i always used to say that advice that we give other people is the advice that we want to hear, but now i truly believe that we give others the advice that we wish we had gotten in the past. whatever we learned from, whatever happened to us, whatever hurt us, it all comes in this complete circle. we went through all that we went through to bring us here, to this moment, to pass what we learned onto the next one who needs it. that’s what pushes me through, knowing that my growth will help the next ones.

Why do I keep on seeing his point of view on other people's mind and situation?

Habang tumatagal lalo ko naiintindihan why things turned out that way. Alam mo yun? I understand the misery and anger of being left alone but at the same time pati na rin yung frustration and guilt nung nang-iwan. Para tuloy akong nagkakaroon ng virtual talk sa kanya thru other people haha

Nostalgia

It's already 11pm and hindi pa ako nakakapagdinner. Di mo na talaga namamalayan minsan na ang tagal tagal mo nang nagsscroll sa social media. Nafeel ko na ang gutom so I decided na lumabas ng kwarto. Di ko trip yung ulam kaya nagluto nalang ako ng pancit canton.

Then, a nostalgic feeling came by.

I remember those times when we're still working at the office set-up. Everytime na nagugutom ka or kahit trip mo lang mapapaluto ka nalang ng pancit canton using microwave.

Madalas wala lang akong ibang choice kundi magpancit canton kasi walang pera kapag "petsa de peligro", and minsan nagtitipid or nadadala ng pagkakuripot. Kapag sobrang busy tapos tinatamad ka nang bumaba from 7th floor palabas ng bldg para bumili sa katabing robinsons or mini stop, nandiyan ang pancit canton sa locker.

Nakakamiss rin pala yung dating struggle sa pag iisip ng kakainin. The dormer/bedspacer life na napapa-oatmeal nalang ako pag tinatamad lumabas or magluto. Yung kinakain kong hilaw na mangga habang naglalakad pauwi is nakakabusog na rin. Yung iinumin mo nalang yung tubig sa gripo kapag naubusan ka ng mineral water kasi nakalimutan mong bumili sa grocery.

Yep, hindi ideal yung life ko na yon. Pero pinili kong magtrabaho sa malayo para rin maexperience kong mamuhay mag isa, drama hahaha. Hindi talaga ganon yung naisip kong mangyayari sa decision kong 'yon, but I can say na masaya akong maexperience yung ganong challenges sa life. I am still in the process of growing and learning to the woman I want to be. Medyo matagal ang growth ko, yes, but those little steps are still counted.

I am so thankful to my dormmates na kahit madalas akong naiiwan mag isa kasi kasama nila ang mga jowa nilang nagddinner, masaya naman kapag magkakasama kaming apat lahat na nagchichikahan,nagtatawanan at nagrrant sa mga kaganapan sa office. That 8 months in a compact room with them is a one of a kind experience I will never have with anyone.
