Propaganda

Captain Flint was the captain of a pirate ship, The Walrus, which accumulated an enormous amount of captured treasure. On August 1, 1750, Flint and six members of his crew bury the plunder on an island located somewhere in the Caribbean Sea. Flint then murders his six assistants, leaving the corpse of one with its arms outstretched in the direction of the buried treasure. The location of the treasure had been marked by Flint on a map and while he was dying it entrusted to his first mate William "Billy" Bones. The only person Flint was said to fear was his quartermaster John Silver, who later even called his parrot "Captain Flint" in mockery.

7 äventyr / Magic Sword, the (1962) [🔁🆓] Vill så gärna följa Sinbad i dennes fotspår. Milt underhållande riddare-i-stumpbyxor-äventyr.

Atlas (2024) [👍] Netflix bjuder på överraskande bra och solid SF. Avgjort värd en chans.

En Världsomsegling Under Havet / 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1997) [👍🆓] Tänka sig att Hallmark gjort en adaption av den här klassikern. Sevärd och underhållande visade den sig vara med.

Falkenbergs Revyn: Tvärdrag (2024) [👍📺] Alltid underhållande.

Herkules i Skräckens Borg / Ercole al centro della Terra (1961) [👍🆓] Filmen som var en stor inspirationskälla till Bodybuildern och senare Conan: Barbaren-skådespelaren Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Katastrof i Söderhavet / Sinners in Paradise (1938) [👎🆓] Segtuggat drama i paradismiljö.

Rubikon (2022) [👍] Europeisk SF (Österrike denna gång) som är överraskande bra.

Undiscovered Tomb / Ji di huang ling (2003) [🆓] Kinesisk take på Indiana Jones och Toombraider, underhållande men svår att ta på allvar.

Velocity Trap (1999) [🆓] Rörig Heist-film förlagd till rymden.

Kritikerkåren har inte skrikit efter mer, men Netflix' Atlas var bättre än väntat och jag ser då ingen anledning och inte ge den en chans. Katastrof i Söderhavet vet jag dock inte om någon blir lycklig av att se.

just watched the 20,000 leagues under the sea movie adaptation and. why does it suck so bad. like if i had never read the book i might have just been like "well its really outdated in places and definitely not for me but like whatever" but???? they did the book SO dirty. they got every character so insanely wrong
