Întâi au plecat să facă rost de bani. Cei mai mulți aveau copii la care se uitau cu neputința adultului care a ieșit din școli incapabil să afle esențialul – cum faci să te întorci seara acasă mulțumit.

Au plecat de unii singuri și s-au tras unii după alții – frați, surori, părinți, copii – pe măsură ce acasă își pierdeau speranța.

Apoi și-au găsit alte și alte motive să plece sau să se stabilească definitiv în România de dincolo.

Îi cunoaștem azi pe cei rămași acasă. Le-am propus să ne gândim împreună cum ar trebui să ne raportăm onest la românii care au ales o altă țară.

Când țările caută să-și crească produsul intern brut, oamenii caută ceva mai complicat de atât – își caută fericirea. Uneori, acel echilibru fragil între mulțumire și dor.

Fără s-o știe, o țară face zilnic un troc cu cetățenii săi – oamenii îi dau forța și inteligența lor, o fac o mașinărie de bani pentru bunăstare, statul le dă la schimb promisiunea fericirii – sănătate, libertate, educație. Sau… așa ar trebui.

Ștefan are 14 ani și a trăit în România de dincoace doar trei. Sunt anii în care mamei lui, educatoare în București, nu-i ajungeau banii nici să-și plătească chiria. Nicoleta și-a făcut într-o zi bagajul de Italia, cu gândul să-și ia în câteva luni și copilul. Pentru Ștefan au fost cele mai grele opt luni, iar Oana, mătușa lui, și le amintește încă bine: „Primul care a venit acasă, după un an și două luni, a fost tatăl lui Ștefi. Îi adusese o mașină foarte, foarte mare, din aceea cu telecomandă în care putea să se urce, să meargă ghidat de părinte și țin minte că nici nu s-a uitat la mașina aceea, n-a vrut să stea nici la el în brațe. Și atunci și-au dat seama ai mei că ar fi chiar o tragedie să rămână în țară și a trebuit să facă imposibilul și să îl ia și pe el.”

Înainte de a fi jurnalist, Oana Botezatu e sora, e mătușa lor, a celor din România de dincolo pe care îi numește simplu „ai mei”. Din patru copii ai aceleiași familii, e ultimul rămas în România de dincoace.

Ai ei se simt, cumva, norocoși. S-au regăsit și au început o viață nouă. În care Ștefan are un frate. Pe Alex.

„Aproape că se văd două țări în fiecare dintre ei. Ștefan lasă de la el foarte mult, iar Alex este foarte bătăios, nu concepe nicio nedreptate. Cumva, zici că e România care își plecă mereu capul și orice altă țară care n-ar accepta să i se întâmple ceva injust”, spune Oana.

Alți doi frați își vorbesc în românește în campusul din Southampton. Andreas și Eric Zimmermann au copilărit la Botoșani. După liceu, au ales Universitatea din Marea Britanie pentru că știau că pot mai mult.

Despre visul lui Andreas – fost olimpic național la fizică, azi doctorand, tatăl lui, Alfred Zimmermann, a aflat dintr-un interviu într-un ziar local.

„Evident, a urmat o discuție și a fost foarte pragmatică – «De ce?». Răspunsul a fost atât de natural încât n-am putut să pun altă întrebare mai departe – «Păi nu vezi ce e aici?»”, poveștește Alfred.

După doi ani, Eric l-a urmat. Acum e student la Cibernetică, la Southampton.

„A plecat în primul rând motivat la ce a văzut la cel mare, la Andreas. A văzut cum se face școala acolo, cum se pune problema, ce deschideri sunt, ce oferte de muncă și evident, decizia mi s-a părut ușor de luat”, spune tatăl lor.

În ultimii 30 de ani au dispărut niște granițe și s-au ridicat altele. Aici, Alfred îi întreabă din când în când pe ai luni dacă se mai întorc. Oana știe deja.

Alfred Zimmermann: „Mi-au spus că s-ar întoarce și mâine, dacă educația s-ar face cu responsabilitate, dacă sănătatea s-ar face cu respect, dacă politica ar fi făcută cu decență, administrația cu logică.”

