpg)
(Umm🫤idk I can call it’s just “advice” or not !?… I think I should use this word instead, “wanting” 🤔 I mean.. if some wrestlers don’t abide by the plans of boss’ idea , We can‘t know about our fate (wrestling role) in the future. They make you shine but they can ruined you also. Me/ Adonis and Dino Bravo are one of the people who agreed to dye our hair to blonde following their advise inevitably
Adonis must dye his hair bc he has gay gimmick of flower shop. Man.. he gain so much weight! Nobody can stop him! Ok I know that this guy is reckless, my I just can’t believe he can be reckless in this way too! 💀
I must dye my hair bc some backstage guy told me to “being more American”. Everyone knew I was the son of famous Hawaiian wrestlers “Ailani Kamealoha”, I have brown hair like my dad , but someone tried to change my identity, make wrestling fans forget everything whose son I am and where did I come from. Now I have become an American biker from Texas USA not Honolulu..I only talk about the biker lifestyle, dressing fashionably, Do not mention anything related to Hawaii or mention to my father who was a Hawaiian warrior.
Moreover, sometimes I have to act flirty, even though in fact I’m like my dad…clumsy and not good at flirting at all , I am not allowed to say that I have 3 children too🤥(yeah I’m jealous a little bit when my senior, Tito bring his 3sons and wife to WWF show)
Ok, back to Adonis. I want to share one of He has ever buy Pepsi for me during we are fixing a big bike(he often go out and back with some snacks).. but that time I keep that Pepsi can in my bag before bring it to hometown in Texas together and forget it in my house, and I wasn’t go back to my house for a few year after that. And not many months later, Adonis left WWF and goes to AWA and I’ve never saw him again.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/89fafe8a042d914d3b948c2f7e3415f4/04daf5f6113d88ee-63/s540x810/80b0dcf93aaba6d8bb6daacabd139f59d79fecf8.jpg)
Believe or not.. until this day in 2024 I still keep that can in my shelf that full of 80-90s stuffs. Seiji, my son doesn’t know anything often ask me to throw it in garbage because it’s expire food but I stop him😑
ok I accept the truth that I have some “old man habits” whose like to collect little nonsense things not only about biker stuffs. But I can’t help it! 🤷🏻this is the last stuff that my close friend gave it to me.
Stories between me and Adonis are just a short part of my whole career story, he passed away from car accident in 1988. Eventough we’re not close that much after we’re in WWF because we have their own friends/ own roles but I can’t refuse that Adonis is good brother for me and my fond memories include Adrian as one of them. He’s gone too fast, that’s the reason why I feel like…I still have unresolved issues and still not used to accept that he’s gone to somewhere. I still imagine if we both are 60 years old men, have white hair, sit together, drink some beer and share crazy journey of our wrestling career. I love you my brother, tell wrestling friends up there I said hi

Match Study.
Watching Tape.
Tape Study.
All professional wrestlers should be watching matches from different eras. Different regions. Different promotions.
And not just as a fan but as a professional.
NFL Quarterbacks study tape of the opposing defenses for that upcoming week's game. And they watch a single play over and over and over.
Professional wrestlers should study just as hard.
Don't simply watch the current week's episode of WWE or your favorite product. Watch stuff on-line. Youtube. The Network. DVDs. Old VHS tapes. Whatever.
And don't simply watch it once. Study it. And I mean REALLY study it.
I always recommend to students to watch each match, at a minimum, of 6 times.
1) Watch it as a fan. Get pulled into the story. Full experience.
2) Watch it again but this time with the sound off.
3) Watch just the babyface.
4) Watch just the heel.
5) Watch just the referee.
6) Watch just the footwork.
You will notice something new every time. I just about guarantee it. A new way to move, a technique, a reaction, a sell, etc.
There are other methods as well but this is what I recommend.
And of course, take notes. Write things down in your pro wrestling notebook so you can go back at a later time and review the info.
Treat professional wrestling like a career, and the chances of it actually being one increases.

The New Kids on the Block
Speculations about new characters on The Rookie and Brilliant Minds.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/36ea50e0dc7ea9f56d8e813497429608/8982cc11bf44a1bf-35/s500x750/77b006ab4846c6efa9c98a54e9fb47e00db786a6.jpg)
Officer Aaron Thorsen (played by Tru Valentino).
