The Fentons have taken care of the giant fire ant issue in Landreth park. They were able to enter the ants’ tunnel system and capture them all in Fenton Thermoses.

Tomorrow is the last day of school for Casper High seniors. Graduation will be held on Sunday, May 19, in the gymnasium. Students will be expected to arrive by 9:00 AM and the ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM.

The Fentons will likely not be driving today.

10/23/24 WIP Wednesday (Closed) | TBD AU

Neil can’t handle another word, he shoots up and the chair clatters to the ground and he rushes out of the room not stopping even as he hears Aaron yelling at him to come back. Neil gets out of the hospital, he shouldn’t have ever been in the room with Andrew to begin with.

He knew that he shouldn’t but Neil had done plenty of things that he shouldn’t. So he demanded that he ride along in the ambulance, lied his way into getting updates from the nurses and doctors when they were doing the initial scans, and told himself that it was only until Aaron and Katelyn arrived. Told himself it wouldn’t be long even though Katelyn had relayed a message via Nicky that they were stuck in the post game traffic and that it’d be hours.

So he let himself sit there in the hospital room with Andrew.

The cooler night air hits his lungs and Neil feels like he’s going to be sick.

“Abram”

It wasn’t a name that Andrew should know, or at least, not one that he would use to refer to Neil. Not now, not when he doesn’t remember when Neil gave it to him. Gave him the only real thing Neil had at the time.

Neil slams his hand on the pedestrian crossing button multiple times he considers just running across the busy 4-lane road and ignoring the blaring horns and possible death but stays until the light turns and continues to run…until the next light.

“Why are there so many fucking lights?” he pants, wiping at sweat on his forehead. He straightens up in an instant when he hears a much beloathed ringtone. He takes two deep breaths before he answers, “Lord Moriyama,” he greets.

Had a gut feeling that Fellow Travelers wouldn't win anything because it was remarkably honest, queer, progressive, and explicit all at the same time and Hollywood isn't half as forward thinking as it claims to be and...well here we are.
