the only hoax i believe in - a kfam fic in my top 5s why yes and i'll tell you why. because i poured so much of myself into this fic that they could probably read it at my funeral instead of a eulogy

traveling so far to get there - after party au raph and mikey continue to take up so much real estate in my brain and for what

now the darkness comes alive - this one is more recent but im so happy with the way it turned out :')

if we could stay all day in the sun - it was a lot of fun reimagining one of my favorite fairy tales and doing a bunch of unnecessary research for this story i will stand by it until the day i die !!

Dude I wrote this concept in like ten minutes. Obviously there would have to be plot points worked out. And yeah it’s pretty much a different book. I tagged it ‘Alternative Story’ lol

But the reason I wrote this out is bc I remember in the first pjo serious the books were so FUN to read. Like I could probably think more about personal character arcs but honestly was thinking about how awesome it would be for hazel and Nico to have they’re own book. And personally it makes way more since for hazel and Nico to get out of Tartarus alive than him and Will sorry. I wrote the Bob misdirect because in canon it’s stated that for some odd reason Nico just DOESNT KNOW where Jason went?? That in itself was strange so it’s possible his soul could have gotten intercepted.

Also it would be fun to read about how out of touch Nico and hazel would be with modern things. Also you don’t have to have a ‘conflict of personalities’ in order for a pair to be interesting. The 1930s sibling bonding would be enough.

I thought about the mania being bc Jason is a ghost and his soul is in Tartarus the soul consuming monster (have to think more on this) is helping the festering feelings of anger Jason has at being a hero and THIS gets to be his afterlife. Also him not getting to follow his dreams of creating shrines for the unnoticed gods start to wear his soul down. And it just becomes too much. Especially since the ‘monster’ manipulates Jason saying his friends (Leo and Piper) didn’t even go to his funeral. And that his friend Nico didn’t come to check on him and doesn’t care where he went.

I think the Bob misdirect would make since because Nico BELIEVES that Bob is down there. Since Percy and annabeth told him so. Since he doesn’t know where Jason is and assumes he might be in elysium or something he’s not really thinking about that. Also I think it would be interesting to see one of the most disciplined hero’s just… break. Also would be cool to see three Big Three kids fight.

About the Jason resurrection is that he still has a lot of stuff to do. Hades would probably be more lenient on allowing him to live once more bc Jason was in the process of creating shortens for the UNNOTICED gods. And the gods that need more respect. Hades grudgingly thinks that endeavor is worth it.

(Also I thought Jason’s death was stupid and riordan killed him for no reason to bring attention to the toa series bc it wasn’t doing as great.

I think Hazel should’ve gone with Nico instead down to Tartarus. Without a prophecy or quest bc Nico and Hazel don’t play by the rule book.

Then we could’ve gotten an adorable underworld sibling bonding book with both of them hilariously being unaware of modern stuff. And telling each other stuff they’ve learned. They ditch both of their boyfriends who are freaking out because they don’t know where they snuck off to. And since Nico said in THoH that when he and Hazel shared power that anything felt possible they truly believe they will succeed. Also Hazel understands death and wouldn’t be complaining every five seconds like Will was. Maybe it would’ve been more original and less percabeth 2.0 (but worse)

Also they find Jason’s ghost but he’s become a mania like his mom and Nico and Hazel have to battle a crazy son of Jupiter without killing him bc they also want to cure him too.

They figure out the voice was never Bob bc Bob was absorbed into tartarus’s breastplate (like in actual canon HoH) but that it was Jason and that’s why Nico didn’t know where Jason’s spirit had gone. It had been intercepted and Jason has turned into a mania like his mother. The one thing he never wanted to be.

Nico cries over the inevitable fate that Bob had to go through but promises to always tell his story.

In Jason’s manic state he blames Nico for not checking on him and seeing that he got a peaceful afterlife and greives the fact that Piper and Leo and Nico ‘never bothered’ to attend his funeral. Nicos spirit is crushed but realizes that Jason’s being manipulated by a soul sucker monster or god that wanted to trap Nico in order to consume his energy/power and shadow travel out of his prison and into the mortal world.

And now that Hazel and Nico are both there that’s double the power to consume.

The soul consumer taunts them saying he used Jason - son of the King of the Gods - as a little toy in order to easily bring his pawns to him. Remarking how easy and quick it was to bait someone like Nico.

Someone who can never leave someone behind.

And Hazel, how easy it was to get her to follow her brother. Taunting that she’s just as stupid, gullible, and selfless…

The children of the underworld snap.

And all Hades breaks loose. Signaling to every monster within a 100 mile radius to know exactly where they are.

They escape with Nemesis help but she wants something equally valuable in return for helping Nico and Hazel escape. Nico breaks down and agrees to relinquish all of his precious memories of Bianca in return for Hazels life. Choosing Hazel over memories of Bianca makes Hazel cry and they bond stronger.

Strangely enough Nico becomes happier without the constant grief of his older sister on his shoulder.

In a way choosing to let her go the same way she did when she chose to be with the hunters.

And then once again when she chose reincarnation.

They still have to worry about Jason though who is constantly causing blood thunderstorms across Tartarus’s sky and wrecking havoc all over the place.

Hazel mangages to trap Jason in a kaleidoscope of a shadows and shadow travel him to the boat that will lead them out. She lets him out but he’s struggling so much in his metal binds that Nico has to knock him out with a punch to the face bc he’s the only one that can touch ghosts.