Why did Tru Valentino leave The Rookie? The official statement is because of "creative decission made by the writers". A reason so cliché which had made some fans speculated that the actual reason was racially biased. I disagree. The fact that one of his replacement, Deric Augustine, is black, should immediately counter that speculation. My guess is that money was the actual reason. Valentino had been with the show for 3 seasons (S4 to S6). Perhaps, it was the time for his contract renewal. The decision makers of the show might not agree about his asking raise, so they let him go. The way they hired two actors to replace him seems to show that they could get two equally good actors with about the same cost.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/6f1cb9ee9c707038c0ef186bf746d6bb/8982cc11bf44a1bf-0d/s540x810/b8b3cd0df47c6ffd9653bcfeaea9cde55318fd7c.jpg)

Left: Officer Seth Ridley (played by Patrick Keleher). Right: Officer Miles Penn (played by Deric Augustine).
The next question is what's in store for Officer Aaron Thorsen's replacements, Officer Miles Penn (played by Deric Augustine) and Officer Seth Ridley (played by Patrick Keleher)? Having two new rookies is a good plot device for Chenford's competition storyline. However, it could be a waste of money in the long run. Thus, one of them probably had to go by the end of the season. But which one?
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/800362c6105104bd1869432458b8fe4b/8982cc11bf44a1bf-06/s540x810/77919680ca4898b6ba1b5b069d276c66cc399d41.jpg)
Officer Miles Penn (played by Deric Augustine).
Considering the blatant efforts of various TV shows to fulfill the racial diversity quota (not that it is a bad thing), it's safe to predict that Miles Penn might be the one who'd stay. Seth Ridley could be transferred to a different station, resigning, turned villain, or even killed on the job (God, I hope not 🤞, but it would be good for drama!). After what happened with Travis Montgomery of Station 19, Buddie (Buck/Eddie) & Tommy Kinard of 9-1-1, and Nandermo of What We Do in the Shadows, I try to learn the pattern and predict what TV shows would do, in regards with racial and queer/gender diversity. If possible (frankly, I don't know how), I don't want to be too attached to characters or couples who would not last until the end of the show.
youtube
It's the same reason why I don't want to be too attached to the new lesbian couple in Brilliant Minds, Dr. Dana Dang & Katie Rodriguez. Brilliant Minds has already had one main queer couple, Wolfnichols, who is shown-off front and center. Both Dr. Oliver Wolf and Dr. Josh Nichols are main casts. They most likely wouldn't go anywhere until the show ended. Katie Rodriguez is only a side character so far. Considering what happened with queer couples in other shows, I don't think Dana & Katie's romance would last long.

Officer Seth Ridley (played by Patrick Keleher).
Back to the new rookies, it would be ashamed to lose Seth Ridley, though. I'm already fond of his big-eyed babyface and dimpled smile. However, it's better safe than sorry, so I plan to manage my expectation somehow. I don't want to get my heart broken again by a damn TV show!

Photos - BritWresPics
This was an excellent show from the premier BritWres promotion, that featured great action up and down the card, a whole load of good, nothing bad, and the best match of the year so far.
Things kicked off with a fun, but unspectacular Scramble match, that had the surprise inclusions of Shigehiro Irie and AEW's Global champ, Orange Cassidy, who got a huge pop and put his belt on the line here. Which left the finish in no doubt really. This only went 8 minutes, and was essentially just a collection of high spots, and many of the guys didn't do much. I'm a fan of Big Shig, but honestly, he might as well not have been here as his contributions came to one spot. Same with Cassidy to be fair, he was AWOL most of this thing, selling a lowblow from Holliday, but it was still fun stuff. Orange pinned Holliday with the Orange Punch to retain. The RevPro Women's Title was on the line next. This was another good match, but I wasn't a massive fan of the finish, which brought it down slightly for me. Despite seemingly having the match won, Reed inexplicably went to use Dani's title belt, but payed for it as she ate an Elevated German into the ring and a Luna Landing for the champion to retain in 9:44. Alex Windsor Jumped Luna after the match and beat her down and dragged her around with a chain, which one would presume is leading to a dog collar match.
