help why am i seeing knuckles birthday posts. knuckles' birthday is usually celebrated on february 2nd? where are people getting january 13th from
#i havent seen that many just a couple but still confusing#when it comes to celebrating sonic character birthdays we tend to just make it the day their debut game was released#since there are no canon in universe birthdays or canon dates for anything thats happened#(well sonics birthday is officially celebrated on june 23rd by sega so i guess you could count that as a canon birthday#but other than that. i dont think any character has an exact known birthday)

I've got the BIGGEST mixed feelings about Legends Z-A's unspecified month 2025 release date.
My brain is going: Ah yes. Smart decision. This is great. Gives them more development time. Let them cook. :)
But my heart, upon hearing that I won't be able to play a brand new Pokémon game this year, not a main series game, spinoff or a DLC, for the first time ever, is going:
#pokemon#pokemon legends z-a#pokémon#I usually ask for the newest Pokémon game as a Christmas gift#There's just something magical about starting a brand new adventure and picking your Starter on Christmas Morning#I got a new Pokémon game for Christmas in 2014 2016 2017 2018 2019 2021 and 2022#Happened so much that I started considering it as a Christmas tradition and I missed it so much in Christmas 2023#I was ASSUMING the next game was gonna be releasing in November this year so I'd be able to do the tradition again this year#bUT THERE'S NO GAME THIS YEAR 😭#I guess they could announce something smaller like a spinoff or ports in June.#I'm sad but at least the extra development time will make the Legends game better.#The wait is gonna kill me

looking myself in the mirror like am I really about to completely reshuffle the lover boy timeline just so i can get the single release of i want your sex in there and write beau’s live reaction
#if I want to make it i have to set the timeline back by TWO MONTHS!!!#right now it starts June 20 into 21st and it has to be on the 20/21 because Bobby **** on the 21st#at first I was like okay so I’ll go back one month into may#and the single dropped in the us on the 18th COME ON#I am actually curious at exploring the discourse and controversy though bc it fits with the novels themes#I mean it could be fun!!!! I just have no idea how long I want the timeline to be still#the only thing I know is it needs to extend to October because there’s three major plot points there#that can’t happen in any other month#which would make it at least 6 months#if I want valentines that would make it a ten month timeline#I feel weird because RR and until heaven both had clear ending points#I mean at one point rr was four fucking years but once that was taken away I knew when it needed to end timeline wise#here it’s like well just see how the pacing goes#I almost want to end it at halloween/november bc that would be 1 year after RR ends#but that would also mean george michael faith dropping in time with the emotional climax LOL#wait if i do it like that then beaus essentially spending the whole novel waiting for george michael to release his debut solo album WAITT#that’s so funny in just the right way

#toshio-free-wi-fi#for real don't know what i'm going to do once this is over#i have nothing to anticipate or be excited about until like june or whenever they announce more project century plans#i have plans to carry on with golden kamuy but it doesn't have the same excitement tied to it as waiting for something to release like this#i love toshio free wifi it's so easily accessible and fairly easy to digest too#it's somewhat lacking in depth but that's just the format really#i just love how it plays off its absurd premises as being totally believable and almost normal to the characters#like it's ABSURD to think you could crack your rib and suddenly start emitting wifi signals#but it's not absurd enough to the characters for anyone to go particularly insane about it outside of the scene in the restaurant#i can't wait to see where it goes now that toshio's back from the internet world but i have a feeling it's only got another few weeks left

amazon marketing is so good at marketing itself as very pro lgbt+ but only if it means spoiling the series to people (see good omens and the leaked "every" spoiler*), but when it comes to actually marketing the single lgbt+ serie? I've never seen either good omens or hazbin hotel on the front page.
HELL YESSSSSS! (I am a bit salty that you don't see it in their Amazon Originals section on the "front page", but whatever)
#well there was that lgbt+ british crown fanfiction movie briefly#on the home page#but in general amazon isn't too keen to promote its own series (good omens coughcough)#so I can imagine how much interest they could have for a series that isn't even produced by them#but just distributed on their platform#*well ok here's the tea (spoilers for s2 of good omens):#good omens was announced to come out (haha) in July of 2023#so amazon marketing department thought it'd be cool to spoil the final kiss between the two main characters#(who had never been announced as a couple before-imagine Sherlock and John or Dean and Cas suddenly kissing-it was THAT big of a deal)#like 90% of the fandom wasn't expecting them to become a real in-your-face couple ... so it was meant as a surprise#but amazon marketing department had other ideas:#so in June 2023 they released a compilation of all their gay kisses sped up-to celebrate pride (which is... so on the nose but I digress)#and yes! One of those kisses was Azi and Crowley from good omens (it was right in the beginning too...) but the series HADN'T AIRED YET#I think the video compilation stayed online for 3 whole days before someone noticed#and the fandom obviously exploded#also because they spoiled what was meant to be a twist and a delicate moment just to score cheap brownie points during pride.#So our series was spoiled to exploit the visibility that lgbt+ community has had in the recent years...#annoying but it made for some funny memes ('every' was the name of the leak because the word that covered their kiss was 'every' lol)#babbelbabbles#about#fandom lore#good omens lore#these tags are longer than the declaration of indipendence#sorry#edit: ok this was queued a looong time ago and now that hazbin hotel has been making big numbers#suddenly amazon has been marketing it much better than it did before#but I'm still salty at how we basically didn't get any promo for s2 of gomens especially here in Italy
