What Calms Huffman after a Bad Day?

There are numerous of things that ranges from harmless sleeping to getting physically violent with a sword. Generally, a bad day would leave him overworked and exhausted to where he just wants to crawl into bed and get the necessary minutes of sleep that his body needs to function.

That said, other forms of destress is often just more work. He is a man who needs a distraction and putting his energy into something that is familiar - and that familiarity comes in making medicine. If he still has energy and is a little frustrated, he'll often make his way up towards the cathedral and lock himself in his room to just start making extra supplies and goods. It keeps his mind moving, where he can take out his anger in a healthy manner by crushing herbs and melting, breaking, and packaging things that can benefit Mondstadt.

But, should that not prove enough he will go to a more violent approach and will often take up his sword and re-train his more formal job as a [ Scharfrictar ] by reminding himself how to properly swing a sword to decapitation someone with one swing.

This in effect will lead Huffman to practice on dead animals and effectively cleaning the training area as well as properly dispose of the corpse(s). As such, this path will take him a few hours and often leads him relieve enough stress that he can return back home, wash up, and sleep.

Huffman's Prized Possession(s)

Huffman truly has no prized possessions at all. He is generally not a very wealthy individual nor is he a man who gives this sentimental value. However, like everything else on this blog things have changed a little since I last answered this.

As of late, Huffman would consider one item as a prized possession: [ a survival knife ] commissioned and crafted by Viktor ( @otverzhennyy )who gave it to him as a birthday gift. Although Huffman ultimately didn't think he needed one as he has no room to put it or know what to use it for...Huffman keeps it on his kitchen counter for easy access and on display.

It is a beautiful knife, something worth more than anything Huffman owns, and he quite frankly is embarrassed by having it in his possession. But he finds some uses for it, either using it as a letter opener or to help open some boxes since it's quite a good blade.

He also is scared to actually use it since he finds it very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. So much that he loathes when he even thinks about putting it in his little medical bag...afraid that he'd get it dirty. Huffman probably needs to get it frame like his Barbara Poster that was signed as another surprise gift. Both very thoughtful.

Like at this point I thought that just like the player The Traveler would have figured that Viktor is just a tsundere that's why he's so rude But you really treat him like a dick during that last commission and I was like "RIP."

“ If you thought it might be cold in Snezhnaya, you should see where I come from ! All the way up North ! It takes days for any carriage to reach there, but it is all worth it. We procure raw materials to be then brought either directly to the Capital or an industrial base midway through : we can’t have those directly over there or else the fragile wildlife balance might shift and we would not have a consistent supply anymore.

It’s so cold up here that we actually do not have the means to bring as much technology at the Capital. It’s already freezing all over the nation compared to other places, but over there it’s a whole other level, we have to be careful : if the roads are ever cut due to the weather, we need to have the supplies to be self sufficient for weeks or maybe months ! Not like we particularly need it : if there are any community who mastered the craft of survival and to know when to aim true, it’s us ! Anyone of all age knows the tricks, really, not just per tradition, but out of necessity.

The largest chunk of our trade is through hunting ! Wildlife in Snezhnaya is strong and enduring in general, but nothing like up there where you’ll find the largest polar bears, lynxes and sea lions ! Sometimes fishermen will stop their boat to do some trade, so we have a small port to accommodate. For generations expeditions have push further and further into discovering what’s hiding further in the tundra, thus the rarity of what we provide. Multiple expeditions across the forest or mountains end up with poor saps getting caught and dying out there, so there’s also a lot of stories about hidden treasures, because what better place to hide something than under tons of ice and snow ~ ? Or discoveries or mysterious caves no man has ever set foot in ? Conquering the highest mountain of all Teyvat... nothing like your pitiful Dragonspine where the weather is so mild at the top your Pyro users can walk up there in shorts and light shirt ~ !

Our sled dogs are also our most loyal companions ! Bred with love and care, not like Mondstadt little fragile horses. We do have horses, but up there it’s easier to have sled dogs to travel across the large ice lakes. Us Snezhnayans can take hits, but you better not lay a finger on any one of them. I do consider myself lucky to have been able to raise so many of them : they are probably what I miss from home to most.

As for you visiting, Traveler ? Uh, well I would not necessarily suggest it, ‘tis a long ass way and it is not a tourist spot. But hey, if you do, you’ll get your money worth : we’re professionals. ”

“ Well, although she is the nation’s figurehead, Her Excellency is quite secretive, and for good reasons. There is only so much I can tell you. Even back home, let’s say we’re not too loud about our personal opinions towards the higher ups, and for its own reasons : constantly voicing up petty complaints about your leader only leads to weakness, after all. If issues arise, they are dealt with, not gossiped upon.

The Cryo Archon is both our God and our Ruler. Through the centuries she has slowly built the most powerful nation in all of Teyvat, in and of itself, it should tell you both the advantages and disadvantages of accomplishing such a task. There is no other country who has the most resources, the military power and technology advancement than Snezhnaya, spread across all corners of Teyvat at that.

Her Majesty has a goal, and it is the prosperity of our homeland. A leader has to make choices, and whether some feathers were ruffled in the process is irrelevant ultimately, because, with what she achieved, she clearly made the right calls.

Her Highness very rarely makes an appearance : I have only seen her once in my life during a speech in the courtyard of her palace to the Fatui. With so much power comes great responsibilities : she is a Goddess, but still a single individual. As almighty as she is, she has taken on so much that there is not a single second to spare. It is well known that she works tirelessly for our home’s future. This is why she sends her Harbingers as representatives and why we, the Fatui, every single one of us, exist to support Her ideals.

She remains in the Zapolyarny Palace, for the most part. And is renowned for her ethereal beauty and ice cold elegance. A single look at her is enough to frostbite your every extremities. If anyone doubt or challenges her integrity, it only takes mere seconds to understand you are in the presence of who a True Queen is. How would I write you as a book character ?

THE MAIN CHARACTER THAT IS SHARP, OBSERVANT AND OBJECTIVE IN THEIR NARRATION.

While my main characters are usually quiet, they have eyes about everywhere and aren't afraid to think the obvious. Soul stained with sins past and heart broken by the so-called saints, they crave redemption and freedom. For it, they would sin again.