The NJPW Dojo graduates Yuto Nakashima and Oskar Leube took on heel duo Mark Trew and Kieron Lacey in a really good little traditional tag bout next. The heels worked over stocky babyface Yuto, before he made the hot tag to his Germanic Skyscraper of a tag partner, who ran wild and they bumped around like crazy for him. After taking Lacey out with a verion of Total Elimination, Leube caught a Trew crossbody attempt, and deadlifted him onto his shoulders, allowing Nakashima to come off the second rope with a jumping knee, and Oskar hit a massive multiple rotation F-5 for the win at 9:25. They announced a UK Fantasticamania show for May 19th before the next match, which was an excellent slugfest between Luke Jacobs and JJ Gale. This was grand hard-hitting violence, with both guys hitting forearms, kicks and suplexes. After Jacobs caught Gale's leg from a roundkick attempt, he captured his arm too and hit a sickening headbutt. JJ scored a nearfall with a flash small package, then got another super close nearfall with his Gale Force spinning Oscutter as the crowd went crazy. Gale missed a 450, before eating a serious of stiff Lariats from Jacobs, which lead to Luke scoring the win at 17:02 with a Steiner Screwdriver. Great stuff here, and I hope we see more from both guys at the top of the card in 2024. Jacobs vowed to win the Revolution Rumble in the post match.
Mustafa Ali took on Robbie X in a very good flippity spot fest next. This was all-action, with a non-stop stream of flying and springboard moves. The finish came when both guys fought in the top, Ali hit a Sunsetbomb off the top, then a match winning 450 Splash to win at the 13:08 mark. Ali looked super happy to be here, and put on a good showing, so I'm under no doubt that he'll do great in New Japan and the Indys, after years of being in wrestling purgatory. Shingo took on Trent Seven next in a match that was made less than 24 hours before they came through the curtain. Originally Takagi was to take on Gabe Kidd (which I would have been all in on as that sounds awesome), but Kidd suffered an undisclosed injurey in the insane Cage Match he was in in Osaka. If I were a betting man though, I'd say it was likely a concussion from that insanely stiff Henare slap he took near the end, not to mention the crazy chairshots. This was ultimately a very decent match, but at 21:58, it was way too long, and it was another of those matches where too much stuff was kicked out of. There was no need to work this like it was a Tokyo Dome main event; Shingo kicked out of a Pump Handle Emerald Flowsion, Trent kicked out of a sitout Burning Hammer, Takagi kicked out of a middle rope Emerald Flowsion, then a short piledriver, Shingo then escaped a Seven Star Lariat and hit a Last of The Dragon... but after a delayed cover Trent kicked out(!). Seven kicked at one from a Sliding Bomber, but ate a few more Pumping Bombers to finally allow Shingo to win. This would likely have been great if it was around 14 minutes, but it outstayed it's welcome a little and they just kicked out of way too much for no reason.
Next up, Anthony Ogogo defeated RKJ in what was by far the weakest match of the night. This was perfectly fine, nothing was bad, the crowd were respectably hot, and RKJ tried his damndest to have a good match, but this ultimately didn't click. Former Olympic Boxer Ogogo scored the win at 13:30 with two great looking punches. Which were the best looking things he'd done all match. What followed was an excellent technical wrestling match, as Zack Sabre Jr. took on Connor Mills, which was my second favourite of the night. This featured exemplary mat work, as both guys exchanged submission holds, with Mills aggressively working over the left leg, and Zack focussing on the left arm. After both failed to tap the other out, frustrations flared and this broke down into a nasty strike battle, with some seriously stiff slaps back and forth. In the end, after Mills kicked out of a Zack Driver, Sabre Jr. turned up the pace and put the younger wrestler away after a series of PK's at the 21:25 mark. Great, great stuff.
