Well now I’m invested in the idea of that outpost surviving and thriving (fillin with every person Mechi ever gets and decides they don’t want around) and they all live on to thank Mechi meanwhile Mechi still like ‘cool celebrate at a distance’ (or maybe a good feel of ‘heh. I can help people! And without needing to stick around!’ Cause. Man left his sis BEHIND to help them? You need some regular copium to believe that didn’t hurt some feels or that something might go wrong while ur gone (all that coffee and no anxiety?)—) I love ur rimworld serieses—

My brother has remarked that it seems like Mechi is the one in an outpost while the gang at Arwell is building their own fully-fledged colony. I thought that "reclusive research outpost mechanitor" sounded like a fun story pitch, so I'm happy to roll with it.

As for feeling anxious about leaving his sister behind... I think Mechi has sorely underestimated just how much his single-minded determination runs in his family.

Of course, he doesn't know that Yamka has dragged his parents around the galaxy looking for him, so he's probably still anxious about it, buuut... He might be reunited with his family sooner than he thinks (Randy willing 🤞).

OH AERIE YOU KNOW I'M WEAK AGAINST PEOPLE ASKING ME ABOUT MY DUMB THOUGHTS ILY2.

It is 90% pun at the moment but the main thought right now is an Andrew going through the events of the Trilogy kind knowing what happened the 1st time but for some reason....Neil isn't there.

He knows Neil is supposed to be there.

So it's Andrew chasing the ghost of Neil, trying to find him, did he dream him all up, was Neil Josten just a beautiful pipe dream? But he keeps finding evidence that Neil exists. It feels like Neil is smoke in his fingers, he can almost see him, catches wisps of his scent, but when he reaches out Neil isn't solid enough to grasp.

So he keeps searching and things change around him because Neil Josten isn't there. Some good and some bad but it's hard to feel good about any of it when Neil isn't there.

There's also the concerning gap in memory before he found himself looking down at some new recruit who wasn't the boy he wanted to burn the world down for.

something something the timeline catches up to the endgame admiral janeway timeline (so like 20 years or w/e) and errrrr philippa gets recruited by the DTI something something *endgame!amelia being with the krenim and trying to mess things up and theyre using her to get to this alternate version of her sister something something both parties are going back to the events of Endgame so philippa sees her five year old self while she's trying to stop her sister from doing damage to the timeline IDK :)

*kinda got inspied from @elephant-in-the-pride-parade's Lesson Plans endgame chapter where the admiral says that philippa abandons voyager in the DQ, amelia makes it home after those 20 years but immediately leaves to find her sister,,,,,,,, my idea being that that timeline's amelia ends up with the krenim to try and get her sister back and its jorking up everything
