Steven Universe Future Finale

Steven Universe has ended. Dare I say, finally. Dont get me wrong. The concept and story are good. I liked SU overall. But just like everything in the finale the ending was meh. Everyone and their mom knew hed mutate and that it would have a happy ending.

That being said, and despite its fillers and downs, I have the big sad. Just like with every series or game I enjoyed, I feel empty inside when its over. 

But Rebecca could easily milk this series further. 

I highly doubt that Steven can pass on his gem, and he will eventually die. Now I dont know if his death affects his gem at all, like does it just stop working or even shatter after his death, or does it just restart into either Pink or another new persona, or just Pink Steven remains idk. Rebecca has quite some options to work with here.

If Stevens gem “dies” with him, there is the possibility of a new pink diamond being born. And maybe this Pink doesnt like the current politics and changes everything back, same could happen, if Stevens gem restarts into a new person. A new diamond hatching would be cool in any scenerio.

If the gem goes back to being Pink, she could face the consequences and take responsibility for her actions. And as the thot as she is maybe make another Steven. And that Steven maybe is not so nice. -starting an Avatar cycle intensifies- Though I will say Id prefer if wed distance ourselves from the human aspect of the show, not many people give a single fuck about the citizens.

If Stevens gem restarts into a new person it will spice things up. because this new individual has neither affiliations with Pink/Rose nor with Steven. An entire new person.

And there are many more possibilities out there.

But if the show ends here for good, thats ok too. Maybe Rebecca comes up with something new.