Then the Main Event, which was Will Ospreay's RevPro swan song before going fulltime with AEW, and was one of the best matches you'll ever see. I loved their match at High Stakes 2022, but this one was considerably better than that classic, with off the charts drama, heat, storytelling and big fight feel. This was outstanding. The stipulations were that there were no referee stoppages allowed, but if Amira threw in the towel (like she did in their last match), then Oku would lose the title, and Ospreay threw the bloody towel from the forst match at her to use. The crowd were white hot from the off, and neber cooled down once during this epic battle. There was way too much to reasonably recap here, but everything was great. Oku worked over Will's knee in preperation of the Half Crab, but came up bloody from going into the ringpost. Ospreay worked him over, taunting Amira to throw the towel, but she responded by spitting on him, which Ospreay responded by kicking her into the guardrail to loud boos. Oku went crazy with a fiery comeback that included hitting the old El Generico Tornado DDT through the ropes to the floor, which Ospreay juiced from, then locked on the most dramatic Figure Four since Muto/Takada, but Ospreay made the ropes. Will hot the Oscutter for a nearfall, and Oku hit a reverse rana which spiked Ospreay, but as he celebrated, Ospreay popped up and hit a Hidden Blade to the back of the head for the double down. Oku then turned a Storm Breaker attempt into a package tombstone, but missed a Frog Splash. He landed on his feet though and hit Ospreay with his own Hidden Blade. In a callback to their 2022 match, Oku started hitting numerous Hidden Blades, but pulled Ospreay up at two every pin attempt. He tried another but The Ariel Assassin countered with the real deal Hidden Blade. Ospreay hit the flip out of a clothesline into a powerbomb spot, then transitioned into a Styles Clash for a near fall. Amira is dragged into the ring and she pushes Oku out of the way of a Hidden Blade, taking the move herself, leading to Ospreay pushing her unconscious body out of the ring. Oku rolls through another Hidden Blade into the Half Crab, but as he leans back into the bridge, Ospreay pulls him out of it, flips him over and hits a devastating Tiger Driver 91, another Hidden Blade and finally the Storm Breaker, but Oku kicks out at 2.9999, which blows the roof off the National Sports Centre. Oku then turns a Tombstone attempt into a Sega Mega Driver, in tribute to Mad Kurt, finally hits the Frog Splash to the back, goes back up and hits a second to the front, but Ospreay kicks out at the last minute. As he does, Oku grabbed his leg and turned it into the Half Crab as the fans went crazy. Ospreay fought to the ropes, but a revived Amira flipped him off, Oku pulled him to the centre, bridges back, and Ospreay finally tapped at the 47:12 mark, giving Oku the biggest win of his career. This was all brilliant.
In the post match, Ospreay handed Oku the title, symbolically passing the torch, Oku offered the handshake, which was expected, and Ospreay cut an emotional promo to say goodbye to a scene he's invested so much into. He thanked New Japan and RevPro, as well as the fans, for all they've done for him, and he promised his best stuff was still to come. He then said teary fairwells, before nemsis Zack Sabre Jr. appeared at the curtain to give him a hug and a kiss. All in all, this was an excellent show that's well worth checking.

Homestuck^2 sucked because none of the trolls actually aged like they were supposed to. Like the humans aged (even though they're MEANT to be immortal and dont give me they're mentally 40+ JOHN NO LONGER FITS IN HIS GOD TIER SUIT HE HAS AGED) but we don't ever see the natural development of the trolls.
Vriska, Aradia and Sollux I can kinda give leeway since they've went through timelines and dreambubbles and double death and half death and yada yada those 3 are kinda fucked up timeline wise so I kinda see why they never aged.
But Terezi, Karkat and Gamzee? No fucking excuse.
Kanaya is a grey area however cause you know she's "Kanaya The Vampire Fashion Queen" but like no credible sources I can find SAY anything about age when it comes to rainbow drinkers and I can't find out if The Dolorosa was actually a rainbow drinker so we don't have a naturally lived rainbow drinker example so I'm just gonna have to assume Kanaya ages like a regular troll.
However, the other 3 have no right to not be ageing. For example, I'm gonna pull up a image of Commander Vantas here:
It's hard to tell with Cmdr. Vantas because THE ONLY TIME WE SEE HIS FACE IS IN HERO MODE OR IN A LIGHTING AND SITTING DOWN anyways. But with what we are given with Cmdr. Vantas he DOES in fact give signs he has aged, not as much as he should of, by this point he should have gotten a good bit taller than the humans and have completely red eyes, but it's better than THIS
what the fuck. Meat Karkat SHOWS NO SIGNS OF AGING AT ALL HE LOOKS THE EXACT SAME AS HE DID WHEN HE WAS 13 WHEN HE IS 20 AT BARE MINIMUM and you may think im overreacting, cause obviously its just his symbolic sprite he doesn't ACTUALLY look like that
You buffoon, you oaf take at look at this. HE ISN'T AGING IN THE SLIGHTEST IN MEAT.