Oana Botezatu: „Ei nu mai pot fi răzgândiți, dar poate copiii lor vor putea fi răzgândiți. Însă trebuie ca generația noastră sau poate copiii mei să se zbată mai mult decât au făcut-o părinții nooștri.”

România de dincolo are un PIB mai mare decât cea de acasă, forță de muncă – și cu și fără calificări – și are speranță. România de aici ar chema-o înapoi, dar nu știe cum să-i ofere esențialul – sănătate, libertate, educație. Adică fericirea intern brută, în schimbul vieții lor.

Cine sunt cei care pleacă – „Sunt oameni cu suflet care au plecat de nevoie. Sunt bucăți din sufletul meu”

Sunt numai 20 de ani la mijloc, anii în care România a pierdut educatoare, studenți, zidari, salahori, dar ei au câștigat o viață nouă.

Politicieni și comentatori i-au amestecat de-a valma. Le-au spus când „prost crescuți”, „vagabonzi”, „oameni fără o cultură a datoriei”, când elite, creiere exportate pe nedrept de alții dinaintea lor. Așa cum le-a dictat-o interesul.

Eu nu pot să vorbesc de rău de ei, chioar dacă n-au studiile doamnei Pippidi, pentru că sunt oameni cu suflet care n-au plecat de proști, au plecat de nevoie. Oameni care acum își permit acolo să trăiască, să-și dea copiii la școală și să aibă bani să îi dea și la tenis sau la înot, ceea ce aici ar fi imposibil. Pentru mine, sunt bucăți din sufletul meu.”

Alfred Zimmermann: „Pot să le spun că sunt niște pionieri. S-au dus acolo, eu le doresc să le fie casa acolo. Au avut curajul acesta pentru că nu s-au mai regăsit aici. Am auzit și eu din acestea – de căpșunari, de salahori. Credeți-mă, vă spun cu mâna pe inimă că am un respect deosebit inclusiv pentru femeile alea despre care se spune că se duc și spală bătrânii. De ce? Au avut demnitatea să nu stea cu mâna întinsă. Pentru asta merită respectul.”

Oana Botezatu: „Mă uit la ei, la rudele mele, la oamenii mei din «mahala», și văd că faptul că au plecat din țară nu înseamnă că s-au rupt de țară. Fiindcă sânge din sângele lor e încă aici, fiindcă aici s-au născut și aici le sunt cele mai multe amintiri. Și optimist este faptul că la protestul diasporei va veni și Ștefi, nepotul meu, care e în vacanță aici, și împreună cu el va veni și Alex.”

DEVELOPING STORY: NORECO II & Skycable goes for the Unexpected Power & Internet Outages in Dumaguete for the Online School Class [#OnlyOnOneNETnews]

DUMAGUETE, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- Two of the services between the NORECO II & Skycable Broadband in Dumaguete City, has often interrupted unexpectedly last Friday night and this Thursday morning on the other day. This happens between the 6:50pm & 6:35pm onwards (Manila local time).

A regional fault of it's 20MVA Substation in Bagacay, as caused by the tripping of a 69KV Transmission Line in Feeder 2. This affects the entire Substation Barangays of Bagacay, Dauin, Pulantubig and Siaton.

The investigation was found as Frankie Labot a.k.a. Raffy Cabristante told exclusively to DYYD-FM 106.3mhz Yes! The Best Dumaguete, as relayed to OneNETnews... The power outage was cause by the busted Substation Auxiliary supply. Feeder 2 and the other substations was restored at 7:30pm (Manila local time), starting from last week ago.

But this week for 2 other days, an unscheduled power interruption has been repeated at 6:36pm last Wednesday night (Manila local time). This was lasted for under 10mins. here in Dumaguete City. Other areas like in Zamboanguita will be delayed to restored until 8:30pm. In a latest Social Media briefing told OneNETnews, there will be a failure of the recloser on a Siaton Substation because of the burned bushing of Phase Charlie.

NORECO II has issued an apology to the public for a serious inconvenience.
