summary: soobin found his own fairy of shampoo. the one that makes him smile whenever they show up on screen, and even manages to brighten up his day whenever he's upset. but this feels a little familiar, isn't it? he hopes it won't be like the song they released. he wants to be able to face the fairy that casted a spell on him without the screen between them.

The song had been stuck in his head all day. From morning until he slept he has the song on repeat and every time a certain someone's part comes on, he smiles and his dimples become more prominent.

Seeing her makes him unbelievably happy. It made him realize that this is how their beloved fans feel whenever they see them or their favorite, his chest feels light and his stomach is filled with butterflies. Whenever he has the chance he makes sure to watch their performances and at times he catches himself watching a fancam of hers.

That's when he realized that he was deep into their fandom. He couldn't get out of the rabbit hole, and even if he tried it wouldn't be easy.

"Who are you looking at?"

The voice behind him made him quickly scroll away from a photo, his thumb stopped on a post about an interview with a random group.

Yeonjun raised an eyebrow at him. He moved and sat down beside the leader, who froze in his seat, and leaned over his shoulder to look at his phone.

Soobin pressed the link to the interview to look less suspicious, though the sweat on his temple could say otherwise. The chances of Yeonjun seeing the bead of sweat is low and he wouldn't really think anything of it. And on top of that, they just finished practicing.

"I'm just reading," the blond finally spoke up.

Yeonjun moved away and leaned his back against the wall, he hummed and gave him a nod. "Alright then. I'm just asking what got you so focused on your screen."

Soobin didn't answer. He forgot to switch their official public account as a group to his account, but hopefully he won't like anything about her to avoid raising suspicion among the netizens and creating unnecessary issues. He wouldn't want her group to get attacked just because he likes their music. It's unfair how they treat girl groups compared to boy groups and that extremely saddens him.

"Hyung, can you help me with this?" Taehyun called out from a distance, alerting the older one beside Soobin.

Yeonjun immediately stood from the floor and made his way towards Taehyun, but Soobin didn't really care what was going on and lowered his gaze on his phone. Whatever they were doing he shouldn't really focus on it as it didn't include him.

He switched the account to his own account and let out a sigh of relief, his lips curling into a smile as soon as the feed loaded in and a series of NewJeans update accounts filled his timeline; however, a specific member took over the whole timeline once he began to scroll through them.

A Fairy of Shampoo, what does it really mean? A person you really admire that makes you no longer feel lonely and sad every time you see them. They always appear on screen just in time.

Soobin was often seen smiling while gazing at his screen, as witnessed by the other members numerous times. It happens often right after they practice and he's at the corner of the room with his phone. One of them even thought he was dating someone, but soon they realized that their leader is just another fanboy. They found out soon enough and they didn't mind.

As long as Soobin is happy then they are, as well. But it gets annoying sometimes. But little did they know it's only the start of chaos and love.