Other than artstyle and change of clothes he looks the fucking same, at this point in HS^2 he should be looking like The Signless but he doesn't even look older than Kankri. But maybe Karkat is a bad example maybe the poor guy has a case of eternal babyface and he's just cursed to look 13 forever.
Let's take a look at Gamzee instead.
There's so little images I could find off sight of Gamzee in hs^2 and I did NOT want to be on that buggy ass website for long so this is the best you're getting. As expected, Gamzee ALSO has a case of chronic babyface and it's especially egregious as he's the descendant of THE GRAND HIGHBLOOD.
Tbh this is actually kinda a good image since we can semi eye measure Vrissy and Gamzee. Of which Gamzee seems imo taller than Vrissy, not in massive hulking beast like GHB but like and adult man to a 15 year old, which would be normal and expected IF HE WASN'T AGAIN THE DESCENDANT OF THE GRAND HIGHBLOOD.
That guy is literally known in fandom for 2 things, being pissed off and being huge, again Gamzee follows the trend of not having the adult troll characteristics of dark grey skin and whilst his horns are red due to being hero mode and we can't see his eyes i think we can assume he probably doesn't have some nice lavender lookers on him.
And there is a reason why I've spent the last 1 or 2 hour complaining about obtuse homestuck lore and it's simple it shows a lack of care.
It shows that Homestuck^2 on the surface is a mediocre at best adaptation of Homestuck but as soon as the thin surface layer is scrapped away, it shows a hollow project, it shows a project that generally proves itself to be a homestuck thing but it doesn't show passion, I could probably right now find you any HS fan and ask them what makes adult trolls different to young trolls and they could probably easily tell me how and why. So why couldn't a whole team of people attempt at the very least, a version like that?
Its little things like the trolls not aging/aging like humans to the damn table to the lack of acknowledgement for already accepted and semi canonised reps of queer culture in favour for rep that punches down to the outright ridiculous swivels in personality that's prove to me at least that HSE and HS^2 were dead on arrival.

Swerve Strickland vs. Adam Page - This is billed as a lights out steel cage match. So a metal frame will be set up around the ring to surround it with chain link fencing. The only way to win the match will be by pinfall or submission--other than that, anything goes. The "lights out" part just refers to an old tradition where they'd briefly turn out the lights to mark the "official" end of the show, and then do an "unsanctioned" match where the promotion responsible for what the wrestlers do to one another. (Also, the match won't count on AEW's win-loss records, so the loser often tries to act like it didn't happen, which makes it hard for this type of match to really settle anything.)
These two began feuding on September 6, 2023. I was going to recap the entire violent history of the feud, but in the end it's real real simple. On October 25, Strickland broke into Page's house, and cut a promo while standing in front of the crib of Page's infant son. Earlier this week, Swerve announced he had achieved his lifelong dream of buying his childhood home, so Page broke into the still-vacant house and set it on fire. They hate each other, folks, they really hate each other!
This will be the fourth time these two have met one-on-one; Swerve currently leads the series at 2-0-1. Page has never been able top beat Strickland, who has never been able to win without interference. Originally Hangman was the babyface and Swerve was obviously the heel, but in February they did a double turn on the premise that Swerve is cool as hell and Page is a sore loser. After that, Strickland enjoyed great success as a world champion while Hangman fell into frustration, obsession, and rage.
So I think we all know these two are going to go fucking sickhouse on each other, right? Like, the Texas death match last year was super epic, and they have to find a way to top that. I was sorry I didn't get to see that one in person, but now they're running it back and I have a ticket and I'm so excited. I haven't even thought about who should win or lose, because I'm too busy wondering if they'll try to use fire during the match. The real winners are the fans sickos!