The ferry up the river out of Tartarus and chat about everything. Hades awaits them when they arrive.

Very angered that his two only living children disobeyed his strict order of not going down there, but relinquishes it eventually when he realizes how tired and beat up his kids look and praises them instead. Hades turns to Nico and states that his older sister would be proud of him. Which Nico replies with confusion saying he doesn’t have an older sister which saddens hades as he figures out what Nico had to give away.

He offers them both something they want.

Anything.

Hazel wishes for Jason to be cured of his mania, and Nico wishes to give Jason back a chance at life. As he still had so much work to do for the gods and goddesses that did not have shrines and action figures to respect them.

Both of these things surprise hades but he grudgingly does so (bc Jason is a son of Jupiter/zeus) saying that Nico and Hazel are indeed very special children.

Jason comes back to life and hugs the daylights out of Nico & Hazel crying like a little kid as memories of torment in Tartarus resurface into guilt. Hades thinks it’s slightly amusing to see a tall muscular son of Jupiter being consoled by his two smaller children.

Nico says he kept the plans of the shrines Jason wanted to build and says maybe he can help with decorating (lol)

The end. I’m gonna have to get some artist to draw a comic version of this to heal my soul.

The princess and her entourage! (You might have to click to see the pics better!! So I added face shots too)

I’ve posted my design for Andromeda (Andy) before, but this is a more casual version! Still pretty fancy though since she IS a princess, but this is what i consider to be her more authentic look outside of stiff regal attire. That’s why this one has the symbol of the Andromeda constellation while her regal attire lacks it. And the half-skirt and top is meant to be like her dress was cut into two pieces!

Meanwhile the two beside her are characters I havent posted before at all! On the left is Andy’s attendant, Koeia (Koe), and on the right is her knight, Perseus (Percy). Both of them put their princess in a pedestal, but in opposite ways. i’ll put more info about those two and their respective dysfunctionalities under the cut lol

Koe to start! her name comes from a star that literally just means “star” sort of straight to the point. She’s been the princess’ attendant for about 4 years now, ever since they were both around 18. In this time their relationship has grown to what even Koe may dare to call a friendship, if she would be so bold. But they’re not very close- because of Koe’s instance on being overly formal and proper at all times they’re simply unable to connect. The thing is, Koe knows she harbors romantic feelings for the princess, but she also knows that isn’t her role to play, so instead she remains dedicated to her as her attendant, her maid, her lady in waiting, but never anything more than that. It would not be appropriate for a princess to even entertain such ideas with her, so she ignores her own feelings and spares herself the trouble. Of course her flaw is this over-devotion to make up for her own lack of self-worth, so her power is an extension of this; She has the ability to boost other people’s powers. Despite it being non-combative, she’s still a skilled fighter with her sickles, a gardening tool perfect for a maid, of course.

And then is Percy who is... Well he’s the princess’ personal knight, the most highly ranked with the ego to show it. He’s named after the Perseus constellation, which comes from the myth of the hero Perseus, who rescued Andromeda- that’s the role he gets to play in this story. Being the number 1 best knight just made him to whatever he wants, and when he can’t get it he feels like it’s his own fault for not being enough, so in order to protect his own ego he has to double down and convince himself that he truly does deserve it all. And this trait becomes especially terrible in relationships- he has a sort of preoccupation with Andy, she’s the princess and he’s the knight, he’s going to woo her eventually and they’re going to be together, because that’s how these things have to go. Except they don’t, she has no interest in him at all and his interest in her is only surface-level, it’s more like she’s somekind of trophy and not a real life person to him. His affection is ingenuine, to her and to himself, and unhealthy at that. Before they can even begin to form a friendship he has to be willing to see her as a person outside of her role as princess, and his role as hero. Even his weapon comes from the myth of Perseus, it’s the type of sword that was used to cut off the head of Medusa. And his power is an ultimate sword slice, capable of cutting through anything, powerful enough to defeat any enemy, perfect for the role of a hero.

I hate to say it but Kashtara/Fury and Human Pakku just warms my soul the most. After that I’ve got to say the Percy and Rias thing is great.

WHAT  ARE  YOU  WILLING  TO  WRITE  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  SHIPPING?   Tbh just about anything really. I love the cute shit, the angst. Even heart breaking stuff is ok. If its within the bounds of what could happen then most likely im ok writing it.

HOW  LARGE  DOES  THE  AGE  GAP  HAVE  TO  BE  TO  MAKE  IT  UNCOMFORTABLE?

For human Pakku anyone under 18 Is a bit much. Seeing as how he’s in his twenties. but he is ok talking to anyone else. For shipping or those kinda relationships id say oldest he’d go would be 30-35ish?

The Descender doesnt really ship like that. At most you’d get Descender Pakku, Or Terra, to for a familial bond with someone. Chances of an actual relationship though is hard to say so in that case age really doesnt matter to them at all

Same could be said of Percy. Considering he is so old he cant remember his actual age. As long as who he is with is 18 or older he could care less personally. Even if he continues to look like he is mid 30s at oldest

Hell No. So long as there is chemistry and nothing is forced Im all for shipping with anyone anytime. So long as you can convey whats going on with your writing we’re good to go. Besides my boys...Descenders excluded tend to get squishes and crushes fairly easily.
