✎ 01.13.2020 // oh boy...the semester has started—today i looked over requirements for my courses, watched two assigned TEDtalks, worked on introduction posts, and mentally prepared myself for the long semester! i am full of dread but trying to work through it and have a positive mindset. one bite at a time!!

no bike ride to the gym / raining
3 x 10 incline press
3 x 10 pec machine
8 x 10 incline sit ups
2 x 5 dips
30 minutes on the step mill
3 x 10 seated press
the gym workers received mini Reeses
once a month we have meeting Monday and that was today. Meeting Monday consists of staff meeting, safety meeting, and then budget meeting. the company does feed us breakfast and lunch since we are so busy with meetings. on top of that I had multiple work things to follow up on from last week and 2 emails from a federal regulator person asking for some report that i should have supplied at the end of October and then i had a couple of other work things, and a phone call about a person i need to evaluate, so my day was ultra busy. i worked some during lunch and was productive most of the other time, even working on several things in rapid succession. hopefully the remainder of the week is less of a bear. i did leave work on time and didn’t bring my computer home so i can try to contain the stress there. when i got home from the gym, Peanut crawled in my lap for awhile and that was sweet. i think she knew.

Another One
I have no idea how many times I start a post saying I'm starting to work out again. it hurts me so much that I even let myself get to this point, but it is what it is. The point is I am trying and this one might actually work. I’m on my 2nd week of working out and dieting and so far I lost 8lbs in a week. I worked out five times last week. I am currently enrolled in this diet program with the transformation camp so I think that’s really helping me shed the weight. I am supposed to lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks. So 5 more weeks to go! I think my main goal for this diet is to learn how to eat small because I think that is my biggest problem right now. I think when I fix that I don’t need to be so strict with myself. I think that if I can learn how to eat healthy on a daily basis and especially when I go out I can be successful. Because I go out a lot, with my bf and with friends and we never eat healthy food for the most part. So I think if I can find healthy meals while still going out and socializing I think that will be very successful for me. I also think that if I continuously work out 5x a week this will also help me moving forward. I want being healthy to be my lifestyle and not just a diet. I think this diet will put me in the right direction.