Bryan Danielson vs. Jack Perry - Perry is challenging for the AEW men's world title, but his AEW TNT championship is not at stake. Danielson vowed to never wrestle again unless he captured the world title on August 25. Now that he has it, he's still planning to retire from full-time competition, but not until he loses the belt. In effect, his career is on the line yet again in this match.
Whoever prevails here will presumably go on to defend against Darby Allin, who has a title shot scheduled for September 25. The x-factor in the world title picture, of course, is Christian Cage, who has a contract for a title shot whenever he chooses. In theory Cage could run in right after this match, sneak-attack the winner, and exercise his contract right then and there. I don't expect that to happen, but the threat of it will be looming for the foreseeable future.
I don't really see Bryan losing the title this quickly, unless his neck is really bad and he needs surgery imminently. And if that was the case, I don't think AEW would pick Perry to get the rub of taking his title and retiring him. It'd be an exciting upset, so I wouldn't mind if it happened. But my prediction is that this just a basic win for Danielson on his way to more competitive challengers.
Will Ospreay vs. PAC - Pac earned a shot at the AEW international title on July 10, but he ended up having to wait for Ospreay to lose the title to MJF and win it back at Wembley Stadium. This whole matchup is about two British guys and how they both came up through the British indies and how Ospreay's British peers said he'd never be as good as Pac. And yet, instead of doing the match in London, we're doing it in a real city, Chicago Hoffman Estates. Hope you limeys enjoy watching this total banger at 2am over smack barm pea wet. I'm sure Ospreay will retain and celebrate with a delicious slice of Lou Malnati's.
MJF vs. Daniel Garcia - On July 3, MJF viciously attacked Garcia with a tombstone piledriver off the middle rope, ending a year-long run as an unlikely but surprisingly effective babyface. Garcia sat out selling terrible injuries until August 25, when he returned to cost Max the win against Ospreay at Wembley. Ospreay won the match by finally using the dreaded "tiger driver '91," which essentially dropped Max on the back of his own neck. So in effect both guys are looking for revenge after sustaining severe (fake!) neck injuries.
It feels like big things are in store for Garcia, and I think he absolutely needs to get at least one with out of this feud. I don't necessarily think the win has to be in this match (although I would like that to happen). Something tells me nothing will be settled here, so my prediction is they'll either brawl until the match is thrown out, or Max will get a cheap win and run for the hills.
Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander - Nightingale is the CMLL women's world champion, but the title is not on the line, apparently because CMLL would not sanction the rules Willow chose. She earned the right to name the stipulations on August 25, and decided on a Chicago street fight. This just means the match can't end by disqualification or count-out, so the wrestlers can brawl all over the place with whatever weapons they can get their hands on.
Kris turned on Willow back in April, which feels like it was so long ago I almost forgot they had ever been friends in the first place. I would be very happy if this would end the feud so both ladies could move on to new business. As for the match, the AEW women's roster appears to relish opportunities to do deathmatch spots, so I'm sure these two will pull out all the stops (although being on the same show as Hangman-Swerve and MJF-Garcia may cast a long shadow over this particular blood feud).
Seems to me the winner should be in line for an AEW title shot, and right now both of the champions are heels, so that seems to favor Willow getting the win.
Mercedes Mone vs. Hikaru Shida - Mone's AEW TBS championship is on the line, but her STRONG women's title is not. Mone's amazonian enforcer Kamille is barred from ringside to prevent her from interfering, which is wrestlespeak for "she will run in anyway while the referee is distracted, or someone else will run in."
Shida has been going through some things lately, where she's frustrated about the recent trajectory of her career. I don't see this leading to a title win here; it feels much more like she's going to snap and turn heel, but not yet. So I'd say chances are real good Mone will retain.
Kazuchika Okada vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Konosuke Takeshita - This is a four-way match for Okada's AEW continental title. Mark Briscoe is the ROH men's world champion, but his title isn't up for grabs. The first man to score a fall on any opponent will win the match and Okada's gold.
This feels like a cheap way to get all four of these guys on the show. Which is a little strange, since they've been setting up Cassidy vs. Chris Jericho, and I'm surprised they didn't simply book that match here. The action in this match should be hot, but I never expect a satisfying, definitive resolution in a three-way or four-way match. Okada is bound to retain, and since they probably want to protect all his challengers, I bet Jericho's crew will run in to make sure Orange gets pinned.
Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta - The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt) are defending the AEW tag team title. This feels kind of thrown together at the last minute, although it's been thrown together well, since Yuta pinned Nick last night in an eight-man tag match. Claudio and Wheeler are already two of the trios champions, so I don't think a title change makes much sense here. This is probably just a placeholder so the Bucks can retain on their way to a more important feud, maybe against Max Caster and Anthony Bowens.
Max Caster & Anthony Bowens vs. Bronson & Boulder - This is scheduled for the pre-show. I guess this is just meant to be an easy win for the Acclaimed (Caster and Bowens). I mean, I think the Iron Savages are pretty cool, but they're basically jobbers. I'm sure the match will be fun because I'm pretty sure I've seen it already at last five times. The Acclaimed should win.
Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara & Hologram vs. Tony Nese & Ari Daivari & Josh Woods - This is also on the pre-show. Dustin won the ROH trios title a few weeks ago alongside Marshall and Ross Von Erich, and then he won the ROH tag title with Guevara. Now Dustin is doing trios matches with Sammy and Hologram, for some reason, which seems like it should bother the Von Erichs. The Premiere Athletes (Nese, Daivari, and Woods) are a decent little faction but they're mainly used as jobbers to the stars. Hologram is undefeated in AEW and I don't expect that to change tonight.
Juice Robinson & Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn vs. Evil Uno & John Silver & Alex Reynolds - Another trios match on the pre-show. Last night, the Bang Bang Gang (Juice's team) did a backstage segment last night with Cage of Agony, and Dark Order (Uno's team) lost to Dustin/Sammy/Hologram. I don't know how those two things set up this match, of all things. Oh well, I am very into the idea of Juice Robinson and John Silver having a "biggest horny weirdo" contest. I assume the idea is for Cage of Agony to maybe run in or something, but who the hell knows. I really dig both of these teams, but the Bang Bang Gang clearly has to win.
Roderick Strong & Matt Taven & Mike Bennett vs. Dante Martin & Darius Martin & Action Andretti vs. Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty & The Beast Mortos - Still another trios match on the pre-show. I don't mind showcasing the depth of the trios division, although that depth would be more convincing if Mortos wasn't randomly paired up with Shane Taylor Promotions. This is a three-way trios match, so I'm not even sure how many people can be in the ring at any given time, or how tags work, because it'll probably break down very quickly into a lot of fun flippy spots and dives. They've been repackaging Top Flight (Dante and Darius) and their friends with a passenger airline crew gimmick, which is somehow not as cringe as it sounds. So I'm kinda leaning towards Top Flight's team to get the win, but I suppose one of the heel teams could steal a pin too.

OFFTHEWOP is a phrase that carries multiple meanings, embodying the hustle and grind. It’s synonymous with "off the muscle" or "off the strength," representing hard work and determination. It also nods to "off the block," symbolizing how we’ve transitioned from the streets to the industry, while still making money from the block. Additionally, it can mean "off the phone," highlighting the digital hustle. And with "wop" being old slang for a lot of money, OFFTHEWOP is all about turning hustle into wealth.

i find it annoying when fans overlook tons of other creatives - songwriters, producers, set designers, concept artists - and pretend their faves did it all on their own and that it all came from their minds. it’s very unlikely that it did, most idols have no idea how to make a good music videos bit might have ideas about the concept or some elements here and there. and what prompted this is jaehyun’s fans acting like jae is the one and only brain behind his solo when roses has multiple people credited both for lyrics and the composition, and dandelion has multiple composers. fans happily omit that fact. jae also worked with a trendy team for the videos who know what they’re doing. and the networking with r&b producers is sm’s a&r’s doing. it takes a village to make an album, and it’s a bit sad that fans don’t appreciate that for the sake of making their bias look better.
I feel you anon, truly. It's why I defend SM. It's not the company as an agency I care for, it's the staff who puts in effort and sleep as little as the idols, and are only noticed, when they make mistakes.
Yes, even if an idol acts as a producer (Tae, Do), there are still areas they have little say in simply because they know little about the subject. And, of course, their ideas are developed further and made into reality by the staff.
Such fans not only want to elevate their bias by downplaying the efforts of others, they are outright shallow in thinking process themselves. They don't/can't think of the larger picture, see layers behind the surface. They get the end results and make no connections between things or see cause to effect.
Speaking of set designers. Either SM found a new company or just allocated it to Wish, but their stages on music shows were super. They even had a working conveyor belt at one point that brought in parcels for Songbird promotion.
Heh, yes, fans will write at length how crazy it is that Babyface was involved on Jae's record but forget to mention that it was SM's doing, Jaehyun has nothing with it (except saying he likes the old sound and want that direction).
One of the writers of "Roses" mentioned that the song was done during a songwriter camp at SM at 1 a.m. The team recorded vocals back then for the demo, some made it to the final recording. Jae wasn't there (he is listed though, so he contribured in some way).
As far as it's known, only Kun participates in songwriter camps. And he has his own studio for composing at SM. Now Mark set up his own booth as well. SM does help the new idols to become involved in writing/composing, which is a big plus of the company. Those who want are taught skills (Tae and Mark learnt how to write rap), given advice and projects to train (Tae produced Amino acid OST, 127's solos for the Link), they can submit their songs anonymously to the panel (Do said his previous attempts at writing were rejected, but Beginning got the green light).

Open The Introduction To Dragongate by Scar The Skelly [TBA DUDES ROCK UNIT]
I wasn't not gonna include this unit, as it's basically official...without actually being official.
Presentation Notes:
TBA Dudes Rock Unit
May hear it get referred to by a variety of names, including and not limited to: Old Class, Veteran Army, Old Men Unit, etc.
Yamato
Omniscient and omnipotent is sometimes just shortened down to ‘The Almighty.’
Yamato now is more good than bad. But he’s not a pure babyface. He’s not always rule fairing, he can be quite cruel, and he brings a hand mirror with him to admire his face. But he still has a good moral compass for the most part and is usually just rough to his juniors to try to spur on their improvement.
As a heel, he’s just a complete gremlin.
‘Standing with his Yamato spirit’ is from his iconic theme song, which begins with “I’M STANDING HERE WITH MY YAMATO SPIRIT!”
Yes, this is the Yamato who is brothers?? With Hiromu Takahashi.
Once again, not a belt Yamato is holding, not much I can do here soz.
Susumu Yokosuka
M2 because there were 2 Mochizuki's and just 1 K because of Kanda. M2K is one of the most iconic units in Toryumon AND Dragongate, with it having a couple different iterations. The most recent was M3K, which only very recently disbanded.
Quick story of JIMMYZ. So, Susumu and Kagetora (who we will meet in a few slides time) lost a match where their names were on the line. If they lost, they had to change their names to Jimmy Susumu and Jimmy Kagetora. Now, Jimmy is of course the English name we know, but it does a double meaning as Jimi in Japanese means simple or plain. So, Susumu and Kagetora were now losers whose names had to be changed to what amounts to Simple Susumu and Plain Kagetora. Which, isn’t great for a wrestler. But Susumu and Kagetora took it in stride and turned it into a good thing, to the point where other people would join the unit and change their names to include Jimmy in there somewhere.
Susumu has his own pet cats and dotes on the Dojo kitties. Susumu makes face masks and scrunchies to sell at shows and repairs damaged gear. He posts all about this on his twitter @ ssm_yokosuka046
Naruki Doi
One of his family members was a player for the Yomiuri Giants, which is where the baseball gimmick came from.
Masato Yoshino is a very notable name in Dragongate, he’s since retired and now works for GLEAT. Possibly the fastest man in the wrestling industry at one point and one of the top guys throughout the 2000s and into the 2010s before injuries began to pull him up, and he had to retire.
Doi can be quite mean, getting up fans in the crowd for not cheering for him and refusing to hug Dragon Kid. He’s a bitchy old man who is not afraid to throw some shade. Never try to get into a promo battle with him, he will go for the throat.
Also known as Doi-chan or Doi-Doi, with the former being used by Dragon Kid.
Dragon Kid
If you like religious imagery and references in your wrestling boy, do I have the wrestler for you.
